First off I am by no means a picky person. And I feel this place has potential, But I do have several complaints. Twice I ordered the burger medium and both times it was dry. Two other times I ordered it medium rare and it was overly pink. I've been here over eight times and every single time my waiter or waitress acts like they don't want to be there. One time my girlfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas ,they were so bad that they had to take them back and refund my money. Somehow my waitress mistook a Sun King Weemac for a blue moon. Other than that I have no problems with the food I like the wings and fried pickles. They have a very loud atmosphere which I don't mind but some people might. They have good drink and food deals weekly. They need to improve on their service and they might want to think about replacing their burger cook. However I will still eat here. I'd recommend trying it at least once but be cautious about ordering a burger.

We were looking for something different for lunch and decided on the pickle. My first opinion was nice. They have a family time and a time for 21 and over which is very nice! I noticed that it was very dark inside and hard to rad the menu. My husband ordered the hot ranch burger and I ordered teriyaki wings. His burger was very good, not very hot though. The wings were so so. They were soggy and the sauce was ok. Our son had the Mac and cheese bites which he loved! The server was very friendly, bit slow to refill drinks. She also rang our sons meal as an appetizer instead of the kids meal. Overall it was ok.

Bad Service..Bad Food....Second trip here....last trip . Place was half full, waitress was not good. Brought out appetizer plates, that had chucks of food still on them. Took forever to get out our entrees and then they were cold. She knocked the onion rings off the plate. She did not say a word until we asked if 2 onion rings was all that we got. She laughed and said she would get another order. 45 minutes later, after we had to call a manager over. She finally brings them out. COLD. Could not get a single drink refill. Manager did comp us, but it was a little to late. My 15 year old did not want to go in the first place as her friends say the place is gross. Guess what the 15 year old is right. Shame on you Gary Brackett, your place is horrible. Table next to us returned their food and walked out.

Had high hopes for a decent sports bar in Center Grove. Pickle fills that. Decent food but tables far too crowded and marginal service. Been here four times and consistently underwhelmed. Still, it fills a need and there is little competition in this niche. I am hoping the marginal execution improves over time. Also, good luck with the app. Tried to load it but never could scan coupon code. Asked waitress and she blew me off.

I went here to celebrate a few birthdays with my friends and we had a great girls night. Good drink specials and I had the wings and pickles and thought it was great. It is bar food and a bar atmosphere. We had an awesome waiter, Derrick, who was always attentive to us and got our food and drinks very quickly. I know they had some issues in the beginning, as I have read on here, but new places need to be given a chance to work through the kinks. We will go back!

I have been to the Stacked Pickle Greenwood location four times, they are hitting at about 25%. The first time I went with my wife and sister-in-law and we sat at the bar. The bartenders are less than attentive. We did get our drinks and ordered food. We ordered the appetizer sampler which came out without two of the items that were supposed to be on it. When we mentioned this to the bartender, we were informed that they were out of those items. She told us that she would happily bring us something different and she did. When our food came out, my sister-in-law's order was incorrect. I told the bartender and we were once again informed that they were out of what she ordered. I asked why she didn't bother to tell us this when I ordered and she walked away. Our empty glasses sat in front of us for about ten minutes until the bartender returned with our tab and gave us the , "You can just pay me when you're ready." We weren't even done eating! My wife and I decided this was a one off thing and that things would get better as this "new" location got in to it's groove. We went back with our son about two months later and received similar treatment. There is a big sign on the wall that says they have the best tenderloins in Indy, but I assure you that you can go right down the street to Oaken Barrel or Shallo's and get a MUCH better tenderloin. On this second vista, we were also given the cold shoulder by our server on a pretty slow night. She dropped off drinks, dropped off food, then disappeared. She spent most of her night at the hostess stand chatting with the boys and texting on her phone. When the manager came to see if everything was OK, I expressed my frustration and she comped our meals and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. This brings us to our third visit. OUTSTANDING! Finally Stacked Pickle delivers! It was a very crowded night and our server was phenomenal. No one at the table ever had an empty glass, the food was prompt, hot, and delicious. I found the manager I spoke to last time and let her know that it has finally come around. A few weeks ago, thinking Stacked Pickle had redeemed itself, my wife and I decided to stop in for a few drinks. Back to the same old stuff. My wife ordered her drink and the bartender immediately told her she didn't want that, she wanted something else and presented her with this other drink. He told me I should try an apple flavored beer. I told him I didn't like fruit beer and this 25 year old kid proceeded to inform me that I would grow up some day. I responded that yes, maybe some day I will and then I can have a faux-hawk and work at Stacked Pickle too! When my food came out wrong, I informed the "grown-up" bartender and he asked if I was sure I "didn't order that?" I told him I wasn't and I think he could sense my frustration, because he began to tell me all about his military career and MMA training. I felt as though he was threatening me. We paid our tab and left. 1 out of 4 visits were absolutely horrible. No more chances Stacked Pickle. One disgruntled customer tells ten people, ten happy customers tell one.

