Excellent chopped pork sandwich; my 12 year old said it was the best ever. I had the brisket plate and my wife had the brisket sandwich. Mine was very good, hers was cold. I mentioned it to a young man working there and within 2 minutes she had a hot replacement and homemade banana pudding, both of which were great. Overall, really good barbecue and fantastic customer service.

Delicious BBQ, friendly staff and very clean restaurant! My boyfriend and I drove out from Fort Wayne, and this place was absolutely worth the drive. We got ribs, chopped pork and burnt ends. They were all delicious and smoked to perfection. The sides were all ok, but the baked beans were definitely a stand out. I also really loved their BBQ sauces. Unfortunately, they had run out of brisket for the night, but we're planning a return trip to try it. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. So happy to have found this place!

My husband and I were staying in Auburn and happened to see this restaurant and give it a try. I'm glad we did! I had the brisket plate with potato salad and fries and he had a burnt ends sandwich. Both were excellent! Very tender and had the right amount of smoky flavor! I think it rivals Famous Dave's in Noblesville, IN! They have a few sauces to choose from which were very flavorful. Too bad we live an hour and a half away, because we would be going here quite a bit!

I haven't had barbecue this good since I was in Texas. This is seriously on par with Cooper's in Llano. Although the brisket was a little tough the burnt ends were great - could have been cooked about 50 degrees cooler for about an hour longer would make it right. The hot link sausage was on point, and I loved the presentation with some knife scores of the natural casing down one side of the slow cooked handmade sausage. They have a variety of sauces and I was impressed with each. I can't speak for all of their side dishes yet, but I like their baked beans and their collard greens so much it's hard to venture to try the others. If you want dessert, get the sweet potato casserole as a side!

I have eaten plenty of bbq and this place wins the prize for the best, the meat was so flavorful, tender, and moist. I had the burnt end sandwich which was so good and almost too much for i had to save half for the next day. I also tried a bite of my husband's spare rib and couldn't put it down which might explain why i couldn't finish my own meal. The potato salad was excellent. I am not usually a fan of potato salad but this is beyond the norm and i ate every bite. The next day were we planning on making fajitas and thought about cooking meat but then we had a brilliant plan to purchase their brisket and we had another winner. Tender and flavorful, a perfect match to grilled peppers and onions. Don't even get me going about their bread pudding. I just hope my husband doesn't find my second half hiding in the fridge. A must go to place, don't wait for their food sells out fast.

Loved it! Three of us from work stopped on our way home from a business trip. Burnt ends were a bit more expensive, but well worth it. Brisket sandwich had gobs of meat, as did the chopped pork sandwich. Meat was so flavorful that we used just a bit of sauce. Service was fast and friendly. The young man taking our order was energetic, knowledgeable, and quick I'll definitely come back here when driving by on I-69.

Bo Doogie's is a new BBQ restaurant in Auburn, and how lucky Auburn is to have such an excellent place to dine in or get carry out. I know the restaurant has been open a couple of months and we had only heard positive remarks, so we decided to give it a try yesterday. We were very pleased we did. We were warmly greeted by the cashier who asked us if we had been there before and then explained the menu to us. The restaurant is similar to Panera where you order with the cashier, get your own drinks and then they call you when your food is ready. I had heard many positive reviews about their Brisket. I was a bit skeptical because I have not had great Brisket at other restaurants in the past. This was an exception. It was tender, moist, and flavorful. The meat was served on a thick piece of Texas toast. I chose the baked beans and greens as my sides. They were both outstanding with a bit of heat. The beans were pretty spicy, but they were more of vinegar based baked bean with chunks of meat and peppers. My children split the adult chopped pork with mac n cheese as their side. They devoured the pork. Again, like the Brisket, delicious. The mac n cheese was metiocre and a but spicy. They also have several different BBQ sauces to chose from. I feel a couple of changes could be made, but because the restaurant is new, I will still give a 5 star rating. My suggestions are that they add a children's menu and that for dining in, metal silverware be given. I hate eating with plastic, especially at a restaurant. I don't mind the disposable plates but give me real silverware. That being said, this restaurant is fantastic and I am excited to eat there again soon.

Really good smoked wings. This family owned BBQ restaurant in Auburn is a quiet little gem. Service was really pleasant and quick for just a small operation. The fried catfish, was really good. Only draw back was the potato salad strangely quite cold. Almost as if it was frozen or the refrigerator is running to low. The beans were ok. The Cole slaw was ok and the collard greens were really good with little chunks of brisket in them. I will be back for sure.

