Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. So I went ahead and tried Munchies today, ordered for delivery, was happy with the time on delivery, food was ok,ordered bacon cheese burger and onion rings which were amazing, burger on the other hand I ordered med rare,it was dry,it I also think the burgers could be thicker, over all it was pretty good,I'm just picky when it's comes to burgers it has to be juicy,i can't stand dry burgers. I will try them again.

I was really impressed by this place, one of the best Italian beefs (with italian sausage) ive ever had! Great service as well!

I always get a hot dog first at any hot dog/beef joint like this. You can usually judge them by this standard. I saw a Vienna Beef sign by the street so that was a good sign. No pun intended. However after my first bite I can tell you that it definitely was not a quality dog. It tasted more like an Oscar Mayer hot dog. That's fine if you're 5 years old and it only costs $1. Haven't tried everything in the menu but if you can't get a hot dog right then I'm out. Hope this review reaches ownership. I'd love to see this place do well. It's close to home for me and you can never have too many hot dog joints around. I will go again but most likely won't be getting a dog anytime soon.

Hubby and I tried this last night. We had the gyro roll meal and bacon cheeseburger meal. Cost was just shy of $26 bucks! That's really high for this type of food/establishment. No complaints on food or service. The food was so hot we had to let it cool down to consume it. Not thrilled with the "chunks" of gyro meat vs a traditional slice. I would come again and try some of the other offerings, definitely will try their version of a traditional gyro. They offer a very unique version of a Tzatziki sauce that I really enjoyed!

Food was delicious. Was cooked fresh. Had to wait a few minutes, but the employee brought to our table. Great place. We will be back again and again.

Can't say enough! The owners are committed to giving you topnotch creative food choices, and they treat you like a friend even though we'd never been there before and don't live in the area. I wish I lived nearby so I could frequent this establishment and sample everything on the menu, but I'll be back for sure. My husband and I had two different versions of the inside out burger; mine with cheddar & bacon and his with jalapeño & jack. It was served on a brioche bun and dressed to our preference. Delicious! I had the crinkle fries and he had waffle fries. Both were good but the waffle fries had an interesting seasoning I enjoyed. We also had the opportunity to sample sweet potato waffle fries, courtesy of the owner, and they were amazing. Not too sweet as I usually find and delivered to us with a proud smile. Fantastic food and great people. Go! You won't regret it!

I thought everything was very good. I got an Italian beef with cheddar. I don't know what the previous guy meant. My beef was delicious and the opposite of what he said. Portion sizes are very huge, and price was great. My husband tried the tandorri bread with his beef and really liked it. The staff was super friendly. They came out multiple times to see if everything was good and if we needed anything else. Great family friendly place. Well worth coming.

Love, love, LOVE Munchies! The owners are very nice and down to earth, but their food is awesome. I love the black bean burger, it's the best vegetarian/vegan option in Yorkville and it beats out Chili's and Red Robin. Their sweet potato fries are outstanding, we love the cinnamon sugar on them. Prior to being vegan, we had their gyros and it was outstanding, along with their crinkle cut fries and the "angry bites" which are little jalapeno cheese balls. We eat here on average 2-3 times per month and just love coming back.

Great customer service! Staff was very nice and gracious! Huge portion sizes for the price. Really delicious!
(5)Brian C.
The food is good, but the sevice can be Very slow at times. Last time we were there it took 45min before we got our food. Also, check your bag if it is to go before you leave. They are not that organized.

Munchies is fantastic!! I've been there 4 times and plan to go back! The staff is super friendly and make you feel at home. The menu is outstanding!! So many options to choose from and they add new menu items daily! I would highly recommend visiting Munchies! The Angry Bites are really yummy as well as their "Sweet Fries" (sweet potato waffle fries with brown sugar sprinkle..they're even good cold!). I've had the Gyro Roll on pizza crust (sounds different, but trust me it's SO GOOD) twice. I want to try something new each time I go but that Gyro Roll sucks me in! If you haven't been to Munchies, you're missing out!
(5)Carl F.
Very friendly staff! I have had the Italian Beef & Sausage sandwich ... and it was very good. Also had a "Jimmy Burger" which was very tasty ... give the "Angry Bites" a try as well for some slightly spicy snack food!
(4)Michael M.
Food outstanding. Customer service is way above par. Do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a great meal and service with a smile.