Very happy with this place. The small salad is really substantial. The tenderloin rocks.

Hit this place up around 12 for some lunch with a buddy of mine. First time at the pickle I knew about them just never had an urge. Place is typical sports bar, pub food, as everyone has noted it's slightly loud, didn't bother me, maybe I'm deaf, probably 10-12 TV's playing stage for bands as well. Jerkyboy got the turkey burger, I got the patty melt, a dozen maybe more brews on tap some local, $4 call beers I went with a mashcraft. No complaints. Burgers were good, beer was cold, why I didn't go with the fried pickles I'm not sure. You would think at a pickle place. Dropped a little over $25 for 2 burgers/fries and 2 beers. Was it worth $25? It's a push.

We love this place and have there many times. But finally ordered the Mac and cheese--don't do it!! Didn't think twice when ordering the Mac and cheese as a side, thought it would be homemade or at least Stouffer's. Well it was a major disappointment!! I'm not even sure that it was Kraft. Definitely not what I expected.

First, great burgers. The core menu is burgers with elaborate toppings. Last visit I got the Mobster which has bacon, mushrooms, onion, and swiss cheese. It's a great burger with great toppings - tasty cheese, good mushrooms, and a decent bun. They've got a choice of 8 sides ranging from french fries to fried pickles to mandarin oranges. It's rare to have so many choices, but I always get fried pickles because who offers fried pickles as a side? They've got a bunch of other choices on the menu, but I haven't tried them - pasta, fish and chips, pizza, other sandwiches. Big menu. Beer selection is better than most with 14 taps ranging from bud, miller, coors to Bell's Two Hearted and a few regional micros. I ignored the $5 pitcher and had pints of Bell's. So, why only three stars? Service is marginal. Servers are friendly and there are plenty of them, so it's not a server problem, but the overall experience is too slow. It seems to be a kitchen issue? My most recent visit was 90 minutes for a burger, side, and two beers with a moderate size group when the place was less than half full. I would expect to get in and out in an hour with no apps and no dessert. Every time I've been it's slower than I would expect, but I will go back. The other issue is noise. It's a *loud* sports bar even on a slow night with no exciting games happening the acoustics of the place are not good. It's acceptable to me, but some people I hang out with don't want to go back because they feel it's too hard to talk to others are the same table. The atmosphere is sports bar with countless TVs and memorabilia on the walls. The floor is concrete and the ceiling is exposed mechanical painted black. I love the burgers and I will go back but I can't go over three stars based.

I see there are quite a few bad reviews for this restaurant. I've been there three times and I've never had a problem. It's often very busy when I go, but I've always been able to get seated immediately. I think the food is decent and the staff has always been extremely friendly. As a matter of fact, a few of the times I have been there, one of the managers has come to the table to make sure everything is okay. I can only surmise that one doesn't go there for a warm and comfortable/cosy atmosphere - especially to have an intimate conversation with somebody. The tables are too close together, but it seems like that's the case with most restaurants anymore. It is very loud in there, but it's considered a sports bar, and there are TVs everywhere. I guess you get what you get. The main thing I go there for is the food, and it is better than most of the restaurants I have been to lately. I liked the fried pickles, onion rings, french fries and the pork tenderloin and buffalo chicken sandwich.

Uber exuberant hostess at greeting complete with a high five, cute! This is our second time around. Atmosphere was high energy this time due to the game on all the screens tonight. Can't wait to sit down and eat some great bar food.

I'm in from out of town and my favorite thing is going to new non-chain places. I had just ate so I only partook in the drinks. The beer selection was large and what I did see of a friends meal tells me I'd love the food too. I'll be back when I'm back in town!

After living in South Texas for most of my life, I've had some delicious homemade salsa. Once I moved to the Midwest, I realized I was never again going to taste anything like it again....including all the Mexican restaurants I've tried. But my wife and I ordered chips & salsa the other night and I was happily reminded of home again. Their salsa is the closest thing I've had to authentic salsa since I left El Paso......and the rest of our food was good too, the service was great. We sat at the bar rail and the bartender was friendly and fast!

Not good. I got a glass of ice water & it was seriously the NASTIEST water I have ever had. If you told me they scooped it out of the toilet I would believe you. Asked for a lemonade to replace it and it was watery. The fried pickles are alright, sort of bland but I like how thick they were. My chicken philly was okay, nothing I couldn't make at home. My sister said her veggie patty was spongy. They had hockey on one of the screens so at least there was that.

