I go to this soma location for the smoothies. They are always on point and the service is always perfect. Everyone there is really nice and are willing to answer any questions you have. Like I said earlier I don't go for the coffee so this review isn't about that. The smoothies are perfect. They have a good selection of fruit smoothies as well as your green ones too. Also the add ins are not expensive at all and worth the extra dollar (max cost for one). All in all it's a great place and I go there as much as I can for an amazing smoothie.

Different atmosphere than the original, quieter and less chaotic. Same great coffee, tea and smoothies though. I highly recommend any of the specialty drinks, and their bubble tea is really good (made with milk, not powdered milk). Usual cafe snacks and small meals. Some pre-made sandwiches and salads, granola/yogurt, and lots of sweet treats (including vegan options). The best local coffee house in Bloomington is Soma!

If you don't tip at this place (soma east), don't expect to be treated like a human being. The new employees are not only extremely arrogant also have little knowledge about making drinks. The quality of drinks has gone down so much recently. I have been going to this place for the past four years and will definitely choose city bakery over soma east from now on!

worth the extra money- this place is the best. best coffee in town, best service in town, best tea selection in town. I usually stick to black coffee, but I've ventured into lattes here. They were leaps and bounds above anything a Starbucks barista could produce-these guys know their stuff.

This is a great little addition to the Third & Jordan neighborhood! The coffee is great (with a fair selection is little things to eat), the staff are extremely friendly (in stark contrast to the main location under Laughing Planet). I love the cute guy who opens the store in the mornings, such a sweetie. The ambience needs a little sprucing up but I hear they are expanding and remodeling. Overall LOVE IT.

Great drinks and atmosphere. It's a good place grab coffee with a friend and catch up - I've been there a couple times and everything I've tried has tasted pretty good.

A pretty good coffee shop, all in all! EXCELLENT specialty drinks (my personal favorite is the Zombie or White Mocha). The staff is truly quite friendly. The pastries are also pretty good (especially the marble cake). A good hangout, especially if you're in the music school and have 15 minutes to kill. The only reason it isn't getting 4 stars is because of the regular coffee. Their normal coffee is pretty meh. But everything else is quite excellent!
