Stonecutters is the best place for lunch downtown. Their sandwiches are great, their coffee is superb, but when they're open on the weekends its really the place to be.

Was driving through Bedford when I happened upon this little coffee shop. The young lady who owns the place was very sweet. The coffee was flavorful and roasted fresh. The atmosphere was also pleasant. This coffee shop was unpretentious and a rare mix of great customer service with actual good coffee. Great experience and even better coffee. I would really recommend this place.

We've ate here several times. pros: Food was tasty and decent size portions. I like how they have a different mix of items on the menu. The atmosphere is lovely and artsy. My son likes the window seat area and the crayons to draw with. They have healthy items that I feel better feeding to my family, rather than McDonald's. Cons: Service is spotty (some are nice, some are definitely not) and VERY slow. It should not take close to 30 minutes to make sandwiches, salads, or a quesadilla (which was delicious by the way) when the restaurant is basically empty. I do understand cooking items takes longer, but most of the stuff we order tends to be stuff that just needs assembled, not cooked. Overall, it's a nice place to eat to get something different than fast food and I think they use high quality ingredients. Just don't go in if you are in a hurry.

Excellent food, excellent people and fast service. You can call your order in and pick it up, they'll even bring it out to your car if you want. Support local businesses! Love this place!!!

I am local here in Bedford and I am a coffee affectionaado. They have a neat roaster. They have their own coffee. However, the food is so-so and the service is terrible. They ask you to sit and they will come to the table, then you wait. ..and wait...and wait. It's extremely inconvenient. When the roaster is being used...it is SO loud inside. You can barely have a conversation. It's a cute place...but many things could be adjusted... So, get it to-go...that's my recommendation. I won't be back.

When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner and her colleagues. The cafe has an urban feel, and it took me aback to other cafes I have visited in New York City and Washington, DC. The food menu was great and I had the "Seven Minutes of Heaven" sandwich. I also drank a cappucino while the owner talked to me about local matters. I hope that others in Bedford will see the beauty and uniqueness in Stonecutter Coffee and stop by!

I've been back a few times and have been disappointed each time. The service is OK, but the drinks are average, at best. They taste thin and are poorly mixed. After 3 tries and 3 fails, I have given up. I won't be back.