Went twice, got the gyro the first time, great gyro meat. But the second time I got the Yolo Burger -it was BBQ burger perfection. Meat was cooked full of flavor, well seasoned, bacon was nice & thick, pepper jack cheese wasn't too overwhelming nor hidden, perfectly cooked onion rings on top, the bun was great for mashing. Family run place, so the service was A+! The owner came out and asked everyone if their food was to their liking -THAT is small business at its best. Totally couldn't finish it, but it's by far THE BEST burger I've had in the 'burbs. Highly recommend!

Yum Yum Yum!!! Thank You Arton for the meal! We ordered again and am glad we did as everything was delicious and warm even with the bad weather Arton which I believe is the owner or one of them guaranteed a great meal. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich and my husband the philly steak along with loaded fries. The loaded fries wow spiciness! You must get the gyro here they have the flavor down just right. I think we found a new place! :-)

Brought the Family based on the Yelp Reviews this weekend. I'm going with a A-Ok rating. Staff: I'm assuming owners were the ones we were served up by. Very friendly Gents and happy to give you ideas on the menu. De-core: The place has been set-up nicely, decent surroundings, Clean and neat. Food: Mostly all heat and eat from what I could tell. They have some interesting Burgers with things like Fried Mac & Cheese bites, Jalapeño Poppers and other novelties on top. Fries come in waffle or crinkle cut, both seem to have a slightly strange cornmeal coating, tasted good just never seen this before. Chicken tenders also had a cornmeal coat. Burger was fine. Overall, I wish their was a signature house-made/homemade dish. I think in this general area with all of the food choices you have, you really have to have something to draw people in. Homemade sauces, Signature tasty burger (think grilled pineapple, roasted red pepper with sweet Chili Sriracha sauce) or some kinda killer sandwitch ...And charge more for it. Prices were almost too fair. I say raise the bar a bit more and people will come and pay you for the pleasure. Go for friendly service in a clean environment featuring burgers, hotdog and apps.

Ordered 3 items tonight: Hot dog, zuke bites and loaded French fries. 1 star goes to ease of ordering online 1 star goes to super quick & courteous delivery 1 star goes to how crispy and delicious the zuke bites were 1 star goes to the hot dog. It was put together well with quality ingredients I also ordered the loaded French fries. I wasn't a fan.. Fries are eh, not much chili and what was there was overpowered by the other ingredients (onion, tomato, bacon and nacho cheese). I do give props for packaging sour cream on the side so it doesn't get weird though. I'll definitely order again and try more options from the menu! I'm glad I gave them a try tonight.

Great food, fun menu, and awesome service! It is a family run business, and they provide a great product in a friendly environment. They are a burger/sandwich shop that isn't afraid to try new recipes, and does them well! They have so many interesting things on the menu that we will definitely be back to try them all!

So, I went for a "trial" run of the "Mound of Munch" challenge. The challenge, which must be eaten in 30 minutes or less, consists of: - The Jimmy Sandwich - The Beef Roll Sandwich - The Chi-Ros Sandwich (basically Gyros) - Large Fry - Large 32 oz Soda - 30 minute time limit Prizes - Free Meal - Free Shirt - Wall Of Fame To test the waters, I got the Beef roll, the Chi-Ros sandwich, onion rings, and a pop. So, basically everything but the burger. I concluded that I could tackle the mound if there was a little more scenery. All of the food was very bland. There was no party in my mouth at all. It could have been cardboard and I wouldn't know the difference. Now don't get me wrong, it didn't taste BAD, it just didn't taste! The Gyro roll felt almost exactly like the Beef roll. And I say felt because using the word taste would imply that there was some. I won't be visiting again. But do let me know if you decide to mount the mound of munch and let me know how the climb went.

We've been going since they opened a year ago. The food is awesome & the staff is so friendly. Try the specialty burgers and angry bites ,You will not be disappointed.

first-time customers, and we were happy with our experience... Friendly owners and staff working hard to give us a good experience. The food was delicious and the prices were awesome. when we're in Yorkville again we will certainly be back!!!

I stopped by since I was traveling in the area and saw the good reviews. Overall the place didn't disappoint and the quality was very good. I would definitely stop by again if I am in the area and would recommend it to anyone. I got the Gyro and large fries. The Gyro was spot on and had great flavor. If you are looking for an awesome Gryo, this is a must try. Also, it was the perfect amount, not too much or too little. The fries were good as well, but nothing special. The one this I really liked about them was how "hot" temperature wise they were when served. There was not one cold fry in the batch which is a huge plus. The restaurant was clean and set up nicely. The menu is pretty extensive and offers some intriguing options (speciality burgers & Ditka sausages).

