Conveniently close to home, this is a great place to have dinner and catch a game or a band. Lake perch is yummy and my husband swears by the chicken wings. Rack of barbecued ribs was tasty, too. Only thing I haven't cared for is the pizza. Ordered plain cheese; price was great, but sauce had a strange flavor that put me off eating much of it. Will definitely be back, just not for pizza.

Ordered from here the other night and it took forever. After waiting, it was wrong. Upon taking my take out order home and calling to inform them of the error, I was told I was wrong and the cooks did not mess up my order. The two people I spoke to, one which was the owner, Scott, were VERY rude. Will never go here again and don't recommend it as there are too many other restaurants in the area to get good food and service from.

Hooooly moly. To say this place is slow is a vast understatement. When I walked in, I wasn't even pregnant. Now we're on our way to the hospital because I am in active labor. Presidential terms don't last this long. Cripes. But it's not the fault of the staff- there are simply not enough of them. A completely full house and one bartender? Terrible. Although, I must say...I asked the bus girl for silverware and she gave me this really put-out look and goes "I guess I can find some somewhere." I didn't realize that silverware was hard to come by in a restaurant. She basically acted like my request was extravagant. I guess most people eat with their fingers there? The food was ok once we got it. We didn't get everything we ordered, and had to ask for things several times. At one point I waited over 20 minutes for a drink...when she finally brought it out, she said "this one's on us, sorry about the wait." Awesome! Free drink!.....BUT.. then she charged us for it on the bill anyway. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect free drinks...but don't TELL me you're gonna give me a free drink and then charge me for it. Overall experience- 3 out of 10, would not recommend.

Bad service for the first time at the bar. Whitey is the man. Glad he came in to save the day

This is a great place to go to watch a game, hang out with friends, have a good meal, meet a Hawks, Bears or Sox player. And it's also family friendly. Great place to go.

I have been going here for the last three years and I have to say it is the best sports bar around here. It always has a good rowdy cheering and singing lol to all the games. Also it is always fun to do their raffles for jerseys. I would recommend this place to any sports fan wanting to watch a game. Also tons of flat screens.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. I've never had anything even remotely average. Everything has always been absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Home Run Ham Hoagie right along side the Italian Beef (best in the area). My boyfriend obsesses over their $1 sloppy joe special each Saturday. You start out with beverages in glasses that are bigger than your head and a basket of breadsticks, crackers and this yummy garlic-butter spread for dipping. The main dishes are huge portions of absolute deliciousness. I've never had their pizza so that's one thing I can't speak to. If I were forced to choose one thing to criticize about this place is that maybe the service could be a tad faster, otherwise I haven't a complaint. Everyone I've ever brought with me to this place adores it. I have family and friends that now make this a frequent dinner or lunch spot.

I don't always go to non smoking bars in Indiana, but when I do I prefer Bridges. So... non-smoking eh? Normally I'd forgo such an establishment because well, I likes me some smokin' when I'm havin' a beer and after some grubbage. I decided to go check it out anyway, I've been contemplating it a lot recently anyways, so I figured what the hell, not puffin' on a cancer stick while sippin' on cirrhosis juice won't kill me. As far as the dining and bar area goes it was very clean and inviting. The bar has a lot of bar stools, which is ok but it IS kind of a tight squeeze to actually sit in one since there's only a wee bit of room between them. Good for packin' customers, but bad for elbow room. Luckily I was there on a slower night and had an empty stool next to me. Bridges has a nice selection of beers, the standard big names like Coors, Bud and Miller etc. and a few different craft beers on draft. Of course they've got Three Floyds as well. Monday's Leinenkugel is on special for $3 a bottle BTW. As far as food is concerned - So far I've just had the Egg Salad Sandwich on Whole Wheat. Iwanted it on White, but the Blackhawks just scored so... she must've heard wh...t and took a guess. Good thing though, the wheat bread here daggone good! Heck, the whole sandwich was delicious, well mixed, just the right amount of mayo and relish and the egg... oh lordy, nice size, good chop and mix. (I like Egg Salad Sandwiches a lot). Meals come with a side, I picked Cole Slaw - good stuff, nothing spectacular, but enjoyable as a side item. Service was A-OK when I came. Got my food order in fast, beers refilled right away and the food came out fast too. One of the cooks came out to serve a customer at the bar and seemed like he was genuinely happy to be there and liked what he was doing. Always a good sign when the employees of a place are having a good time at work and engaging with their customers. Far as the crowd goes, it's the typical NWI working class guys and gals watching a game, havin' a beer and gettin' some grub. Atmosphere is relaxed and pretty casual. I'll be coming back, I saw someone get a steak sandwich that looked freakin' KILLER and it's on my 'gona eat it' list.

