Great job Yelpers!! You rarely if ever let me down!! Nice, clean, friendly, knowledgable staff, great for any occasion really. Not an overwhelming amount of food. But, so much attention to detail! I had the playboy roll on recommendation of the waitress and it was fired at the table side.... Just a perfect blend of tastes.... Just take your time eating this roll and you will know what I mean. We are so used to inhaling our foods.... Just do me a favor and turn the speed down to 1/3 and it will completely change your palates appreciation of this experience! I didn't give 5 stars because I came here hungry:) but, I will come back for a return evaluation!!

Came here for lunch with a big party and the server was great. Overall the staff was friendly and the venue was well kept. I ordered the Playboy roll because I noticed it was a popular one. Great presentation as it comes out on fire. Very yummy except I believe there was too much of the unagi sauce which really soaked into the roll and made it too sweet and overpowered the overall flavor of the roll. I also ordered the 'bulgoki' which I thought it would be similar to bulgogi, but the meat was very dry. There was a nice faint taste to it, but again the meat was dry and tough. Not going to judge the rest of the food though because everyone else in my party had some good looking food. A lot of items on the menu I found to be overpriced except for what's offered for lunch such as the bento boxes and rice bowls.

Food was good but pricey. We had a table of 8,and a server with 3 days experience.... She was then sat two more tables of more than four, our service declined from there..... I'll give her credit, she was trying, and good and nice and stuff, but just overwhelmed. The playboy roll was good, as was the beef something I had..... It's not the easiest to get to. There's better less expensive places close by, I'll be back if I have to..... And my wife says it's freezing inside.....

Playboy roll smoked table side. Mafia roll not too spicy. Blueberry vodka Martina was sweet but good. Truffles are awesome!! Jo was great.

First time here and it's amazing. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Great textures and the food was beautiful. Fun experience when our waitress Angela seared the sushi roll right at our table! We will definitely be back! Seriously best sushi in town!!

On a sub-zero winter in Fort Wayne, I stumbled upon this restaurant just off the exit by our hotel. I had a waitress who was very friendly and cooperative with me. The drinks were brought to my table in reasonable time and she did a remarkable job taking my order of three variations of sushi rolls. The three rolls were Playboy, Corona and Mafia. The Playboy was roasted well in tin foil and tasted like "it's getting five stars". The Corona is not bad, and the Mafia was the phenomenal spicy kick. The decorations and decor was just like living in an HGTV dining room. Will definitely come back there again.

Eh ok place. I came here w Co workers and both times I was not a fan. This last time I had the salmon salad and you could tell the greens were not fresh. Half of them were wilted and gross. I was thankful they took care of me but I don't want to come here again. Although my bad food experience, I did meet an amazing server. Her name was Emma and she has been the best server I have had in a really long time. Very happy and peppy that made my experience a little better. I really liked her.

  • Jing G.

I normally would order bento box but this time I wanted to try something new so I ordered Kalbi (short ribs) and my boyfriend ordered sushi combo c. My Kalbi was tasty. A little bit sweet but not greasy. But the sushi was just ok, not very impressive. And the sushi rice was kinda hard. Our server was very nice. And I love their hot green tea.

  • Laura M.

My family and I enjoyed our dinner very much. There were little things that could have made it better. For example, the Playboy roll would have been great had it not been sitting in a ton of very strong tasting teriyaki sauce. The crab Rangoon was the best I have ever had, though. Amy was one of the best servers we have had in Fort Wayne!

    (4)
  • Ben B.

Quite possibly the best sushi experience I've ever had. They stayed open late for us, the food was absolutely spectacular, our waitress was awesome and the sushi chef is a crazy good opera singer who literally sang for us by request and brought tears to my eyes. I wish I lived closer because I would come here on a weekly basis.

  • Mark P.

Went to lunch. Very very nice service. 3 stars just because of that. Food was terrible. Steamed broccoli and carrots? Tempura sauce was NOT tempura sauce. Hawaiian poke does not have mangos and sugar in it. I just moved from Hawaii, so don't fru fru something you know nothing about. The salmon looked red and I know damn well salmon is orange. The sake, where's the sake? CA sake and sho chi ku bai? And no shochu or shoju? This is a very very very Americanized place.

    (3)
  • Scott B.

Pretty darn good. Love the playboy roll

  • Jennifer M.

