Ram Restaurant and Brewery Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

First of all, the kids meal is extremely generous: entree, carrots and dip, side dish, drink and ice cream for $6.50. I enjoyed my pretzel-wrapped hot dog immensely, along with the small cup of beer cheese soup that accompanied it. My spouse was stuffed after his crispy pork belly burger. I tried it and it had a lovely tangy sauce on it. It's a very nice restaurant with plentiful parking and ample seating. We will definitely return to try other items on their fall menu.

My husband and I love this place! They have nice staff, good beers, delicious sandwiches, clean place and is a kid friendly restaurant! Perfect for parents who enjoys good beer and yummy food while eating out with the kids. Their beer cheese dip and vampire fries are very addicting!

Food was good, sat in bar and tv's were a nice touch, bar server was a little overwhelmed. Checked back for refills after we were all done. Server commented on the food I ordered saying "that doesn't sound good at all"

Came here with my family after my cousin's graduation. The staff were very sweet and welcomed us when we came in. Our server was also very sweet and friendly. Great food, and so many choices! I ended up choosing to make my own burger with a side of fruit kabobs. My burger was so delicious, and the fruit tasted nice and fresh. My only issue (and this was small) was I would have liked a bit more of a variety of fruit on the kabobs. It's was mainly cantaloupe, which I don't mind, but it's not my favorite. Maybe add more strawberries and grapes, as most people like that much better. But overall a great dinner with my family!

Great service! Sat in bar area! Battered prawns look yummy! I'm being bad and ordered Reuben, it's very tasty with horseradish that gives it the kick in looking for. Jeffs loving his prawns. 2 thumbs up I have to take back my 4 stars, due to finding a hair in my sandwich!!! Not mine! It's a good thing it was in the 2nd section. I guess that can happen, but wear a hair net

Had the fish tacos and they were amazing, along with quality local beers and a cheerful server it made for a good experience. The food was fast and the interior was pretty welcoming. It's also a a great place for not just having some beers and catching a game but for families as well. I would most definitely come back.

I was offered up 2 menu's for lunch. The regular menu and the seasonal menu. The glossy photos on the seasonal menu made the regular menu look boring. I ordered the burger with pork belly, arugula & aioli. It was awesome, but a little messy. The craft beer here is good and I will be back with my growler.

Stopped in today for a relaxing lunch. Came recommended by a local as a decent place to eat. I would have to agree. Place was not too busy, but didn't expect it to be at the time we went on a Monday afternoon. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger and it was excellent. Extremely juicy and very tasty. The homemade chips were also very good. Waiter was very attentive and also friendly. I would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Food at the Ram is great, pretty typical brewery menu (burgers, fries, etc.) but it was the service that really pushed me to give 4 stars. We had a group of 9 and our waitress did a fantastic job taking care of us. I most appreciated her honesty when making recommendations and not just telling us everything was great or to go for the highest priced option. As for food, I got the the Turkey Cobb burger (with a chicken patty instead at the recommendation of our waitress) and it was excellent! I went with the sweet potato fries, also a a big win. All 9 in my group got something different and everyone loved their food. Will definitely be back to the Ram again!

Get place to grab a great burger and beer. Staff are super friendly and service was amazing. It is also kid friendly.

I had the Reuben sandwich, and a Hefe Wiezen beer, both of which were fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and service was very good. A little pricey but very good.

It's a nice neighborhood restaurant serving your typical American bar fare. There are plenty of TV's so you can't miss your games. They have a good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. In fact, they also have a pretty good selection of non-alcoholic drinks including milkshakes.

I'm a huge fan of the pretzels and beer cheese dip! If you go there get it and you won't regret it! I was also very pleased with the price of beer here! Delicious and at a very great price. I would reccommend this place to anyone who wants a really good burger paired with a nice refreshing beer.