OMG the prices they now charge are INSANE... this is griffith indiana NOT DOWNTOWN FREAKING CHICAGO....$9.00 for a pitcher of Miller Lite? $3.00 for a pint? prices were high for this area before, but now they are just nuts....i will head on down the street to Lucille's and drink Amstel pints for $2.00 anyday before i pay this place another penny....im sure lots will follow.....another case of ripping off the public...ciao Bridges

This is my favorite place to go if I want a high school reunion that doesn't fall on a year that ends in 3 or 8... the food is decent bar cuisine and it's pretty much all we have in Griffith so I can't complain. Well, that and the 8 lane bowling alley... good times, good times...

I usually like this place after today you couldn't pay me enough to go back. Was told to seat ourselves, so we did. A waitress came by and said she would let a server know we where there. 10 minutes later, she shows back up with menus and tells us our server is on the way. When the server didn't show up we asked if she could take our order? She said nope, I got my own tables. Waiter finally comes over. Ask us for our drink order 7 minutes later finally show's up with, our 2 waters, chocolate milk, and lemonade. We decide to place a wing order, and my 5 year old's dinner menu item. As we try and decide what to order, we ask again if someone else can take our order. Again, no. Our server finally comes over and tells us the fries are taking a long time. I'm sure it can't be any longer than what he's taking. We order a pizza, sandwich, and wrap. We've now been in the restaurant 45 minutes and only have our drinks! Finally at 53 minutes our wing's and mini corn dog's show up. My daughter's mini corn dog's are burnt and she's refusing to eat them. My husband's wing's look like they could be on the cover of a cooking magazine, mine and my other daughter's looks like they could be on a page for what not to serve. Our's looked like the day before's rejects! They didn't taste much better either, they had absolutely no Parmesan on them. Sad, because the Garlic Parmesan Wing's were my favorite thing on the menu! My daughter said my homemade one's were way better. At this point we were starving so it didn't matter. Finally, 10 minutes after the wing's the rest of our food came. My daughter's Chicken, Bacon, Avocado Wrap {Awesome}, My husband's medium size pizza not cooked through all the way! My Chicken Sandwich~ reminded me of the commercial from year's ago.~ where's the beef? I could have asked the same question~ except "Where's the chicken? ". My daughter's fries under cooked, mine over cooked. Asked for a box and the check, another wait. When the first lady came by to say she was sorry for not taking our order and asked how are food was. We were honest... She said the management already talked to the new cook about it and she would mention it again. Never once was it mentioned that she would get the manager for us or perhaps remove the item from our bill. Well I hope you come back and give us another chance!! At this point~ I'm thinking she's not listening to us OR she must have been hit in the head recently! We finally hunt down our server, and tell him about the uncooked pizza. Again thanks I'll tell the management. Never, I'm sorry or let me get the manager. The thing is it was a Tuesday night after Griffith's Baseball game, they were a little busy but not packed. The service and the food sucked royally! My family won't be returning, which is sad because we had many fine memories there. With the lack of service, food, and management I'm surprised their still open. It must be because of the owner's that people return.
