Great place for pho in columbus. Friendly service. Great food. Im never disappointed here.

I love this place. The food is amazing, the service is exceptional, and the prices are great. My husband isn't a fan of anything not in pizza or cheese burger form, but he actually really liked what he ordered, and surprisingly ate it. I can't recommend this place enough!

Best Japanese/Vietnamese around! Wonderful addition to Columbus, when you live in a town that has 2 Walmart's, and 2 of very fast food place around, it was nice to set foot in a place that doesn't smell or taste like the bottom of a fryer. PS: Columbus get a Whole Foods, a Trader Joe's and a Super Target on the west side of town and you will be a place where people could actually get healthy and not have to shop around filth.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I had the spring rolls which were tasty and so was my salmon sashimi but the sushi rolls weren't all that I guess I just wasn't impressed.
(3)Dan K.
One of the best places in C-Bus! The sushi is top notch and miso soup is always so good!
(5)Christine T.
Great food combined with excellent service! We had Rainbow rolls, California Rolls And Hibachi...nothing but raves!
(5)Ben R.
Stopped in for lunch. The place was extremely busy but my server was friendly and attentive. I had the panfried noodles with chicken, it was very good and very filling.

Food = 5 Price = 4 Experience = 4 The location and interior are average... but, the food is top notch! The sushi and sashimi combo was great!
(4)Amanda F.
So many options! The veggie pho is tasty as well as the sushi and vermacelli. Everything comes out piping hot and at a great price. Do not order the boxed saki. I repeat, do NOT order the boxed saki. Yes, it is cheaper than other places, however it is not nearly as smooth as other cheap saki I have had at other restaurants. Please Pho Shiki, find a new house saki. Service is great. Each time I go, I never have to ask for another drink or a clean napkin, etc. The space is very clean and the decor is that of your typical ethnic, oriental restaurant. However, it would be nice if they replaced the super bright fluorescent fixtures in the front and towards the back of the restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and the wait staff is wonderful! Our typical waiter is John and we come in so much now that he knows our order by heart. The first time I went, I tried the hibachi and it was simply delicious. I tried a few other items before settling on my favorite, the Pan Fried Noodle Combo (Pho ap chao Thap cam). Also, I usually get the house salad and the ginger dressing is NOMS. I wish I could get a bottle of it to take home, seriously. The dumplings and sushi are also good. Wish I could pick this place up and take it to Indy.

