This a a very nice place to either eat with family/friends or grab some adult beverages. They offer a great gluten free menu and have great service. The service is great and the food is wonderful.

This is a great alternative to highway-area food. I travel through Auburn all the time and for once I was not driving, so I got on the iPhone and figured out a place to go where my kids could eat real food. I found the Italian Grille. It will take a few extra minutes to get there in comparison to the highway-centric restaurants, but it's worth it. It was Sunday lunch and the place was mostly empty. It was relaxing. I enjoyed the plentiful windows. It's been over a month, so I don't specifically remember being floored by the food. But, then again, I would remember if it was bad. Food alone would be bordering 3-4 stars. Because it was very kid-friendly (1 and 3 year olds) it gets the four. Our bill was $25 pre-tip and that was for two adult lunches, two sodas and one kid's meal.

Not impressed. I think the restaurant is trying to pull off Italian food unsuccessfuly at too high of a price. Our table was sticky when we sat down. And there was a weird humming noise while we ate. I think I'll pass.

An italian place, not authentic, but sometimes nice change of pace. The salads are decent, the wings aren't bad either. The pasta sauce marinara and meat sauce are REALLY SWEET, as in sugar is one of the main ingredient, im not a fan at all. Staff is nice

Went here last night around 6:15. It was fairly busy, but we were greeted promptly. We received a warm loaf of bread and a dish with some herbs in it. We were to pour the cheese and oil from the table in the dish for our bread - a nice touch. It would have been nice to have some butter as well, though. My husband ordered some sort of entree salad, and it was nice sized and good. I ordered the minestrone soup and spaghetti with meat sauce. The minestrone was ok - nothing spectacular. The spaghetti was also good. It was different than any I have had before. The sauce was good, but it had a different flavor to it - perhaps more a concentration of spices that was different than other Italian restaurants. We were served promptly, but not extremely friendly - more effeciant than friendly. I like a combination of both, I suppose. We will go back to try some different offerings. What I liked is that the bar area is situated so that kids can sit in there. My 16 year old son will love it that we can sit in the bar area and watch the TVs. I guess we are strange - we like restaurants where we can watch TV and eat (just like home!).

The food is good with a pleasant wait staff and nice atmosphere. I usually opt to sit in the bar area as there is usually some type of game (sports) on the TV.

The Italian Grille is a great place to go locally with friends or family to eat Italian food. On my recent visit, I was with a group of seven people. We went around 5 on a Saturday night, so the place was busy, but not packed. Our waitress was very attentive to us the entire meal. We appreciated the fresh loaves of bread and olive oil blend as a free appetizer. Warm and delicious. Two out of our group ordered the small Italian pie (great size for one person each). The others all had pasta dishes (lasagna, Shrimp Gambero, etc.) that were accompanied with soup or salad. I recommend the Italian Grille house salad. It is a fresh mixture of greens, diced tomatoes, black olives, and bleu cheese with your choice of dressing. The restaurant has warm and inviting atmosphere. The two reasons I give this restaurant 4 inside of 5 stars: prices and the way our food was delivered. The pasta dishes cost significantly more than the pizzas and sandwiches. I think one person's bill for a pasta dish and soda pop drink was twice that of someone who purchased a small pizza with water. And our food was brought to the table individually over 5 - 10 minutes. And no one wanted to eat until everyone's food was on the table. But overall, still a good local restaurant.

Prices are that of an upscale restaurant. Atmosphere is a strip mall. Service is ridiculously slow. Food is a touch above room temperature at best. Quality of food was poor. You need not give your honest opinion to the owner when she asks as she will lash out in a very unprofessional manner with a deal with it attitude.

Service is very slow and food is overpriced for what you get. Quality is above average and food tastes good.

Work uses The Italian Grill on occasion for lunches provided during meetings so I've only had a couple of their sandwiches. The chicken cordon bleu is awesome, as are the chips that come with. I'd recommend trying them and hope I actually get to go to their location instead of only ever having it as carry out.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
