This place is a hit or miss, when owners are there pizza is tasty. When its the workers pizza is only edible. Price wise is good but lack of taste in the ingredients. No wow factor here for the pizza nor the sandwiches. Also they only carry bacon bits not real bacon, to many short cuts for a pizza place.

Because this was a favorite of mine from my high school days I ordered an XL stuffed crust ground pepperoni pizza and an order of jalapeno poppers. Repeated to the worker several times what I wanted. Husband went in to pick up our order and he was told that their "Broiler" was down so they did not have the poppers. Great. Get home and bite into my pizza.... Do you see any ground pepperoni in or on my pizza anywhere? Maybe they took 3 pepperoni pieces ground them up and sprinkled them on an extra large pizza... Called in to complain about how bad the pizza was and the girl said "I made it myself there is pepperoni on it it's just mixed in with the sauce so you can't see it." Really???? "My manager Dan will call you tomorrow to talk to you about this and make it right." Guess who never called. Now this is not the 1st time this has happened to me at Key pizza. I had ordered about a year ago and thought the pizza was really bad back then and not anything like what I had remembered from back in high school but convinced myself that maybe I had ordered the wrong pizza "type" (maybe I didn't order the "stuffed crust" ) and I should give them another try making sure this time to get the correct stuffed pizza crust type of pizza. Sadly it is apparent that I didn't make a mistake either time when ordering, the pizza here is just bad unless you get the owner to make it specifically. Seriously, save your time, frustration levels and money. This is a place to pass up and you won't be missing a thing.

I'm leaving my review at five stars, as I love their crumbled sausage deep dish pizza. But I had an annoying friend (the kind of friend no one likes but you have to invite places) insist on getting the chunk sausage instead. DO NOT. There is not enough seasoning in this pizza to do something simple like plain cheese or their completely different, breakfast-sausage-y chunks sausage. The crumbled sausage MAKES the pizza here.

We have lived in Hammond all of our lives and have only tried Key Pizza once in the past 15 years. So we decided to give it a try. I ordered the family special XL two topping pizza, garlic bread, 1 lb of wings and a 2 liter for $24.99. First, the pizza was supposed to be sausage and pepperoni it was only sausage. and they forgot to give us our 2 liter. Strike 1 & 2 Next, the pizza was okay nothing to write home about. The wings (plain/ no sauce).....just say NO. They were dry, no season, simply no taste. Strike 3 ! We try to support our neighborhood businesses but in this case we will definitely drive a further distance in order to get good pizza.

Best Deep Dish Pizza I've ever had! I am from NW IN and have recently moved to Chicago. My roommate and I drive 45 minutes from the city to get this pizza every week! My parents have been going to this location for the past 30 years. It's the best deep dish pizza period. The pizzas are huge and a great value! I have tried many pizzas over the years and this one is definitely my favorite! The staff is friendly and always telling us about upcoming specials. My go to deep dish!!

Key Pizza is a unique favorite of mine. I get it whenever I am burnt out on all the other pizzas around and want something good and different. I am only referring to the stuffed pizza they make there though. I have tried the regular pizza and in my opinion the stuffed pizza is the only way to go. I am not saying the regular is bad I just do not know why you would want it after trying the stuffed pizza. I usually get a ground pepperoni stuffed pizza. If I want a little more heft to the pie and I am feeling extra hungry I add crumbled sausage to the pie. Many of my family and friends go there and I have not personally heard anything negative about this place in general. This place i a pickup pizza place. It is not very big to eat inside and the parking is only on the street. My only complaint is they do not deliver to Munster.

Meh.. Not my kind of pizza at all.. little spice .. little garlic ..bland sauce... sausage that's all chew and no flavor. This might be great for those old folks who think lettuce is too spicy.. but there are better places for my taste buds. The joint seems clean and friendly, and that's a plus.

Key Stuffed Pizza is awesome! We have had lunch there two weeks in a row. Week 1), stuffed medium sausage, mushroom, jalapeno, unbeliveable valve, the meduim was to large for two hungry guys to finish, would be perfect for three people. Week 2) stuffed small, sliced beef, tomatoes, bannana peppers, this small was perfect for both of us. The dinning room is small, but clean and well lit. Their beef sandwich is also a very good option, baked in the oven with cheese. I will be back, my favorite pizza in the area.

I've had pizza here a few times. They make a generally good pizza. It is a bit on the expensive side, and it takes a bit longer than I like. The dining room is only a few small booths, and the only parking is street parking.

I kept looking at the joint across the street. I should have gone with that. I had a slice of sausage pizza. It looked like a frozen number with ground meat on it. When I bit into it the cheese pulled everything off in one piece. Ah! plastic cheese. It was way to salty and for two and a half I was ripped off. In Chicago I can get a slice three times the size with a soda. He didn't even ask if I wanted something to drink.

Very good and theres lots of cheese on the pizza for a thin crust. I always get the special 1 xl pizza 2 toppings, a loaf of garlic bread, an order of wings and a 2 liter of pop for like 23 bucks with tax.
