Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I was really impressed by the quality of this brewery. The beers were thoughtfully crafted and you could really tell the brewer was a perfectionist. From the IPA to the breakfast cookie stout all were exceptional beers. My only complaint is it isn't anywhere near where I live! The food was really good and not too heavy. I would definitely recommend this place.

We discovered Iechyd Da brewing co on a road trip from IL to OH. I wanted to try out a few new breweries & thought this would be a good way to break up our trip. It was Sunday & the Bears game was on so we were hoping they would have it & they did (2 TVs at the bar viewable from some tables but not all). Also, love that this is a 21 & over establishment. Adults need some places of their own to go. This is the way a small craft brewery should be done. Great beer, great food, an inviting atmosphere & friendly staff are what make this place. We started with a flight of 7 different beers ($1 per 5oz sample) in order to determine what we would like best for our pint. We settled on the Local Blonde & Prosperity Pale ale which were both really good. For our meal we chose the muffuletta sandwich & Kidwelly pizza. The muffuletta had a delicious olive tapenade which really made the sandwich. The Kidwelly was also very good & as a result we ordered the Landimore garlic to go. The Landimore has large chunks of artichoke & roasted & garlic with the garlic being the main focus. Even though you go to the bar to order & there is no waiter it really worked here. If I wanted something I went up to the bar & someone was always there to take my order. I never had to wait which was awesome. They serve the beer to you at the bar, give you a number for your table for your food order & then bring your food to you. They also come by to clear the table which is nice. They sell T-shirts, work shirts, hats & pint glasses. The beer changes frequently & they have a board that tells you what's upcoming on tap. They sell the beer only in growlers or half growlers for a reasonable price. If we lived in the area we would definitely be frequent flyers. Sadly though we live a little over 3 hours away so unless we are headed East again we won't be able to go back.

LOVE Iechyd Da! They need to add on to accommodate all of their fans! Great service, food, and beers.
(5)Brian E.
A fun place. Not pretentious, but still good food, good beer, and a good time. Very eclectic crowd. Like, crazy eclectic. One guy had on a kilt. A few biker dudes. A few older folks on first dates after their first/second marriage didn't work out. Young people. And a large group of people with an Eric Clapton look alike, an older guy, a guy (maybe his son) in a wife beater with tats, a Hispanic lady with a Mohawk partially bleached blond, and an older lady. We tried all 10 beers and with pretzel and then the fig and bacon pizza. Very good food.
(5)Mac M.
Ive been known to enjoy a good craft beer every now and then...and when i do, i like my beers like i like my women, the darker the better. The seasonal stouts here are great to say the least and toss in an order of the pub pretzels and a kidwelly pizza... cant go wrong. The downside here comes from having to go up to the bar to order - a small gripe but hey, customer convdnience matters.

You can't help but like Iechyd Da when you walk in. It just has a great feel and look for a local brewery. The food looked great, but we didn't try any. I had a flight of their 8 beers and thought they were good, but not great. Keep in mind that I'm a dark beer lover and too much hop bitterness turns me off. Being summer, there were mostly light or hoppy beers on tap. If I lived in the area, I would return and probably be a regular because of the great people, atmosphere and wait for the return of fall/winter beers.

