I can't say enough about Main Street Pour House and their Event Manager Tymalyn! I coordinated a wedding in Woodstock, IL last weekend and finding a great private space for a rehearsal dinner seemed near impossible...until I found Main Street Pour House. From the first communication with Tymalyn I was impressed with the personalized service and how accommodating they were. They have a very nice private room where our guest ate a buffet style dinner of a HUGE delicious house salad, three types of chicken wings, and a make your own burger bar! The food was great, and from what I was told the drinks were just as good (I'm not a drinker). If I'm ever in Woodstock again, I'll definitely be stopping by Main Street Pour House!

Came back a month ago, and it must have been an off night the first time we were there. Food was seasoned right, came out piping hot and we ate a lot.

Josh and Chris know how to tend bar! I am a once a month or so regular. Regardless they always treat us well and remember what we like to order. Friendly staff, good beer, and good food. Best bar/eatery in the Square. I would love to see some rotating taps, or special bottles.

Super chill and a great place to grab a beer in historic downtown Woodstock (also situated right across the street from a historical marker on the Bill Murray/Groundhoug Day walk tour for those of interested in that gem - yelp.com/biz/groundhog-d… ). They were all Blackhawk'd out and had multiple sports games playing on the few tvs they had, but it wasn't loud or obnoxious and the overall vibe was more old-timey saloon than sports bar and I really liked that because I personally could care less sports, though I know I'm in the minority. $3 glasses of house wine & Corona was the advertised sidewalk chalkboard special on the day we stepped in to get out of the heat, but we went with some of their better tap beer once we saw they had a nice selection. When we walked in we were surprised by their pretty darn decent tap beer selection. They had some stuff from Revolution, Lagunitas, etc, and seemed heavier on the IPA tap selection... which is a good thing. We ordered the Anti-Hero from Revolution and the Little Sumpin Sumpin from Lagunitas, but when one beer came it had a lemon wedge in it and I thought - that ain't right. I didn't order no sangria. I took a sip and was definitely Leine's Summer Shandy, which isn't my personal preference but it was practically a million degrees out and we really were just looking for a quick drink to cool off and since the boo was actually wanting something on the lighter side he happily drank it and we didn't have to get up and do an exchange for the correct beer. And when the bill came we were charged for exactly what we'd been served, so I'm thinking it was likely just a mix-up where the bartender thought we said Leinenkugel, though we'd actually wanted Lagunitas. It would have been nice to see a paper or chalkboard menu of their tap and bottle offerings instead trying to guess based off the tap handles. The layout is really nice with a big bar in the front, some raised seating next to a picture windows to look out to the street and old theatre (where Bill Murray once stood for the filming of the movie Groundhog Day). And the larger part of the bar had plenty of nice, wood 4-top tables and a dividing wall where it looked like they could kind of shut the bar nice out a bit if customers wanted to enjoy a quieter meal sans sports and tvs. On our visit, we were one of only two tables in the place and as we left two more people came in to sit at the bar and watch 'the game' which seemed to be either golf or baseball (both were on), but everyone besides us was quietly drawn to the screens and it was actually just a really nice, chill, calm vibe. It seemed like there were a few bars to choose from in the area, and while Main Street Pour House wasn't fancy by any means, it was definitely one of the less divey bars (by far), affordable, and a place we'll absolutely come back to the next time we're in need of a drink in the Woodstock area.

This bar is perfect for game watching and app munching. Friendly staff! Watch out for the mason jar drinks---they are delicious but nice and strong!

Bartender was great, but they advertise 1/2 price appetizers on Tuesday and do not honor it for all of their appetizers. We found this very dishonest and misleading advertising! The discount was listed a second time inside the menu. Be aware of this if you decide to eat here. My husband and I will not be back. Bartender was super apologetic, but that doesn't change the situation.

We have been here once or twice before for food and drinks but our last experience left us questioning whether we'd be back. One of our sandwiches came out severely burned/charred and was unappetizing. After sending it back and ordering something else, the cook took extra long making the new order (apparently because he had dropped the order on the floor and had to start over). We also ordered two beers and upon receiving the pint glasses, the blue moon beer was only filled 3/4 of the way!! We didn't complain about the beers, but it was still weird. Management was apologetic about the food, but overall the experience wasn't enjoyable.

Bartender was very pleasant. Good drinks specials. Steak Nachos were okay at best. Tastes like they out melted cheese threw in microwave. I wouldn't recommend them.

Thought this place had potential, so we gave it a second shot after watery salads last week. This week I got soggy Tater tots, wife got soggy chicken strips. This is compounded by the fact that they put everything for our take out order in tiny little styrofoam containers, so the salad came in two boxes. Which means they put one piece of avocado on top of 8 pieces of lettuce and charged me 7.95. My burger was actually decent, aside from the fact that it was over cooked and ice cold...and I live 4 minutes away so take out shouldn't have been an issue. We are very disappointed and will be going back to the red mill or dc cobbs from now on.

Nice new addition to the Woodstock dining scene. Plus located right across from the cinema so great to grab an after or pre movie snack. pretty laid back place. i enjoy the bare brickwork. the old bar was from the waverly house which was what this place was before its current incarnation. decent selection of craft beers with a few on tap. good drink and food specials everyday. the waitstaff and barkeeps are cool and friendly. the food is good, and well priced. I enjoy the philly chicken sandwich and the wings are very good. all sandwiches can be done on wraps if you want to cut the carbs. i hope they change up the menu a bit seasonally. but I enjoy this place and it seems to have a very mixed clientele which is always good. Recommended.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. I would highly recommend the mason jar drinks, they are reasonably priced and so much bigger than we thought they'd be! Also, the bartender bought us a drink : )

My wife and I went there last night for dinner. It is located on Main Street in downtown Woodstock. Very cool location. Walking into the place doesn't make you feel like it will be different than most pub/restaurant type places. My wife and I sat ourselves and it was pretty dead for a Sunday night around 6:30pm. We each ordered burgers since they were on $6 special. I was sick so I was drinking Diet Coke, but my wife wanted a beer but didn't really know what she wanted. Our server was nice enough to help her with her choice. My wife had a burger with Blue cheese and I had the one with Jalapenos and pepper jack. We each had the homemade chips. The burgers were perfect. The homemade chips - so tasty!! All in all, I will go back in a second. Fantastic!

Been in twice; first time in is due 4stars, second maybe a 2 at best. Let's round that out to an even 3. 1-Really enjoyed the bar, locals were friendly and a couple pretty good appetizers. Bloody Mary was pretty good as well. 2-lunch this go round. Burger was fair, over cooked and under seasoned. Good homemade chips. We were one of three tables during the entire lunch service-hope they make it.

Super-friendly service, a great beer selection, fun mixed drinks in mason jars, and an interesting casual dining menu all make this a great stop for a weekend lunch or dinner. We haven't tried too many items on the menu yet (and we really, really, really miss the cheese balls appetizer. And saying "cheese balls.") but what we have had so far was awesome. Really like the variety for the flatbreads. The window seating up front is our favorite; it's fun to catch a breeze and people watch. And SRSLY, bring back those cheese balls before my future cardiologist catches me writing this review.

BEST Bergers in Town! My favorite is the Western Poorman! When you order it Med. Rare you get it that way. They are generous with the portions and we love Both their fries AND homemade chips! We won't go anywhere else for burgers in the area. Seriously, the best!
