Consistently bad service. Poor food quality and the owners can care less. The problem with Woodstock is, we don't have enough restaurant choices, therefore places like this seem to be busy all the time. Today I ordered the breakfast sandwich, $6... Tiny sandwich, smaller than you'd get at even McDonald's and came with absolutely nothing. I brought it up to the waitress, she gave me a dirty look and walked away. She let the owners know and they did nothing about it. Never came to the table or acknowledged anything. This will be the last time dining here. Save your money, go somewhere where people "want" your business.

Food is good, service is great - very casual, dine in, family restaurant. Looks like it has lots of regulars. Although not my favorite type of restaurant will certainly consider going back.

Timing is everything! We were headed to the Illinois Railway Museum from Milwaukee and decided to stop here rather than eat at its terrible diner. Did we luck out. Seated at a booth we were presented huge menus with an amazing variety of food and reasonable prices. Ricardo (Ricky) arrived moments later and then we were absolutely treated as if we were VIPs visiting from Wisconsin. Ricky watched over us continuously making sure we had enough of everything, the top performance by a male server this year! As for the food, my goodness, if Three Brothers was near home, I'd be here with friends at least weekly. Outstanding was my Chopped Steak as was Bob's Cod Dinner. Complete with a 'ton' of selections and drink included, I was in no hurry to get to the Museum. With dessert included, Three Brothers should now be a destination for those coming down Highway 47 to IRM. Thank you Ricardo and Thank you Three Brothers. And what about that terrible diner at IRM, it was closed!!!

Driving through here on our way to pick up a car, the boyfriend and I were desperate for lunch before getting a loaded down trailer. As others have said, Three Brothers is a very typical Greek-owned family restaurant. Breakfast anytime, huge menu, everyone there has clearly worked there forever and is probably family, you know the drill. Seated, the busboy brought water, we decided on our orders, and I hit the restroom (confusingly, the men's and ladies' are at opposite ends of the restaurant), leaving my order with the boyfriend. Returning, the boyfriend said that no server had yet turned up, at which point a waitress came over and said she'd been waiting for me to return. Which, I guess I appreciate, but I was super hungry and just wanted food like, right now. The boyfriend's clam chowder was ok -- a bit gluey for my taste; I think it was the flour or cornstarch used to thicken it. My French dip was about what you'd expect. A bit soggy on the bottom, but a decent amount of meat and cheese, so I wolfed it down. Onion rings on the side were nothing special. The boyfriend's patty melt was similar -- edible, but nothing to write home about. Overall, I'd probably eat here again, but I think the key is low expectations. If you're expecting something special, you'll be disappointed. If you just need some fuel, Three Brothers will do.

Sometimes you just need to keep it simple. Three Brothers does just that. It's an American Diner conveniently located right next to the Best Western Woodstock Inn. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have even recognized it as a restaurant. To me it looks like part of the hotel. I had the navy bean soup with a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. There was nothing to speak of with the presentation, but the food tasted exactly like it should. My navy bean soup was spiced up with lots of black pepper. The buffalo chicken sandwich was moist, crispy, and evenly sauced. I also like how they didn't try to load up my plate with a bunch of iceberg lettuce and an unripened, stiff tomato. I don't like my tomatoes stiff or thick. Unless you're willing to drive all the way out to Huntley, this is the place to go! The staff provides excellent service!

Another family-style restaurant that does enough right I can recommend it -- if you're going out for a family-style meal. Friend had an Angus steak & trimmings, she loved it. They cooked it exactly to her liking (and mine -- looked delicious). I had the Woodstock Burger and ... liked it, enough, I guess. It had everything going for it, big, great toppings -- but was overcooked and therefore dry. [sad face] Waitress was fine, tables were bussed quickly, another employee (back of the house from what I can tell) had a very friendly conversation with two ladies at another table ... Old friends? Loyal customers? I think the latter. Parking lot layout a bit of a challenge as the property is triangular rather than rectangular (Hey! Something I've never mentioned in other reviews, triangular property!).

