Whenever I think of Mexican restaurants, I always think of this place.this place is a hidden gem in Greenfield. The inside is okay, but it's the food that is delicious. I always order Horchata as my drink (which I am hooked on) and one of two entrees: Nachos al Carbon (which comprises of pico, chicken, shrimp, beef strips, quest cheese, lettuce, and tortilla chips) or Taco Texana (a giant taco shell stuffed with shredded cheese, peppers, onions, chicken, shrimp, and beef strips that are made fajita style, topped with sour cream and lettuce) The service here has always been pretty good. Out of the 10 times that I have came here, only twice did we have a bad experience. (Waiter took too long, but he was new) (an order of nachos was not made correctly, but it was sent back and quickly remade with no issues) If you have time to kill, I highly recommend this place.

I have never given a bad review and when it comes to Mexican you can't go wrong really in my book. The food here is just not good. The staff is very nice and the service is quick but no go on the food. They were so nice I couldn't bring myself to say anything because the complaint would have been "it's just bad" and that felt unkind. So we paid for our meal and I left hungry. The salsa tasted and looked like a runny spaghetti sauce. Very flavorless and the chips weren't any better. Nothing good to say about the meal either.

We were passing through the Indianapolis area over Labor Day weekend craving Mexican food. We took a chance with the El Mariachi Mexican restaurant in Greenfield and what a surprise. I ordered the shrimp fajita's with jalapeños and it was delicious. We asked for a hotter salsa for the chips and I'm still sweating. Love this little whole in the wall. No tex mex here... Yummy!