Ok lets start off by saying that there a lot of good reviews on this place because it is really good. I was in town for business and found this place on Yelp, great find. I got a flight with 7 different beers and all of them were quite tasty except for one and I would just contribute this to my pallet. There were 3 food items that I ended up splitting with 2 other patrons that I meet that night. The first was a flatbread with smoked gouda, ham, arugula, and balsamic vinegar. I am not usually a fan of arugula but when it was paired with the other ingrediance it was awesome. The second was a root vegetable soup with cream fresh on top. When thinking root vegetables soup I don't get excited but it was a simple and semi-sweet soup, well balanced and a must try. The third item was a Rubén, hand shaved corn beef right there in the kitchen. This is a big sandwich and you get what you pay for. This is a place to stop for sure if you are in the area.
(4)Dan M.
I've been a regular here for two years and this is the first review that I've written. I love this place, the service is great, the food is great, and the atmosphere is different than any other Elkhart bar/restaurant It keeps bringing me back time and time again. Not to mention the beer is second to none. I highly recommend it.
(5)Dawn C.
This is the best Elkhart has to offer. I had the beer sampler and the kidwelly pizza - both were amazing. My favorite beers were the Red and the Stout. If you are in the area, stop here. Seriously.
(5)Jane Q.
Such a fun energetic, delicious place!!!! Am so happy to have gone here, tasted their delicious snacks, sandwiches, wine (even tho it is a beer pub)... Great atmorpohere, food, folks who work here....recommend highly!!
(4)Bethany S.
This place is great! This place is elkhart raised, family owned. So support a family and eat at this great place!
(5)Chrissy B.
Yes yes yes. Excellent beer, sandwiches are super tasty. I love the Brecon Beef. Seat yourself, and sometimes finding a table can be tough, but stick it out, belly up to the bar. If you're on the fence, just go.
(5)Paul P.
Must say. Elkhart. Surprised Amazing Irish pub. Amazing Ruben! Must order the Ruben good cider
(5)Cara L.
The only reason I can't give Iechyd Da, one of my fav places in Elkhart, 5 stars is because if you don't like crowds, this isn't the place for you. It can be tough to get a table, especially in the colder months, since they added their outdoor patio this year. Their food and beers are amazing and worth the wait but it can be kind of awkward, standing around, staring people down until they leave to snatch their seats. It isn't always like that - week day nights can be better but a typical Friday or Saturday night, prime time, can be frustrating and overwhelmingly loud for some.
(4)Amanda L.
Great gluten free pizza! They have many beers and also" featured guests" such as meads available. They usually have at least 1 gluten reduced beer on tap as well. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Outdoor seating available during warmer months.
(5)Matt M.
Great beer, inviting atomsphere and the food is outstanding! If you are in Elkhart, or need a place to grab a beer and some outstanding bar fare...this is the place!
(5)Amy H.
We finally found the time to visit Iechyd Da on a recent Sunday afternoon. We've been fortunate to have some great breweries pop up on the area, including our favorite Four Horsemen in South Bend, so we were anxious to try Iechyd Da and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 6:00 on a Sunday evening and the place was packed, but we were able to grab a couple stools at the bar. The atmosphere is great, warm and inviting with a variety of seating options. Everything is ordered at the bar. My fiance and I decided to share the sampler paddle which included each beer currently on tap. We started with the Blonde Ale which was smooth and light (good fit for those light beer drinkers). As we worked our way through the samples, Yam Bam Thank You Ma'am and Gumption stood out as my favs. My fiance's favorite was the Porter. After finishing our samples, I opted for a snifter of the Gumption and a pint of the Porter for him. The menu was great with a nice variety of appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches. We decided to order the Kidwelly Pizza - rosemary oil, ham, smoked gouda, mozzarella, arugula and balsamic - what a perfect combination of flavors (the beers were a perfect complement as well). Our only real complaint was the slow service, which really wasn't a big deal since we weren't in a hurry. It seemed like they were a little busier than expected and with everyone ordering at the bar, the bartenders were a little overwhelmed at times. However, they were always quick to clear our empty sample glasses and plates. Everything was very reasonably priced - our sample flight, two beers and a pizza came to $27. We will definitely be back!
(4)Jordan C.
Had the Dragon's Lair Imperial Coffee Stout and the Cardiff Carne pizza. Literally everything was perfect! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was great.
(5)Hillary V.
Great beer, especially their porter. This place is clean, and the bartenders are nice. The sampler is the best way to go. You get a decent sized tasting of any beers you choose, for $1 each. I tasted 6 which was enough to get a buzz.
(5)William M.
My favorite restaurant in Michiana. Good theme, environment, food and beer. Only complaint is I wish they were open on Mondays and had a branch in South Bend. They would clean up next to Notre Dame.
(5)Ginette K.
My favorite bar so far for this recently turned 21 year old. Fantastic atmosphere. House brewed beers are fantastic. Breakfast cookies is where it's at ;) Food is phenomenal. Atmosphere is always hopping. Fun and great place to be.
(5)Seth B.
A gem in Elkhart! Cheap prices and great drinks. The food is phenomenal as well! We have been here twice this week since we heard about it!
(5)Bryan Q.
Upon arriving eager for our new adventure we were swiftly approached by what seemed to be a manager or owner and told that due to state law we would have to leave because we had two infants with us and they brew on sight. While this seems perfectly acceptable my issue is as follows, with as common as it is to have children be apart of a large party why would this information not be posted? This seems to be bad business especially because there was no more than 10 people through out the entire building. Second, we managed to find another brewery only minutes away that brews on sight. We called and they allow children, which leads me to believe we were lied to.