This was our third time here. The crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had. Service was attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing.

sat at the bar. got that entree i cant pronounce. ( dolsot bibimbap). crab rangoon. great. great saki selection. rue whiskey. im in heaven................

  • Cindi R.

Ordered the Crab Rangoons courtesy of Yelp for checking in. Very tasty. Great way to start the meal. My son had the Mongolian Beef. He said it was good but a bit shy on the meat. I had the Bulgoki. Never had this dish before but I expected the meat to be juicier. It was dry and not a lot of flavor. But that maybe how it is supposed to be. Probably if I saw this dish anywhere I would select something else. I did dip the meat in the left over sauce from the crab Rangoons which helped. My husband had the Jalapeño Pork & Veggie. He enjoyed his dish and yes it was spicy.

Great food! We got take out and it was quick and we got a lot of food for the price! Also redeemed the coupon for free wontons! Not fuss about the coupon! Would defiantly eat here again!

  • Carey I.

Got the Wasabi Pork Shumai and the egg rolls as appetizers, and both were great! The Shumai were insanely spicy though, not a tongue burn heat, but more of a sinus burn. My nose was running and tears were rolling down my face! The egg rolls were fantastic though, served with a sauce that reminds you of General Tso's. I got the Crunch Munch roll and he got the Caterpillar roll, we both like mine more, but his was still very good. Our only comment was that the eel in the Caterpillar was almost nonexistent. Still a great place, would definitely go again!

  • N D.

We had been here a few times a year ago and thought it was pretty good, but either we became Giants or the the sushi was miniaturized since the last visit. Special Rolls and the Sushi platter were tiny and not that great. The place was pretty empty for dinner, and the food was very slow to come out. Won't be back again. Not worth the prices.

  • Des C.

I would have done 3.5 stars, but as we all know that is not available on Yelp. I showed up early for dinner as the restaurant is in the parking lot of the hotel I'm staying in. What seems to be the owner was talking to the bartender and didn't even acknowledge my presence. The waitress came over promptly and took my drink and dinner order. Half way through the meal the bartender asked if I needed anything and got me a side of a spicy garlic paste he raved about....he was spot on. Food was good, service was good (great from the bartender that didn't even get the tip). Music selection was HORRIBLE! I would come back again if I stay in the same hotel.

Love! Playboy Roll is Amazing. Look forward to having sushi here when I'm in Indy. Happy to find one in Fort Wayne. I wish one would open in Southern Indiana.

  • D. M.

Three point five - I've only been here once however I think their specialty rolls deserve an honorable mention. I love that they use jalapeño to make things spicy and overall have some pretty creative choices. Last comment ... The staff was very friendly and the service prompt and attentive. Ok I went back and it was just as good. They were very excited to tell me the fresh deliveries for the day and each was delicious... They also have entrées but I stuck with the rolls, no regrets!

  • Holly M.

In town on business and staying across the parking lot at the Hilton, I decided to give Naked Tchopstix a shot. It did not disappoint! I had the dolsot bibimbap with fried tofu which was recommended to me by my very patient but attentive waitress Angela. I also had the crab rangoon. Both were delicious. I recommend this place and like it better than many of the Pan Asian restaurants I've tried back home in Los Angeles. I only wish I could have tried more of their menu! Great service from Angela as well!

    (5)
  • Korie N.

My favorite restaurant! The sushi is always phenomenal and the staff is great! They have the best Crab Rangoon I've ever had. I drive 50 minutes just to eat here sometimes more than once a week. Sit at the sushi bar and chat with JB, the best sushi chef around.

    (5)
  • Javan M.

Great place for sushi. The service was fantastic. The playboy roll was all they said and more. The crunch munch roll was fantastic as well. We even tried the ice cream balls. A different texture but good. Even had a small but decent wine list.

    (5)
  • Phoenix G.

Food was fantastic. My girlfriend got sushi, set B I believe which included 6 California rolls and 7...can't remember the name but each one of the 7 was a different meat. I got the general tso chicken, and we ordered Crab Rangoon with our free check in coupon here on Yelp. My girlfriend also ordered the miso soup which she did not like at all, surprisingly as she usually likes miso soup. The martini's were good. Only complaint, service was horrible BUT I will say I noticed the other servers were very attentive to their tables. We just got a bad server. She was very nice but she literally took nearly 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink orders. Then she didn't bring our appetizer out. I asked her about it when our food came, she didn't apologize, just said she would go get them. They were barely warm so they had obviously been done for a while. All that said, we would definitely return if in the area again, but would request a different server. Five stars on the food alone.

