Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Mediocrity at its finest. Woodstock is very limited with delivery options & sometimes you just don't want to go out. Reserve it for those occasions. One quick note & I hope 3 Stars is monitoring-Please ask the people that answer the phone to be courteous & not yell "Anything else" after each word the the customer has spoken. It's irritating!

Pizza is awesome ( if you like thin crust) and the ribs are just mouth watering!

Food poisoning! Beware! I ordered From them Sunday night (2 days ago) and I'm still sick. Italian beef and fried mushrooms. Something made me sick.. kids ate pizza and didn't get sick but it was gross pizza. We will never order them again! I lived here before and they were great. That was years ago. I don't know what happened but they are just awful now and dangerous.

They serve the best pizza puffs within Northern Illinois (at least). They're the size of footballs and dirt cheap at a measly $5.

I love this place. I think their double dough pizza is the best pie in town. I order from here once a month and they have never disappointed.

Definitely will eat here again when in the Woodstock area. Some reviews I have seen focused on some negatives that are sometimes more a case of bad luck than a referendum on the staff and quality of the food. Our experience for take out was great. We ordered a veggie and a supreme and both were very good. The veggie is chocked full of fresh vegetables like red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, olives, onions, accompanied by just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Not too sweet or too tart and the crust was thin and crispy. Same results for the Supreme which also demonstrated a nice balance of meat, veggies and cheese again on a nice crisp thin crust. We also had some Bosco stix which go down way to easy when dipped in the thick marinara sauce. Overall, a solid place to get a pie out in the burbs. We will be back.

Ordered pizzas for carry out from here around 2-3 times during the past one year. Found the taste/quality of the pizzas to be ok--neither bad nor excellent. Found the service level/quality to be inconsistent (sometimes good sometimes bad)--one time they took down my order incorrectly and made the wrong pizza, but when I pointed out, were gracious enough to accept their mistake and make it right. Toppings were tasty and fresh, but quantity of toppings was minimal. We like their thick crust pizzas-- very filling and good value for the money. We used restaurant dot com coupons a couple of times-great deals at this restaurant. Overall summary--average pizza quality to price ratio, average service, thick crust pizzas are good, use restaurant dot com coupons when you can to get good deals. Would we order from here again?--maybe.

Ordered 2 pizzas tonight. My friend found a hair on one of the pizzas so we just stopped eating it, accidents happen. While eating the other pizza he finds a second hair. I called this time and was called a liar, she said there was no way there could be 2 hairs in 2 different pizzas. I told the lady I wanted a refund and at first she told me no they would make us new ones, I said no I want my money back. After bringing the pizzas in for her to see the hair I finally got a refund. Will never order from this place again!!!!

I crave this place while I'm away. I've been in Arizona for almost 6 years and the first thing I eat when I'm back in Woodstock visiting family is 3 Stars. I wish they would put one in Buckeye or Goodyear, Arizona so I could eat it as often as I did growing up. Best pizza in town! Calzones and gyros are great too!

Recently moved into town, and thanks to my late work schedule 3 Stars is one of the only places still open to deliver. That is it's number one redeeming factor. The pizza is ok, nothing special about their thin crust. Ribs were overcooked, scorched is probably a better word. Small, obviously frozen patty cheeseburgers, and processed foods abound. Deliver orders, even late at night, lunch, whatever, take forever, at least an hour every single time I've ordered (5-6). Basically, if you are drinking and need late delivery, go for it. If you are sober go to Wal-Mart, buy a DiGorno. You'll thank me.

Best pizza in Woodstock! I'm from the East Coast and have grown up eating New York style pizza. This was my first foray into Chicago-style thin crust. It was great and I've been there several times since then. I usually order a pizza but have not been disappointed when ordering a cheesy beef sandwich.

This review comes several years after my final experience at 3 Star. My wife and I called in to order a pizza. They quoted us a time to pick it up. When we arrived she waited in the car while I went inside to pay and pick up. I gave my name and waited for a reply. They said it would be up soon. They then ignored me sitting there for about ten minutes. I can understand a pizza taking a little longer than expected. After that ten minute wait, I asked again how much longer it would be. They said it would be up soon. This went on for about 20 to 25 minutes after my initial arrival. There was no apology or financial adjustment. Oh well, I finally had this pizza and we were heading home. We got back to our place and the pizza was not fully cooked! The center had unmelted cheese and the crust was raw in the middle. This only affirmed my initial assumption that they had forgot my order to begin with. I called 3 star and cannot believe what happened next. After explaining how I had waited in the store for a considerable amount of time, then came home with a raw pizza, the idiot who I was speaking to replied, "next time as for it well done." She then hung up. I didn't even get to ask for my money back or a voucher of some kind. Well, fast forward a few years, and I have not and WILL NOT go back. I tell lots of people about this bad experience and hope that others will see this review and go elsewhere. Afterall, that is why I check out other reviews on yelp. If you want pizza in woodstock go with Napoli's. They are consistently great pizzas. Rosati's is also good along with Pirro's if you dont' mind paying a little more. Stay away from 3 star... Ignoring this horrible dining experience, their pizza isn't even that great.

Worst place ever!! So I ordered a beef on their garlic bread with hot peppers, curly fries a two liter of RC. Not only that took over an hour and a half the best part was I was about a block away. So I finally get the food and the entire order is wrong and the food was shitty and cold. I politely returned the food and explained the situation. The response I got next was completely unreal!! The half witted foreigner behind the counter looked at me like I did something wrong and asked if he should fix it. By fixing it he meant using the microwave. I said I'll just take my money back and be on my way. What happened next was absolutely appalling. He told me to fuck myself and never order from there ever again and told me I was an asshole! He didn't even refund me the entire amount Bc some guy delivered the food honestly a block away from the pizza place. I just looked at him laughed and endured the constant ridicule for no reason. So along with me never going to that shit hole again I'd like to apologize for their lack of people skills and awful cooking skills. But I'll defiantly give the thumbs up on their skillful use of a microwave to make up for not fully cooking stuff. They should also probably clean up that sty of an establishment of theirs.

I only have had their pizza, so I can't comment about other food items. This is one of the better pizza places in town. The thin crust is good, as well as their sauce. My only complaint is that they are a little slow with service. When they tell you a time, expect it 10-15 minutes later than that.

Although they might not have the best pizza in town they still put up a decent fight with the rest of their menu and prices. I recently moved down the street from this pizza joint with a couple of my buddies and have tried just about everything. Their pasta dishes are a little watery but not terrible. My favorite item there is definitely their gyros, and if you tell them you want a buy 1 get 1 free it comes out to about $6... which to fill up a college kid with a big appetite for 6 bucks it's all you can ask for! The buy 1 get 1 free also applies to all of their pizzas.( ex. Double dough, thin crust, pan...) Buffalo wings are prob the most unreasonable going for about $7-8 for 6 wings, but I suppose that's the same as any pizza place around. Delivery is pretty fast and convenient never having a problem with temperature of food, however pickup is quite a bit faster and you don't have to deal with the creepy old delivery guys they have! If your thinking about eating there I suggest you think of a different place that's a little cleaner and with more than one table! Hope I helped a lil with my first review!

Yummy yummy yummy in my tummy tummy tummy. :) This is not gourmet pizza and yes, they could use a lesson in courtesy on the phone...but then a lot of people could use a lesson in courtesy period. Awesome thin crust- the closest to New York Style that I've had in the Chicago area.
