God bless the 'Murican dive bar. This place was exactly what I was hoping for when I came here with a college buddy. They have $1 domestics on Friday, which is awesome. Their food was good too - it's the typical fried bar food, plus some decent pizza. The service was friendly and our server did a good job keeping us in drinks. There was also a live band, and I'd consider that a negative. They weren't very good, plus the loud "music" made it hard to talk, so we left shortly after they started playing. Also, another negative for some people, is that they allow smoking. So, if you're turned off by some smoke, then you'll probably want to skip this place. But if you're just looking for a cheap beer, some simple food, and maybe a place to grab a smoke, then this might be a good fit for you.

Usually okay. Pool tables, big bar, lots of TV's with sports on. Touch Tunes Juke box. Good place for a smoker to relax and kick back. I like to be able smoke!!!! Today was a greasy meal and inattentive wait staff tho. It is usually better. Maybe just an off day.

This is the place to go if your looking for cheap drinks. Dollar pints on Fridays is the best deal around. It's a solid place to shoot some pool. I usually just stop in for a few drinks after work. I've had the food and it is the basic fried bar food that they buy from a supplier frozen. There are always a ton of people there playing pull tabs like it's their job. The biggest drawback of this place is how smokey it is! You can't stop in for 10 min. without needing a shower when you get home.

I've been to Legends Pub & Grill once and it will probably be my last visit. As other's have stated before me, the amount of smoke in the air just permeates your clothes (would've given 4 stars if not for the smoke). If I was a smoker, this would definitely be my go-to bar in Avon (it also helps that I live 5 minutes from there). My wife and I went on a Friday and couldn't believe the $1 draft beers. Since moving to the area last June, it has been very difficult to find a cheap drink in an area we feel comfortable going. I can't comment on the food as we were there just to have a few cold drinks. Everything was very clean and the wait staff was super friendly. I enjoyed the setup of the place with the large rectangular bar and all the pool tables along the one wall. Plus there are a ton of large TVs so no matter where you are sitting you can catch whatever game is on that night. Like I mentioned before, it is just personal preference for me that I won't be going back. If the smoke thing doesn't bother you, then definitely check the place out.

My opinion of this place has changed over the last year or so. Service is affected negatively by a server, Taylor. She ignores her patrons, spends too much time at the bar smoking and flirting with guys! Laura is SUPERB! Don't know what happened to Amber and I truly miss Evan. Food is good. And it's a plus if you smoke due to indoor smoking.

Would have given them five stars except due to how smoky it is, I could only give them four stars. The BBQ wings are delicious. I have tried a couple of their sauces, however I always go back to the BBQ. Their pizzas are so good.

Ok so we bought a groupon for this place and decided to go last night Saturday May 2nd. It was around 930pm and was pretty empty when we got there. Place was filled with smoke because they allow smoking indoors. I didn't even know any place could still allow smoking inside. So we sit down and it was a good 5 minutes before we got acknowledged by anyone. But after that the service was the best thing I could say about our experience. We ordered a sampler that had chicken strips, onion rings, mozz sticks, cheese balls, waffle fries and potato skins. Every item on that platter was frozen foods that would come off a Sysco truck and then deep fried. That is my least favorite kind of food. What bothers me more is they claim all of these things are hand breaded and homemade. We also ordered a Cajun Burger and a Pork Tenderloin. Burger was just ok, and the pork tenderloin probably the worst I have ever had here in Indiana, and their menu says they have the best tenderloin in Hendrick's county, absolutely not. I am not even sure if they hand breaded it but it was flavorless and not good at all. Was a total disappointment. Definitely not a place we would recommend or dine at again.

There are only two official "bars" in Avon, so you can't really be too picky. I went here on a Thursday for karaoke and had a great time. I was amazed by the dj and her selection of music to sing. She also stayed later than her scheduled time and played some great music videos while she was tearing down to keep everyone partying! The place is pretty smokey, kind of like Sidelines, but I think its just because you get used to so many places that don't allow smoking, so its a shock to the system. They have great drink specials and plenty of room to dance or just shoot pool. Great local spot and a nice alternative when you don't want to drive downtown or to B Rip.

Large rectangular bar, several lower tables on the east and south sides of bar, 5-6 pool tables along aouth wall, black padded still with back support. Granite laminate bar top with large wooden rail. Brick bar face and foot rest (that is very high). Several hdtvs. No bar back to speak of. Good food and strong pours. 7-10 beers on tap but more of a miller / Coors / bud bar and crowd. Local patrons. A NASCAR crowd of you will. Lower lighting and dark floors. Good service. Actually has one of those punching machines. A SMOKING BAR.

You can't beat the $1 16oz drafts on Friday! The food is good bar food. I think it's a great atmosphere to watch a game or play pool withth friends. Still a smoking establishment which I'm not a fan of, but this used to be the norm so I'll handle it for a good time and cheap drinks!
