Love their pizza, the drink prices, the, um, eclectic clientele.. only taking off a star because of the smoke. Amazing dive bar in old Greenwood!

Can't give it zero stars can't breath due to smoke and yes it's 2015. If you allow smoking at least get air freshener the smell is so rank.

Well not the best experience- walked into the front door greeted by cigarette smoke and a drunken customer falling off of his barstool yelling. My husband and I had been wanting to stop by this place for a while but we were just disappointed. We left without even buying a drink. Like my husband said- this would be a great place for Bar Rescue!

Fast service, quiet and respectful local crowd.. Live music on Saturday nights.. Great atmosphere!

Jukebox? Check. A bunch of TVs? Check. Pool table? Check. Live music? Check. Giant chalices of beer? Double check. Yup, you can smoke in this bar. I'm not a smoker but as long as someone isn't blowing it right in my face it's not a bother. They actually have good music here, too, if you're not too picky about genre. I can't speak to the pizza because I've never tried it. Patrons are interesting but friendly. On Easter I fell in with a group that was passing out candy. Not too expensive, plenty of nearby street parking, and fun to hang out here.

The growlers are ginormous! The customers that go here are kinda sketchy. Go here if you want a lot of cheap beer and aren't afraid of getting hit on by someone with 3 teeth.

They advertised as a great place to watch the US world cup game. However, 80s rock playing through the pre game and it seemed like they were not really ready to be a destination for a big game. If you are going to advertise on the radio that you are celebrating the big game, put a little effort in to it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though and it really did not get better. The beer was lukewarm, the tenderloin was heavily over cooked, the fries were ok, but everything was sticky, chairs, tables, everything. They chilled the glasses, which i am sure is the only reason the beer was not any warmer. The bartenders were nice though, service was good, even though no servers on duty during an event they advertised heavily, so you had to go to the bar for orders. But the bartender, even though overworked, still did a great job and our food made it out of the kitchen quickly, for what it was. I was not expecting great food, just bar food, but the tenderloin was just DEEP fried and barely edible. We left at half time. Beer selection was some good local breweries such as sunking, fountain square and a couple others. So maybe they had a general cooling problem, because the entire place was hit, but the beer was way too warm. If you like cigarette smoke, lots of it, warm beer, dirty tables with burn holes that resemble your old cafeteria table, sticky chairs, basically a dive bar, then write a 5 star review of the blind pig. But if you were going there because it was advertised as a great place to watch a big game, don't expect it to be anything special. You are better off trying someplace else. I hope they make some improvements and it turns in to a great place on the southside, I hope I have a good reason to write a better review in the future.

"We heard you have good pizza." "I make the dough fresh every morning." We ordered. We ate. We have now found our ultimate favorite bar pizza. I mean this pizza is damn good. We've ordered the pan style and the thin crust style and I really don't know which I like better. The pan style pizza edges were crispy - just like the edges of a Workingman's Friend burger. The sauce is great, the meats & veggies offered are plentiful and the topping cheese layer is thick. Really, really thick. The only thing that's disappointing is the canned mushrooms. But, hey, I just won't order mushrooms next time. Problem solved. Blind Pig is classified as a sports bar but I didn't get that vibe. They do have 2 pool tables and a punching bag machine. I guess that's sporty. The place is kinda tacky & scroungy but I wouldn't say it's dirty. Except for all of the cigarette smoke. There's one large room and then a U-shaped bar that wraps into 2 other bar areas. The large room hosts karaoke on Thursdays and Texas Hold'em & euchre on other week nights. And, I think they get some live bands, too. We watched karoke on a Thursday and I thought the dj was pretty good but it just didn't seem to be a very lively karaoke crowd that night. We've only sat at the bar and the other people at the bar and the bartenders have all been friendly. The bar has your regular domestic beer on tap and in bottles. On tap they offer 3 different sizes of beer mugs - Big, Enormous & Bad-Ass. The mixed drinks seem to be fairly strong and decently priced. I really don't care for bars this smoky but the pizza will definitely keep me coming back.

The drinks are really cheap. The patrons are really drunk. Every single person in the place smokes (it's Johnson County -- it's allowed). It's so deliciously divey, I might go back to try the pizza.
