Yes it is a chain, but I don't see that as a negative for this place. I love the chicken teriyaki is my favorite. I like the the sandwich is hot, the meat and veggies are cooked on the flat top to order. The bread (only white) is fresh. They have many selections as well as a build your own. Their fries are great, fried in peanut oil and the large is big enough for two hungry guys to share easily. I'm from KC and there aren't many sub shops like this around our parts that cook the meat hot on a flat top. I much prefer this to the cold cut subs which they do also serve here.

Stopped for a quick dinner. I would give them a 2nd try because sandwich was good. Service was a bit slow but the fries were cool and not fresh. Disappointing. Had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was very well done! Like I said, will stop again and give th a chance to move up a star!!

So I realize this is not fast food, but would it kill the staff to have a little sense of urgency? Love Penn Station, but my expectations are high since the one I go to regularly for lunch is much faster & much busier. Come on guys, have some work pride!!!

Penn Station is one of my regular lunch stops. They have some of the best fries in town. The are made fresh and cooked in peanut oil. They taste amazing. The chicken teriyaki sandwich is incredible. Get it with extra sauce and you will not be disappointed.

Hands down best fries in town. The down side is that if you order a sandwich with those fries you might not get a very big order of them. Doesn't stop me, though, I am a regular here and love it!

Love Penn Station! It's worth going just for the lemonade. I always get the chicken teriyaki and it's delicious. my kids like it alot too and I think kids eat free on Tuesdays, not sure if that's still going on but it was last time I went.