    (4)
  • Travis G.

The rolls here are excellent! My wife and I don't get to FW that often, but when we do we try to catch a meal here....you can't really beat the playboy roll. This last trip was probably the only time I've had something negative to say about any if their food items. We ordered the calamari, typically a favorite if mine, and what was brought out more closely resembled cheese sticks. They were WAY too fried-tasting.... But everything else was quite delicious!

    (4)
  • Dawn C.

This is one of the better choices in town if you aren't into BBQ or steaks. The pan fried noodles were great, and the chef stopped by my table to ask if I'd like a few fresh pink shrimp on top for free - it was very sweet. The best crab rangoon I've ever had.

    (4)
  • Rohma S.

The only sushi roll that even compares to the quality of Sakura is the playboy roll. Great mochi ice cream and bento boxes though!

    (4)
  • Steven C.

If you want to be ignored, come on in at the begining of lunch and sit at the bar. It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Octopus Salad - Amazingly delicious. Nicely marinated cephalapod lightly tossed in a light and tangy sauce. A great light bite for lunch. Dumplings - I normally go with fried but was expecting pan fried. They were dropped in the deep fryer which made the outside very chewy. Nice filling but stick to steamed on these.

  • Melissa A.

For a random sushi spot in the middle of nowhere... this was pretty good. They have a combo of korean and japanese food. Ambiance is nice. We had the crab rangoons (oily, but free with check-in), tempura udon (a little bland), bimbimbap (really good but a little spicy), Playboy Roll (flaming, a little too sweet, but good), and a spicy salmon roll (average). I'd come back if we ever go back to Fort Wayne, Indiana for another Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. ;)

    (3)
  • Steve A.

Beef ribs are excellent. I had the ribs with fried rice and vegetables. Everything was very good. The marinade for the ribs give it a sweet flavor that's not overpowering. They are cut thin for eating with chopsticks and are very, very tender. Even the fried rice was above the ordinary. For a chain this is very enjoyable. And BTW they don't deliver. Unless you're staying in the Hilton Garden Inn across the parking lot and ask nicely.

WORST SUSHI EVER!!! If it were possible to give this place negative stars, I would. It was so bad I had to write a review. 1. Shrimp Tempura was THE worst ever. I am not exaggerating. I lived in Japan for almost 10 years, so I know how it's supposed to be 2. Shrimp were over cooked, not fresh, rubbery texture and they were NOT clean! Had gross black waste vein in still #ugh 3. Huge portion of Lettuce was in the rolls, you heard me Lettuce, made with soggy seaweed and wilted lettuce covered in mayo sauce. #ugh 4. At this point I gave up on this pricey dish that was worst than McDonalds on a bad day and tried some miso soup. How do you mess miso soup up?! I dunno but they found a way, tasted like gross water #ugh I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

    (1)
  • Tiffany K.

This place was horrible! The food was so gross. It tasted like frozen Chinese food that you buy at Meijer. We actually had to send my daughters meal back because it was dripping with grease. The server was nice but very slow and never refilled my drink and would disappear for long periods of time. I hate even giving it the one star.

    (1)
  • Cam K.

Initially this place was pretty good when it first opened, however our latest experiences have left us waiting for quite a long time, and with the servers often forgetting our drink orders. If you're willing to sit there for awhile, the food should keep you entertained.

    (2)
  • Sarmad K.

My 2nd time at this place. The server was very nice. I think her name is Ema. The food is great. The mochi desert ice cream form different world. Try the green tea and chocolate.

    (5)
  • Alexandra T.

The worst bento box ever. Too much fried food. The tempura had a more onion ring like batter rather than light tempura batter. The wrap however was good and the pad Thai wasn't bad.

    (2)
  • Rob B.

They make their sushi rolls here HUGE! The flavor on these rolls are always up to par. I always look forward to coming here! They are super friendly and even make the cheater chop sticks for the kids to take home! Stop on by the next time you are in Fort Wayne.

    (5)
  • Ben M.

Good stuff. Sushi and Sashimi chef's selection.

    (4)
  • Koa M.

