Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Honestly the pizza is the best thing here and it's the best I've had in evansville so far and I've tried a lot. No one quite nails the crust quite like this place. The sauce is good too! And the fettuccini Alfredo is alright as well the best thing about that is that it's super creamy. I didn't really like the lasagna though.

This was our first time to go to this restaurant. We waited 35 minutes to receive our food. Not too bad except regarding my French fries. I would have been embarrassed to send that plate out looking like that. My gyro was, however, tasty. We will probably give them one more shot.

I visit Little Italy for the first time. Loved the decor and how it looked totally different from the previous Restaurant that was in this same spot. My server Polly was so nice and was able to answer the questions I had about the food. Off the Lunch Menu, I started off with the Wedding Soup, It was missing something. I am not sure I would order it again. I order the Gyro's Dinner which I found to be perfect in flavor and size. I would definitely order this again. I always love it when the Ice Tea is perfect just the way it is, with nothing but Ice added. Their Tea was very good. I finished off with a slice of Tiramisu, and a cup of coffee. I was very pleased with the flavor of the Tiramisu, rich! The coffee was hot and smooth. I look forward to trying something from their evening meal menu.

This is the kind of underwhelming meal I expect from an "Italian" restaurant in Evansville. I suppose they watched a few episodes of the Sopranos, bought some Pilsbury breadsticks, and said "I think I'll try to open an Italian joint with slightly worse cuisine than Olive Garden". Anyone can make this kind of food at home if they don't love themselves enough.

My husband, son and I went on a Saturday night. Decor is nice, and a welcome surprise. I have known the building to house other things (Pizza Inn) years ago, and was wondering how they would be able to make it look nice. But they succeeded. We had the crab cakes, which were great! They were on a large bed of Angel Hair pasta with cream sauce, which made the dish. I might order that as a meal next time. Husband got the spinach ravioli with cream sauce which was also wonderful. Got spaghetti marinara off the kids menu for the little one. It was a huge portion, and good. He ate it happily, and I had some of his, for this reason: I have to think that someone horribly botched the pesto that night. I don't know if it is made per dish or made in a big batch, but my pesto on angel hair pasta was inedible. I will eat just about anything as long as it tastes like pesto, but this was awful. First of all, I immediately noticed huge chunks of garlic cloves in the dish. Knowing that I wasn't going to chew up a half clove of garlic in one bite, I picked through and picked out no fewer than 20 large hunks of garlic, all too big to be eaten in one dish. There was also a large clump of basil (all stuck together) in my dish, and several burnt pieces of garlic. This gave the entire dish a burnt taste. My husband took a bite (intending to eat some of the dish to prove me wrong) and could only take one bite. I asked the waitress nicely, is it possible I got the wrong dish (there is another sauce on the menu called garlic, olive oil and basil for some reason). She said no, and that they were both the same thing. She stopped just short of implying that maybe I didn't know what pesto was...believe me, I do. I've eaten it, I made it myself. And I'm not elite about it at all. But this was not edible pesto. Just a thought for the owners, because I know that you know what pesto is too, and how to make it. And obviously someone there does not. Also, you might mention to the servers that if someone is sitting there with a huge bowl of pasta and cannot bear to eat it, you might want to try and help in some way instead of expressing regret that they ordered the wrong dish. I was neither rude nor demanding, and luckily there was more than enough food, but I paid for a dish I did not eat.

I say go. It's cozy it's small, but the food is good. I had the spinach ravioli. Enjoyed this place. Staff was friendly and honestly I don't have anything negative to say other than the size is small.
