Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The General Tso's Chicken is a must ! We order the chicken 1 or 2 times a month ! Crab Rangoon ?? Not good here though. Got to go to Jin's China for that. They have the good filled triangle pockets. Chinese Ho has the pasty 4 top Crab Rangoons .

I was introduced to Chinese Ho many, many years ago (as a little girl). I have tried numerous places over the years and nothing is like Chinese Ho. Now that I have moved back to the area, Chinese Ho is my ONLY place to get Chinese food. They even have changed ownership since I first had there food and the food is still the same...truthfully I think better since the "fresh, health kick" is going around. Yes, they have Brown Rice if you prefer. You can request no MSG as well. Their flavors are balanced and you actually taste flavor, too many places leave the food so bland. Love their egg rolls...I have never found anyone to top their flavor, crust, filling...nothing. Chinese Ho is always better! Some of my favorites: Egg Rolls, Beef & Broccoli, House Fried Rice, General Tso Chicken I just love these folks...kinda feel like we grew up together. :-)

I've been curious about Chinese Ho since we moved to the area. It took us two years, but we finally tried it for take-out. Our dinner was a bit of a disappointment. Nothing much impressive, and quite a few things appalling, like the crab rangoon. It was the worst I've ever had. Our steamed veggies were overcooked and soggy, our noodle dish was so saucy and hardly edible. The general's chicken was actually okay, but we certainly wouldn't order again just for that.

This has been my family's go to chinese place since I was about 5 years old. It's hard to compare it to other Chinese places because I haven't been to many others, but when making comparsions, Chinese Ho is. Their menu is diverse, and they can prepare special orders (no oil/msg, or low levels). I like that as a health conscious diner. They also offer brown rice, which not all chinese places do. I don't get rice either way; I like noodles or veggies! Anyways, my go to dish when I was younger was Sweet and Sour Chicken and Cantonese Noodles. I used to eat about a large box of noodles and a large order of the sweet and sour chicken by myself, then another box of noodles on top of that. My family would order about 10 boxes of noodles because I would eat them for lunch the next 5 days. These were back in my fat days. Now I order moo Goo Gai Pan and Steamed veggies. Another dish I like is their satay pork. I've never had anything bad here, and the staff have always been wonderful. Highly recommended (although Gianorio's Pizza in the County Farm Plaza is my fav restaurant in the area)

My family has been faithful customers of Chinese Ho for years. They have gone through a few owners but the food stays great. It always tastes fresh. Their egg rolls are my favorite out of any Chinese carry out place. They are the only place I can find pan fried noodles. I love their General Tsao's Chicken. I highly suggest you give it a try.

Pretty good for takeout. Portions are big and the price is reasonable! Staff Is friendly and our order is always correct. Our go-to for close Chinese.

I have lived in winfield for over 15 and never liked this place much. Tried it again tonight after reading there where new owners. Wow what an improvement. Flavores were fresh and the best Mongolian beef I've ever had.

I love this place. They have brown rice which is sweet. My favorites are the steamed vegetables, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Egg Foo Yung, and anything with pork. Our family orders from here when we have family parties. They probably love it because we order enough food for Tibet. Think of the name? Chinese Ho just keeps on giving and always keeps me satisfied.

Not good. We usually get Jin's, but they are closed on Sunday. After reading the reviews below, we decided to give this place a shot. It was really flavorless. Two of us had Szechuwan and it wasn't spicy at all. No runny nose! The pot stickers were really bland and the crab rangoon was all pastry with little filling. All in all it was a big disappointment and we won't be going back.

This is my favorite local Chinese Restaurant. In the interest of full disclosure I do order Orange Chicken every time for my entree, but it's the best around. The Crab Rangoon and Pot Stickers are also excelent.

I have yet to try something from "The Ho" (as me and my husband call it) that I didn't like. I'm always searching for a good shrimp and lobster sauce, and they've got a great one here. The appetizers are great as well - crab rangoon, egg rolls, etc. You can't beat their lunch special either - about $5 gets you a big serving of your chosen entree, a full sized eggroll, fried rice and a fortune cookie. All that, and it's ready to pick up in 10-20 minutes.

Most of the menu is pretty basic. However, the honey shrimp is one of the best dishes I've ever had. If I was on death row, that would be my last meal.

The food here is basic no-frills, no extra taste Chinese food. Decently priced and abundant portions. However, VERY very bland. I wouldn't run back here specifically....the egg rolls were bad, but the chop suey was eatable.

We heard about this place through friends and decided to try it out. We ordered our usual fare and I have to say this food was really lacking. The food was bland, the chicken tough, all the food flavors blended and we couldn't finish what we only had on our plates. Very disappointed!

Great food at a great price. I only gave 4 stars because no matter what time they promise it is always 5 to 10 minutes longer (15 min becomes 25).