Wow. I grew up in Yorba Linda / Fullerton, CA so I grew up eating alot of pho. I have also lived in Denver and KCMO and I have to say, this is the best pho I've had since moving from the West Coast. Which was a surprise to say the least! In little Columbus, IN. I'm so glad we stumbled on this gem while here to shoot a wedding!! I talked to the owner and he is from Wesminster, CA (a Vietnamese hub not too far from Fullerton) and his dad has been doing this for 30 years! I got the combo bun and and my husband got the combo pho. Unbelievably good. Fresh. Balanced. Delicious. Hands down the best pho in the Midwest.
(5)Caroline C.
Everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the Thai iced tea, which was more like a dessert sweet tea. I also got sushi and the beef pho, both of which were wonderful. The service was great and very friendly. They also have fried ice cream, which I didn't have room for, unfortunately. I really enjoyed eating here and I can't wait to visit again.
(5)Tina A.
Best sushi in the surrounding area and at the best prices. The rice noodle house soup is the best I've ever had with a unique taste that's so yummy I don't have the words to describe it.
(5)Lily H.
I'm an in awe of a place that actually have decent pho in the midwest. I have really really high standards for pho especially coming from Florida, so I'm quite impressed with this place. And it's the perfect remedy for cold weather or just a tiring day coming back from skiing at Perfect North! 2 thumbs up!!
(4)VM B.
The only place in Columbus to order Pho. Good thing its good! Portions are sizable, waiters are friendly, food is delicious. Nuf said.
(4)Doug B.
Had beef and tripe pho on a dare. It was excellent. I will have it again. The combination specials are good for couples who don't like the same thing.
(5)Ryan M.
So everyone on here really likes this place, but I have to admit, that my experience was not very good. The food was below average. Had a funny taste, and came out really fast. The steak was okay, the scallops where small, and overall, just not very good.
(1)Eric E.
I went in with the plan of having one of the rice dishes, shredded pork to be exact...but then I saw the sushi on everyone's table...We had the pho shiki roll, diva roll, and the crunchy munchy rolls.Purely amazing, caviar (flying fish) on top of the pho roll was amazing..service was great, and very helpful with my 20 questions, I wanted to try the quail egg shot but unfortunately they were out...gives us an excuse to come back next time we're in town for shopping and good times. I highly recommend this establishment! Cheers!
(5)Zach H.
I'm sure the rest of the menu is great but I can't stop ordering the sushi. Best California roll I've ever had
(5)Sean D.
Was really surprised when my parents suggested a Vietnamese and Japanese restaurant in Columbus. One of the best Asian restaurants I've ever visited.
(5)Tony L.
Coming from California, where Vietnamese food is abundant, it was great to have something familiar because one can only eat so much pizza, hot dogs, or steaks. The spring rolls are very good. Yellowtail sashimi w ponzu sauce and jalepenos were second to none. We also had the fried rice as an entree and that was very authentic and tasteful.
(4)Leigh E.
After multiple visits it is extremely apparent that Pho Shiki's sushi is the best dang sushi on this here part of American soil. All jokes aside, I won't be going anywhere else for sushi. I would drive a distance (100 hours) to just get a whiff of the Pho Shiki roll. But really. Don't go anywhere else. PHO SHIKIIIIIII PHO LYF #thug
(5)Matthew D.
Smallish Midwest city + reasonably priced sushi = ...YUM! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Its a little basic on the interior but the service is good and the sushi was nice and fresh
(4)Tiffany G.
Our food was ok. I think the waitress could of paid a bit more attention to us. And describe the menu. I don't think she knew the menu
(3)Alex M.
You wouldn't think you would be able to find good sushi in Indiana, but this is literally the best sushi bar I've ever been to -- anywhere. They offer anything from your basic rolls (California, Philly, etc.) to very exotic rolls. The hibachi is also worth getting. Tilapia is really good!! Great seasoning!
(5)Stan L.
Nice clean place with some great sushi. I'd definitely recommend checking this out if you're into sushi!
(5)Neil F.
Not only is there a pho place in Columbus, there's a really good pho place in Columbus. Best pho I've had (mind you I'm poor & have only had pho in Indiana). Everything else I've tried is good (sushi, hibachi) but it's the rare steak pho that keeps me coming back.
(5)Brad T.
This place has excellent pho. It was as good as the best indy has to offer. The pho tasted great without adding hoisin sauce (if you have to put hoisin sauce in your pho, go someplace else), or any of the basil, peppers or lime they server with it. We did add those after savoring the flaver as is and they bumped the flavor yet another level. The noodles were also cooked perfectly. Often these get overcooked. but they were al dente when served giving them a bit of room to further cook as you ate. the mi xao don also had a good flavor. We liked the crunchy noodles which often disappoint us on this dish. but these were thin, light and crunchy, softening as they soaked in the sauce. There were plenty of veggies. We got this with chicken which was all dark meat. Some of the pieces were stringy and some just unappetizing. We would have preferred white meat here. Usually this dish comes with beef, chicken and shrimp. but they only let you choose one. Next time (and I hope there will be a next time), we'll go for the beef. the only disappointment was the goi con roll. Usually we love these but it's hard to find a good peanut sauce. This sauce was a bit runny. But the roll itself we didn't like and weren't sure why. Maybe it was the pork which instead of being bbq'd tasted like a dry roast. Or the shrimp which was flat and tasteless. or the cheap iceburg lettuce cut too large. not sure. but it was a miss. the wait staff were great and attentive. The service was fast. the restaurant was maybe a third full. We got our apps in a few minutes and our mains in less than 10.

