Nothing real special. The menu is rather simplistic, featuring a few sandwiches salads, and a couple soups. On our particular visit, I ordered a veggie burger (I was informed it was not made in house) and a cup of vegetable beef soup. The sandwich was built on a pretzel bun, which added an interesting yet delicious twist on my prefabricated veggie burger. The vegetable beef soup was pretty good. My wife ordered the other soup featured for the evening, broccoli cheese. She mentioned that it tasted a bit on the sour side. All in all, our visit was okay. The food was mediocre but our service was better than what you might find in high end establishments. If I was in the right mood, I'd probably come back and try something else on the menu.

We went here on a Saturday night for a date. Went back on Sunday morning for brunch. The prices, food and atmosphere are great. Brunch is once a month. Took the family and the guys had biscuits and gravy, girls had creme brulee french toast. Everything was yummy.

We recently tried Calhoun Street with a Livingsocial deal. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, and we will definitely return! They have a unique draft beer list and an extensive bottled beer list. We had the beanand cheese dip for an appetizer, which was delicious and exactly what we expected it would be! It came with thicker pita-like chips which were also delicious! The salads were just ok- tasted like something we would make at home. Their sandwich/burger selection is good, but not very many vegetarian options (could have gotten veggie burger or veggie wrap). They also had a fish sandwich (which I did get). The pretzel buns is soooo delicious! I will delinitely get that again! We did not get dessert. Like previous reviews, the building is really well-kept, and very beautiful! All in all, we enjoyed the meal, and will try it again!

I am a weekly visitor of CS3 and will be til the cows come home. The name speaks for its menu quite simply: there are plenty of soups, salads, and sandwiches. I have several favorites including the Italian Toasted Sub- mm giardanare. They feature a cupcake of the week, with delightful different flavors. Root Beer Float, Creamscicle, Chocolate Peanut Butter, no two flavors repeat for a super long time. Or so they tell me. Another rarity that I love about CS3 is they have Diet Dr. Pepper on fountain. Game, Set, Match. The service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great. I see a lot of business professionals there- I wonder if they know that Babylon is attached out back?

I travel to Fort Wayne for work every week, and as soon as I found this place I was in love. The yam fries are delicious, and I love how comfortable and cozy you feel here. I've always had fantastic service (thanks, Daniel!) and the food is always consistently tasty. I always go for the chicken Caesar wrap, but maybe someday I'll branch out. The cupcakes are awesome too!

A great place to hangout, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They know their beers and liquors. Would always give great recommendations. I have tried a lot of their food and everything taste great. I recently enjoyed the pastrami panini. The crispy bread with the soft meat and horseradish sauce was a delight. I coupled it with a cup of the italian chicken soup which was surprsingly packed with a lot of flavor. I would probably get a bowl next time instead a just a cup. If you are looking for a great place to hangout and meet good people over great food, i definitely suggest CS3.

This bar is probably one of my favorite bars in Fort Wayne. the atmosphere seems to be very inviting and open minded. It's a very diverse in welcoming 0bar. I can't say that the food selection is amazing because I have not tried a wide variety of their food. near beer choices are more diverse than the average boner but I have seen better. when I went I just got a basket of fried food and there jalapeno poppers are awesome highly recommended. My girlfriend. And always gets the buffalo chicken salad and she swears by it. I would recommend this bar for a small hangout place the parking is a little iffy and hard to find the place but I do see its worth the search

I visited for lunch today. The service wasn't all that great. However, the food looked fantastic. I ordered a Chicken Ceasar Salad. When the waitress sat the plate down, I was really pleased. And for the most part, it tasted pretty good. However, it was loaded down with bacon (which I found a weird addition to a ceasar salad) and was therefore rather salty when combined with the dressing and cheese. One interesting addition to the salad was chopped celery. I wouldn't have thought that I would like celery in my salads but it added a really fresh and palate cleansing element that made the salty salad edible. Would I return? Yes. But I would try the soup or maybe the fried pickles.

Great atmosphere, good music & comedy on weekends, but food & drink are great anytime. Egg Salad = excellent, good salads & nice salad bar for lunch. They're great at catering as well!

Great craft beers, great burgers, great service. Love this local joint. I experienced this burger that had brisket on it and it was a heavenly experience. Yum. Definitely will go back.

