Absolutely amazing. Pizza is great and pasta is so good. The option to make your own pasta combinations give you a huge selection of flavor.

Hungry?? Check out Richards brick Oven pizza. Made to order. Relaxing and fun atmosphere. Appetizers are the best. Large beer and wine selection!

Ordered a custom pizza and it was baked to perfection. Loved the thin crust and the toppings were fresh. The service was prompt and the waiter gave us good advice on the cheese and sauce options.

This place could be so much! I'm not exactly sure what is not right... Ok, but ultimately pricey pizza for what you get. They have local beer on tap, but no buzz to stick around for a couple. Menu has few choices. I always go in with hope, but leave wondering what the something is that's missing. Worth a try though.

If you grew up in a small town like me, this place will make you feel right at home. The outside doesn't have very good curb appeal, but trust me it's worth the trip inside. Once inside you are greeted by friendly staff and a huge brick oven. It was pretty empty when we were there, but it was nice because you could see them cook the pizza in the huge oven. We started with the cheesy garlic pinwheels. One word.. HEAVEN! Seriously you have to get it if you make the trip to Richard's. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which was really good. I know you can't do much with spaghetti, but it was delicious. My boyfriend had the BBQ chicken pizza, which he also said was great. Overall, amazing and we will definitely be back to eat again!

Pretty good pizza, we had the one with chicken and blue cheese. I like the bubbly crust that comes out of their brick oven! We also had their artichoke dip, which was fine, but not outstanding, and a somewhat-overdressed Caesar salad. Service was really nice but we were also the only ones in the place at the time!

One of my favorites! The staff is great. The food is great. Fresh. Amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

If you are looking for a good locally owned Pizza shop, Richard's fits the bill. The pizza selection provides something for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I personally love the Greek pizza -- veggie friendly! The atmosphere is pretty unique, housed in an older gas station. We have tried their mixed alcoholic drinks before and have been dissapointed - stick with beer or wine (unless they get a new bartender!). For an appetizer -- try the Cheesy Garlic Pinwheels -- they are amazing!

Awesome pizza, and a really cool relaxed enviorment with a legit brick oven that takes up some serious space but adds to enviornment. They have a ton of differnt gourmet pizzas you can try from tame to I want to take my bowels on a roller coaster of pain. However, I went on a roller coaster of delicouness. The only downside is the pizza is a little pricey for Franklin, IN. Why isnt there 4.5 on here?

We went here on a torrential rainy evening. It was especially cozy inside. The waitress was very cheerful and helpful. The brick oven, in plain view, dominates the atmosphere, as it should be. The pizza was delicious. The dessert rolls are great. If you are in the mood for more fine dining you can try the adjoining Richard's Kitchen.

Awesome brick-oven gourmet pizza. It is in an old garage of some sort, but very nice.

This place is nestled in the heart of downtown Franklin, IN and the friendly owners/staff make you feel like you're part of the family. In fact, this was my 1st time and I was there for a family reunion. I am so glad we chose this place because there's something on the menu for everyone even if pizza isn't your thing, but if it is watch them cook it in the beautiful brick oven! Enjoy local beer on tap or do what we did and try the pomegranate martini. I'm already dreaming of my next customized pizza creation! Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.

This place is great, but loses a star for service. Small selection, but excellent local beer. Hawaiian pizza was amazing, I suggest adding pepperocini. Calzone was good, but too much bread and cheese, not enough fillings. The previously touted pinwheels lived up to their good name. Overall, great pizza place!

Ordered 4 pizzas, three of us finished before the 4th arrived. Soggy crust.

We ordered the Caesar salad and Greek pizza. Server was good. Food was very nice, as was atmosphere. Malbec was spicy and perfect with the meal. However, all ambiance was shifted (remember this was our daughter's get adulation meal with a party of six, five of which were from out of town), when the manager came over and encouraged us to "give up the table" as she had guests waiting. We had just ordered another round of drinks and were planning on ordering dessert. We left unhappy.

Went down to cover a fundraiser that was being there. All the food that was being ordered look good. So before I left I ordered a custom pizza and also a house salad to go. Got home and the pizza was amazing and the salad was great. It was the first time to eat an brick over cooked pizza. Just wish I lived closer this would be my favorite place to get a pizza.

On Friday, September 9, we called to inquire if we could get a table for seven people. We were informed that all tables were full at the time, but if we wanted to come over and wait we would be given a table as soon as possible. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we ordered drinks at the bar, and soon after were told that our table was ready. We were seated and our drinks were brought to our table. Our server came and took our salad order, brought salads and then he left to take care of other tables. My salad was missing the pepperoncini and the black olives weren't even visible, so I finally got the attention of a young lady there who, we were told, had just stopped in to see her boyfriend/husband (?) and they put her to work. I asked her to bring me the missing items and she stated she would let our server know. Others at our table also were missing these items. I waited for approximately 10 minutes and finally got the attention of another young gentleman who was not our server. For some reason we never saw our server once we got our salads. I asked the young gentleman if I could please speak to the manager, he went back to her office, and then returned to our table to inform me that she said she would come out when she has time. I replied "That is unacceptable!" I shall not reveal her name on this posting, however she never came out at all! During this entire time our server never came back to take our pizza order. When he finally did come back to take our order, which was long after everyone had finished their salad, we had to actually hold out our salad plates and ask him to take them. He stated that he was very busy and had six tables to take care of. Yes, the restaurant was busy that evening, but an occasional appearance at the table by our server would have made everyone a bit more satisfied. And if they were that busy, the manager should have been outside her office to help out, not sitting in her office not having a clue what was happening in the restaurant. We have been to this restaurant many times previously and a lot of our good friends go there on a regular basis. Unfortunately some of these friends were with us that evening and were equally not as happy with the evenings events. The service is never up to par at any time. I am hoping that perhaps the manager and servers will go through some additional training in customer server to make future customers satisfied with their dining experience, because we certainly were not. I wrote a letter to the owners of this establishment but have yet to receive any type of response from them.

I love the atmosphere- you can tell that a lot of effort went into making this a nice place to eat and spend time. I'm a fan of converted spaces- the big garage doors give this space some great character. The pizza was very good, fresh, and creative. Although I can go for cheaper, more traditional pizza more often, this is a good place when you want something different and nicer. The service was sub-par, though. The wait staff forgot to put in orders, forgot who ordered what, and called everyone at the table, aged 25 to 55 "sweetie" and "love." (This is a pet peeve of mine.) They were out of the first item I ordered, which was disappointing but shows that other people like the place too! And when they ran out of a key ingredient on one pizza at our table, instead of letting us know, they simply left it off without mentioning anything about it. Overall I'm a fan, but the service could use an upgrade.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