I'll be honest, this was going to be 4 stars right up until that sex-ona-plate they call ice cream cupcakes arrived. Mrowr!! Oh man, I'm so full, but I gotta have just one more bite... The peanut butter one isn't gone yet. Whipped cream topping and sprinkles on top of ice cream nestled in a frozen chocolate shell and drizzled with chocolate or hot fudge or caramel topping, each the size of a large custom cupcake. Service was quick and professional, if not real cuddly. But that's a good thing. I don't care much for cuddly waiters. Floors are clean. The pasta dish was a little heavy on the meat, making it a bit greasy. The menu is heavy on salads and sandwiches. Bathrooms have a changing table. Great place for business meetings, as long as you're not on the half hour lunch schedule. You want to take time for dessert, though you may wanna be careful not to make too many orgasmic style groans in front of a potential boss or customer!

I'm again surprised at the low ratings here. My review is based solely on the beer and the service. First off, this place is pretty big, and it seems to always be packed, so consider a reservation. Our waiter was prompt, friendly, and very helpful in answering our questions. We got the beer sampler with all of the beers they had on tap, and I wasn't displeased with any of them. While tgey aren't the best beers I've ever had all of them were enjoyable. We really liked the porter, the rum barrel aged, and the hefeweizen (it was a little bit yeasty, but I didn't mind) Also, can we talk about the price? This was the cheapest flight I've ever had at about $6. Overall I was pleased

Have eaten lunch here a couple of times recently with the family. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive and the atmosphere is good. The food is better than expected and the beer is very good as well. Will definitely keep this on our list of family friendly places to eat.

Nice bar, good beer, great service. However the grilled salmon I ordered with the spinach salad may have been grilled days or weeks beforehand, overcooked to the point that it was brick hard and hard to cut into. Horrible. Another Hoosier restaurant that has no clue as to how to prepare seafood. Review should be for Illinois St location, not Fishers.

Food is just average, had the fish tacos, and regretted it immediately. Just didn't taste fresh, probably frozen first, and the ingredients were not high quality. Beer is good and bar atmosphere was nice.

I've tried several items on the menu and never really settled for anything I particularly like. It's one of those places where I really don't get the appeal. Every time I keep hoping that what I try will be IT, but alas I'm never completely satisfied. There are not a lot of no-meat items on the menu so I usually have to try to customize something from the menu. The food is okay, but I'd rather spend that money somewhere more impressive. I've tried some of the beer and it is pretty good but I have a few other local breweries I prefer.

What I like about the Ram: -bar atmosphere is great, lots of comfortable half circle booths with view of big screen -good service -tasty beer brewed in house & good beer specials -tasty bar food, sandwiches, & burgers -yet to have a bad experience What I don't like about the Ram: -On fall Saturdays they fancy themselves a "Notre Dame bar" with servers wearing ND polos. This is Fishers not South Bend, don't be stupid.

Remember kids night is Tuesday! Luckily we were walking in around 9pm so most of the louder child filled tables were headed out. The fish tacos were decent except the fish was so big you has to eat 1/2 of it before you could get to the taco part. I wish there was a little more slaw flavor as well. My boyfriend has the steak with mushrooms and was able to switch out his sides for other options. The brownie Sunday made my day. Hot brownie and a scoop of ice cream. Can't beat that to top it off. Wish the wait staff was a little more attentive but he also looked like he was the only one for the whole room so we gave g a little credit.

While waiting for my friend to arrive, I saw someone from the kitchen staff head to the men's room with a glove on. And when he walked out, the same glove was on his hand! No patron should EVER see that! As this was a professional meeting, I didn't have the heart to tell my friend what I had just witnessed. Knowing what i knew, I stuck to drinks. Our server was nice and the Indy Blonde was good. $5.49 for a huge mug.

