Penny B from our company's Fort Wayne outpost tipped me off to this newest addition to the LongHorn chain. With only 4 existing reviews, and a glaring 2-star rating, it was clear that this steakhouse had just opened its doors and was working out the bugs. Waling through the door, I was pleased to see the interior was fresh and tastefully decorated with an eye-catching natural stone bar area and a large dining room with comfortable booths and tables of dark, mahogany-stained wood. Although we arrived before noon, by the time we departed, every table was taken confirming that they were still on their honeymoon as "the new place to try". From the lunch menu, my lunch partners chose one Parmesan Crusted Chicken dinner and one Soup & Salad with a baked potato on the side (the Shrimp & Lobster Chowder looked excellent). I jumped in for the carnivorous treat of the Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich which was tasty and filling. Our server was great...refilling our iced teas and checking with us frequently enough without being disruptive. The manager also stopped by for a quick hello which also was a good sign in view of their early Yelp 2-star rating. I would rate our experience a 3.5 and I would predict that by the time this location hits 25 reviews, it will have climbed from the current 2-stars to a solid 3.

Decent place with easy access from Interstate and a beautiful building. Food was good and service great and attentive. A bit pricier than some of their competitors. I had salmon and found done right and with good flavor.

To keep this in context, this is "Fort Wayne" and so the steak houses kind of run the gamut.. I have probably eaten at all of them and from the "fine dining" experience to the chain eatery, none really just jump out and override my choice of eateries for a truly great steak.. With that said, the steaks here are also pretty much normal fare with the exception of the big porterhouse. (Porterhouse for 2 and I hear it calling my name in my dreams) NOW we have an exceptional cut if you REALLY want a steak. When I eat steak, I WANT MEAT... a paltry 12 ounce ribeye simply is not going to work.. I want a Fred Flintstone steak that with a potato and some greens is going to leave me feeling like a true carnivore.. Yes it will cost you a few bucks but is that not why we go out? to enjoy what we can not have at home? ... If you want to appear "civil", share it with your better half, but I know the man in you wants the entire thing.... oh yea... Service: To this point has been good.. they do get busy so if you are in a hurry, have a seat at the bar and chow down...

First time we went it was good Have tried it 5 times after and this location can't get it right Not only is it disappointing that we wasted our time to try to eat but the managers have terrible customer service skills I understand how the severs do not know how to take care of a customer if the managers are training Don't eat at this location

First time to a Longhorn and wasn't disappointed. Service was decent. The waiter was attentive and courteous. We had 3 drinks from the bar, and those took a bit to get out to us. It wasn't an obnoxiously long wait, though. The food was really pretty good for a chain restaurant. The ribeye was much better than Texas Roadhouse or Logan's. The salads were creative and good. The Napa grilled chicken was outstanding. The decor and atmosphere were both excellent. The one thing I would change about the restaurant would be the layout. They have a few too many tables crammed into the space. Overall, I'd say that we will likely put them in our normal rotation and eat there a couple times a year. Definitely would recommend their specialty drinks.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The bread, the potato soup, and mouth watering, juicy filet. Can't get enough. Wish the cost!

I went here for dinner while in town on business. My 18 oz bone in Ribeye was cooked to perfection! The service was just okay. Not bad but not anything to write home about either. The food is the biggest reason for the 4 stars.

My little family of four went here Friday for dinner, and were happy with our meals! My husband and I both had the porterhouse steaks, I had a house salad, while he had the beefsteak tomato salad which he said was amazing, and looked like it was. My salad was ok, typical for a steakhouse, but the dressing was far superior to many. I had a sweet potato, which my 8 month old adored, and my husband had a loaded baked potato. The warm bread that came with our meals was excellent. Our 3 year old chose a hot dog with fries. We enjoyed everything very much, and our waitress was amazing with our cranky kids! I highly recommend you try it! I would have given it 5 stars if it had a few more options for sides that were unique.

My mom and I went in for lunch today and were seated by the nice hostess who told us our sever would be with us right. After 15 minutes with no one even looking at us, we started to leave. Passing 2 managers standing around talking, we told them no helped us and now we had to leave because I had work and needed to go find food somewhere else. They both held up a finger for us to wait (no words spoken) and ran into the kitchen. After another 3 minutes I started to walk away and ran into a different manager who just said go sit back down and we will get to you. SAY WHAT?! Oh, no. I will not be going back to my seat Ms.Teacher. They were not even busy! Everything was highly over priced anyway, but I would have been okay if I just would have gotten ANY service. If I could give zero stars I would.

Just wow! where do I start..I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I had a steak, lobster, and some fruity drink, all were delicious! The waitress forgot to bring out the lobster with the rest of the food. She apologized and took it off the bill. How nice. The lobster macaroni and cheese was one of the greatest things I've had in a long time! The stuffed mushrooms were great too! I've tried to go back, but wait times are usually long on the weekends, because the restaurant is newer to the area. Also, I'm sure people are returning for the great food and service!