Good food and drinks with nice bar area. Would love a little more variety on the menu, but very comfortable and a friendly atmosphere. Nice place to stop after work on the way home.

Not bad, but not incredible. Service is decent, food is okay--standard fare for bar food. Overall I was more impressed with the location near IUPUI than this one. For a chain bar, I'd rather make the trek to Buffalo Wild Wings or for non-chain head further south to Louie's.

This new SP location opened 2 weeks ago. Needless to say they are working on improvements. I was definitely impressed with the ambiance - the 96th St location was super dark inside the 1 time I went there (despite being at night). Our server was great- she knew everything about the menu and kept up with us despite having every table full. I'm not sure if the floor was purposefully slick all over or just from rain but was a definite hazard that could've been prevented. Fried pickles were ok- my mom noted they didn't have a lot of "friedness" to them. Fish tacos- delicious and well-seasoned, loved the salsa that came with. Ceasar salad came on the side was good, a little confused why it didn't have its own bowl (I'm not a fan of hot/cold items touching) Mom's BBQ burger- she asked for Medium well and it came out Medium rare. Server took no time in taking it back, apologizing and getting it back in the grill. Manager was the one who brought it out and apologized to my mom, noting they were working with the line cook to get it right. She ordered onion rings but got fries after they took her plate back- something didn't taste right with them to me. It was beer batter, but not what I'm used to. And they were a little undercooked. I'll definitely come back after some time to give them time to work out the kinks.

I was a frequent diner at the downtown pickle, so I was ecstatic at getting one in Greenwood. I've been there 3 times now (with different people each time) and they were all great experiences. Great food (never had a bad meal at either location) and the servers were great. We even had other servers come up and talk to us. My only gripe is the tables are a bit too close together and there is no baby changing station in the men's room. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but I met my mom there with my son and had to have her change him. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the Greenwood pickle to anyone. Make sure to go Monday after 4pm for $5 burgers!

Friendliest bar staff on the southside. Bar manager also very welcoming. Great place to watch IU sports.

Not family or customer friendly. We were regulars...frequented the business at least twice a week sometimes three. Most businesses that you frequent are willing to accommodate you at least a little bit (if it does not inconvenience other customers). But, the bartenders become rude if your not immediately benefiting them in someway (tips). We tipped generously in past visits. Long story short.... We walked in on a Sunday afternoon, the place was virtually empty (couple people at the bar). Since we were with our 18 year old daughter we asked the bartender if she would put a football game on 1 of the 7 TV's in the bar (so we could see it from our table in the family dining area) fully intending to sit at the bar in about 30 minutes after we finished lunch. The bartender rudely said "We'll see, you are not sitting in my section" and spun around and walked away. Well neither was anybody else at that time. What happened to customer service or even just being a little bit personable. Really?? You're going to treat customers that way. I'll spend my $$ at local businesses that are genuinely friendly as opposed to a wait staff that just tolerates me to get a good tip.

Oh, I can't begin to describe my excitement for having a new bar in Greenwood open past 11. Once we saw the signs for the Stacked Pickle up, we were giddy and excited to finally expand our non-chain dining options in Greenwood. As such, we hit the Pickle on its opening day. I was impressed with the service - the wait staff seemed like old pros, not fresh on the job. The timing of the food was a bit odd - we received our entrees only a minute or two after our app, but I'm sure those kinks will get worked out. One of the best perks? A large 21+ bar seating area that has full food service. Good for couples and to avoid the family areas (if that's your preferences). Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game or two or three. Pretty good menu, what you'd expect from a sports bar. Only complaint is there's not many vegetarian or even pescatarian options.

I was disappointed. Cheeseburger was nothing to write home about. Pickles were ok. My brother in law didn't get many fries with his meal (not even a handful). And my sister's shrimp did not have much flavor and were small (more like salad shrimp). Would not go back if I was hungry for a meal. However, the drink specials were decent (good prices for beer). So, I would go back to sit in the bar to watch a game and have a few drinks.

Food was just ok. Both my friend and I had the Philly. Although the menu said it came with mushrooms I couldn't find a single one. The meat was tough and overcooked and reminded me of a Steak um. Our waitress was not knowledgable at all and seemed annoyed at the slightest question. She also couldn't hear us over the extremely loud music and we are not soft speakers. For almost $6 I got the smallest margarita I have ever seen in my life. Pretty much a shot of margarita filled with ice. Not worth it at all. Doubt we'll go back. Too bad.

If you go here, get a burger. Really, really good juicy burgers! But everything else we had was ok. Typical pub food, nothing spectacular. We had a great server. The downside is they PACK you in (to the point that you feel like you're nearly sitting on the people next to you). Very loud, lots of tvs, so if you're looking for a loud place to go for a game, this is the spot to be.