Our server was more than generous with allowing us to sample their beers. That fact alone gets 5 stars - no matter where you are - right? The Ram is located in Fishers, which, to be honest, doesn't have a lot of bar like attractions. This isn't obviously isn't downtown, but it's an up and coming location that needs more restaurants such as The Ram. I think it's appreciated by the locals, but I highly doubt people drive out of their way to make a visit. It's similar to a Scotty's Brewhouse - in the sense that there's plenty of seating and offers a large open bar area. I have yet to eat there, but they seemed to have great food options. I'm going to give this place a chance. I work in Fishers, but don't live in Fishers. With that said, I rarely come here on my free time. I may try to convince some friends to go there in the evening sometime to check it out again. It has potential - just hasn't found the "wow" factor quiet yet.

Great service! Great selection of unique food! On a cold day their hot toddy is amazing! Gluten free menu is really good! Great place to be on game day!

We were a little intimidated going to this place figuring there was a big push to the beer because we do not drink much. Turns out they did not "push" the alcohol to us at all, even though I did try a sample of two and purchased a pint of another. The sever was very friendly, fast, honest and pleasant to deal with! We got a Santa Fe burger and the reuben, both with their homemade chips. They were fantastic! We cannot wait to go back. It's a great place to take friends/guests that like burgers, steaks, etc and enjoy a craft beer - or not!

I have ate at this place several times. For the most part good experiences until last night. It seems they have gained a lot of incapable wait staff and cooks since last time (Maybe a year ago). 3 out of 5 entrees (1 Steak/2 Burgers) were cooked well done when all three were requested medium rare. Took forever to get servers attention to make her aware there was a problem. We only requested the steak to be recooked after she had said it would only take a 5-10 minutes. She disappeared and I did not get the steak for another 25-30 minutes. When the steak came, it was completely under cooked!! They seared the outside for maybe 30 seconds on each side, no joke... Told the server, she didn't care. Horrible service and I guess a really bad cook!

We walked in with a large group of parents and volleyball players. Staff was friendly and not flustered by our group or the others walking in. We were seated in about 20 minutes which is exactly what the host told us. Food was great. I had the salmon and spinach salad with hummus-best hummus I've ever had! $13 Would definitely recommend to families and groups.

Save your money. Overpriced and not very good food. Orders are often wrong and food is not cooked correctly. I've ordered a burger twice now and it was under cooked when ordered as well done both times. When under cooked the first time I was told they would cook me a new one that they don't just put them back on. When it came back out it was clearly the same burger as you could see where I had taken a bite out of it. Not good. Second time was carry out. The burgers were under cooked again and the food was cold.

I would really like to rate this place higher based on what their concept is. Nice sports bar which brews its own beer and serves food. however, i have to say having tried almost all beers in and around Indy, their beer is really left wanting. Except for the hefeweizen there is nothing really that stands out and makes you crave for more. The one time i made the mistake of eating (chicken sandwich) there, i found it to be absolutely horrible and i was pretty shocked that it is able to continue as a business. I have always found the service to be very nice and the friday and sunday growler fills for $5 is an amazing deal. however, it is on extremely rare occasions that i find myself wanting to fill a growler from there even though this place is less than a mile away from my house

We had a party of 8 so we called ahead on a Saturday evening. When we got there we were able to get a table pretty quickly. It looked really busy but the restaurant us really big inside. Calamari appetizer is really good. It's tender and not chewy like a lot of places serve. I had jumbo beer battered shrimp. It tasted good, but the shrimp were not jumbo. They were more like regular size shrimp with an inch of batter around them. I ordered a side salad with champagne vinaigrette, but the vinaigrette seemed more like honey mustard. The service was good. I would probably try this place again but I would not get the same dish.

Don't get loaded cheese fries for an up charge. There is barely any cheese for a dollar extra,

The Ram is so good and has a great selection of their own beers. I'm generally not a big beer drinker, but their Buttface Amber is so good, I have to have a mug of it whenever I'm there! The apps are great, especially the loaded waffle fries with garlic sour cream. The desserts are enormous so make sure you share them if you decide to get one! My only aside would be that sometimes the special cocktails they have are generally not popular so when you order one, sometimes the bartender isn't sure how to make it. I haven't had a bad one, but that makes me nervous in general so stick with their beers. I like the ambiance in the bar with the little booths all around. It's been a while since I've been and writing this makes me want to go back!

