First and last time comes to mind when coming to a conclusion about this place. The good parts included the complimentary donuts and the tasty coffee. Service was fine but that's about it. The breakfast potatoes tasted like they were cooked in fish oil. I don't recall seeing anything on the menu that resembled fish other then the smoked salmon for lox and bagels. For some reason the potatoes had the essence of fish. That's not good in my book. Eggs benedict were nothing special and were not worthy of the 9 dollar price tag. My friend had eggs and waffles and the eggs were mush with what seemed like a heavy dose of butter. Everything was so rich I couldn't finish my plate which was a good thing because I was not willing to have another bite. One and done. I don't understand that the place was packed unless everyone is content with mediocrity or worse. My suggestion with all the other breakfast places around the area...save yourself a disappointment. I wish i did.

Has really gone down-hill. Lunch today: Corned beef hash benedict (mostly green pepper in the hash almost no corned beef, and runny. Eggs were still raw in parts.); tuna salad sandwich (just a thin layer of tuna salad); pedestrian french dip sandwich; decent fries; only a single soup on the menu (crappy creamed chicken & rice served luke warm) and no substitutes allowed. Service was decent--quick refills on the drinks. Sticking with Moondance from here on out.

I drive past this place pretty often and always wondered if it was any good. When I saw them on Groupon I decided to give them a try. My fiance and I went there this past Sunday for breakfast. I ordered the Spinach and Feta omelet with a side of pancakes. The omelet came with seasoned breakfast potatoes. My breakfast was delicious...I would say it is hard to mess up an omelet, but mine was made perfect. The potatoes and the pancakes were both very tasty. My Fiance ordered the breakfast sliders which also came with the breakfast potatoes. He had said several times that it was the best breakfast sandwich he's had in years. The waitress had confirmed that the sausage was homemade. He was talking about his breakfast sandwich all day! The homemade donuts were so good and were a nice way to start our breakfast. they're small and give only two to each person, which perfect to have a treat before your meal without spoiling your appetite. I would definitely recommend Juicy-O and would also return there.

I don't know why I didn't go here sooner! We love this place! Huge, generous portions with fresh, amazing food. Attentive service (ask for Heidi). Yes, the free donuts are good but the fresh squeezed juice and great coffee will keep us coming back. Plus, the quotes all over the walls are hilarious! Go enjoy this place!

Ate there last weekend. The Greek yogurt was inedible. The California crepes are eggs rolled in pancakes. Beyond bad service. The server informed the manager of our dissatisfaction. The manager told her "too bad" with us standing right with them at the register. We we not even acknowledged, just handed the bill. This one of off the list.

The waitstaff is pretty bad. Went the other day on a Saturday with my husband and 8 yr old daughter; throughout the entire time we were there, the waitress kept calling my husband "babe". Not very classy... Food is hit or miss....the quiche is terrible, pancakes excellent...but really, none of the food is consistent.... And management and the hostesses are severly lacking in people pleasing skills....

I agree with the person who wrote-don't, just don't. Terrible food, I actually felt sick for several hours afterwards.

Just opened last December 2009. Food is ok, nothing to rave about. My donuts were stale and food was decent. I prefer Blueberry Hill (very fast service) just south on Rt 83 at 74th Street or Eggstacy (incredible variety) in Oak Brook Terrace. Seems like they are not "customer satisfaction focused" like they should be. Maybe a management culture of indifference?? Seems like they are just not tuned to the customer? Maybe a little more "schmoozing" from the management would go a long way! I don't see this restaurant lasting more than a few years if things don't change. The old restaurant at this location (The Original Sandwich Factory) was extremely customer oriented and focused!! I hope a little of ithe OSF magic will rub off on Juicy-O's!! Competition is tough in this area!!

My 1 Star is based on Customer Service alone. We never even sat down. Went with my family to try it for the first time last weekend and when we were told it would be a 15-20 min wait we decided to take our 2 young children outside so as not to bother others. We went back in at exactly 13 min and were told, in a very snide tone, that our name was called "about 10 mins ago"...I kindly reminded her that she said 15-20 and her repsonse was "I guess a table opened up sooner" (in an even more unpleasant tone). She then told us we'd have to go to the bottom of the list and wait 20 mins. We left. I tried to email the company via the address on their website but it doesn't work. I'll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere!

My husband & I had breakfast at this Willowbrook Juicy-O location. We were very dissatisfied. First, the cook must have used a dirty stove or skillet bc both our eggs had burnt black pieces all over them. My husbands sausage was raw in the center. And there was a hair in my food. I should have looked up this location on Yelp (as many others had bad experiences here) before purchasing a groupon because this was the worst restaurant experience of my life.

Donuts in the beginning were a nice touch. I got the Italian sausage skillet. The sausage texture was off, don't think they were cooked properly. The potatoes were delicious though!