Staff was super friendly, very helpful, and the food was fabulous. My super picky younger daughter loved the fried dumplings! It was a wonderful first time having pho, a great birthday dinner with the family!

Bottom line: a real gem in a small town that serves top quality sushi and good vietnamese food! I can not say enough good things about this place! I've had my fair share of nigiri and sashimi in this place. It's the only place I would go for sushi in the entire midwest. Worth the drive every single time. The fish is top quality and the sushi/sashimi combo is a steal. If you love fish, just come and sit at the bar, order any sushi/sashimi combo and let Kevin do his magic. If I am to order separately, my favorite nigiri here is scallop. Amazing texture! White tuna and yellowtail are also great. In terms of sushi rolls, alaska roll is simple but surprisingly good. Spicy crab roll that comes with sushi combo 2 is also good. The vietnamese portion of menu is decent. I love the pho #4 (with cooked beef, rare beef and beef tendon) and chicken vermicelli. Also try Habachi chicken and char-boiled chicken in the lunch combinations. They are all great deals for under $10!
(5)Kiyoko M.
I came with my colleagues for dinner. It was pretty good to have Pho when the weather is cold. Good customer service and price is reasonable!
(4)Patricia N.
Superb service and really great pho. Seriously, it's on par with what my mom makes. My family stopped in after a visit to Edinburgh Outlets. My brothers both got the extra large bowls of pho and essentially licked their bowls clean. My dad got a large bowl and killed it as well. My mom tried the Crispy Egg Noodles, while I got the Shaken Beef. It's pretty certain, we'll be back! Wish