Nothing really special here, but everything is decent. Decent food, decent draft beers. They have cheap pints on Thursdays, which is a great value. They also play the sound for IU basketball games, which is never a bad thing.

  • Sherri K.

Best lunch sirloin I have had, reasonably priced, great sides, and salad...professional staff, and the wine, albeit not the best, was perfect for the food choices, if you decide against the house brews. It was a casual environment but still professional. The staff was very friendly. It is on a main street downtown, and the mall is just a block or so away. It is walking distance from Colts Stadium. Quite decent.

Beer good upgrades are steep 1.49 for waffle frie and an additional 1.99 loaded. Making 3.48 upgrade for French fry

Great place to watch bowl games! Great draft beer! That's about it. I've eaten here many times and honestly, I love the beer selections, but the food and service is not consistent. Some nights, it's spot-on and I feel like they have something great here at this location, but other nights, I walk out thinking "what the heck?". For instance, a couple months ago I ordered the fish and chips and was served an amazing dish with two very lightly breaded, but golden pieces of fish that had that light "crunch" you expect with fried fish and a very tender and moist fish center. Last week, I ordered the same dish, but was served a huge single fillet of fish that was over breaded and dry on the inside. It was just thrown on the plate with some fries (about a handful). The burgers are decent, but again, i've had burgers that were spot-on and I've had burgers that were swimming in a grease pool. I love this place because of it's atmosphere and great beers on tap, but anymore, i'm just ordering appetizers because i don't know what i'm going to get with main courses.

Nope, sorry, this establishment does nothing to rise above the shackles of its chain-y-ness. They manage to up the grease factor on a naturally greasy selection of ordinary bar food, which is abundant in central Indiana as everyone knows. Even the hummus plate, which is what I usually order, serves as a conduit for grease with its oily chips and pita bread. Other veg-friendly options include a salad wedge with Gorgonzola and pecans and a quesedilla that seems, oddly, to have been cross-bred with some bruscetta. They have lots of burger options, and those are reportedly greasy. I've been instructed to avoid the steak, but I can't imagine ordering steak at this kind of venue even if I ate red meat. The servers are competent, but pretty no nonsense (read: not terribly friendly). I would be if I worked here too. My general policy would be to avoid The Ram, but it happens to be an after-practice destination for my teammates in the summer and I sometimes give in. $2 pints on Tuesdays are my consolation (try the porter). The ice cream cupcakes are kind of clever (mint chocolate chip and peanut butter come recommended by my teammates). The atmosphere fits in the mold of your brewery-chain-type dealies, i.e., Rock Bottom, Alcatrez, etc. So, basically, do it if you have to and you'll survive, but go almost anywhere else if you have a choice.

Went here because it was located next to the Goodwill we were looking for. Came on a Sunday around 4 p.m. and it was slow so we were quickly seated and very well served with a great view of the Colts game on TV (even though they were getting killed). I tried their own pale ale and it was tasty and reasonably priced. My girlfriend enjoyed a Thai salad, daughter had kids meal of chicken and fries (free ice cream scoop included) , and I had Chicken Sarducci sandwich and it was awesome. Typical Italian ingredients (peppers, onion, basil, mozzarella cheese) on a grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad for only a minimal up-charge to substitute. I would gladly go here again and the location downtown is just as good with an even better dining atmosphere.

Great servers and always a good meal. They used to serve carrot sticks with ranch for the kids and ours loved it. Last couple of times they didn't do this though.

Not impressed this place was average. Our server was great, but we had to send food back due to it not being cooked to the specifications given. Would I go back? Sure, are you paying?