The rolls were ok. The chef who cooked my shrimp cocktail overcooked the shrimp. Tempura here was cooked perfectly. I think their specialty is the Korean food. My friend got one of the bulgogi dishes and it looked amazing. My server was a bit terse, didn't appreciate that. She didn't know the menu as much as I would have liked. I would only go back here if there were no other options to eat in Fort Wayne.

    (2)
  • Trevor S.

Poor, unprofessional service and abysmal food. Should not be called "sushi." Far too overpriced for the slop you are privileged to endure. Unsanitary practices, by my standards. I would never dine here again even if it were free. Mushy "crab rangoon."

    (1)
  • Joel C.

Great food. I would have given it 5 stars the first time I went, but this most recent time it was not as good. It was still very good and I recommend this place. Can't go wrong with all the different choices they offer.

    (4)
  • Michael D.

Somewhat awkward to get to. You will find it within the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn. The food is good. I have had the sushi and the noodles several times and have never been let down. The bar is also nice and is an excellent break in scenery from the inside of the HGI. Ambiance is nice. Bathrooms are clean and exceptional. II would certainly recommend this place.

  • Walter K.

Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere! Stayed at hotel across the lot. Enjoyed dinner with relaxing music and dim lit room. Was served by an excellent waitress named Kathy. I started with the edamame which was fresh and warm. I sipped a hot green tea while waiting for a naked Philly roll, a spicy California roll and their famous playboy roll. The playboy roll came to the table in foil and was lit on fire similar to saganaki (Greek flaming cheese). Once the flame burned down, the foil was removed and the roll was extremely delicious. It had many flavors leading to a slight bbq flavor. I finished the meal with chocolate and green tea Mochi. The meal was fit for two. They also have a favorable lunch menu. This would make an excellent date night choice.

  • Dayla R.

Only 1 check in here!?! I've been here a bunch and have tried many different maki, sashimi and nigiri options from the menue and haven't had one that I didn't like, so far so good! Presentation is always great, however the wasabi paste is on the mild side. The staff are always tentative but I've usually only gone for lunch or an early dinner so I have yet to see this place busy. Things that I've ordered here but won't order again are the Sake and Plum Wine, which I like both, but maybe my taste buds are changing. Plum Wine is sweet but seemed overly sweet.

Traveling back to Michigan and hit Yelp. Good reviews so I stopped. Excellent food and choices of Asian food. Hannah is the best most personal waitress.

  • Dale B.

Loved the sushi. The atmosphere was okay...nothing unique or special. The service was fine. The location is not easy to get to. Definitely worth a try.

  • Mike S.

We have been regulars here for as long as they have been open. Tonight was the last night we will dine at the restaurant. The last few times, the service has gone down hill but tonight it was the worst ever. Over the years the food has been consistently good, tonight was no exception. For the price of the food, the service should at least be better than sub par. We will still order carry out or use Waiter on the Way.

    (1)
  • Lizzie H.

Excellent! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had. The fire roll is. Amazing. And mochi ice cream is a must!

Very likable atmosphere with great Asian food and a variety of beers. The staff is excellent and goes all out to provide good service.

Love this place! I ordered general taos chicken and the playboy roll. The waitress who sat me and my wife at the sushi bar was very friendly along with the sushi chef. General taos was awesome and the playboy roll just simply amazing. If u ever visit this place, make sure to sit at the sushi bar because the chef is not only great but also very friendly person to converse with. I also love the music they had on. Listening to bob marley while enjoying my meal. My wife and I's favorite go to spot for sushi now.

GREEN LIGHT GO: Wow. there aren't that many great sushi places in Indiana and even MORE so in Ft. Wayne. They just opened a Naked Chopstix there after their Indy restaurant was a hit! I love the ambiance in this restaurant and the food is authentic japanese/korean as well. The sashimi is decent and I love the variety of choices at this restaurant. The food can be altered to fit your tastes -- (i.e. you can choose how spicy your dishes are). Also, I love that some of the entrees include some side dishes that add to your dish. I personally love their soondobu, playboy roll (it comes out on fire!!), dolset bibimbop, and love the bento boxes! RED LIGHT NO!: Nothing to report! Sometimes the service is slow and the servers aren't always the friendliest. But if you get a good server the food is great!

  • Brad C.

