Stayed here last week when I flew in for a niece's graduation from a Bible College close by. The staff was great, my flight got me in town before check in time but they had no problem giving me a room (some hotels have a real problem with that even if they have clean rooms available early). The room was very clean and I was there for 2 nights, 3 days and just left my "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door so they didn't need to clean before I checked out and no one knocked on the door to "check". This was my second stay and both were great, and price was reasonable slightly higher than others in the area but it is kind of in the middle of nowhere but easily accessed from the 80/90 Turnpike and I94. Loved the closeness to Bob Evans too!

Nice room. I stayed here years ago after our opened. Its in great shape. It hasn't gone downhill. Price is kinda high but this whole area is high. They have a bar and restaurant on site plus AJs, Culvers and Bob Evans right across the street. It's a legit hotel. It's no dump.

Hard to argue with this hotel. Ideal for access to Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and State Park (just a few miles away). Just 2 miles away from some really nice dining in downtown Chesterton (plus a Bob Evans about 30 yards away, if you are into that sort of thing). Can't speak to the price, as I stayed on Hilton Honors points. But the room was nice and clean, the whole place seemed fresh, and the breakfast (not free, but not expensive) was remarkably good.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even going so far as to make me a drink after a hard day at a training I had to attend for work. The room was always clean when I returned and the beds are so comfortable I fell asleep without issue, which is a problem for me at most hotels.

Hotel is nice and comfy. Pool and workout room is underground (lower level). Looks like it was recently remodeled but they still have tube tvs (no LCDs)

Clean rooms, nice tv with lots of channels, comfy beds and friendly staff.

I tried to book a block of rooms with the sales agent. I was given a rate and told her explicitly at least 3 times I needed the rooms or SATURDAY of that week. She booked the block for Friday (I have a feeling because they didn't have the rooms available for Saturday due to a football game). I signed the contract without looking it over to verify the correct date which was my mistake. But the contract email came to me from the sales agent rather than from Hilton, so I did not see the contract until a week after it was initially sent. When we found the error (because people from my party were trying to book and could not) They offered to change the block date (even though they didn't have the required number of room available and wanted to UP THE RATE by at least $30 per room per night. I stay at Hiltons regularly but will never try to book something at this hotel again. Hopefully it was just a culmination of bad timing and circumstances by the sales agent Summer was thoroughly unhelpful.

Clean. Not much around but it's Chesterton Indiana so, ya know. Word to the wise - Hilton honors reservation website says it's close to restaurants and shopping and that to me means walkable. It's on a main, busy, not well lit road so I'd say that description is a bit off.

The Facilities of this one aren't that bad. It's a nice location and somewhat clean. The tiles near the back door were pretty dirty and the back entrance seemed forgotten. The services are rated poor because multiple times I had words with the front desk about pricing compared to others in the area and the fact that breakfast costs the same to guests as it does for some person off the streets. I don't really expect a full discount on breakfast, however paying the full 8.50 just to eat a "continental breakfast" when I'm staying at this hotel currently and for 3 nights, I feel I should have got at least one breakfast voucher or like half-price during my stay. I would recommend not giving them the chance to make more profit of you and go to the restaurant down the road to the north called Around The Clock or in South Haven called Rosewood. Both are excellent breakfast places.

Really an incredible staff especially Robbie at the front desk! It felt like a home away from home. Thanks for helping us feel welcome Robbie and Amy!

Stayed here for my son's wedding. Room smelled of cigarette smoke and it was anon smoking room and we could hear everything going on in hallway... I went to front desk twice and no one was to be found... Plus, double charged on CC. It was corrected after I called... Was not impressed for the money we paid. :(

My non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The tv was a tube tv - not that I really cared much. The breakfast wasn't free. That said, the bed was comfy, the shower stayed hot, and the staff at the front desk gave me a great, quiet room at the end of the hall on the top floor after I said I'd been driving all day and was exhausted. The three-star rating comes from my non-smoking room smelling like smoke - it would have gotten a solid four, otherwise.

It is supposed to be a Hilton-- I expect a certain amount of cush at a Hilton. Not at this one. While the lady I spoke to when I reserved my room was incredibly nice, the lady at the desk when we checked in was... snarky. Our bed was HARD. Apparently, this can be adjusted-- but there was no info on it in our room nor was I informed about it when I checked in. We had a king whirlpool suite-- the whirlpool was only a one person tub and the water to fill it was very heavily scented of chlorine. The room was mostly clean, had flat screen tv's (although small), a large table for eating, a fold out couch, a desk, and a little kitchenette area. The pillows were comfy. The duvet was flat. The shower was hot-- but very odd, like a gym shower around the corner from the toilet. It did not have great water pressure and the tiles were slippery. The back of the bathroom door was dirty. Being a fat girl, I had to stand in the shower entrance in order to close the door to the bathroom, before sitting on the toilet-- so did the thinner members of my party. The pool was ok, but small. Breakfast was not included, $8.95 a person for adults. We did not try it out. All in all, I feel as though the room was definitely overpriced, we were not treated like the paying customers we were (maybe too fat? too ratty from the drive in?), and the mid-range luxury that I was expecting was definitely lacking. I would not stay here again.