(1)M. G.
Pizza dough is awesome, pizzas are so tasty, GREAT BEER. Wish they had the porter available today
(5)Nick K.
Nice place to grab a beer. The downtown area is really trying to turn itself around these day. I'm glad to see things like this brewery have opened up in the area.
(3)V P.
Amazing!!! Being from Chicago, I didn't think I'd be impressed by anything in Indiana. This place was great. We got the pretzel w/ the mustard and cheese sauce, so good. The cheese garlic bread, minestrone soup, rueben sandwich, and two pizzas rounded out the food. Everything was so delicious! Then we rounded it out with every micro beer on tap, I was not disappointed. I'd come here again and would look to being this to where I'm from!
(5)Brooke B.
Great food, beer, and atmosphere! Everything is priced very appropriately too! Definitely must go back especially when the garden is open!
(5)David L.
Unprepossessing exterior... which contains one of the, if not THE, best microbrewery I've yet visited. It certainly tops the list for Michiana, and it's giving my front-runner back home in Philly a run for its money as well. Innovative brews along with classics, a well-trained and helpful staff, some comfortable furniture, and a willingness to do things the right way (seriously, hand-pulled stout, yum) made for an excellent experience and one I intend to repeat in the near future. My only complaint is... actually... scratch that. The location isn't ideal but it's sufficient, so I can't really complain about it. On to the beer! My friend and opened with sampler flights, just to be sure we got the opportunity to try everything while still (somewhat) sober. Opened with the local blonde, which was, as advertised, a blonde ale. It was clean with a bit of citrus and a medium body. Good, classic, but not astonishing. The 1635 English Ale, on the other hand, was quite memorable: a scent dominated by roast malt, malty flavor with sweet, caramel undertones. Excellent. The Red Dragon Rye IPA was definitely one of the more unusual beers I've seen lately, but it works: it opens heavy and hoppy, but only mildly bitter, and finishes on a note of pure grain. Surprisingly clean and crisp for how heavy it was. We got the stout (forgot the name, remember the flavors well) both tapped and hand-pulled; the hand-pulled was VASTLY superior, to the point where I found myself loving a stout... bloody weird. Anyway, had a scent with notes of soy and malt, with a flavor dominated by roast malt and a bit of sweetness. Heavy body but creamy as hell, and excellent overall. The Bombardier Porter was decent, if ordinary- slightly sweet with caramel and chocolate, but oddly bitter afterwards. Not my thing but could be someone else's. They had an ale flavored with roast coffee in the cask. I don't remember a lot about it, aside from that it was one of their brews that was *stored* with roast coffee. As expected, it smelled and tasted remarkably like coffee. Roast scent underlying it all. Probably could have doused it in cream and sugar and drank it warm with minimal difficulty. Not sure if that's a good thing in a beer, though I liked it because I'm a coffee junkie. One thing to note: it was cold-infused, so not bitter at all. Don't let thoughts of day-old coffee dissuade you; when you steep coffee in cold liquid it can keep for weeks, while hot-brewed turns to sludge in twenty minutes. They also had the same beer in mint; shockingly, it tasted like mint. Not something I want in a beer, sorry. Last, but not least, was the Gumption Double Amber, which was ass-kickingly strong and quite excellent- somewhere between an amber and an IPA in flavor, with a very herbal/floral scent, a bit of hops in the flavor, and an herbal aftertaste. Almost reminded me of basil, actually. Not at all bitter. I've never had anything like it anywhere else... I wonder if they'll sell the brewing instructions? To summarize, the overwhelming majority of their beer list is excellent or good. They do the classics well, and innovation even better. The only thing I had of which I explicitly don't approve was the mint-infused ale, which was... more odd than bad. Everything else was good, at least, and the best of their list can compete with anything else I've ever had. Eat, drink, be merry, and do it here.
(5)Joshua O.
The homemade ginger ale was *fantastic* and the pizza was incredibly good. The atmosphere of the place is great. I don't visit Elkhart often, but this place is tops on my list for dining out there. I don't like beer, but I went with my brother-in-law and tried a flight. A couple of them I managed more than a couple of sips on, which is saying something for me. (The brother-in-law is a beer fan, and greatly enjoyed his as well as the remains of mine)
(5)Nick K.
Ate here a week ago for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was!! Recommend the Landimore garlic pizza if you can handle it!!! A garlic lovers wet dream!! My girlfriend had the Red Dragon on Rye aka reuben. She said the meat was a little fatty but still very good. Excited to go back. Oh yeah they have a lot of beer if your into that kind of thing:) . Definitely one of the better places in elkhart for quality food.
(5)Chris F.
This is one of my favorite places in Elkhart! Great Beer, Food, and Conversation. I love the open sit where you want. I have met some really cool people here. If you go here I promise you will not be disappointed.
(5)Carlos R.
When I saw the review I thought it was a great idea until I drove 20 min out of my way to arrive and see a sign that said No one under 21 allowed. Might help to put.
(1)C W.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't get better than this. Iechyd Da not only has great tasting beer and food, but also has a low price to match. $4.00 for ALL imp. pint craft brews on tap, $10.00 growler fills. I don't know how they do it but I really appreciate it!
(5)Shannon H.
I love this place!Great beer and food!
(5)Todd W.
Great food, good beer. This has become one of my favorite places to go.
(5)Danielle G.