Pickle chip appetizer took a long time but was still good. Sister's burger came out with cheese and mustard even though she specifically asked them to be held. It came back and they had scraped off the cheese and flipped the burger over. They comped the burger and threw in two desserts. Waiter was nice and very apologetic but didn't do a good job of keeping drinks filled. Food was very good overall - Olympus salad, burgers, quesadilla, chicken sandwich, brewer's steak.

I love The Ram.... for their beer selection. The burgers are the only thing to order really. Don't make it too complicated for the chef. The ice cream cup cakes are pretty awesome. If you like burgers and chicken sandwiches with your beer, this is a good place to go.

Service is a problem, I ordered burgers to go, got them home and they were raw. Brought it back and chef was actually at the host stand and he agreed and re-fired it. Melany the "manager" decided to argue that they were cooked right so I just asked for a refund. Funny how the chef OD and I both went to culinary school, but Melany decided she knew better....I'll take a pass on this place for a while.

Good burgers, and the Amber beer is pretty good. The other stuff has been hit and miss, and their fries aren't very good. But all around a good option for bar and grill food.

  • Erik D.

The Ram used to be a great place to eat, especially on Sundays. But over the last several months, the food has gotten mediocre at best. The kitchen never gives enough fries, and whenever I ask for extra crispy, it usually just means "less soggy." A medium-well burger still comes out as well done. Ram used to be one of my favorite places to go, and the only chain restaurant I would visit with any regularity. Now their food has gone from okay to fairly bad. The service is still good, but it's not enough to overcome the bad food.

For a party of five celebrating a birthday on a weekend, we received very good service! The beers were fine and the food was judged as good or really good by all five party members. The atmosphere was judged to be a bit noisy by some in our crowd, and it was thus deemed to be a better venue for younger patrons who wouldn't mind the noise, etc. The well prepared and enjoyed meal was topped off with an unexpected and complimentary birthday cake brought to us by the waitress (who had noticed the small gifts and cards but had not been given notice otherwise). All in all, it was a very good experience that I would recommend to others. Again, you may want to consider the guests you are bringing with you for the venue, but the food menu and especially the custom beers did not disappoint on this particular trip. The 4 of 5 rating was agreed upon by the 5 members of our party. We visited the Fishers, IN location on a Saturday night around 5:30pm.

The beer at the Ram is pretty good. But the food is pretty mediocre. There are a couple servers at this location that are top notch, and we're usually lucky enough to get them since we pretty much always come in on the same nights. We have had a different server a couple times, and she was a bit slow and forgetful. It's good for burgers, appetizers. The Alaskan BLTA is alright. The beer is pretty good. Tuesday night pint night is pretty tight ;) It's usually freezing cold in here, too.

  • Steven S.

The Armadillo eggs look good on the menu but are OK. The chesse in the middle is a little mealy. Service was very good and all the other food was good and a decent price. I had grilled buffalo chicken salad and it was fine. The bread-stick, which I saved for last in an effort not to eat it it was hard and not good. If you want to have the best time, go with friends and sit at the bar. they have some good home brews.

  • Cliff H.

This place looks like it has potential, but there were a laundry list of problems: the server looked like he just rolled out of bed and needed some gel and shave, dirty silverware, big old dry carrots for the kids, unhealthy buttered and toasted sandwich bread (what is this Arby's)? I can't see myself coming back here.

I did not enjoy my meal or the atmosphere here. I ordered a steak and baked potato and tried some of their apps and everything was below average. Service was also cold...and slow. Won't be back (if I can help it).

