On our road trip, this was a perfect place to stop and get a variety of food. They serve breakfast food all day. Reasonable prices, good food and great friendly service!

I'm not sure what you had to eat but my gyro was dry salty and tasteless. the meat had been way overcooked and looked like sliced road kill. I will admit that the fries were hot and tasty. The service what there was of it, was totally indifferent. If this is your only option , go hungry. Trust me on this one

The menu is vast (think Denny's) and offers the variety of the Midwest, everything from plate specials and burgers to stir-fry and pasta dishes. The waitstaff is pleasant and the atmosphere is par for the course.

Born and raised in Covington, this is a GREAT place for breakfast and lunch! Had breakfast of French Toast and Bacon! EXCELLENT!

We were trying to meet my in laws at the Beef House but they were closed. A quick search on Yelp led us to Benjamins. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. 3 of the 4 of us had the tenderloin sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Nicely breaded, fried and not dry at all. Yum! I had the rib eye sandwich which I would definitely recommend. It was cooked to order (I had medium rare) and huge. All the portions were really big and the food was inexpensive. I have a feeling we'll definitely be back. If you are in the area, definitely stop by!

Like another reviewer, we stumbled on Benjamin's by mistake while antiquing in western Indiana. We knew it must be good based on the parking lot being full. It was fantastic! I had 3 big pieces of walleye, fries, corn, and a side salad. Friend had all you can eat fried chicken, corn, mashed potatoes and side salaed. Neither of us could finish it all and the bill was only $17 for both of us! Waitress was also friendly and attentive. Can't wait to hea back!

Very friendly staff. Large menu, sure to be something you like. Many daily specials. I agree that this is the best breaded tenderloin I have ever found. We often drive from Danville IL for a meal.

Wow what a find in small town America. We were antiquing through rural Indiana and found this restaurant. I had the jumbo breaded tenderloin sandwich, which turned out to be the best tenderloin I have ever eaten bar none, and the sandwich came with very good french fries all for $4.50. My wife had the grilled prime rib sandwich which she loved. The staff were friendly and service was good. First impressions were that this is just your run of the mill mom and pop restaurant, but if the other menu items are as good as our lunch, then this is a real find. Covington is off of our normal travel route, but we will have to think about changing our route just to get back to this restaurant to try it again.