Hometown Brewery at its finest. Cool decor, friendly wait staff, good food and great beer...what more could you want?
(4)Robert A.
If you are a craft beer person then you will just fall in love with the selection they have here. The food is outstanding. It's my favorite place to hang out with friends for great food and great beer.
(5)Angie P.
We've been here a few times and it never disappoints! Their beers are SO reasonably priced at $2 for a 1/2 pint and $4 for a pint! I have like everyone I've tried except one! The Breakfast Milk Cookie Stout has been my absolute favorite. On the weekends they have soft pretzels that are wonderful! Their pizza is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!! Try it, you'll see! There just isn't any other place like this in Elkhart! It such a great atmosphere! The staff is always friendly! I love that they have board games you can play at your table and the kid in me loves to get to draw on the walls in the bathroom! Certainly give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!
(5)Shani B.
This review is long over due! I've been here a handful of times for different occassions and each visit was a feel-good experience. Nice vibe, good beer, yummy sandwiches, most of the pizzas are good and the toffee pudding is incredible! My only gripe is the hours - it's an adult spot so I wish they would stay open later.
(5)Bryan N.
I have been to this bar several times and have never left unimpressed! They have plenty of beers on tap to fulfill my taste that day. The pizzas are some of the best I've ever had!
(5)Shanna M.
Visited for the first time this weekend. This place was definitely a little gem in downtown Elkhart. The beer was excellent and the pricing was killer. I had the Local Blonde, The English Mild and the Double Amber. All of them were excellent and the Double Amber was really strong, like don't drink more than two or your liver may cry. I split the pretzel and a Pizza (which I can't remember the name of) and they were great. The ingredients were fresh and interesting, the sausage was really spicy, which was a little shocking at first but I got used to it and it ended up being great. This place was definitely worth the visit and I plan on going again. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars was because of the noise level. It's a large open building that echoes and I had to shout to have a conversation
(4)Renee S.
I really liked it here, the beer is very good and the place was packed. They may need to expand already. More attentive bar service would make it a 5 star.
(4)Ashley G.
Beer is good. Food is good Service needs Help . The first time I came here the bartender was and man that looked like he should be out chopping wood with al Borland . I think he was mute because he did not smile or even talk . Second time here I ordered food and beer and all was good until the waitress with really short hair came to the table right after I just put a chip in my mouth and there was more in the basket I was eating . She grabbed the basket and then asked if I was done eating before I could answer her ,she had my food in her hand ! WTH is up with that . Never been rushed to eat like that . My suggestion is to hire FRIENDLY Staff . Ok I have been back in to yacka das and I would have to say they have defiantly made the changes. If I was to go in again today I would for sure give them a five star rating great food great service and great beer. Awesome place to chill or get a pizza...a must have is the pizza one of my favorite pizza in town love this place!
(5)Tom B.
Great beer, attention to detail in the food and drink, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere; Thanks for helping to bring back Elkhart downtown!
(4)Jason C.
Really good beer, the ginger ale was almost as good as the beer! Pizza was pretty good. Really liked the atmosphere inside.
(4)Stephen M.
Once again glad I went to Yelp to find a place on my travels. The beer was great -- a porter and a black ale. Service was also great --friendly, quick. Loved the atmosphere. Food was good. Pizzas are good. Need a bit of a pop of flavor, though. Chili oil, sea salt? But that's being critical. Very happy we went. Would definitely go again. And would recommend. Especially if you're traveling and stuck in the standard hotels around I-80. Easy to get to-- about 3 miles from exit 92 on the toll road. Good parking. Beers $6 / pint, pizzas around $10-$11. Side salad $3 -4. So much better than what I was expecting to find close to a tollway exit.
(4)Terry C.
Ordered the sampler and found all beer samples very good. Nice decor and atmosphere. Although the menu is limited to pizza and sandwiches, we loved the food. Definitely will go back again.
(4)sarah s.
Great place - beer is good and food is really delicious. I've had their pizza and it was really great - I think the best in Elkhart. They also allow for take out as well. Sandwiches are great too. I'm pretty excited that they make their own ginger beer! A bit spicy AND delicious. The inside of this place is pretty spectacular - nice and contemporary unlike most places in the area where you think you went back in time a couple decades. Staff is friendly too.
(5)Alison E.
This place is awesome! Their beer is absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches were great. The staff was wonderful. The music was good. The interior is comfortable, and the clientele is nice and generous with extra table space. It's a little bit loud, but only because everybody there is so happy and enjoying themselves. I plan to stop by any time I'm driving within 45 minutes of the place- their growlers and house-made sodas are affordable and delicious and are easily transported even if you don't have time to stop in for a pint and a sandwich.
(5)Chris M.
Best beer spot in the area. Killer pizzas and good sandwiches. Wish it wasn't so packed all the time, but still very awesome. Anybody visiting elkhart must stop in for a pint of their beer. Love the Revolution IPA.
(5)Chris S.