As always, this review was written by my wife for her Facebook friends. An ill computer kept me from posting until today. Some of you may remember that our Burger Quest experience at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads, & Spirits (CS3) in Fort Wayne was pleasant with the exception of the tasteless burgers. But in their defense, this establishment is not named Calhoun Street Burgers & Beer so we decided to give them a second chance with my vow of trying dishes in which they specialize, only on the patio this time. CS3's patio is extremely warm and welcoming with its raised wooden deck in the center, comfortable tables and chairs spaced just right for a bit of privacy, and its wide array of differing flora. Strands of lights adorn the trees, shrubbery, and deck cover for added ambience in the evening. The only thing that betrays this setting from the illusion of sitting in an English countryside is the booming traffic on the busy thoroughfare known as Calhoun Street. With the task of ordering our meals at hand I went straight to the "Signature Salads" section of the menu where I chose a half Buffalo Chicken Salad served with a cup of Stuffed Pepper Soup ($7.49) while Scott ordered a dozen HOT wings ($8.99). All salads include a base of celery, cucumber, red onion, and diced bell peppers on a bed of greens and each are made to order so the customer can add or omit anything they desire. Besides the aforementioned ingredients the Buffalo Chicken Salad features diced chicken breast glazed in Buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese and croutons. Bleu cheese was my dressing of choice. The half-sized salad at CS3 is more than ample for one person and I found mine to be enjoyable, although not special or something I would expect as a signature item. I've had Stuffed Pepper Soup elsewhere and I've always loved it. So I had to wonder how anyone can take the flavor out of savory components like bell pepper, onion, ground beef, rice and tomatoes? But that is exactly what this eatery accomplished. That soup was pitifully bland! Scott's wings were of a medium size and had a good amount of meat on them. They had a nice flavor but they were definitely not spicy enough to be considered HOT. In conclusion we recommend that if you are in the area and thirsty and looking for unique atmosphere, stop in for a drink just to look around or partake in the live entertainment available on certain nights. But don't expect the cuisine to be anything more than pedestrian bar food. FYI: Full bar service is available. Smoking is allowed on the patio, but don't expect anyone to empty or clean the ashtrays. Even though the word "Soups" appears in the restaurant's name, only 2 soups are offered (although they vary) each day.

Parking is questionable. We went on Saturday at about 7:30pm. We were seated right away. I got the Cs3 club on a pretzel bun. My husband got some kind of BBQ burger. The sandwiches were okay. We wanted to try the salad bar. It was clean but not a lot to choose from. Not worth the price. Our waitress was absent for a big chunk of the time. The waitress gave my husband his drink with no ice. What? And then we had to ask for straws. The waitress asked us if we wanted dessert before we even got our food. She was clueless. This place really has a hipster vibe. I think 90% of the people working there had on fake grandpa glasses. Probably won't return.

This is a very nice relaxing neighborhood eatery with very good entertainment on different evenings. I love dining here during the summer because I love the fact you can enjoy dinner & conversation outside on the patio with nice music.

I love going to this place. The salad bar is why I go. The service is always great, real friendly waiters who care about what you like. The price is very reasonable and the beer choices are one of the best in town.

Fantastic comforting atmosphere (not too much kitsch), excruciatingly slow service, and fantastic sandwiches and yam fries. It all evens out to a 3 out of 5 in my book. As a group we had two orders of Yam Fries, a toasted Roast Beef Sandwich, a Turkey Wheat Wrap, a Chicken Sandwich and a Perfectly cooked Hamburger with curly fries. Everything was very good, the only downside was that we were headed out towards a Tin Caps game, and had to wait almost an hour after ordering for our sandwiches. Couple that with about one water refill per person while we were there, and an inattentive waitress, and this place goes back down to "just fine". I'll be back, I was actually pretty disappointed by this place. From the rave reviews that the numerous personal recommendations, we were hoping for a lot more.

Hats off to the owners of the Three C's. They got the concept right. Archie Bunker would love this place. A working class neighborhood bar, with average beer and a few high end priced brands for paydays. The food has a similar emphasis. Not on the level of Club Soda, or even Eddie Mores but well prepared with large portions. It fits the neighborhood area. More emphasis placed on filling you up than pleasing your palette. I don't understand why someone would complain about anything here. The staff does like to watch the T.V. (And out guess the game show contestants). Isn't that part of what draws people to this bar? The C-3 (Soups, Salads, and Sandwiches) was a furniture store before it closed. And then was converted into a bar. I believe it was the same contractor (interior decorator)? That has been updating a lot of these kinds of businesses in the Fort Wayne area. They appear to be using the same (shake and bake) methods for all the interiors. And in the process: Creating a new business out of an older abandon building. Note: There is a (Happy and Gay) disco attached along the backside of this building. You should know this in case you decide to park at night, in one of the (small tight) parking spaces on the left hand side of the building. It does fit the neighborhood though.
