Typical longhorn visit. Sat at the bar.... We ordered steaks and they were spot on.... And came out pretty quick... Tasted great like always.... Did get left hanging without a drink for a while before finally got a refill.... And place isn't busy.... So take that as you will.

We had an amazing dinner last night. The food and service was perfect! The salad had fried cornbread with giant sliced tomatoes and bacon! We shared the porterhouse for two. It was cooked just right and was melt in your mouth tender. Our server Ashley made it a perfect experience.

I get a LOT of carry-out for my wife here, and they accommodate her special orders well. Although it's primarily a steak place, I'm in love with the chicken strips, and so is my teenage daughter: slightly sweet, flaky batter is the best description I can assemble, but very good with honey mustard. Put that beside a sweet potato, with butter and brown sugar, and it's my favorite meal in town. I'm not a big salad fan but theirs is really good. Every now and then we add the dessert sampler with New York cheesecake, chocolate mousse cheesecake and hot apple bourbon pie, with a touch of ice cream and everyone goes home happy. The food is decent, atmosphere is fairly casual, doesn't feel too stuffy.

Let's set expectations before we go any further. If you're expecting an experience, an amazing meal or a lasting memory of the food, then you're barking up the wrong tree. If you want a decent steak and good service, then you can do much worse. LongHorn is a typical steak house that blasts you with reminders of cattle, cowboys and all the romance of where you want to believe this slab of meat in front of you came from. You know it is from a feed lot, but you want to think it was driven up from the Rio Grande by rough and tumble men on horseback. I get it. That's fine. You won't find peanut shells on the floor. The dining area is clean and well-kept. Management cares and this is important. The food is good, though not particularly memorable. You can likely grill a better steak at home. I know my flat iron steak is superior to the one I ordered here, but I also don't make hundreds per week. The selection of sides is very good and branches out past the usual "baked potato with butter and sour cream." The brussle sprouts were actually quite good, though most things are when you cover them in cheese and bacon. Portions of everything but the steaks are large. The steaks average smaller than what you would get at other area steak chains, but the sides and appetizers are pretty sizable. Service was very good. There was virtually no wait on drinks, food all came out at the same time, server was pleasant. I guess you could list it at "Meets Expectations." I don't think I'll be a regular, but overall, pretty good!

Like this location. Always able to grab a bar seat and the service is exceptional. The food is great and the service makes me choose this restaurant in this road of abundant selections easy. Nice atmosphere in the bar area dim lighting and a few Tvs to see the games being played.

Whatever you do don't arrive at 4pm when the shift changes. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but we were told there was a wait because the shift was changing. The interpretation of that was "we don't have sufficient staff to wait on your table." What happened to doubling up, what happened to taking care of the customer? Okay, enough griping... The food was what you would expect at a chain steak house and overall pretty good. The 8 oz filet and prime rib was cooked to order and was quite tasty although the prime rib had too much salt on the outer rim. Baked and sweet potato were fresh and cooked perfectly. The parmesan crusted chicken came out pretty brown on top as if it was left under the broiler too long. Our excellent server, Sasha, offered to return it but we decided it was okay as is. There was way too much cheesy topping on it and the serving was enough to feed our whole table if the rest of the party was not devouring a cow! For desert, we ordered the "Chocolate Stampede" ( $8.29) which was even too much for 4 people. It was a concoction of ice cream and chocolate cake with lots of whipped cream. If you like to over indulge..order this. Overall, the food was adequate but the confusion shown in the staff on seating set a bad tone for the meal. Upper management needs to get their act together and hire and train a good front staff.

I discovered LongHorn's Flavorful Under 500 menu while doing an online search for restaurants with light dining options. Eager to try someplace new my boyfriend and I headed in to try their menu last weekend. While there we encountered impecible service and delicious food. I ordered the Sierra Chicken which was a bright plate of chicken topped with tomatos and basil and a side of perfectly seasoned greenbeans. This meal was absolutely delicious. The fact that it was light was just a bonus.

The food tasted ok and the service was great but wow did my waistline take a hit. You aren't going to leave here hungry that's for sure. My wife and I had steaks and they were cooked properly but weren't exceptionally flavorful. They were just good steaks.

We've been to Longhorn several times and it is always solid on food and service. The wait times can get long at times but that is only a reflection of many people know what a good job they do. While I have tried many things on the menu the one thing that time and again jumps out at me is the 7 pepper sirloin salad. They cook a steak that is amazingly seasoned and place it on top of a salad. For a chain restaurant it is very solid. The menu won't blow you away with creativity but there is a good chance the steak will.

Almost impossible for them to cook your steak medium well. They are sure to overcook it. Besides that, the food isn't bad. I suggest the chicken fingers, salad and mac-n-cheese.

First off, if you go to a Longhorn, there really shouldn't be any surprises. It's a chain and not an especially great one. The ambience will be the usual formulaic is somewhat bizarre mix of cowboy and hunting stuff. The food is decent if outrageously uninspired. The service will depend on your luck, in my case, it was very pleasant. The thing here is, Longhorn simply doesn't ever rise above itself. You'll never encounter an inspired chef, an articulate and passionate server and menu choices that will surprise you. It's the same everywhere and that's by design. Stopped in for lunch. I order the 6oz "Renegade Sirloin". I have no idea what was renegade about it. It might have the smallest ball of sirloin I've ever seen but it was prepared exactly as I ordered it and had the very average flavor I would expect at a Longhorn Steak House. If Longhorn if you're only choice which, come on, these places are always clusters with other similar national chains, then you could do worse but the thing to remember is, you could *so* much better.

Years ago we tried this restaurant and were a little disappointed. This year we tried it again, and LOVED it! We have returned at least half a dozen times and every time we have been thoroughly satisfied. The atmosphere is appealing. Great tasting drinks. The staff is friendly ad helpful. The bartenders are very gracious and helpful for drinks while waiting for a table. and as for the food.... The Wild West Shrimp appetizer is TERRIFIC! The steaks are savory and good quality. I choose the sirloin and my husband likes the fillet. My steak is always wonderful, but his Fillet just MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH! This has been our favorite restaurant of the year and probably for next year too!

Went here when they were having a 2 dinners for $30 special and had a great time. The wait was kind of long, but worth it. Our food was good and the dessert was shockingly good. We had the chocolate stampede which is normally around $8, but it would definitely serve 4 adults.