I eat or drink here probably every three weeks or so, dining with the family, or drinking after hockey with the guys. The menu is fairly simple, heavy on the burgers, but also seafood. The burgers are very good- big, cooked correctly to order, heaped with the toppings. Interesting little twists, like the sweet potato fries. The use of their beers in the sauces is another nice touch. I had shrimp fajitas tonight- could be spicier for my tastes, but plenty of pico & guac. The staff has always been very great to my kids. Balloons every time. I like that they serve carrots to start, and best of all, even though the ice cream is included with the kids meals, the servers have generally been discreet enough to ask us about the desserts, and not the kids. Once they asked the kids. That's a pet peeve of mine. Sure- ask the kids if they want dessert. Nice. We like the oversized booths, but they pop the A/C a little too high for my wife. Freeze babies are advised to bring a sweater! After hockey, we sit on the bar side and have beers and appetizers. Good deals on Sunday nights on the appetizers. $2 pints on Thursdays. The beers are pretty average- on par with other brewpub chains, like Rock Bottom, not quite as good as local ones like Barley Island, but quite drinkable. I go for their Porter and IPA. Good bar chow in the appetizers. We make sure all the calories we burned on the ice are fully replaced. The loaded nachos are awesome. A meal by themselves. Good space for viewing games. Not amazing, as the seating area gets too cramped during Colts games, and the screens aren't visible from every angle. But on average Sunday nights, the viewing is very good. I read the other reviews, and while yes the soda prices are crazy high, we've never had a charge for a refill. I'd have questioned the server on that one.

$30 and two days later I'm still thinking this was a horrible choice for my lunk on Friday. The server was less than helpful, the food wasn't anything memorable and the drinks, I'm talking a diet coke, was like $2.47 each - and they charged for refills. Ouch. I won't be going back for lunch... possibly ever, even for dinner.

We have been to Ram about 4 times. I love the Cheese burgers and sweet potato fries. The fries were crisp and light. Love the burger. Service has always been good. We had always gotten the frozen muddy buddies for desert, which we love...can not leave them go uneaten! But then last time we were there, it was cold outside, so we opted for cheesecake instead of the ice cream treats we love. The piece of Cheesecake was large and high. But, for some reason, it just didn't seem to have much flavor to it and I didn't care for the texture. It seemed like it had been prepared elsewhere and shipped there. We asked for Raspberry Cheesecake and got a nasty tasting Raspberry topping for the top. It reminded me of the Cherry flavored cough syrup I hate. Learned our lesson...will stick with Muddy Buddies and if it is cold, get coffee. Oh, and also, this time we ordered an appetizer called Armadillo Eggs. I was not thrilled with them. They were ok. Crisp on the outside with some sort of cream cheese and cheese/jalopeneos on the inside. They were larger than I would like...couldn't really pop them in your mouth, and I did not care for the squishy filling on the inside. They did not go uneaten, but they were not my favorite.

I have to give credit to the RAM for putting up with our party of ten people, however, I ordered the Dragon Berry mojito and it tasted like kids medicine which I told the waiter and gave it to my friend who will drink anything. They still charged for it and charged her instead. They also messed up on her drink order. There were a lot of issues with the bills but the food was still really good and I was starving. My suggestion though for them is to create a sauce or something for the sweet potato fries. This place has great Burgers and their other sandwhiches are good too. The armadillo eggs were good. The fried pickles were ok but Scottys Brewhouse makes them better. It was nice though that they allowed us to make a reservation since we had a large party as opposed to making us wait.

If you like beer and burger, this could be one of the places to go with friends. They have many kind of burgers, in addition to soup, salad, pork, chicken, and many more. The last time we went there, our server was very attentive and friendly. However, I found the quality of the food is just OK. Skip the breaded pork tenderloin and coleslaw as the side dish. Both were tasteless. Try their RAM chips instead - they taste good and are crispy. The interior is different than the one downtown, but it basically has 2 different areas - bar and regular dining areas - both rooms have TVs. If you have kids, you may ask to seat at the table right next the kitchen. The kids can enjoy watching the cooks busy preparing the food for customers. Also, they have the promotion on Sunday : $1 Kids meal - that comes with carrots and ranch (for appetizer), drink (soda, milk, lemonade) and a scoop of Edy's ice cream. What a deal!!! This makes RAM a good place to go with family too.
