Stopped here late one evening because I was on a long drive and was dying for a steak. The place was definitely dated, with wallpaper peeling off the walls, the smell of smoking...everything pretty old. So I ordered the "best" steak, which was still cheap. Not only was it full of gristle, but it had zero seasoning and wasn't even as good as a poor steak that I could make at home. Came with canned green beans. Also had fries, which were decent, but fries are never bad. The staff was friendly but honestly one of the worst meals I've had.

Wow... One of the few times the YELP comments were off.. One of the customers said she works here... said the place was remodeled about 6 months ago. No more wallpaper or smoking. The walleye sandwich and the roast beef melt were really good. ..

Great food, good service, nice price! Can't beat this place for breakfast. This is definitely the place the locals eat at because the place was packed on a Saturday morning. We were heading out to the Badlands and we got a meal that lasted us all day. We will be back!!

We were also travelers going home from Turkey Run. Tired of fast food, this was a great choice. We were all happy with our meals. The place is definitely clean and remodeled; I was even impressed with bathroom cleanliness. I'm not saying this is a five star restaurant, but it definitely met & exceeded our expectations. We ordered: taco salad (chicken was in chunks...interesting), walleye sandwich (huge & stepdad loved it), shrimp dinner (popcorn sized, normal), BLT (niece said there was tons of bacon) and pork tenderloin (mom really liked). The soup was homemade chicken & dumplings...very good!

Simple foods with good ingredients. If you happen to be in Attica for hunting or "tough muddering", this is the place to go in the morning. They have this cool family style table that fits about 30 people and you can chat with the locals while you eat. They also have booths if that freaks you out. Most people are very friendly. My preference is the yummy corned beef hash which is seared on the skillet until slightly crispy. I probably would score higher but the coffee is a bit weak and at least some of their pies come from the thrift shelf from the Sarah Lee bakery (Saw a tag). Really???

We stopped here on a road trip with whole family. Everyone loved their food and we had good service. I recommend the pork cutlet sandwich and the burgers.

Friday night all you can eat Walleye. Tou won't want another plate with sides soup or salad & choice of potato. Who has room for more fish. Maybe half order? Big fillets & tastes good.

We stopped by for a quick business lunch. We got lunch specials, baked steak for my wife and lasagna for me. We ended up trading because the wife didn't like hers. I liked this because I got to eat about half of each. My wife thought the baked steak was a little bland but I thought it was good. The lasagna reminded me of Jackos (in Danville). The portions were large and it was prepared quickly. Service was friendly and helpful. All in all we were pretty happy with everything.