Surprisingly great food for such a random spot in Coventry center near Ft Wayne. I had the Bimbimbam or whatever the cook-your-own rice in a bowl dish is called. It was excellent with lots of good Asian flavors - pork, pickled veggies, etc - all from a steaming bowl. Fresh and delicious. Authentically Asain. Also have Kirin on tap, with Sapporo and Singha in cans/bottles. Strongly recommend this to anyone traveling from out of town staying at the comfort suites, holiday in express, Hampton inn, or the nearby best western. Holds up to quality Asain cuisine in more culturally significant regions. Weird name, quality food, new decor, friendly staff, full bar.

Great food here, and great for a large crowd. They aren't afraid of noise, and in fact, encourage the fun! On my birthday I always want sushi, but other places, like Asakusa for instance, actually want us to keep down the celebration. The last time we went here for a birthday party, we did a few sake bombs, and the waiters were a lot of fun, and everyone around us wanted to join in as well. They also have the ability to accommodate a large amount of people, unlike Takaoka and Asakusa. Their food is pretty good. I usually prefer more authentic Japanese, but nonetheless, it was still delicious. The price range was average for the food. The sushi is tasty, but again, seems to be very Americanized. In fact, I jokingly asked if they had a Big Mac or Whopper roll.. LOL... they do have a lot of stuff to choose from, so this is no big deal. This restaurant is a bit out of my way, but I still like to come here with groups of people. Good food and friendly atmosphere.

A pan asian respit in the midwest.....even though you'll be challenged to find it. I was in Ft. Wayne on biz and was looking for ethnic chow and some decent atmosphere. Recommended by Arren at Marriott Courtyard Downtown. Oddly referred to as "a hole in the wall". I found it to be a very nice, contemporary, upscale asian atmosphere. Female staff was VERY friendly and accomodating (cute too). I sat at the sushi bar. Was greeted with a delicate surimi/crab taste on the house. A small bottle of ulta premium chilled sake and nice tall blue moonand I was on my way. Next up was some sushi. Let me provide one caveat here. I live in Boston area, 15 minutes from the ocean. Enough said? Spicy hotate roll was very light on scallop. Couldn't really taste it thru the spicy sauce and trimmings. Ika negiri was fine, albeit skimpy too. Tobiko was the best part. Fresh and snappy (although I think it all comes frozen from China and is made under questionable conditions). So I had a nice sushi belly nevertheless. For my main course I had the dulsot bi bim bap. wish i remembered to order it with brown rice but is was prepared well. love how the stone bowl stays hot for an hour and crisps up the rice. All in all, I really like it and will return.

I used to really enjoy going to this place. The staff is friendly the food tasted good. And outwardly it looked so clean so imagine my shock when I found out they were closed for Cockroaches in the sushi. I will not be going back, it would be different if it were not found by health inspectors. Maybe they had a temporary problem and closed themselves to take care of it. But to be caught not having a sanitary restaurant says this could have been going on awhile. Unfortunate...http://wane.com/news/local/restaurant-closed-after-failing-inspection/

I've been twice. My first visit was pleasant enough to inspire a return. The food was very good. The Sushi rolls were pleasant, and I especially enjoyed the Spicy Scallops. The atmosphere is dark but pleasant. My biggest complaint about the restaurant is the menu itself - not the food, but the document. It is extremely hard to read. Even on my second visit, I had difficulty navigating the offerings (the low light in the restaurant did little to help). The wait staff is courteous and attentive, although they can be a little slow to get drinks from the bar. I couldn't tell whether that was an issue at the bar or with the wait staff. That said, they never missed. The drinks came out correctly and were of good quality... just slow. I like it, and I will very likely visit again.

I'm from San Francisco and I've been eating Asian food my whole life and I was absolutely stunned at how good this place was. I'm very partial to hot and spicy Asian food as well. Most of the time, it's never hot enough. This place took me right to my limit of heat, and it was DELICIOUS. Many people can't taste the food through the heat. I can. I had a seafood combination (I forget what it was called) and it was excellent. I have family in FTW and I will be back here a lot if we end up back here. Best in the area!

