While this wasn't my first visit to a Lincoln Square, it was my first visit to this location in Greenfield. I have a friend that lives in Greenfield, and we ran a 5k there that morning. So, post race, we were looking to refuel and Lincoln Square sounded right. We arrived about 10am on a Saturday and I was surprised that we were seated immediately. I guess I'm used to the Indy saturday brunch rush, which doesn't exist so much in a small town. After a detailed review of the menu, which I've seen before at a different location, we both decided on lunch instead of breakfast. I ordered the Clubhouse Grille and my friend ordered a local burger special with a fried egg and bacon (so he kind of got breakfast too). I chose an apple and fries as my sides while he went with fries and coleslaw. A few minutes later, the waitress returned with my sliced apple and a bowl of cottage cheese. Somehow the cottage cheese was confused for the cole slaw, so that had to be corrected. What seemed like a very short time later, our food arrived. My sandwich was exactly as described and above average. Literally no complaints from me, especially for under $15 with a drink and tip. My friends burger, on the other hand, was completely missing the egg. The egg was the point of that special burger (I believe it was called the power burger), so it was odd that the kitchen somehow forgot it. Nonetheless the waitress was pretty quick to get him an egg. He's not one to complain, but I'm sure the 5 minutes it took to cook that egg caused his burger to get cold. Overall, with the few service mishaps, I'd tend to lean toward 3 stars. But, the price was right and this was Greenfield, not Indianapolis, so I'm going to give it 4 stars on a market comparison basis. I'm sure I'll find myself there again seeing that I run in Greenfield pretty frequently.

Very rude manager named Lindsay. I ordered carryout and the grilled cheese I ordered was barely cooked at all. I asked for a refund. When I came back in, she was extremely rude to me and said it looked fine to her! She asked why I had eaten some pieces of fruit that came with it if I was asking for a refund! Uh, I probably ate those few pieces of fruit because I had no lunch thanks to the terrible food I received. I will not be back and will tell others how customers are treated when THEY make the mistake!!!

Where to start? The food is absolutely delicious. I have had numerous different things here. Everything from pancakes, to omelets, to a club sandwich. Everything is always served in a timely manner and freshly made. I have visited Lincoln Square maybe 20-30 times since they have opened and don't have anything bad to say. They do get extremely busy on the weekend mornings so you may have to wait for a table but its worth the wait!

The veggie omelet was to die for, and the homemade biscuits are a must have. We stopped here armored finding it on yelp when driving back to Wisconsin, and the food and service will make it a frequent stop for us when traveling. I highly recommend!

My family of five loves to come to the Greenfield Lincoln Square Pancake House to eat! The owner is present almost all the time, and he takes the time to greet everyone who comes in, and he is especially friendly to kids. The service from the waitresses is top notch - you can tell that the owner treats his employees with respect, for them to enjoy their jobs so much and to be so friendly to everyone. Bring your appetite, as the serving sizes are plenty large - bigger than IHOP, similar to Cracker Barrel. The pancakes are fluffy, sugary and sweet. The coffee is good - normal black coffee, but it isn't very strong if you're looking for something to really wake you up. Our kids love the pancakes and the bacon. This is a great restaurant to take your family to!

I will start by saying that the service was extraordinary because I'd like to start positive before complaining. The pancakes were too doughy and sweet. I asked for home fries and got hash browns (which are NOT the same), and the sausage links were bland and gross. Even though the hash browns weren't home fries, I gave them a chance and they were awful and mushy. The restaurant was clean and well decorated and the staff was friendly. But that "food." Yikes.

The food is mediocre. Most of the staff seem like they hate their life and don't seem to understand that they're working for a tip. The owner is pretty rude. I witnessed him several times seat people. He would throw their silverware on the table and walk away. The food is definitely not worth the awful service you have to go through to get it.

Very good food and great option for breakfast, lunch or even brunch! Potatoes were quite crispy and sizzling with flavor. The bacon was very good and very thick. French toast was moist with a nice crunch on it. I appreciated their healthy options including different oatmeals and veggie scrambles. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a sweet finishing touch to this scrumptious meal. Lincoln square would receive 5 stars but our waitress was very sour and not pleasant. We would've appreciated some courtesy but otherwise the service seemed to accommodate every costumer. Would go again.

Let me start by saying that the service was excellent and the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. I ordered a full order of biscuits and sausage gravy. Promptly delivered. I counted 6 tiny bits of sausage in the gravy!! Very disappointed with the food quality!!! On top of everything else, the price is ridiculous!! $10 including tip for a pepsi and B and G!! Not like the Greek owned restaurants in Northwest Indiana that I'm used to!

Love the variety of menu items. The staff are friendly, especially the manager who welcomes everyone. I love visiting during breakfast hours the most!

What a great place to eat and a great atmosphere. I frequent this location and 56th street. I love the food here and the prices are great. I especially like that the manager comes around to ask how everything was. It really makes me feel valued as a customer. This place has great food and great prices. A good place to bring your family.

This is a solid breakfast place a few minutes off the highway. The wife and I stopped on our cross country voyage and it hit the spot. I got the country lady, though when I ordered the country mans breakfast the waitress knew what I meant. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns and a country fries steak all smothered in gravy. While I wouldn't say this was the best gravy, it was a good cream gravy. Had it contained some bits of sausage, it probably would have been great. The wife got French toast and she said it was done well. I noticed that the scrambled eggs for all of our meals were done perfectly, which means nice large curds and not looking like they were made with some sort of powder. We ordered the kids Mickey pancake andy boy loved it. While he's two and probably not the best judge of food, it does mean something that he ate his meal rather than throwing it around. As I tasted his pancake, I thought it had a good flavor and a surprise touch of vanilla that did set it apart from your standard diner fare. In all, this place isn't a greasy spoon, it's a good breakfast joint with plenty of easy access parking in a downtown area of central Indiana. When you choose a spot with only 2 reviews in more suburban areas you are taking a roll of the dice and it came up a win for us this time.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this incredibly awesome restaurant! Everything here is so tasty. I even talked to the manager about having a sample platter so you could get one waffle, one pancake, one biscuit...so you get the idea. You just want a little taste of everything they offer. We do the next best thing, with six in our family we all order something different and share :) Their sausage gravy and biscuits is to die for! They have the best hash browns. Frying potatoes sometimes leads to mush, but they excel with just the right about of crisp, crunch outside and soft potatoes inside. The management is super friendly and makes a point of talking to the kids, not just the adults. They are so welcoming. I will go here again and again.
