Service: on point Food: on point Plating: on point Beers: on point I live in Chicago and would definitely come back. Had the fried green tomatoes, side salad, sirloin with brick house Mac and cheese and bourbon pecan pie. Produce quality was amazing, sirloin was cooked at a perfect mid-rare, Mac and cheese was rich and pasta was not over cooked! Pecan pie had a buttery flaky crust and was not and over processed with corn syrup and flour, quite flavorful! Beer selection on tap was great! Yum!

Wow! Staying in a nearby small town for work that has only 1 decent restaurant & it's not open tonight. Drove 18 miles to get here & I would drive twice that! Excellent food, outstanding martinis & fantastic service! We both had bi-polar martinis which are honestly one of the best cocktails I've ever had & I live in Detroit. The mushroom Swiss burger was cooked perfectly as ordered, juicy & flavorful. Hand cut fries & kettle chips were both very tasty. Friend had the Southern Gentleman (pulled pork sandwich) & though messy was described as finger licking good! Wish we had room to try dessert! Will definitely be back for our next business trip!

Awesome waitresses. How do you cook a softball sized steak perfectly? Fish and chips were perfectly breaded and tasty. King crab mac and cheese could use some king crab chunks. All I all 4 on 5. Hope you give them a try over the rusty dog first.

Have tried several entrees, all fabulous. They do something special to everything. Dining area very small and in winter, people coming and going can let in cold air. Because bar is part of dining area, no kids. There is fenced off outside seating for families in warm weather. They do downtown promotions, good for the area. Parking right at the door and a free lot next to restaurant. Would like to see chef come out, but priority is making good food, so it's all good.

This is definitely a 5 star restaurant for Huntington. I was in town visiting my Grandfather, and we decided to dine out for the evening. We entered the very small but fashionably decorated restaurant & had to wait a minute to be seated. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. At times, it showed that this was understaffing the restaurant, but she did a great job balancing all the parties as well as the bar. This place has a decent amount of beers on tap as well as other specialized drinks and a full bar. As an appetizer we had the fried pickles (my favorite appetizer anywhere!) These were some of the best fried pickles I've ever had! Sliced the long way & battered well, these were so yummy! Our party ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap: good sized, good flavor; the Blu Brothers burger: although we asked for it to be medium & it came out rare, was very tasty; and the Undertaker: great for someone trying to eat a little lighter but still have a good sized meal because it's served without the bun. We tried the onion rings (which were alright; nothing special) and the chips which were a great alternative to the average fry! Apparently, this place can fill up quickly in the event there is something going on downtown. It's a pretty small place, so I wouldn't hesitate to make a reservation. Overall, our experience was a great one and we will definitely be back to try this spot again!

We tried this for the first time and we live out of town. When we originally called for a reservation, we were told they could not accommodate our time preference, but took our info anyway. We were impressed when they called back 45 minutes later. They had a cancellation and asked if we could still come! We did. Dining area is very small and they were packed. Saturday night also. Menu selection was good with some very unique items. Food arrived 25 mins after our order and was delicious. Couldn't believe it came as soon as it did considering they were so busy. We are going back! Neat little place!

Brickhouse is a small restaurant in downtown Huntington that will always come up when you "want to go somewhere nice." With just a handful of tables, you pretty much need a reservation when you go on the weekends. With a variety of appetizers, entrees, and micro-brews, the food is never disappointing... My personal favorite is the Englishman's Feast... This is a must if you are in Huntington. Only downside is that you need to be 21 to eat on the inside and 18 if you want to eat in their outdoor dining area....

We were kind of excited to try this place, as the reviews looked good. We walked in, and thought we were in the back room. There is no back room...it's just really small. There are 11 tables total & a bar-top. So, go early, or make a reservation. The atmosphere is quaint, but when the door opens...everyone in the restaurant can feel the cold wind come in, because of the poor design of the place. The server came up to us eventually, and said, "hi...do you know what you want to drink?" Kind of a cold greeting. They have craft beers written 2 different places on the wall, but they conflict in what the selections are. We ordered an appetizer called the Feisty Fiesta Dip, which comes with tortilla chips. It came surprisingly right away. It looked like something my cat threw up slopped in the middle of a bowl with broken-bottom-of-the-bag tortilla chips all around it. If it sounds like it looked like crap...you would be correct. I was surprised that it was a cold dip, which I wasn't expecting. It was mediocre at best. Once I got past the look of it...I was hungry, so I ate some. We saw the hostess come back from the store with a couple bags of tortilla chips, and several minutes later, our server brought out some whole chips. It was too late in my eyes, as they should've just said they were out. My date ordered a salad which came out one minute before the meal did. The fish & chips were good, but the brisket was just mediocre. Our server looked professional, although she wasn't good at all. The other server was wearing a weird looking shirt and blue jeans. The atmosphere looked professional, but that server looked like she should be stocking groceries at Wal-mart. SO...A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Too many things were bad, so we won't be back.