I'm writing this review with my lips still throbbing from the oh-so-delightful Sriracha burn, I really enjoy Naked Tchopstix. Sushi options are limited in Fort Wayne, at least sushi of a higher quality than Chinese buffets or grocery stores. Naked Tchopstix has, from what I can tell, the freshest and best ingredients of our other two nice sushi bars. Of course, their prices reflect that, too. My favorite is the Tai Chili roll, with crab, cucumber and avocado inside and red snapper outside, drizzled with an unusual homemade sweet-and-spicy sauce. They have other things, with names like "Mafia Roll" and "Playboy Roll" that I haven't ventured toward, and -- I swear to unagi -- a roll that includes Pop Rocks. They have a delicious miso soup that stands out from the competition, and my dining partner tells me the crab rangoon is outstanding (I can't eat gluten). If you want a cocktail, make sure you just got paid, because they are expensive! Granted, it's Fort-Wayne-expensive, but since we are only 46% the national average cost-of-living, that sets you back. Finally, check out the mochi ice cream for dessert, little balls of ice cream encapsulated in a sweet rice paste. It's only $3.99 and comes in great flavors, include green tea and mango. I should also mention they play a very strange selection of music. Bishop Allen is playing (at a pretty high volume) one minute, and the next its Creed. And then LeAnn Rimes. And then Buddy Holly.

Chicken katsu. Chicken tempura. Vegetable tempura. Rice. Pomme frittes. Maui roll. Wasabi dressing. Ginger dressing. Etc. All superb. Never disappointed.

OK folks, truthfully this is Fort Wayne, Indiana sushi. Not bad at all. I visited NT around Christmas 2010. The fish was good by mid-west standards, good coloring, smelled fresh, and full of flavor. I really tried not to mock the "just fresh off the plane" line since I do live in the Bay Area. The wait staff was fine and the Sushi chefs were great. I turned on my San Francisco charm and ordered a round of drinks to the chefs and everyone was having fun, especially my brother. I accidentally ordered the fish boat for four, when it was only my brother and I. It was feast made for a couple of kings! [or pigs :D] By mid-west standards, i give it 4-stars. Next time I'm in town, I'm bringing my chopsticks to this restaurant.

If I could do 3.5 stars I would...Enjoyed some decent sushi here one weekend. The food was good, sushi was decent. For Fort Wayne sushi rumor has it this place rocks--compared to Detroit sushi I have tasted better, however I realized I a spoiled:) Detour from the fancy drinks--had the drink special for the weekend and was sadly disappointed. The had a HUGE menu so perhaps I would try something else the next time I visit. BTW they do call ahead seating...

Had a noodle combination dish, it was ok. The service was a little weird. I remember having to ask a couple of times about our drinks...we were seated at a table right across from the bar.

Naked Tchopstix has ambitions of being everything to everyone--- or maybe the pan-Asian version of the Cheesecake Factory, with offerings of Thai, Chinese, Korean. The dishes are dressed beautifully, but the food won't appeal to purists. Pad thai was a sweet and sticky mess of noodles without the real kick of fish sauce or tamarind--- almost like PB&J noodles. Sushi and sashimi are amusing pieces with sweet mayonnaise--- visually entertaining, but not very challenging or exciting to the palate. It's an enjoyable experience for a group of friends, like a summer movie--- fun but unambitious.

Enjoyed it! Sushi was good, I ordered a couple sushi rolls and fried rice but my favorite by far was the chocolate sushi dessert. They somehow lightly coat little choc icecream balls and cover with powder sugar and choc syrup. It was different and good, beautiful presentation.

Best sushi in Ft Wayne. Amazing appetizers & rolls. Tuna Carpaccio is executed deliciously. Waiter didn't know his rolls & mispronounced items, but it's a brand new place so benefit of doubt. They add cream cheese to "plain" avocado rolls so I'd definitely say it's Americanized but still the best consistent quality yet.

