Had brunch here on Sunday, 2/8/2015. Food was very good and what I have grown to expect from Bob Evans. The service was outstanding! Server was Anita W. At the same time, they had far too many staff on today. They were literally in each other's way behind the counter.

Good food, prompt service, but if you ever call in an order and want dessert, have the manager double check that they still have some left.

Took my grandmother out for lunch, and had the bacon, sausage, and unlimited hot chocolate. The service was a little slow, but the food was pretty good.

We've eaten three meals there the last few days as it's right next to our motel. My wife and I had breakfast there. It was ok but it was the wrong breakfast; BE has a new menu and has done away with my three eggs and meat breakfast (which wasn't on the menu anyway but was available). Also they don't leave silverware on the table and it took some time after our food got there for our silverware to arrive. Then my wife had breakfast there again while I tried White Castle's breakfast sliders (ok, not great). Her breakfast was good and silverware was not a problem. Tonight we had dinner; a grilled cheese sandwich for her and pot roast for me. The pot roast was decent not great but the grilled cheese was well down on her grilled cheese sandwich scale. AND the waiting-for-the-silverware-while-the-food-got-cold problem arose again. Then checking out was slow due to computer problems. We've been to many BE's and often enjoyed them but between the menu change and the service problems this was not enjoyable.

Bob Evans is typically one of my favorite places to eat. Not this location! Although the food was OK I found the service lacking. There was a manager type person sitting on the counter chatting with the hostess for an extended period time, a cook joined in for awhile too, all during a time when the waitress was running around restocking all the tables by herself well neglecting me. I ordered coffee with my meal. I waited literally 17 minutes after I finished my first cup for a waiter for the waitress to stop by my table. And then she acted surprised that I wanted a second cup of coffee. Food was ok. Ice cream for dessert was nice. My recommendation go down the road to the next Bob Evans.

The only reason they are getting 1 star is because Sarah, the waitress was great and our previous times here have been great. However, the manager is a scared 5 year old boy trapped in a middle-aged man's body. We came in as a family of 10(we have family out of town so we were treating them to what we thought was going to be a great meal.) It took over an hour to get our food.(my burger alone sat on the warming light for at least 30 minutes..I sat staring at it.) It was cold, not right, and the vegetables were nuked in the microwave. This was the 4th of July, but that is no excuse for terrible wait time and food. Sarah kept apologizing for the wait time and she seemed frustrated as well. The manager was aware of the situation. Did not offer any discounts for the waitress to give us and hid in his office until we left. So we paid $100 for cold, crummy food that a bologna sandwich on stale bread would have put to shame. Will I eat here again? Probably not and we frequent this place quite a bit. If we go to another Bob Evans, it will be a different location under a different manager. I refuse to let this chicken of a man get any more of my business.

The floor has not been swept in what appears to be weeks. While waiting forever for our food we were dive bombed attacked by several small flying insects. Nearly every table has yet to be cleaned off. I'll be lucky if I am able to stomach my food once it finally arrives. Bob would be turning over in his grave if he saw the mess that is this bob Evans.

I haven't visited this location since April 2014 and I now remember why. The service was terrible!!! We arrived around 7pm on July 4 to find 3 servers and 1 manager. When we arrived there weren't too many other people in the restaurant so we thought for sure that we would get in and out pretty quickly and on our way to the fireworks show downtown. This, sadly, was not the case. The assistant manager stopped by the table and took our drink order. It's Bob Evans so it's not like there is a lot to chose from. He brought our drinks back and said he would send our server right over. Well, that did not happen. I kept watching as all 3 of them stood behind the counter. I could not see what they were actually doing...so I am going to go with they weren't doing anything. After maybe a 5-7 minute wait a girl comes by to take our order. Before we can even start she tells us that she doesn't have a pen and walks away. A minute later a different guy comes to the table to take our order. By this time we had sat there so long that we knew exactly what we wanted. We started with their new cheese stick twists. I ordered the farmers choice breakfast because the French toast covered in strawberries looked amazing. My other half ordered the sunshine skillet. While we waited for our food to come out I noticed that the place was starting to get busier. I also noticed how many people were sitting around with not so happy looks on their faces waiting for their server to come back and take their order, bring their food, etc. It seemed to take an ungodly amount of time for our appetizer to arrive but when it did at least it was hot. I wasn't too impressed with the new ones. They have curves in them but are thinner than a standard mozzarella stick. They're also supposed to be a combination of mozzarella and asiago cheese...but tasted the same as everywhere else. An unusually long amount of time later the rest of our order finally came out...and boy was I disappointed. They have a new cheesy hash brown casserole that I tried and it tastes awful. It has a mushy texture to it and tastes nothing like hash browns or cheese. Honestly I can't even describe the taste. My scrambled eggs were a little on the runny side, but they weren't inedible. My bacon was over cooked and dried out. And my French toast had no strawberry topping like the pictured suggested that it would come. Now most people would just ask for the toppings, but when you don't see your server again for 15-20 minutes you just eat it. The gravy in the sunshine casserole was runny and did not look appealing at all. After we were done eating I noticed that more tables started to complain about the terrible service. One table actually had to walk up to the counter and ask their server to come to their table as he was just standing there. The assistant manager never left behind the counter, which I found incredibly odd for how quickly his restaurant was going downhill. When he finally did come out his response was "we are short staffed". NO! That is an excuse that I HATE hearing. I run a business and when we are busy and short handed we kick it into high gear and take care of our customers and keep them happy. We don't stand around doing nothing. Me, as the manager get out there with my staff and get things done. You, my friend have a busy establishment with an entire team just standing around. The final fun of the evening was when that original girl walked by our table and asked if we were waiting on our bill. Since our server was a douche and not doing anything else she brought it to us. When cashing out, the manager did that and not a single apology for how terrible the service was. I like Bob Evans, but I will not be back to this location...EVER. I'll give my money to a different location.