Yummy! Had the spicy tuna roll as usual and tried a few others and they were all good! I am usually not a huge fan of Japanese fried rice, but I loved it here! I had their pho as well and it was very very good! Hit the spot when I was sick. When you order take out for pho it's nice that they give you the broth and everything else in separate containers that you put together when you get home so it's fresh and not soggy or anything. It's quite awesome! It's right near where my in laws live so when I am in town and want some awesome pho I always go there! Good price and fills me up completely! The staff is also very nice as well and check on your table. Atmosphere is mellow, good place to bring family and chat or kids as well! Really enjoyed it!:)
(4)David K.
AWESOME PHO!!!! I have learned how to prepare it. Every time I enjoy it here, I learn more. This place is a jewel. Blessings Pho Master. Fr. Dave
(5)Yvonne M.
My second time here and it hasn't disappoint me at all. I'm surprised that Columbus has better pho than Bloomington do. The Tendons are soft and silky and the Phoshiki rolls are to die for. And yes, I'd travel all the way from Bloomington for these!
(5)Eric E.
I like Pho, never been let down here. Good roll sushi. And I can get a Thai tea to-go
(4)Jennifer G.
Love this place, the sushi is great. Not impressed with their hours of operation or service but love the sushi!
(4)Emma S.
We ordered sushi and pho carryout. The sushi wait was over an hour and the pho was mediocre.
(2)Yumi M.
We go there every Friday night! I like to sit at the Sushi Bar and watch Kevin, the Master Sushi Chef prepare fantastic Sushi! I've tried many different kinds of dishes by now and I haven't come across that I did not enjoy yet! Their food is that good, both Vietnamese & Japanese! Jessica is the best server there! You can find us at the Sushi Bar Friday night! :)
(5)Tina D.
The best hibachi shrimp ever. Lots of shrimp. The veggies were done perfectly and so yummy I didn't even use the sauce much. The vermicelli was great, too. Very skimpy on the shrimp, though. The prok was very unique AND delicious! We prefer the oolong over the green tea. Reasonable prices, too. Their business is picking up. Glad to see a successful CBus restaurant. Tonight we are going to Ichibon in Indy and I don't think it will compare! The service is always great and very personable.
(5)Jennifer S.
Service was slow and unpleasant. Food was substandard, especially the "dessert". Sushi was ok but nothing to get excited about. Poor experience. Will not be returning.
(1)Carlos L.
How do you serve pho without a side of basil? The side dish had less than a handful of bean sprouts, two slices of jalapeño and no basil. Wanted so bad to love this place but I was truly disappointed at the lack of thought and craft in the pho. I mean, they used pho in their name, so I was expecting some legit pho.
(2)K B.
Visited for dinner. I got a sushi roll and cucumber salad. Both very good. Hubby got hibachi beef, which he enjoyed. Service was a little slow but we went soon after the grand opening so I expect it will continue to improve. Rating will go up to at least a 4 with faster service. Will definitely go back.
(3)Melissa W.
AMAZING! Had the best yellow tail I have had since I was in San Francisco...which is so surprising considering I was in the middle of IN. And the Pho was so fresh I felt like I should be sitting in Vietnam somewhere. In addition our waitress was phenomenal and very knowledgable and super friendly. Will make sure I drive out of my way to come back again!
(5)Jordan W.
I love their pho and sushi. The service is always great. Just a great restaurant.
(5)Laura T.
Delicious! My family enjoyed the variety of choices available on the menu, from the eponymous pho (a beef broth rice noodle soup) all the way to sushi. My husband enjoyed the well-done beef pho and some lovely firm salmon rolls. I adored the shrimp and pork vermicelli (bun) - beautiful presentation and incredible taste. The plum sauce and Sriracha on the table were a welcome addition to the meal. Service was excellent - our waitress was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return here!
(5)Becky T.
The service was good, but the sushi was mediocre. I'm not sure the salmon was actually sushi grade...I sent my roll back and they explained that it was actually the best piece they had. So they remade it with a lesser piece which didn't actually make it better though I appreciated the gesture.
(2)Tony N.
Everything they serve here looks delicious and taste even better.. Will definitely come here every time I'm here and about. Ask for John, he's a Really funny dude and very helpful. Pho real to the bun rieu!
(5)Gregg S.
I liked this place a lot less then the rest of my family who probably would give it a 4 to 5 stars. I think I just do not like Pho, thus biasing my review. The spring roll was fresh and tasty. I plan to go back and give this another shot
(3)Randal L W.
Good food. Currently experiencing too much success...slow service. But they are hiring
(4)Wesley W.
I have eaten at Pho Shiki twice. I found it to be just alright. I have tried the hibachi and teriaki chicken. The house soup is just ..... terrible. It tastes like chai tea with beef broth. The vegetables were always soggy and overcooked when I would get them. The sushi is good. It's not my first pick if Im gonna go spend money.
(2)Lindsey H.
My husband I ate at this restaurant twice already and enjoyed the food and service. The rice noodle soup and sushi are excellent. We even tried their house special desert and bean coconut milk desert. I also liked the rice paper spring rolls. I recommend this restaurant!
(4)Jason M.
Absolutely love this cuisine. This Japan Vietnamese is good and the service on par. Love eating in and out.
(5)Elle M.
I'm Vietnamese & enjoy cooking home made dishes, but some times it's nice to go out & enjoy some one elses cooking. Although I can make pho at home, there isn't much of a choice for asian grocery stores close by so I don't make pho as often as I'd like. We found this restaurant & thought we'd give it a try. We ordered Pho & some sushi (tuna & yellow tail). The pho broth was very oily, barely any noodles, & would have been nice to have had some thai basil along side the beansprouts & jalapenos. We had to order an extra side of rice noodles to add to our soup. As far as the sushi, never seen sushi served so minimal. Had to ask that there be no mayo in the sushi. Just not what sushi should be, disappointed. It was like they made it for a kindergarten class. The rolls were so little. If you know what pho & sushi should look & taste like, this is NOT the place to eat. Over priced compared to others & service was ok.
(1)Dan K.
Really good. Reasonably priced. Some different items. Try the Spring Roll...