A fantastic brewery in Elkhart! Just opened on a couple of days ago. It is a breath of fresh, hoppy air in the Bud/Miller atmosphere that clouds Main Street. First off, this is the real deal. Do not expect a Granite City or BJ's type brewery. Think Greenbush, Bells, or if you are familiar with Pliny the Elder...Russian River in Santa Rosa, CA. Chalk board and all. Come to think of it, lots of places use chalkboards... The place certainly isn't the size of Bells, but the atmosphere does the best it can with the space it's got. If you are familiar with Bare Hands in Granger, it about two and half times the size. But the look and feel is a bit more sophisticated. Crate and Barrel comes to mind. I didn't get a chance to try the eats, but I their beer is quality. Six beers on tap today. You can sample anything on tap for $1. I was in a rush, so I didn't get a pint of anything. I just got a sample of a couple of them. Who am I kidding, I got all six. I do love my craft beers, but I had my wife and kids in the car waiting for me outside. They would've all come in, but no one under 21 is allowed. Don't judge me. Just give props to my wife for being so understanding, okay? Anyways, each beer lived up the description on the menu. Nothing skunky or out of place (unlike some of the homebrews I've made). Staff was friendly and ambiance was as beer nerdy as any other craft brewery I've been to. If you are looking for Bud on draft...don't go. Nothing wrong with Bud/Miller/Coors (at ball games and for use during beer pong), but there are plenty of dives for that. This place is a huge step forward for the area. It is sort of on the way home from work, (it's all relative) so I will be frequenting Yacky Da often. It takes some courage (balls) to open up an establishment like this no matter the location. Well done, Iechyd Da!!
(5)Matt F.
Stopped in last night and was impressed. Really nice atmosphere, which you can tell was designed from the start. It is unique, at least to me, in the area to be an open, flowing pub environment with couches, tables, and the bar. This is not your typical retrofitted bar! It was busy, but service was good and everyone having a good time, a great mix of people there. Bartenders and staff were very friendly as well. I had a pint of the Maiden Voyage and the Prosperity Pale Ale and both were awesome. The pizzas, although I didn't have one, looked great and made me hungry.. As a side note they have some nice flat panel tv's, a dartboard (bring your old school steel darts), a collection of board and card games... and nice restroom facilities. Also, plenty of parking.. good job on that. Elkhart really needed this, I hope they continue with success and recommend you get there and check it out!
(5)Jason R.
Fell in love with this place after my first visit. The atmosphere is great for relaxing with friends over a few pints. The place just oozes chill out. A great deal of thought and hard work was clearly put into this place. Even better are the beers. I only had the Local Ale and the Porter. Both were very tasty, clean, and very drinkable. I can not wait to try the rest. I didn't try the food, but will definitely be back. Ample parking. Very friendly staff. If you like craft beer and an inviting pub, this is the place for you! Update. Went back for the pizza and to try more of their beers. Everything was great! Their Ginger Ale is really special too. Pizza and pretzels are really damn good!
(5)Quinnton P.
It's a microbrewery, what's not to like. Go in there order something you haven't tried and love the place for being bold in this drab little town!
(5)Brian J.
Awesome Local Brewpub! Great beer, friendly staff and the amazing food is an added bonus. Joined the Mug Club before it sold out later that evening. Really cool mugs designed and made by local artist Rhonda Skinner.
(5)Isabelle P.
Really wanted to try this place but no kids allowed.....very disappointed
(1)James B.
Love the atmosphere and the food here ... and their beers are pretty damn good as well. One of those places were you can go spend the better part of a Sunday afternoon eating and sampling their beers and love every minute of it.
(5)Liz L.
I absolutely love this place! Yesterday was my second visit, and I finally got to try their food as well. The pizza is phenomenal. The double amber is one of the tastiest beers I've had in while and the atmosphere at this place is great. This is by far my favorite brewery in the area. Highly recommended!
(5)Paul J.
The beer is fantastic. 13 (an American Black Ale) is the best beer. If you can catch it on tap - you are in for a treat. When 13 is out of season, try Centurion (an English IPA) or Revolution (an American IPA). The food is good too. The menu is a bit limited, but the focus is beer, so, hey, what do you expect. Sandwiches, pizza, and a homemade pretzel with fantastic beer cheese. Don't get me wrong, the food they do have is pretty darn tasty - just not too much to try.
(5)Cody F.
This place is exactly what Elkhart needed. It's unique, inviting, and all together fabulous. Oh yeah and the food and beer are both awesome. My only complaint is that I wish they were opened on Mondays.
(5)Zack S.
Elkhart needs more businesses like Iechyd Da. I've had very, very few brews here that weren't awesome and the food is top notch. Overall, this is my favorite hangout in Elkhart.
(5)Sherry H.
Love this new-ish brewery. Good beer, good snacks, fun environment.
(5)Jeff H.
Stopped in finally at lunch today. Had todays special of bbq chicken pizza and root beer. Both were very good. Need to stop by sometime when I am not going back to work to try the beer.
(4)Pat A.
This place is great. The food never disappoints. I admit that I'm not much of a beer expert but love the seasonal raspberry for this summer and eagerly await the breakfast cookies this fall. I have tried almost all of the pizzas with no disappointment and the Muffaletta sandwich is marvelous. I've made and tasted many bread puddings but never, in my life, had anything as wonder-mous as their toffee date bread pudding. If you aren't close, this one is well worth the drive. Most everything is made in-house, not poured and re-served from the local restaurant food supply store.
(5)Justin K.
We came into town for a 4 day RV show. Found this restaurant on Yelp. Great place. We went on a Wednesday night about 7:30. Place was jumping, normally a good sign of good food. We shared 3 different pizzas and cheese sticks. All was fantastic and fresh. They also have there own micro brew, 8 choices, had 2 of the 8 and enjoyed them. Place had that pub feel for new friend conversations. I would go there again on this trip which I rarely do.

