Frozen Cake artist was amazing. Custom ordered a cake, and the result was unbelievable. The art was all done free hand, and looks really well done. There was no extra cost. I would recommend them for your custom ice cream cakes for any occasion.

Blizzard was under filled and soupy. They couldn't serve it upside down if they had to. Exceptionally light on the mix ins.

It's a Dairy Queen. There are no mysteries here: You order stuff, you pay them money, they give you stuff, it's owned by Warren Buffett. Yes, the parking lot and drive-thru gets busy sometimes in the summer evenings, but anyone who has been there more than once knows to park in the car dealer next door and walk the extra 10' to Dairy Queen. It's not rocket surgery.

I remember getting a Dilly bar while my Dad got a parfait...in the 60's, when Carmel was more 'in the cornfields' than the track housing that it has now. It was 'run' by high school kids then, and still is now. This is Carmel, Indiana, people...what were some of you expecting, mechanical engineers from MIT taking your order? For a lot of them, it's probably their first 'pay-check' job in a semi-rural area. When I'm back in town, I still go make the drive up Westfield Rd. from Nora to get one of their breaded tenderloin sandwiches, ah, the memories. It's a Dairy Queen people, in a pseudo-suburb of Indianapolis, give it a break. (By the way, the family story is, my Dad, an electrical engineer for Indiana Bell was first given the chance to own/open this DQ back in the day, but he decided not to...does that make me biased?)

Ok I know this is a fast food restaurant but being rude to customers is not acceptable anywhere. I went in to order only a drink. I work close and was in a hurry to get back to work. The boy that " took my order" didn't even speak. He just stood there, no hello or what can i get you! I ordered my drink he handed me a cup and walked away??? I wouldn't care but I said hello to him an he didn't respond. I shouldn't be bothered by a teenage boy but hopefully the owners or usual daytime manager of this DQ see this.

My family and I go to this DQ probably once a week for lunch. I don't think I've ever been there when the owner was not there. He is a very hard-working guy who is always smiling, up beat, and focused on going the extra mile for his customers. It truly rubs off on his staff. Though they are a bunch of younger kids, everyone is smiling and helpful. I think, it's hands down the best managed fast food place I've ever stepped into. Also, the cleanest fast food place in Carmel. I'd also like to thank them for the awesome ice cream cake. My son was the wizard in his school play, wizard of oz, and they made a perfect cake to celebrate the occasion. Really did a great job with the decoration and artwork. You might not think of DQ for this kind of thing, but the do an amazing job, and I'd highly recommend them.

Nothing takes me back to my childhood like a chocolate dipped ice cream cone on a warm summer night! This particular Dairy Queen is a staple in carmel and we are lucky it's here. Great customer service very clean facilities this is one of the best managed fast food chains I have ever been inside of. Would give it 10 stars if it was an option!!

The slowest service of any DQ I have ever been to. Drive thru line was out into the road, so we decided to go into the store for faster service. MISTAKE. We were the only customers in the store, so our order was taken and paid for quickly. Then the ordeal began. Wait, wait, wait - over 20 minutes for a couple of blizzards. Even the kids said "this isn't worth it". No manager on duty - only the high school kid who could only take money and not actually make 2 blizzards. Clearly they give priority to the drive thru - but really? I should have checked, they probably did the entire drive-thru before they finally gave us our 2 blizzards. If a teenager says "it's not worth it" - for ice cream - probably best to avoid the business. There are better ways to spend the limited time we have on this earth.

Run by the Lord of the Flies. A band of kids that appear to have not been trained to perform the simple function of mixing toppings into ice cream. No manager on duty. No one in charge - no one accountable - no one cares. We waited a full 19 minutes for 2 blizzards. We timed it. Have never seen service this slow and we lived in the South for 3 years. Not worth the wait. Walking into the place does not help. They give priority to the drive thru and ignore anyone in the store.

This has to be one of the most well managed fast food restaurant in Carmel. As a contractor who works often in the area I've visited most of them. The owner/managers seem to always be around and their staff is prompt and courteous. Food has always been fast and fresh. Very clean as well. As a small business owner I appreciate the effort and care put into the place.

Their cookies and cream shake was good. I don't know though about their chicken tenders and fries. My hubby had their pulled pork sandwich and it was just so-so. I think if you're going to DQ... Stick with the ice cream stuff since what's they're known for to begin with.

Not quite the same old school feel as the DQ that burned down, but time marches on and it's still a DQ. Hot day. Very hot. Way over 90 degrees. Thirsty, a little hungry. Mister Misty cherry float, size medium. Hit the spot perfectly. Free entertainment was a complete bonus. They have a speaker system in the ceiling playing Top 40'ish hits. Had a great time watching two young kids totally rocking their best dance moves. They even came over to say goodbye (with their dad) before they left.

O.K. I never had a problem with this place except as someone else stated that it is staffed by high school kids. Went to the drive through tonight, ordered three crunch coat cones for 4.69 We get to the window and the kid tells me we are out of crunch coat.. Great communication. We said ok same cones no coat. It was the same price!! When questioned some guy gave us a story about our order being over 4.00 and we got a deal. We thought WTF!! We paid and moved on. Good-bye DQ

You know, it's a Dairy Queen, and they're all pretty much alike. The impression I get from this one is that it's staffed by high school kids who don't really care about quality of service to the customer. Hoped it would change after the re-building, but no.