Ok, first time in the restaurant, chaos- the place was full, there was a line at the register and most tables were full having said that there were empty tables. No one was directing traffic, I dont know if they have a waitress but they needed someone to direct people where to go. It was so chaotic we decided to just leave but the food smelled good and there were alot of people there so decided to go back the next day for lunch. Day 2 - The place has nice decor but is small and cramped and I think it is counter service only. The prices are steep on some things, I only ordered two things so I will go into detail on my thoughts on those dishes. I travel so came in wanting a couple of sandwiches to save for later, so it was disheartening to find out that I couldn't get just sandwiches. I had to order their sandwich and side meal. It was 9$ for a brisket sandwich and side, this seemed expensive but if done right then could be reasonable, it wasn't done right. I opened the box to find a tiny bun with 3 or 4 small pieces of brisket on it, for 9 frickin dollars! For that amount of money it should have had a large bun piled high with meat. Brisket is not an expensive cut of meat, i dont mind paying a premium for good food thats prepared well, and after tasting it I can say it was good, but it wasn't worth the 9 for the little you get. You definitely should be able to buy a sandwich by itself also. In my valuation that was about a 4 to 5$ sandwich then if they want a side, 2$ drink etc. etc. If they get the bigger bun and piled the meat on they could ask 6 or 7$ for the sandwich alone. Just my opinion, needless to say I wont ever order the sandwich again unless they fix it. Second order- Rib tips, I travel all over and love BBQ and quite often order the rib tips because they have the best value for money at most places. The box the tips came in weighed about a pound so that was reassuring right there. Dont quote me on this but I think the meal was 10$, not bad. When I opened the box the tips looked good, very meaty, not to much gristle and the right amount for the price. They tasted amazing, best Ive had! The tips give good value for money, you get the tips and 2 sides. Thats what its all about, good food at reasonable prices. I went back to this place, I ordered the rib tips again because they were sooo good, they were alittle overcooked this time but still good, I got fries this time and mac and cheese. After biting into the mac and cheese it hit me that I never commented on the sides! The first time I went I got the Baked Beans, so I will break it down for all three for you. Let me say that I hope the person cooking the meat isnt the same one making the sides because they would be very lopsided. So far the only one of the three that can be considered good, in my opinion is the fries. They are like little wedges, not much flavor but cooked well, crispy and all that, if it were my place I definitely would switch to hand cut fries, always the best. The baked beans arnt baked, they are alittle spicy, not bad for me because I like alittle spice. They are runny and apear to have been cooked in a crock pot or something similar. They have a overpowering vinegar taste! Some people may like that but not me. To me, baked beans should be baked until their moisture content is removed making them nice and gooie and sweet, with onions and alittle bit of heat, molasses or honey etc... Yeah, these are not those. Bla The mac and cheese, I wanted to like it, it looked beat up in the bowl but still looked cheesy...well it was cheesy but had an off taste. I dont know what the off flavor was but it made the dish inedible to me. These guys can cook some meat but they need to revisit their side recipes in my book. Overall this place has some problems but their food is good, I hope they read these reviews and make tweaks here and there, Love BBQ and would like to see this place successfully Update 6/25/15. The place needs a good cleaning, food all over the floor, bbq sauce on the walls etc. hope they can keep it together. Mentioned it to staff and they said the sauce wouldn't come off the wall like I was an idiot, I could see it was splatter that no one had tried to clean.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night after reading a review here on Yelp and hearing someone recommend it. Auburn is lucky to have such a great BBQ place! I have been to a few in Fort Wayne, and this one is just as good, and in some ways much better. The brisket is sliced thinly, which I like better than a thick slab and it had such great flavor I didn't need to use the sauce that was at the table. 3 sauces are available: sweet, slightly spicy/vinegar based, and HOT. The French fries were fine and the corn bread is awesome. You get a huge chunk of warm cornbread if you order it as a side. My husband had the catfish and said it was very good - the ribs had great flavor and the meat was very tender. He had the greens and said they had a little bite to them. Their menu is larger and has more main and side dish choices than some of the small BBQ restaurants in Ft. Wayne. We live on the far North side of Ft. Wayne, so this is actually closer to us than the ones located near downtown Fort Wayne. This is definitely worth the drive for anyone. I wish it was larger, about 6 booths and 5 tables. It was quite busy for a Wednesday evening, and there were a lot of carry out orders as well.