First timer for me and my wife. Overall it was a good experience for us for lunch. Waiter was nice and helpful. Started with firecracker chicken wraps, which were good. We both got filets and were very good. Seasoned well enough you don't need any sauce on the side. Mac and cheese was surprisingly good too, since I've been burned before at other restaurants claiming as signature side. Other reviews are correct that its not cheap, but you should give this place a shot. We will be back again.

First time here , only had to wait about 2 minutes for a table. Beautiful restaurant and very classy for a steakhouse. The food presentation was very nice and it tasted even better!! Plan to come back again soon, glad we finally got a longhorn in Fort Wayne.

Beautiful facility. The food was decent, relatively standard priced appetizers. Pretzels: came with cheese & honey mustard. The cheese was bitter, you could really taste the Sam Adams, which was not a good compliment to the cheese. The honey mustard was amazing. It was sweet and had bacon in it which really added to the flavor of the already delicious mustard. The onion pedals were alright, pretty standard. Margarita: nicely made with a good amount of alcohol. Though fairly over priced when you consider the amount you receive. I had the Caesar salad with my meal. The croutons were nicely seasoned and not greasy. The steak we had was delicious, cooked perfectly to temperature. Mashed potatoes were ok, not overly seasoned and tasted relatively fresh. Meaning, not the worst I've ever had, but not the best either. Here's why they don't get 5 stars; The waitress didn't seem to be too thrilled to serve us, but she wasn't rude. We waited quite some time for our food to come out. Our waitress didn't bring any appetizer plates, nor did she clear any plates/baskets until the end of our meal. The manager (I assume) came over during our meal but didn't introduce himself which was a little odd as he seemed like he could also be a random stranger asking us how the food was. Overall, it wasn't the best, or the worst meal ever. If you're interested in a good steak I would definitely recommend it, but would highly suggest you go elsewhere for drinks.

The manager acted like she had been apologizing all day and just did not care anymore..We even waited a few months before we went... My burger did finally come out okay and I ate half of it...I had to cook when I got home for my darling Husband...Ha...Never go back...we paid for our drinks and the onion strips thingy. and my burger. I will try again, because I love the one in Florida I went to. My prime rib was cold, the server was fine, but I wasn't very happy.

I was disappointed that it took 10 minutes to be seated when there were already 4 booths open. I know that the waitresses/waiters could be busy, but I feel that they could at least be able to seat us with 4 whole booths open to customers.

I knew going to a new restaurant the first few weeks it is open is not a good judge of how the restaurant will perform in the future. That's ok - I understand that and take that into consideration. 4 of us went for lunch on Saturday about 1:30. There was a 40 minute wait - I expected that - build a restaurant in Fort Wayne and they will come (once, at least). We were seated, and of course it was very loud because it was so busy. Our server came pretty soon and took our drink orders. I had signed up for the email club, but had never received my coupon for a free appetizer, as was promised. The waiter checked with the manager, and they gave us a free appetizer without the coupon! Good public relations. We ordered the Texas Tonion, which is a cross between onion rings and a blooming onion. It is not connected like a blooming onion, so it is much easier to eat. It was very good, perfectly crunchy. We next ordered the French onion soup, the potato soup and the mushroom soup. I love a restaurant that has lots of soup on the menu! The French onion and potato were very good - French onion had lots of cheese on top. My husband said the mushroom soup was ok, but it was different tasting - thought it was probably the truffle they added. He probably won't get that next time. The ribeye's were a little underdone from how we requested, but were very tasty. Some of the people had to scrape off the salty seasoning - it was a tad too salty. The potato-leek casserole I had for my side was ok - it needed a little more cheese. The French fries were ok, the baked potatoes were good. I wish we had ordered dessert because all of them passing by our table looked wonderful!!! I will certainly be back and make sure to save room. Service was good for as busy as they were - drinks were kept filled and extras like A-1 and extra sour cream were delivered promptly. I can't wait to go back.

The food was good. Both meals were prepared well and had flavor. The biggest issue was the server brought the bill and we sent a credit card back with him. When he returned, the original bill was not in the folder, but the sign this one was. The amount on the sign here paper was $23.00 more than the original bill. When we pointed it out, he acted like it was no big deal he just rang up the wrong table. Seemed too well scripted to be a mistake, especially without the original slip showing the break down of the order or a copy for our records. spoke with the manager and he apologized and said he would keep an eye on that server.

I decided to brave the consistently overflowing parking lot and give this place a try. This place looks packed every time I drive by. However, on a Thursday evening at 6pm we got a seat without a wait. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was very good. We started with the fried asparagus - which was unique and tasty. The bread that comes with dinner was okay - nothing special. My wife had the raspberry chicken salad - she said it was very good! I had the prime rib with a side salad and upgrade mac & cheese. The prime rib was very good! The salad was pretty plain. The mac & cheese, for a signature item, lacked something that really made it worth ordering again and paying additional. I'm not sure it pepper...yes pepper...is their signature taste. However, my salad over dossed on the pepper taste. The prime rib had a stronger pepper taste than I expected. Overall I liked this place and would go back again.....though it's kind of expensive.

I've been her twice. I got the ribeye once and the porterhouse the second time. I've never had a better steak in my life. It was delicious. Even the steamed broccoli was good.