Wow! I never expected to find a trendy brew pub out in the middle of nowhere. Truly a hidden gem. The prices where great! One of the pizzas is enough for two to share. Perfect amount of food. We had the landimore garlic. It was amazing. The garlic and goat cheese were on point. Neither were overpowering. The beer I had was some type of "GR" beer it was light and refreshing. The atmosphere of this place is cool. You seat yourself and order at the counter. I like the communal thing. Since some tables are close together people were sharing their pizzas. Thought it was a fun and friendly way to mingle with other out of Towners and try other menu items.

This is not the best pizza place out there, nor is it the best brewery, but it combines the two facets in a really pleasant way. The beer is a refreshing change from the normal hit-or-miss fare of smaller micro-breweries--each beer we tried (the berliner weise, nut brown ale, blonde, and ESB) was professionally made, and suprisingly refreshing. They weren't mind-blowing, but they make you pause after the first sip, arch your eyebrows and nod to yourself, "Dang, that's good beer!" I tried the Landimore Garlic, and was a wee bit disappointed with the flavor. It basically just tasted like roasted garlic--way more mellow than I thought it was going to be. Still good pizza in terms of texture, crunch, cheese, etc., but again, wished it was a little more flavorful. The reuben was good as far as reuben's go, but nothing special. Additionally, this places *cans* their beer? Whaaaa? I think they're the only microbrewery in Indiana to do so, and their 22oz cans looked really tempting.

