Clean, friendly, and the giant omelettes are excellent. They've become a go-to when we're for the ren faire.

The atmosphere is old and dingy. Everything looks dirty in there. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and pulled two bones out of it. Sub par food.

They really can feed a person at Samantha's. The 3-egg omelets have at least 5 eggs. Heck, there could even be 6 eggs. Who knows... Anyway my family gets breakfast at Samantha's once a month, like clockwork. It's Angola, and a very quirky place - but we like it. The service is usually friendly, and the food comes hot and fast. Since we're there with our toddler - that's a good thing. I would say they are a step or two above Denny's (or similar chains), and it's good to support a local business. We also get a kick out of how the waitresses 'discuss' whose section we'll be seated in. We're usually a group of 6, and we must look like good tippers. We like pretty much all of their breakfast options including the omelets, benedicts, and combinations. Also, the fruit is fresh and surprisingly good. My biggest complaint is the bad coffee, which really needs to be rethought.

Clean friendly service and reasonable prices, food was fine , had the broccoli soup and Italian sausage Parmesan . I would eat here again. I'm not sure what some of the other reviews are complaining about. Place is fine by me.

The service was fine but the food was disgusting. The eggs were rubbery and almost cold and the pancakes were definitely from a box. Which is odd. The bacon was the only thing edible in my book that I ate there. Don't get their hash browns. They were so dry. I heard bad reviews on them by friends but thought I'd give them a chance. Never comin back for this one.

Food was edible, but restaurant was dirty and nasty inside and out. Staff was very nice and friendly but won't be back next time I am in Angola.

Headed up to Samantha's on a Saturday afternoon, upon the request of a family member who believes them to have the "best french fries ever." I tried them, of course, along with a cheeseburger. I have to say that Hardee's little thick buger is MUCH tastier than the burger I had. I probably also prefer McDonald's fries over Samantha's (and we only eat at fast food joints during road trips). If you order blueberry pancakes as one member of our party did, know that the blueberry part is really just the topping. The berries are not mixed into the batter itself. Very odd in my opinion, but seems more common around these here parts of Indiana. A big negative for me was the SMOKE that permeated the place. They do "separate" smoking from non-smoking, but we all know how useless that is. The plus side was the service was great. Our waitress was wonderful. Very on top of whatever it was that we needed. Moreover, she actually seemed to enjoy having a young child at our table and even asked her what her name was. She was a gem (too bad I never found out her name!). They do have highchairs and crayons for the little ones. Also, prices seem reasonable. However, I don't think I would go back by choice. The food wasn't good enough (in my opinion) to warrant all of that lovely second-hand smoke. (Seriously, Indiana, get with the program, all ready!) Update (12/2012): Indiana DID get with the program and is now smoke-free in restaurants. I would be willing to go back and see if the food was any better the 2nd time around. Although, I'd probably prefer to try some other place first.
