Love love love this place! It's on point pretty much every time I go! House salAd with ranch is a must as a side!

We go here often, but this one experience ruined my opinion of four stars to two. How insulting. I am a grown man trying to cut back on my diet, and so I ordered chocolate milk. The waitress brings back a little carton of chocolate milk. In the past, they usually give me a big glass without question, but she assumed me to be slow. Insulting. Then when I ordered a steak medium rare, she questioned me in a tone reminiscent of a special needs teacher to an exceptionally slow student. She was late with food, mixed up orders, and above all, generally infuriating. Will not come back for a while.

I'm not usually a fan of steak houses, as I don't eat beef or pork, but this restaurant has some of the friendliest servers and our experience was quite pleasant. I ordered salmon and was blown away at the portion size as well as the outstanding flavor and texture! I've not had salmon that good in a long time, not even at the so-called nicer restaurants! The steak fries were great, as well. The other food ordered (country fried chicken and steak/ribs dinner) were thoroughly enjoyed by my fiance and son. I'm happy we were all able to find something to eat and that it was so delicious. Our drinks never ran dry and our waitress took very good care of us all. It was pretty busy when we went, but our service was still impeccable and we never felt ignored. We will be dining here again on the future!

Food was very good. Vegetables were undercooked though. Steak was great. Service was decent. Had to wait an hour in an insanely crowded room, but it was a Saturday night. It was pretty good overall though I would eat there again.

This Texas Roadhouse location is the best operation I visited in my travels. I recently visited on business travel and had dinner at the bar. The bartenders were extremely friendly and outgoing. They were very attentive and the food was exactly as expected for a Texas Roadhouse. I do not understand some of the previous reviews. If you don't like chain restaurants, pick somewhere else to eat. And if you order fried foods, you should expect them to be salty. I only plan on living once....and I plan to enjoy the time I have on this rock.

Excellent food and better service. Good enough to make a trip back to Elkhart. Thanks TR 5*****

So me and my father decided to go out for a late Father's Day dinner. We decided to go to Texas Roadhouse, we were greeted with the "typical teenage greeting; hey, just two?" Then we are lead back past four clean open tables, and sat at a DIRTY booth. We are told someone would be there shortly to clean it and the host walked away. We sat for at least a minute (I work in the industry, a minute is a long time). We decided we were done and got up to leave. The table was still yet to be bussed.

Three stars is the best you can get for a chain from me. Two isn't bad. I was hung the heck over coming here and ordered Caesar salad and a side of chili. Salad was over dressed, like drowning in unflavorful dressing. Chili was ok but could have used beans, the I notice on the receipt, the waitress put no beans. Maybe I didn't look like I could handle them. Who knows. Everyone was friendly, but it wasn't a meal I'd be craving to come back for.

Bee there 3 times and I was never disappointed there sweet roll are so good, there drink delicious and the steaks were fantastic. The only downside was the noise.

Streak is fantastic but the service is just as good. Relaxing and fun environment. Come w an empty stomach and leave satisfied. Ask for Amanda the waitress for added fun

Great food and great service. Steaks were cooked correctly so kudos to the chef. However, for whatever reason, our salads came out before our appetizer but all was good. Friendly staff. Would eat here again.

Service was horrible and the Prime Rib I ordered was dry and tougher than crocodile hide. I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. Everything was overpriced and easily among the worst money I've ever spent in a restaurant.

This to me.....is the best restaurant in Elkhart. The food is always consistent after several visits. Its a fun place with hot waitresses, tall glasses of beer, and some kick ass BBQ. I'd come here just for the rolls and sweet butter. They should be illegal. Highly recommend the 8oz fillet and if you order it anything over med rare you're an idiot.

Good service! Salt and more salt,,, American formula food just off the highway. No wonder we are all so unhealthy.

The food was great but the service was horrible . The girl Bailey was a bit rude and stuck up. And I think she was a little racist

My favorite steak place. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive. My favorite thing to order is the 6oz sirloin with the house salad and baked potato. The steak is cooked perfect every time and the salad is great. I could go just for the salad alone. The only complaint I have is that they don't give enough sour cream with the baked potato, but they always bring more when I ask.

he filet was decent at best, however everything else was subpar. The mushrooms covering the filet were not tasty and took away from the cut of meat. The mashed potatoes were not that good and the mixed veggies tasted like they were from a frozen bag. The fried pickles were too salty. Then there was the service.... With our reservation we were seated 25 minutes late. The waitress forgot our bread (which was the best part of this meal) and forgot the dipping sauce for the appetizier. Getting refills was also difficult and she never brought out the lemon slice that was asked for. All in all you have to eat somewhere on a Friday - which is why I assume this place was busy but I think you could get a better experience for the money at a non-chain local steak house.

Really awful service today. The waitress was not attentive at all. Half of our party had good prime rib the other half not so good. We usually tip 25% but today flat 15%. Will give it another shot before taking a long break.

We were in the mood for some steaks and Texas Roadhouse was the best bet. The restaurant was packed which probably attributed to the service being very slow. Our waitress was pretty indifferent and the food wasn't any special at all. I have to imagine there is somewhere better to go for a steak.

My favorite texas roadhouse, good steak, affordable back in the day on a college student budget, and fun atmosphere. The service was always typical Mid Western, caring and great and funny. The food was always as expected, and their break is to die for here. This place was 30 minutes away from campus, but so worth it, even when it was negative 10 outside. Highly recommend it.

The food is good, but like with so many Taxas Roadhouse restaurants we have been to, the music is always way too loud, makng conversation difficult.

Good place to eat. Great prices and good food. The steak is usually really good and at times even better than steak we have had at Outback. The rolls are good. The sweet tea is good to. My hubby likes the BBQ chicken. Service is usually great too. The kids think the burgers and chicken strips are awesome too.

Nothing fancy and on the noisy side, yet good food for the price and good service. Wanted a filet, sweet potato, salad, and good bread, so knowing this would be on their menu, went and enjoyed it all but the noisy atmosphere. I wasn't in the mood for a fancy place...just wanted good food. Another plus was the Blue Moon which I had a taste for, but they didn't serve with orange, I had to ask for and it was promptly served.

For me the only good thing about this place were their rolls with cinnamon sugar butter. Slather that on thick! Mmmmmmm.. Those things were delicious, and they'd bring out more and more upon request. But it's just not very classy to sit there and keep on ordering up complimentary bread now is it. If you don't know that then that older lady in your life that's married to your father.. was not a very good mother and didn't teach you shit. Midwest + bread = you know what, if you know what I mean... w i n k, w i n k. Yeah you do know.. and if you don't then give yourself a minute.... then if you still don't know, then you may PM me this one time. The secret code for me to answer back is TEXASS. I've been here many, many times because I am such a nice and gracious agreeable person, and found the food to be just... whatever... bleh... average to sucky. Seems really popular with the locals around here. When I'm in town I definently would not go out of my way for this joint. Applebee's or some shitty chinese place it is.