This is a great addition to Elkhart! It's always busy and ordering at the bar is a neat concept. The thin crust pizza is delicious. I love a good vegetable pizza and their Landimore Garlic has all that I could ask for and more. I saw that they have gluten free options, too. I have only tried the Harbour Master sandwich and that is yummy, too. As for beer, I recommend doing a beer flight to try all of their tasty brews. I have never had a bad beer here. Tats Rose has been my favorite so far with Centurion English coming in at a close second. I can't wait to bring my husband here to try!

We stopped into today while passing through Elkhart after finding on yelp. Everyone in our group loved it. The subs and pizza were great and they also had a glutten free crust option for a couple people in our group. It was the best glutten crust option I have ever had. We did a sampler flight of there beer option which was a great way to go to get a sample of there 10 options.....oh yeah.... $1 each by the way. Would strongly recommend if wanting a great local micro brew if in or near Elkhart.

Excellent. I am from Sacramento CA and travel for work a ton, and therefore eat out A LOT, and I must say that this is the best place to grab a beer, pizza, salad and or sandwich in all of Elkhart. Period. Jason at the bar will take good care of you and the place has a nice down home pub feeling to it. Thank you for the great meal and experience.

Great Food, Great Beer, Great Atmosphere! This place is comfortable and allows for great conversation. The menu is fantastic. Pizza and sandwiches are five star worthy.

This place is the best, affordable and brilliant thin crust pizza and crafted beer. I do think they should serve stout and porter all year. Definitely a must go!