Everyone else was right - it is VERY SMALL. Went here on Sunday evening with reservations for 6:00. We were seated quickly, but after that, service was pretty slow. We ordered: potato skins appetizer, ribeyes, loaded potatoes, pulled pork, brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad. The potato skins were different, having pulled pork on top of them. I didn't care for that, but everyone else in my party really liked them. The ribeyes were ok - nothing that knocked my socks off. The loaded potato was very good. The salad came out after the meal. Drink refills were a little late, but I believe that is because there are so few employees because the restaurant is small. I must mention that all of the food was only lukewarm - they had probably been sitting waiting to be delivered for awhile. We enjoyed our meal, and except for it being slow service we might be back but I won't rush.

I imagine that when the saying "never judge a book by its cover" was stirred up the creator was standing in front of Brick House Grill on blah Washington Street in Huntington, Indiana. The modern lighting fixtures and colorful walls inside are no match for the beige exterior. I was quite pleased to find a chalkboard marked up with microbrew options, specifically Flat 12. I started off with Bell's Oberon wheat ale. The bartender, who has a burger named after him (D-Bo's Goober Burger), was very helpful in offering samples off the different options on tap. What's for dinner? I opted for a side of the house mac n' cheese, fried green tomatoes with shredded parmesean and vanilla creme brulee. House mac n'cheese: homemade. good. I was hoping for a little more of a unique flavor or cheese, but how much can you expect for three bucks? Fried green tomatoes: I appreciated the southwestern sauce and parmasean additions and the general fact that they had fgt on the menu. Creme brulee: still trying to decide if this was the real deal - custard style or more of a pudding knockoff. My friend's fiance had the breaded tenderloin, had I not just met him I would have asked to take a big bite of it. Looked perfectly crispy. Really great to see new and creative options like this in Huntington.

Thought I posted earlier didn't see it on yelp so forgive me if this is redundant . Small in area large in taste! Worth the trip . Just split pecan crusted walleye and salad with my wife. Salad w/ homemade blue cheese dressing and honey buttered croissants excellent and as for the walleye w/ mashed redskins "watch out Wisconsin Friday fishfry"! Tempting desserts reasonable drinks.

Brickhouse has become the best fine dining restaurant in the Huntington area. I have high expectations for any restaurant whether casual, fast food, or upscale .... brickhouse has now consistently exceeded those expectations. This is a must if you are in the area, my only recommendation is to call ahead to make sure they are open. I have not figured out the opening and closing times yet. Recommend the three steak options and ask about any specials they ay have that evening Lunch is an option too

Fried chicken breast with fried bacon, a fried onion ring, and cheese how could you go wrong? The foghorn leghorn sandwich named after a cartoon character is no joke. Would drive to Huntington for this Sammy again. Deducted a star because part of the appeal of this place was the craft beer selection but two of the beers I chose they were out of so I ended up with a miller light.

You seriously can't get better food in Huntington. Even after 5 years of being open, the food doesn't get old. The steak is great...Andy the owner/chef knows his way around a grill. I highly recommend the New York Strip. Make sure to call ahead on weekends. This place can be hopping at any given time.

Who says you can't get perfectly seared tuna or the most flavorful steak in Indiana. This place is a hidden gem amongst the cornfields. Ridiculously good. So good I am ready to empty my pension plan and offer to invest in a Fishers Brick House- not sure the Chef would let anyone else prepare the cuisine. They sauté their brussel sprouts with red onions, bacon, and maple syrup- unbelievably good. I can't help not forget all the times eating brussel sprouts as a kid and hiding them in my pocket when my parents weren't looking- only to get rid of the evidence in the bathroom. I think my Mother was aware of my shenanigans but she never did say anything. I think they should add the brussel sprouts as a main entree- you won't be disappointed. The pecan encrusted walleye is equally good. I realized now that I have a favorite place and it's the Brick House Grill.

Had to try The Brickhouse for a date night with my lovely wife. We started the evening with their appetizer, stuffed baby portobello mushrooms. They were delectable. She followed up with a 12oz. New York strip steak with mashed red skins and a side salad. I selected their black and bleu salad for my dinner. This salad consisted of a 4 oz. Filet Mignon over lettuce with red onions, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles, and their homemade bleu cheese dressing. Both steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Their service was excellent as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had heard good things about the Brickhouse Grill but we were disappointed. It said they were open at 4:00 but the doors were still locked at 4:15. When we ordered our food it took a while for us to get our salads and we were the only ones there, (there w ere 4 of us) . When we got out food the steaks the guys had ordered were cooked right but they were just warm, not hot. I ordered the grilled chicken and it was dry and just barely warm. We all agreed that we would rather have eaten at Logans than to eat there especially for the price that we had to pay. They are receiving one star and it is only for the decor.

The food has always hit the spot. Probably one of the best upscale restaurants in Huntington. I wish they had a bigger beer selection, but still a decent amount to choose from. The outside seating is a plus.
