Keeping in mind this is located in the midwest so the food won't be as fresh or tasty as some other red lobster locations, the food was pretty average. I've been here three times and I can say now I don't think I will be coming back just because the price does not match up to the quality of food you receive. However, the service is amazing here. They really are kind and genuine and will help you with the menu if needed. Great service, meh food.

Love love love! I love their lobster soup as well as free bread before the main entree. I also tried their soy sauce salmon, which was better than I except. The appetizers: lobster pizza and garlic oyster(cannot remember the name)were good to try! If you want some fresh seafood, try there!

Red lobster is one of my favorite places to eat!! I really like both types of lobster. The Cajun Chicken Alfredo is to die for!!!

The staff here is very nice. The place is never too crowded, even on Friday nights when you can't get a parking spot within a 1/2 mile of the rest of the chain restaurants in the area. I really like getting a lobster, and then they "stuff" some stuffing in the body cavity and bake the already-cooked lobster for a dollar or two more. It's quite messy and takes a while to eat, but delicious as well. Everyone raves about the salty/buttery biscuits. They are pretty good I must say. But if you listen real carefully you can hear your arteries clog & harden with each one you eat. Bad for your developing case of hypertension as well. But what a way to go!

First and foremost, let's remember - this is a RED LOBSTER. And it's located in the heartland. We aren't setting the bar very high when it comes to fresh seafood. If you want it fresh, find a place with an ocean! Generally, this Red Lobster is above par, with great service and an extremely friendly staff. Again, you aren't going here for fresh oysters and the like. BUT if you'd in the midwest and have a hankerin' for some seafood, it will get the job done. They also do a great job on carryout - quick and nice packaging.

I have been here twice, their crab chowder soup is good, and they have special course including soup, main entry, salad and desert, which is in reasonable price, although not everything in the course are great^^

Came here with my wife for her birthday. Great service and good seafood given that it's located in the Midwest. Will it be as good as a Chinese seafood restaurant in LA? No. But it's good given the location and I'll take Hoosier hospitality over the HK-style service of nearly tossing the dishes on your table and the "I can't be bothered by you peons" attitude of Chinese servers in LA any day.

Red Lobster - Bloomington, Indiana ... 4 stars: If you have someone at Indiana University, you'll eventually be touring through the Bloomington restaurants...here is a good one on 3rd Street just by the College Mall. The location of this little gem is perfect...just off campus, right in front of a Travelodge Motel, and near a mall...it is easy to get to for both students and the city peeps. Went on Good Friday looking for some nice seafood and found it here. One of our party had the lobster stuffed mushrooms (mmm...that was mine); another in our party had the shrimp linguini alfredo (very nice...didn't leave a morsel); and the last in our party had the create appetizer of calamari, cheese sticks, and fried clams (large portion and pretty good...this was the weakest offering being that it was all fried food). All in all this was a nice stop. I try not to review a lot of the national chains, but this one deserved the shout out. The nicest thing here was the wait staff...they were uniformly clean, competent, and chipper. Our waiter was Asser and he was a five star guy. We'll be back.

Yes, you serve seafood. Yes, lobsters live in ocean. And yes, ocean water is salty. But lobsters should not be salty as ocean water! If this is because you cannot preserve seafood in the midwest without using excessive salt, please don't serve it in the first place. I would rather not having this ocean-flavored dish to increase my risk of getting hypertension.

I have visited this location a few occasions and always enjoyed the food and service. While some of the prices are maybe higher than you'd expect I feel that in most cases it's reasonably priced for what you get. This establishment, on my visits, is always clean and orderly. If you're looking for seafood options in Bloomington Red Lobster is worth considering.

It is the first time to Red Lobster! It's an amazing experience! But I thought the seafood is a kind of salty.

Our waiter was awesome. Super calm and was never frustrated with us. The food was great. The 4 course meal for $15 was something new to try. Had to take the dessert home. Yummm.