Beautiful restaurant, HUGE variety on menu, super friendly staff, very good food. Bento box options are excellent choice for non-sushi people. Sushi is good (not excellent) and they offer a few original rolls. I particularly liked the Rocket, which was topped with Pop Rocks candy. I couldn't resist ordering this because I had never seen it before. It was delicious except for one thing: the spicy crab was REALLLLLLLY spicy. Moreso than any other spicy roll. But, I would order it again and prepare myself better. Most of their rolls are served with Unagi sauce...this makes me happy since I love it, but if you're not a fan of eel then you might want to stick to basic rolls or the sashimi. Orange calamari was unusual and delicious---and devoured by all. The chicken fried rice, which we ordered for toddlers, went down fast and easy. The entire table ended up sharing it as an appetizer. It was very, very good as far as fried rice goes. I would highly recommend their signature cocktails. Please note: there is no cocktail menu---and the waitress was not familiar with the one that I requested, but she did offer me to look over her personal drink list. ****The Vanilla Zen****** please please please check it out. Even my non-drinker mother would give up her beloved margarita in favor of this cocktail (this inspired awe from the rest of us). NOTE:: We were not familiar with the location and took a bit of navigating to get to the restaurant, which is perched atop a hill, behind the Hilton. The obvious road to get to the restaurant is now marked "one-way" and you need to turn in by Wendy's, drive allllllllll the way in the back and figure out how to get in to the parking lot. NOTHING IS MARKED for this "detour" and may cause you a delay.

If you are staying at either of the Hilton Properties adjoining, and you like Pan Asian, you have to make at least one trip across the parking lot. I liked it enough the first night in town to make a trip the second night as well.

I wish we had a restaurant like this near by. They have a wide variety dishes to choose from. I like the concept of having a variety of Asian dishes: Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese all in one place, makes me want to go back and try more. In my opinion, Naked Tchopstix has a good quality control. The sushi rolls were fresh, the Korean hot and sour soup was fantastic, the sea weed salad had a bit too much dressing for my taste but was still very fresh and nice. Pud Thai was made very well, Bibimbab was OK, it had fresh ingredients, however, the dish was lacking a certain 'kick to it'. They also have a nice variety of Asian beer and Sake. The service is really good and prices are reasonable. I will for sure be back to try more things at Tchopstix.

Good portions and the sushi chef was very accommodating of my wife's sesame allergy. Overall good experience.

I've only been there once and had sushi. I prefer the sushi at Asakusa and Sakura much more than what I had here.

A new restaurant in Ft. Wayne only open for about 2 months. They're still working on getting it right. Wonderful atmosphere, very upscale but! Staff who waited on me at sushi bar did not know much about Sake and surprisingly the didn't have a Sake menu. The claimed to have a large selection though. The food was not hot and I don't mean spicy. The manager took my bento box off my bill but they need to get it right. A staff member didn't make it in but not a good excuse. Conveniently next to HGI and a new to open Homewood Suites. Hopefuly they'll get their act together by then.

Interesting place. The food was quite passable. It was good, but not spectacular in any way. It is a very loud and crowded place. My biggest complaint is that there really isn't a very good selection for kids. My three year old did enjoy the tempura chicken. My wife and I had the sushi, it was good; again not spectaular. The wait staff was quite friendly and attentive. This is a chain restaurant (out of Indy) and has a chain restaurant feel. There are a couple of places close by that have better sushi at a similar price (Tokyo Seoul and Sakura). It isn't a bad place to eat, but unless someone just absolutely wants to there, I will probably pass.

Fort Wayne needed something like this. As much I could critique the food here, it is decent food at a reasonable price in a much-needed market. First of all it is a chain restaurant, so simply accept that stellar sushi like San Francisco or New York is unlikely. Second, it is pan-asian, so there is korean, asian and japanese choices that are likely ideal for a Fort Wayne where there may not be much choice. The menu is overwhelming because it is very busy but that may very well appeal to families with differing palates. Service was friendly and warm and quite accommodating for our very demanding group for lunch. The shrimp shumai was pasty and flavourless and not recommended. The vegetarian potsticker was average and undercooked but acceptable if you have never tried it before. The bangkok snapper was overcooked but still flavourful - the noodle substitute for the rice was bland but just realize that substitutions are probably not recommended here since it simply became a big issue about trying to do something different than the menu offerings - stick to the menu and you should be okay. The chicken udon noodle was quite good and highly recommended. The sushi rolls were interesting but clearly catering to a very broad audience and not the sushi connoisseur - most of the rolls will satisfy novice sushi lovers, however. I would return again to try the korean dishes. Ambiance is above average for Fort Wayne restaurants but still brightly lit. Overall, I feel that since it is a chain restaurant, they are trying to do too much. As long as you go in thinking pan-asian, and aren't a sushi snob, you will come out satisfied. ** For vegetarians or picky eaters, keep in mind that the deep fryer uses the same oil as meat (pork) and fish items. BUT, they will accommodate your needs by using clean knives and utensils for particular dietary restrictions - Way cool!