I went to Stacked Pickle for lunch on St. Pattys day. I ordered the fish tacos which were very good, only complaint is they need to grill a little longer. The staff were very friendly, shaking my hand and introducing themselves. The place is rather small but they have a lot of TVs, a bonus. A friend ordered wings and soup, I tried the wings which were tasty. Another plus is Sun King on draft both Wee Mac and Cream Ale.

Good food and good prices. Daily specials too. Went there on a Saturday and they have a burger and wing combo for $9.49. It also came with fries. Soooo much food! Lots of TVs for sports as well. Make sure to download their app for special coupons too!!

I have been to this location a few times now and while each visit was not unpleasant, it was also not worth the money and not top notch. My most recent visit prompted me to write this review. I have had several different items on the menu. On this visit, I was not terribly hungry so I ordered the firecracker shrimp appetizer which are described as "Fresh hand breaded shrimp, tossed in a house recipe spicy aioli, drizzled with Sriracha and served with chipotle ranch for dipping. 7.99" What I got was tiny salad sized shrimp which were not breaded AT ALL and were cooked to the point of rubber. The spicy aioli was mayo mixed with way too much Sriracha. It was all heat and no flavor. It is clearly trying to be an imitation of Bang Bang Shrimp and is not even close. I was very disappointed. The waitress was adequate, but not good really. It was busy but she was fairly inattentive. The place is so loud, it is difficult to have a conversation at the table. I do not think I will be back.

First off--I know this place opened recently and I was trying to be lenient with my review but after thinking about all the things that went wrong--I was seriously unimpressed. First thing, I come in around 7:00 on a Saturday evening, so obviously its going to be busy. Not an issue. I waited in front of the hostess stand while some party of eight blocked the stand and the hostess did nothing to try and move them around. There is definitely NO room for guest to wait comfortably--first issue. After waiting about 10 minutes for the folks to move, I finally spoke to a hostess and was seated. She was friendly, so no points there. I was meeting my parents there for drinks and dinner for my mother's 60th birthday. I mentioned this to the server before they arrived thinking they might at least say happy birthday to her (my mother loves stuff like that, I don't get it...but she does) but nope. Nothing. I ordered a beer, which was fine, but I didn't get any water or silverware until after we had ordered our appetizer AND it had been delivered to the table. So while our fried pickles sit there getting cold, we wait for utensils... By the time we got to eat our pickles they were greasy. Something was not cooked right about them. They were soggy, greasy, and generally gross. I have had pickles fried before and maybe the fryer wasn't hot enough or they had been sitting in the heat lamp for too long, but it was not up to my standards (which were pretty low considering its bar food) My mom and I both ordered burgers, my dad ordered the fish tacos. Here is where the real problems start... The server asked how we'd like our burgers cooked and I said medium rare, my mom said medium. What was brought out to us was two well-done patties with NO mustard, mayo, or ketchup on the table. I had asked for ranch with my fries and that wasn't on my plate either. My mother asked for the sauces and the waitress came back to our table twice before she came back with the right items. So, my burger is getting more and more cooked and cold as it sits there...not so great. My dad's meal was the most disgusting thing I have ever tried. My family likes to steal food off one another's plates, and I didn't even want to try his food. The tortillas were cold and stale, not even toasted, there was no lettuce, and the fish was watery and not cooked right. The mango salsa on it was watery and overly sweet, also EXTREMELY cold. Nothing too cold should be put onto a hot plate of food...or at least serve it on the side so people can chill their own meal. And boy it was COLD! The grossest part was when my dad went to take a bite out of it and all this liquid and unmelted cheese came out the bottom. My dad is a big dude, and its VERY unlike him to not finish his plate--he didn't finish these. Probably for the best. We didn't say anything while we were there because of how long everything else was taking. At this point we just wanted to get out of there. I don't forsee this place staying open as a viable restaurant--maybe for beer and the food might be up to snuff for extremely intoxicated people, but for my family and my friends, we will stay far far away.

I so wanted this to be a great new sports bar but it was really just average. I hate when I order an appetizer and they bring it out and 15 seconds later they are bringing out the rest of your food. The tables are too close together and it seemed to be extremely loud. I will go back to sit at the bar and drink but I won't be taking my family in for dinner.

  • S L.

Food is ok. They could use a few more healthy options. My main complaint is that it is SO loud! It is difficult to carry on a conversation. I've been here twice and both times it was too loud, even without the place being full. I will avoid this place just because of the noise level. Also, the tables are so crammed in that it is a challenge to walk across the room. Servers are super friendly. No complaints there.
