Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

We ate here on 5/21/11, a Saturday night. It is a very popular spot in the area & got very busy about 8 p.m. The guacamole dip & margaritas were quite good. The entrees were traditional Mexican fare, but no surprises is sometimes nice. The food came out very quickly & the waiters were quite attentive. Greensburg is not huge, so this is probably a very good place to eat in the area.

There aren't a lot of choices in the "Burg," but El Reparo could still hold its own if it had competition. Whenever my husband and I spend the holidays with my fam you can be sure to find us at this restaurant. The service is off the charts and the portions are enormous! And who'd thought you get better Mexican food in Greensburg, IN than in So Cal? Well you can!

El Reparo is one of, if not, the best restaurant in Greensburg. Good food, amazing service, and low prices... what else do you want? Their menu is huge and has every combination of mexican food you could ever want. The lunch combos are great and the portions are appropriate. The best thing at El Reparo is the service. I don't remember ever having to wait on drinks, chips and salsa, or someone asking me how i was doing. These guys work hard for the money. The only real area for improvement is the bar area. While you can order any drink from a table... if you just want to sit at the bar with a few friends and throw back some margaritas there is only going to be room for about 8-10 people.

Great place to take the whole family. It won't break the bank and the food and service is wonderful.

Food is awesome. I have tried a few things and all the food was good. Salsa and chips are decent if you get spicy salsa and add some cheese dip for a little extra. It is very loud in the restaurant and I have had problems with waiters in the past taking a really long time to get our order, but all in all I would go there again. Bathrooms are decently clean for a mexican restaurant.

Food was good but the atmosphere was awful. Came into town from Virginia to visit family. A large group of golfers came in. They were drunk when they came in. They were rude, loud and obnoxious. Wait staff attempted to make them be quiet. They did not settle down. They should have been cut off but they weren't. We were overcharged and when we complained about the noise and rudeness all they said was there is nothing we can do. They should have been asked to leave!

I got the taco chicken salad very plain. Chicken was cold. Salsa was fair I thought it was just below average. Not 4 stars. I eat at a lot of mex food - sorry try a different spot on this one below average.

This place is good. It was clean and had good service. The salsa even had some kick to it, which was nice cause usually I have to throw some el yucateco into it. The bar set up was kinda strange though. It had a chain going around it which made it kinda difficult to get around.

Nice building. Service is bland. Chips are not fresh or hot and salsa lacks flavor. Had chimis and food was pretty good. Better than the average hole in the wall with decent prices.

I had a pork dish that I can't remember the full name. The name has the word "Laruka" or something similar. It was one of the best meals I have had in years. A business associate with me said the same.

Been to 100 Mexican restaurants in my life and El Reparo is in the top 25. Used to eat here often when I was doing clinicals in town. Cant beat beer, salsa, and chips but the food is not going to wow a seasoned veteran of Mexican cuisine, if not simply satisfy.

Visiting on business. Ate alone - 7pm on a thurs night. Family place - table of kids and people youg and old. A bit loud but interesting and would be fun with a group. Great friendly and fast service. Hearty corn tortia chips and tasty salsa to start. Choice of 12 22 or 32 oz XX on tap. I got the 22. Had camarones locos - spicy shrimp with onions, bell and chili peppers, tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms sautéed. Guacamole and sour cream on a bit of salad on the side. Delicious.

We've had El Reparo at a few different locations over the years.. this one matched up well.. They had a 6.99 fajita special on Monday. The chips were great, a little different flavor than other places I've had as of late... The food was good, the service was quick and the price fair.. ($30 for 4 people).. Will be back while in the area.

Found this place on Yelp while traveling from Indy to Cincy. It's not far off the interstate at all. We stopped in on a Saturday and it was actually pretty busy for lunch. It's decorated well for a Mexican restaurant in central Indiana. I was disappointed with the chips and salsa. The chips were defiantly out of a bag and I don't think they made the salsa fresh either. It was bland and no heat to it at all. There was no hot sauce on the table either. Our meals were flavorful and a good size. Service was good and prices were normal for Mexican in Indiana. I saw someone else say that the Mexican here was better than SoCal.....I don't know where they ate in SoCal, but it was the wrong place. SoCal Mexican is WAY better than this. We just got back from LA and San Diego last week so I know it was much better than this. I love Mexican food and eat a lot of it too. I would probably eat here again. It's much better than nearby chili's or McDonald's.

I love this place! The girls from work and I go to lunch here at least once a week. The workers know us and are very friendly. The food is great and you get plenty of it. I also like to eat here with my family. We always receive great service, even when its really busy. It's a fun place to be, with excellent food.