Our waiter was very attentive and the food was really good. Their prices are reasonable too. The exterior was a little outdated but the inside looked to be recently remodeled. Overall it was a great experience

Coffee weak, ordered triple play came out the kitchen quickly, but food temp was just Luke warm. Also ordered hot wings waited quite some time for those. Not really on the hot side, defiantly frozen.

Solid breakfast spot. Huge menu but stick with the basic diner centric choices & you'll be pleased.

If I could give zero stars I would, terrible service!!!! We were seated by the hostess and were given coffee by the bus boy. All the while our waitress was standing no more than 10 feet from our table talking with a customer, ok no big deal we are patient and can wait for their conversation to end... 10 minutes later.... Got up and walked out... Looked through the window as we drove away and the waitress was in the same spot running her mouth.... Save yourself the time and visit another diner in Woodstock, this place is nothing special

Traditional greasy spoon diner type place (That's meant to be a compliment) that has an extensive menu. I generally get breakfast and it never fails to disappoint. The staff is great and consistent. We visit weekly.

This is one of those places where, if you could give it zero stars, you definitely would. I don't know how anyone could ever think this food is even edible. My girlfriend and I went here for an early dinner and it was hands down the most disappointing, worst food I've ever had in my life, not exaggerating. Not only was the food awful but the waitress began immediately complaining about the rest of the staff when she came to our table. I would avoid this place at all costs. The food is absolutely flavorless and overpriced for the ridiculously low quality.

Great breakfasts and lunches. Generally, the food is considered "Diner Fare", however, it's done well. Service is generally good. Relaxed atmosphere. You could have a wait for a table during rush periods and might encounter friends and acquaintances while you wait. Lots of regular customers sometimes in loosely organized small groups, as well as travelers.

We go here a lot with my grandma. I love their omelettes and Buffalo chicken. So yummy. Good service! Nothing out of the ordinary, but definitely worth trying!

Great servers!! Food is just ok. Had the chicken fajita, and didn't have much flavor to it.

(Breakfast Review) Good setting, service is great. My coffee mug was never less that half full. That said, I see why the place was maybe 1/4 full at 7:30 on a Monday morning. Breakfast skillet-$10, tiny pieces of sausage, onion and such with (far too much) overcooked potatoe. That and the price is what gets me, I ate half the skillet and would usually save the rest for later and mix w/some steak but this was worse than bland. I wish there was a cheaper greek dinner nearby, Ill probably drive to Around the Clock next and see if its worth a 20 min. trip when I am half awake. Is $10 the cheapest breakfast Woodstock offers fast-food not included?

Some of the food is decent, but quite a bit is not worth the money. I tried the seafood basket one time and the fried fish was completely square and tasted like it came out of a box from the freezer aisle at Wal-Mart. The "California medley" mixed veggies on the side must have been canned because they weren't fresh. I know to stick with a burger and fries when my husband and I are too lazy to drive out of Woodstock for a better restaurant. The cuisine just needs some updating - make it fresh!

has the best and friendliest waitresses ever!!

Good place for breakfast. try the gyros and eggs. Typical Greek owned family restaurant. nothing fancy but you wont leave hungry. wish they were 24/7 again. it was a good place to go after a binge.

Another restaurant that I'm surprised has yet to be yelped. Unless you live in Woodstock or the surrounding communities chances are you've never heard of this establishment. I'm trying really hard not to be biased in my review as well seeing as I spent many a morning here at 6am binging on coffee and trying to avoid a crash when I was a raver (I can't believe I just admitted that on yelp.) I suppose I can start with this restaurant in the past ten years went through a major renovation. Physcially they cleaned it up alot but they also raised their prices (yet didn't change any of the menu items) and altered their hours from 24 hours a day to some 6-11 or similar crap. All in all it is a decent bang for the buck. Regular diner food, decent portions, nothing is outrageously priced, fresh pies and cakes. The reasons I can't give this place five stars is that the food isn't really worth the price in my opinion (at least in the setting that it's in). I'm not saying you're going to pay $18 for an egg over easy- but it is a little more than one would expect to pay. I definitely recommend this place though- I will note though that breakfast in my opinion is the best meal served at this particular joint (try the veggie omelet)
