Don't take too long to eat your breakfast on a busy morning....the owner will come over to your table and tell you that he needs you to leave because he "really needs the table." Nevermind the fact that you are still waiting on your carry-out order and the waitress hasn't even brought your check yet. I couldn't believe it! I've never been treated so rudely! Not to mention the outdated decor and dirty bathrooms. Do yourself a favor and go to The Golden Egg instead.

AMAZING!! I have very high expectations when it comes to Customer Service and Cleanliness of a Food Establishment. I pay good money for my food and so I expect what I pay for. I get concerned about the slackness and sloppiness of people with the health and well being of their patrons. When I find a place that exceeds my expectations as this place, I am ecstatic. This restaurant has it all going on!! Great Friendly Service!! Fantastic Food!! Huge Portions!! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN everywhere!! Not one sticky or dirty utensil, menu, or dish. Hot Syrup and Flavored Creamers served to the table. Our coffee cups never ran dry. The owner was visible and stopped by our table for a quick chat. The condition of the furniture, equipment and the building was TOP Notch!! Clean and Classy as well as very Clean Restrooms!! and a Bowl of Chocolates at the Register to enjoy as paid our bill and walked out the door. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant said, "Thank You" for coming. We felt valued and respected as patrons. We may never have the privilege to come back because, we are just passing through as we travel, but if we come anywhere close, we will be back.

Great food! Excellent service! The menu was easy to navigate. My one concern, however, was the condition of the female bathroom. It was very dirty and unpleasant. That being said, the inside decor was quaint & homey. I enjoyed the Andy Griffith decorations!

Great food, had the belgian waffle with sausage links and was very pleased. The service is very good even on a busy Saturday morning. Plenty of room and space. Although the juices they serve are either in a very very small glass which is the small or the large which is a very large glass and there are no refills for juice. Other than that it was great service and a nice place to go.

Hidden gem! their breakfast and lunch menu is beyond good.a tad bit pricey for waffles but they are so worth it

Nice place for some hearty breakfast. I mainly come here for their pancakes because they make em big, nice & fluffy. Service is pretty decent and most waitresses are always checking to refill coffee. The wait for a table is not awfully long - usually there is a good flow of people going in and out.

Great service and food. Breakfast skillets have real fresh veggies and real cheddar cheese. Pancakes are excellent (TRY THE BLUEBERRY). Always full coffee cup. Don't judge this book by its cover. The place looks like you may actually be back in Mayberry and based on color choices for the furnishings it would benefit from actually being in black and white. Highly recomend!!!

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times now and every time we have received excellent service by more then friendly staff. The personnel bend over backwards to make sure we are taken care of, filling our water glasses or coffee cups to serving our meals. The food has been excellent with more then ample portions, never having to wait more then a reasonable time for any Item. Our wait staff were friendly and at times humorous. The price for the meal service and atmosphere is the best deal in town. Highly recommend this good home cooking eatery to everyone. Gene D

Went on Father's Day. Waited only ten minutes or so for a table, which was quick for a party of 6. All of us ordered an egg dish of some sort, nothing fancy or complicated. After 40 minutes(and every table around us being served) we finally got the waitress' attention to ask what the issue was. She said it was ready and she was going to get it. Five minutes later, we got our food but were short one dish. The waitress said she just couldn't carry it and would go get it. 15 minutes later, the last dish came. The food was good and hot, but the service was so bad. We asked to speak to the manager, who very begrudingly and half-heartedly apologized. However, they refused to comp anything or even discount the bill. Outrageous! 60 minutes for eggs! Will NEVER be back.

eat at mayberry on a weekend basis , as good a breakfast as anywhere around town , reasonably priced and all menu items i have tried have been fine, waitresses very attentive and speedy with food , country fried steak is a large portion and keeps you satisfied for the morning , omelets are fair sized and the ham and eggs for 5 something cant be beat.
