Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Tried twice, three stars because the food is delicious! Just settle in at your table and expect to wait a long time for your dinner. Also, you might receive your appetizer at the same time as your meal. (That might have just been an easy mistake.) Horse pictures and country music in an Italian restaurant? I don't understand the theme. I would definitely suggest ordering a pizza and picking it up to take home!!

It has been awhile since we ate here, before the place was remodeled actually. We were able to walk right in and be seated. The place was very clean as well. The prices here are high for the area, but the food quality was great. You are paying for home-made, from scratch food. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it was awesome! They did manage to burn the garlic bread, but it was not inedible. The chef knew it was burnt and he came out and gave me a piece fresh from the oven a few minutes later, without me even complaining or mentioning it at all. Would not hesitate to return.

We started with the Insalata Caprese, which was different than what typically is served. The tomatoes are fresh from the chef's organic garden and they have that delicious, sweet Indiana home grown taste. At the recommendation of the server, I ordered the "off the menu" Tour of Italy, which consists of Bacon Florentine, Fettuccine Alfredo and Lasagna. Hubby ordered the Pesto Ravioli. Everything is fresh made to order and the prices reasonably reflect that. The pesto ravioli had tender, flavorful chicken and a sumptuous topping of Alfredo and pesto. Highly recommended. The Tour of Italy was a gorgeous, palatable delight. Everything was piping hot and served fresh. The cracked seats on the booth side of the tables were terribly uncomfortable on my tender legs but the food made up for the discomfort.

We had been slowly hearing about this little gem in the small town of Atlanta, Indiana from friends and family. For us, Atlanta is pretty much just a hop and a skip from where we live. Lucky for us, we beat the crowd when we arrived on a Saturday evening around 7 p.m. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and our server. The menu was simple yet many ways to customize to make a meal just your own. DeLullo's Trattoria is an Italian style restaurant in Atlanta, Indiana. Welcomed by a subtle Tuscan style decor with a friendly feel, this is a restaurant you will want to put on your favorites list. Italian style food is one of our favorites and something that is always sure to please everyone in our family. DeLullo's did not disappoint. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see that I could customize my own pasta dish. You pick your noodles, sauce, and toppings. Kind of like a pizza, which DeLullo's also offers. Fettuccini, alfredo, mushrooms, and spinach was my choice. My husband ordered the lasagna. I did not notice a children's menu but my daughter who is 8 was brought a child's portion of pasta, which was priced accordingly! It was almost cheaper to feed her at DeLullo's than the cost of a Happy Meal and obviously the quality was 10000% better! To start off, we had a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, which was delicious. The basil and other fresh ingredients tasted like they were fresh out of the garden. The bread was lightly toasted with just the right amount of garlic and butter so it wasn't too overwhelming. Extra bread is great to clean your plate of sauce at the end of the meal! While enjoying our freshly prepared dinner, we were brought samples of the freshly made sorbet. At this point, we made our decision that we were going to box up half of our meals so we could have room for dessert. My youngest daughter is quite picky so I was surprised yet pleased that she was enjoying the sorbet made with raspberry, mango, and some other fruits that I didn't remember because I was too busy sampling! The cheesecake from DeLullo's has a walnut crust, which brought a nutty flavor to the delicious creamy filling. I loved this but if you aren't a nut eater, you might be disappointed that there isn't the traditional graham cracker crust. The peanut butter pie was also very rich and creamy. Overall we were impressed by the quality of our meals as well as the prices, which seemed inexpensive for the portions. This is a restaurant that we will definitely be visiting again. The only thing missing is wine. I love having a glass of wine at Italian restaurants with my dinner so that is really the only downsize of the restaurant. DeLullo's also offers carryout, which will be trying in the future as we loved the possibilities of all the pizza toppings offered.

We visited here recently with a larger group as part of the Blue Line train stop from Fishers/Noblesville. The building is older and has charm. The food (especially any of the bread) is amazing. I had the Meatball Pizza. perfect crust IMO. Would definitely get this again (if I am ever in Atlanta again.) Others had the spaghetti and meatballs (homemade meatballs were spectacular) The downside of our visit. My group consisted of 11 people (which we called ahead and made arrangements for). When we arrived, we realized another party of 11 people had taken our reserved table (had our name on it...smh?) This was somewhat of an issue since the place is smaller and the restaurant had arranged for us to to have this table. When we addressed the party that had taken our table at the same time as we sta down, they gave us the "so what..." face. this became somewhat of an issue, as the servers then became confused (as I am sure they are not used to dealing with 2 tables of 11 people at once...smh again) and some of our orders started going to their table. Booze would of helped dismantle the situation, but currently they do not have their liquor license (Italian food with no wine....crime in some places). Overall good food, cute place just a little lacking oon the orginization.

This restaurant is now on our "go to often" list. Kay(owner) and her team are friendly and provide excellent service. We got the pizza - which was wonderful. One of our friends got the lasagna said it's her new favorite lasagna. The cheesecake is made on site and was also excellent. It is evident they use high quality ingredients and fresh produce. Well worth the drive (35 minutes). They do take reservations but we didn't need one that night which wad good because we had a last minute add-on. We will be telling our friends about our wonderful experience here and plan to return soon.

Seafood ravioli was awesome. Staff is very friendly. Lasagna and fettuccini are great whole family had a great time with great food.

Fantastic food! Bruschetta, Caprese Salad, Delulla's pizza-all incredible. They had fresh organic tomatoes in-house which made these dishes so fresh and amazing. There was some confusion with getting us the check at the end of the meal-but the wait staff was so sweet--it made it ok. We had a big party (including 6 small children). Totally accommodating, timely and just all around yummy! Only suggestion I have is to consider playing quiet music because the room is a little "open." Music may warm it up a bit. The old building is so charming though. Loved it! An awesome Atlanta gem.

This place was terrific. Really random that I ended up here, but it is worth tracking down. The service was very friendly, but what got me was the food. The meal was simple, we ordered a Caprese salad, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Great tomato, I imagine locally grown. A lot of vinegar, but I really liked it. For the meal, we ordered a pizza. Came out warm, and had excellent toppings. I hope to make it back soon!