Always great, food and service. Always welcomed like family. Food portions are more than enough and believe me I can eat ;-). Keep up good work Munchies
(5)Rob C.
The food here is absolutely amazing and unique. They have a lot of menu items that are specialty sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs etc. Every time I go there I'm blown away by the food and the service is great!
(5)Arica A.
Great food, choice of waffle or crinkle cut fries. Food was hot fresh and fast! Cook came out and asked how everything was. They were slow when we went so no crowds... It was nice!
(5)Brian K.
Just tried for the first time today. Ordered the munchie burger and was happy. I will be back for sure. Much better then Patellis. There is a lot of good things on the menu I can't wait to try.
(5)Brian W.
Great service, great food! Had an Italian beef, burgers, fried pickles and the cheesy beef buster. They upgraded the cheesy beef to make it hot as requested and certainly did the trick. Our family will be back.
(5)Charles N.
Definitely the place to be for spicy food! Can't go wrong with the signatures either. Had the Dante today, and more prior. Definitely THE hole in the wall place in this area. Give it some love!
(5)P J.
Best food and clean atmosphere. We loved the food, service and the owners of this place. The prices are reasonable we need more places like this around!!
(5)Marty M.
yep still good, just too limited hours
(4)Matt M.
Since the new owners have taken over I've been a regular customer. Very creative menu, lots of great if not slightly unusual burger combos (though I'm a little frightened of it the peanut butter burger is next on my list to try), delicious and inventive melts, the gyro roll is now my favorite way to eat a gyro, great selection of sides/appetizers but in my opinion the best deal in the store is the Ditka polish! Its a monster sized spicy polish with just enough of a kick to compliment the grilled onions and mustard, for $5 too good to pass up.

Great Service, awesome food! My entire family loves Munchies!
(5)Mike F.
I have to be honest, I was looking forward to trying Munchie's, they did a great job on social media promoting and creating hype. I tried the Italian Beef with mozzarella cheese, and fries. I always start with this at any diner style establishment. A decent beef is easy to do. This beef disappointed. It was dry, rubbery with very little cheese. The bun was soggy, but not from the juice. I watched a little bit of food perpetration, and they attempt to melt the cheese with steam. This works great on a burger patty, but not on a beef sandwich, bun included. The fries are standard crinkle cut. Nothing special to set them apart from any other restaurant. They give a decent amount, but quantity doesn't alway trump quality. The service wasn't the greatest but that comes with time. The location itself was standard, could maybe use something to make it a little less generic. At least the root beer was good. I will say this, I posted a review to their FB page and both owners reached out to me. They have offered to comp a meal for me which says a lot. I will try this location again in a few weeks, maybe some kinks will get worked out, and we can raise the review a star or two...

Service here is fantastic, Food quality is great also. If you go here please do yourself a favor and have the "ranch chips" they are fantastic kettle chips with a ranch flavor to them People that work here are fantastic, they greet you at the door with a Hi, and are very attentive to you. Something that you do not see anymore from a food place. Highly recommended for all people in the area to have for lunch or even a quick dinner
(5)Malachi M.

This is the best food I have had in Illinois. I'm so excited to come back!!! Great food, good customer service and an amazing establishment. Keep up the food work
(5)Susan E.
Great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner with the kids. Good gyros, burgers and Italian beef. The guys are friendly and the place is clean. We have been here probably 4 times, always been pleased. A bit pricey, but worth it for the good eats!
(5)Biju V.
Great gyros and fries. Sweet potato fries were also great. Hot n fresh food! Small dine in area. Great customer service. They bring food to you. Def recommend !
(5)Jay S.
The burgers are really good, much better than I would have expected. The service is quick. I like this place, and I wish there was one on every corner throughout the Midwest.
(5)Dominic H.
Awesome food!! New to the area from chicago and it reminds me of home, just wish delivery didnt take forever and a half, I also recommend that you tell them to double bag it so its not luke warm when you sit down to eat it. Ill go back for a dine-in order though.
(4)Brad W.
We'll just start by saying how nice it is to have a "real" fast food place in town. The owner/cook is super friendly, constantly comes up with new menu items or specials, and his passion shows up in the food. Trust me. The counter staff is always happy to assist and explain the menu. Even if the food was bad, you'd still get five stars for service (thankfully the food is good too!). I really hope to see this establishment nut only make it, but grow. This guy definitely has the talent to stir up the culinary world.
(5)Adam D.
Everything is good. Especially love the philly. These guys are inventive and take pride in the food. If your looking for a reasonable priced place with great food you need to check this place out