Amber lager and summer wheatley were very tasty. We also had hummus with fresh carrot stick/spent grain toast. The hummus was light and smooth the roast was great. The Kidwelly pizza w/ arugula and balsamic set the tone for our beers. We will return

Extremely impressed. Wife and I went there for dinner and a walk on the Elkhart River Walk. Just a nice relaxed casual atmosphere with a good crowd, great wait staff/bar tenders (or whatever they call them in a Welsh style craft beer restaurant and bar) and lots of unique but good beer. I had a wheat (Weiss) beer( can't think of the name of it but it had raspberry taste in it too) wife had a bottled cider. Probably wouldn't do the cider again but the Weisse was amazing and I'm not a real micro brew kinda guy. Made me wanna come back and try the different beers now. Pizza was amazing (had the vegy) and even the spinach salad was good (had to add bacon though- needed some protein with all the veg). Even the table water was unique- you get it from the cooler yourself and it's in a glass growler with chilled glasses next to it. For the first time here we really enjoyed ourselves and liked the location which allowed us to park across the street and walk off some of those carbs at the River Walk. We will be back.

Dude. This place speaks for itself. I really shouldn't have to even write a review other than this tidbit of advice: Go here. Va aqui. Your life will not be complete without coming to Iechyd Da. Come. Let the beer claim you and keep you in its charm. It's delicious refreshing taste from IPAs, to Stouts, to Porters. Keep your appetite ready for some delicious tasting pizzas with interesting toppings and combinations. But seriously. Come here. Drink the beer. It's a seraphic experience that will leave you hungering for more.

Great pub food and great beer. Being the sole brew pub in a town the size of Elkhart is a brilliant move. If you live in a town of 50-100k with no brew pubs, this place serves as a great model to duplicate in other towns.

So you might think that with a name like this that they might be a sushi place but this is the farthest thing from sushi. We were here on a busy Saturday night and it was standing room only. Just so happened that a couple got up from the bar just as we walked past and they offered us their seats...thank you! That have us a one on one with the bartender who was awesome to say the least with the willingness to share all of his beer knowledge with us and the other people sitting near us. We had some amazing craft brews and ordered some specialty arugula and ham pizza drizzled with balsamic which was arguably one if the best pizzas I ever had. We met some people from Oregon that were traveling and they liked the place as much as we did. We shall return as soon as we can...

Really good beer at ridiculously low prices, and good pizza too: it's pretty much exactly what you want in a brewpub (ok, maybe more vegetarian options and fewer crowds would have been nice). Northern Indiana surprises me again. They offer 5 ounce pours for $1 (crazy, right?), so you can try a lot of different beers. I had the Cantankerous Irish Red Ale and the Syndicate Black Rye. I liked them both, but I loved the dry ending to the red ale. The Landimore pizza (roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts, mozzarella, goat cheese) was quite good, and they let me sub out the sun dried tomatoes for kalamata olives (yay for substitutions). Definitely check it out if you are in Elkhart or driving through Indiana on the tollway.

Great beer and GREAT food. It is loud, often crowded and not ideal seating. But, I will keep going back and it is one of my favorite places to meet!

As soon as you walk in the door you know you're in the right place. It's busy. You know how every barstool is taken usually means except for a few singles between people that kind of act as space maintainers? Here every stool is occupied. So is every table, but if you spot an open seat at a table don't be bashful. This is a pub and pub seating is like family style. The next thing you know you're sitting next to a friend you've never met before with a BOP beer you won't find elsewhere and a sandwich or pizza or whatever on the menu you fancy and guess what? You are a happy camper. And after that delicious smokey muffuletta coupled with the citrusy local blonde you're nicely satisfied and refreshed. A black ale to follow and it's surprisingly like an IPA, so switch to the sweet by comparison Amber ale and then wouldn't you know it ... closing time. Wonderful assortment of brews. A great menu of delicious choices, not your typical pub fare. Friendly staff and welcoming regulars. Awesome place. If I lived here it would be my local, but I don't. To quote Arnold ... "I'll be back." To put it another way... "lechyd da!"
