Food is always fantastic here!!! Although I was recently disappointed that on a Sunday morning that we could not get breakfast at 10:40am. Seems that on Sunday's most restaurants serve breakfast until at least 11 am. We stayed and had lunch, but I did see another group of 4 leave because they could not get breakfast at 11:15am.

Second visit here, but really only came back to experience the boat traffic continuously idling by this location. Not impressed with our first visit a few weeks ago, but as is our usual MO we always give a second chance. Both of us had the Bistro burger. Fagetaboutit! Based on today and earlier experience, cannot recommend dining here. Although, yogurt store next door made the trip not a total bust! Great ice cream yogurt and many toppings made for a wonderful dessert after a disappointing meal!

I can't recommend this joint. For starters, it's a deli, not a bistro. The menu is primarily comprised of soups, sandwiches, and a variety of "salad" sides, e.g., broccoli salad, pasta salad, potato salad. The sandwiches will run you about $10, which is more than I am willing to pay for Boar's Head cold cuts. But the poblano cheese soup I had was decent, if not very hot. All that said, the atmosphere is nice, and the service was excellent.

Food just fair. The potato salad and macaroni salad tasted store bought. My Cuban was served on a sub bun turned over and toasted.

Had the Friday special chicken pot pie, so disappointing, was not homemade, tasted like, can potatoes, can carrots and can chicken and absolutely no flavor.

I recently stopped in for lunch after a day of swimming and lake fun. I was looking for something light, but filling and the menu here met my needs. The Waterfront Bistro offers a selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The sandwiches are a good size -- large enough to be shared with a friend, if desired. If you order the light version of a sandwich, it will have less fillings (meat, cheese, etc.) on the inside, but still use a fair amount of bread. You can also request the type of bread your sandwich is made on - including sub roll, marble rye, sour dough, and many more. The sandwiches come with sides which include a wide selection from soup, fruit salad, macaroni & cheese, amongst other things. (I remember those because that is what we selected at our table and we each enjoyed our selection very much.) There are a number of sandwiches on the menu, but you can also select to build your own. There are about 6-7 meats to choose from, as well as a variety of cheeses, and an assortment of sandwich toppings. The Waterfront is decorated in a nautical theme and offers a selection of indoor or outdoor seating. The restaurant is new, and the staff is still trying to work out some kinks (there was a bit of fussing with the iPad they use to take orders with), but overall it's a friendly place with a reasonable wait time. And if you happen to pop in during a sporting event that your significant other can't miss (in our case, the World Cup), they are more than happy to adjust their flat screen tv channels to a station that suits your viewing pleasure. Overall, I have to give the restaurant three stars instead of four because I could make anything on the menu at my house easily. However, if you forgot to pack your cooler or failed to go grocery shopping, then this is a great place to go for a bite to eat. (Note: The restaurant also has a small deli inside. I did not purchase anything from it, so I can't really comment on it.)

The Waterfront Bistro has taken a turn for the better since it opened. They are now under new management and now have an executive chef. The menu has been upgraded: now serving steak, Mahi Mahi, shrimp, an angus burger, and several new menu items. The chef and staff are so friendly. Definitely impressed with the change!
