seriously, the food Is really great...we had heard that the prices were high before our first trip, but after trying the food, the quality is worth the price....we have been 3-4 times and love the convenience of taking the kids along to a place were mom and dad can have a beer or drink with dinner and yet the food is pleasing to the whole family. love the décor, love the large TVs so you can watch the sports, only disappointment is that Diesel's isn't open on Sundays to watch the football games....waiting for that day to come, gonna Facebook friend them tonight..........

Sure it's a bit dreadful to pay $12-$14 for a burger & fries, but heck, even with the occasionally spotty service I'm willing to pay that much for a burger that has been loved on, cooked properly, and dressed up in the finest condiments in a way that only happens at Diesel's. And you know, last time I brought my wife & son here the service was fine; it was just the previous few times that the service was maybe a bit disorganized. You know, food coming out at different times, wing sauces forgotten, but it's not a huge place so it's not hard to track somebody down. And actually, I'm a big fan of standing, so no worries.

This was my first trip into my hometown establishment as Diesels. I've been in the location as it was two previous longtime establishments. The remodel of the inside is wonderful, clean, and simple. They have roped/isolated the bar to allow for family dining as well. The staff is outstanding. They offer 3 or 4 local craft beers. Their burgers look amazing. I had the breaded tenderloin and it was one of the best I had in a long time. Presentation, fries, everything was great. We will definitely be back and I recommend making a stop here if you pass through town.

This was a great place to grab a pub burger and a beer. The pub pretzels were a great appetizer and the main entree did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and there was separation from the bar making it family friendly as well!

Diesel's is by far the best place to grab a bite in town. Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. 50 cent wing Wednesday is nearly a staple in my week! And their ranch and ketchup are both homemade and to die for. I consistently have fantastic service and food at Diesel's!!

Had a really good burger and beer here. The Philly burger is a total mess but so tasty. My wife got the tenderloin and was also impressed. I would come back in a heart beat.

This is one of the worst places I have ever eaten. We ordered wings as they are known for. They only have boneless and the sauce wasn't very good either.

We're locals and Diesels has been a welcome addition to Dville. 99% of the time food is fast, fresh and hot. Try their lunch specials. Very fast, affordable and delicious. My fave is the hot Dagwood. Service when busy can at times be sketchy but the beer is cold and plenty of sports on big screens to bide your time. Tax and fries included in all pricing. I'd recommend the Southwest wings with a side salad w/ blue cheese or build a burger. My go to burger is blue cheese, bacon, over easy egg and sirracha cream. The O rings are awesome. We love it and typically go once a week when the wife or myself don't want to cook. It's all good IMO

French fries were Perfectly seasoned and fried. Just enough crisp bite and seasoning. And the dipping sauce, Wow!!. So good should be illegal. I had the mac attack burger with bacon and jalapenos. What a hot juicy awsome mess!!. Servers and all the staff went out of their way to help and check up. GREAT JOB!!

I was looking for somewhere to eat around Danville after 10 pm other than Steak and Shake, and discovered this place. Just down the street from the Mayberry Cafe, Diesel's is half bar and half restaurant, but it's fine for families. They have a cool mural of a truck stop on the walls, and the front end of a semi behind the bar. We started with the nachos, adding the pulled pork. They use freshly fried tortilla chips which were then covered with white queso, diced tomatoes and jalapenos, served with guacamole on the side. They were crispy and tasty, with a nice smoky flavor from the pork. The burgers can be ordered as build your own, or you can select one of their specials. We had one which came topped with crumbled Italian sausage, marinara sauce and buffalo mozzarella, and was cooked perfectly to medium well as ordered. The brioche bun did a great job of soaking up the sauce and fat without turning too mushy. The other burger was topped with shrimp in a Cajun sauce and was equally satisfying. The fries have a light batter coating which kept them hot and crispy. A side of mac and cheese with bacon and jalapenos was quickly devoured by my son. Prices averaged about $12/person for entrees ... this might sound a little steep for burgers and fries, but these are so far from ordinary, and to support a new local business, I think it's totally worth it. My family is looking forward to going back.

We went here this evening around 6pm Saturday June 7th. I was starving and they were pretty busy. It is not a very large place, and the tables were way too close together for my liking. You were pretty much back to back with the people behind you. We ended up sitting at the bar since it was so cramped. Coke products blah but for it being coke it was pretty good. We both ordered a cocktail and they were pretty strong pours. We ordered chicken strips and pretzels for appetizers. The tenders are hand breaded and I always prefer that. I wish they would put some seasoning on them though. A little garlic makes chicken taste great. The honey mustard they use is awesome. The pretzels were good but the queso that they had to dip them in was better. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger which was really good, they use a brioche bun. It came with season fries and again I used the honey mustard to dip them in. They were good but I wish that I had gotten onion rings since the one on my burger was so good. The bacon was pretty good too, so many places have gotten cheap with the bacon so I am calling this one out. Justin was our server and service could have been better but he was pretty busy. I think time management is an issue hear just as an observer. Maybe a little more teamwork. Everyone was nice and friendly just not very fast paced. It is a locals place so you can easily get ignored if they get wrapped up in conversations with the regulars. They had the horse race on teh big screen TV. We will go back for sure. I took off one star for the service not being spectacular. Newcomers can be regulars if you dont ignore them and treat them right.

Great place with great food. We eat here frequently and have yet to have a bad meal. Addition of steaks on Saturday is an added bonus. Good place to bring the kids also.