There are much better options for breakfast. There were 4 free little doughnuts, sure, but ours seemed anything but fresh. The OJ isn't fresh squeezed. The French Toast was well below average. The decor is VERY cheesy.

Went there for the first time. We tried their pancakes, french toast, and Spinach & feta cheese quiche. They were all good, especially the quiche. On the flip side, service was slow and coffee was always cold.

If Chef Banos from HO7 fame is associated with this establishment I'm even more disappointed. Inconsistent (2 of 3 visits proved poor) service, cold food and inferior quality and prep are what I experienced. Those that rated this place better than 1 star have low expectations.

**FYI, the location is actually the SW corner of 63rd St. and IL-83 (Kingery Hwy)** Went on a Sunday for brunch and probably won't be going back. The "hostess" (who may also be the owner or owner's spouse) wanted to seat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant and wanted to put our 2 year old in a highchair. When we told her we would prefer a booth near the windows (and would wait) and didn't need a highchair or a booster, she looked incredulous. When the next couple came in and agreed to be seated at a table, the hostess made a comment to them about not understanding why people don't want to sit at tables since they're perfectly good tables. She never smiled, never really greeted us and then when a booth opened up, she called our name, walked us over to the table and basically dropped 2 menus on the table and walked away. Our server was nice enough, but when my wife asked about a substitute of English Muffin for biscuits, the server went into a long story about how they can't make any substitutions on the menu and how she had already been yelled at by the owner for allowing someone to substitute sausage for bacon (or something to that effect). She did later apologize for sharing that information and stated that she needed to be more professional . . . then she proceeded to explain her boss's actions by telling me that he's Greek and looked for an affirming nod. The quality of food was alright, the restaurant has a nice open feel to it and the decor is novel . . . too bad it's wasted on poor customer service. If you're looking for good breakfast or brunch in the area, head down to Blueberry Hill just a little further south on the west side of IL-83 (Kingery Hwy) - that's what we do.

Options-a-plenty at Juicy-O. The complimentary, piping hot mini donuts were a fantastic start to the breakfast. I had to have the waitress come back multiple times because there were so many delectable treats on the menu that I wanted. In the end, I settled on the Breakfast Sliders which were fantastic. Other hits around the table were the fresh strawberry pancakes, breakfast tostada and the bacon/avocado omelette. I highly recommend (and definitely will come back to) Juicy-O!

The ambiance and overall appearance of the restaurant is quite nice. It is bright and colorful with tons of photos and funny quotes hung up all over the walls. Based on appearances, I was expecting MUCH better food. The complimentary donuts they put out are a nice touch, but are greasy and nothing special. I ordered the Healthy Scrambler (egg beaters with peppers, onions, mushrooms, toast, fruit), while my wife ordered a french toast dish with eggs, sausage, and bacon. The portions were smaller compared to other breakfast places we've been to. For instance, my wife's dish came with one piece of french toast cut in half, probably two scrambled eggs, a couple pieces of bacon, and two sausage links. Her eggs tasted like they were powdered, her sausage had a slimy texture, but the bacon was thick and tasty. The fruit that came with my meal was still partially frozen... Substitutions were also not allowed. My wife asked if she could sub hash browns in for the sausage, which you'd think they'd be happy to do since potatoes are cheaper than sausage. "They don't allow substitutions on that dish..." we were promptly told. Thus, we had to order hash browns as a side dish, and the sausage went to waste. If you are looking for good breakfast food, my advice is to go down the street a couple of blocks to Blueberry Hill.

Disappointing. Prices are high compared to other pancake houses and the food doesn't taste that good. Eggs were watery and seemed old. About the only good thing is the dish of free donuts. Albeit, cheap (because they only give you three small ones) and you have to beg for more. After you ask for another dish, they take about five minutes to serve it and by that time, your meal is almost up. I'd rather go to Grant Square in Hinsdale. Much better food, prices, and friendlier staff.

Just left the restaurant and am very very disappointed. Not only the service sucked but the food was awful too. Oh, and the coffee was cold. Was never asked how my lunch was by the owner or the server therefore i wasnt able to express how bad my experience was. Oh Juicy-o i dont know how you guys gonna make it, the free donuts will not save you- they suck as well.

I'm giving these guys 2 stars, and that's feeling a bit generous at this point! My husband and I went to Juicy-O's back when they first opened and weren't too impressed. My side of potato pancakes were very obviously cheap frozen potato pancakes and I could have picked up better ones at Whole Foods. We did try it again because it's less than 2 miles from our house and I found the quiche inedible. My husband had more traditional skillets and omelets with meat and said they were find. I went there today with a friend to give them one last chance because I received a coupon in the mail (and because I really enjoy supporting local businesses). This time I ordered a simple omelet, which was fine and my friend had a skillet, which was also just fine. BUT, when I got up to the counter to pay, the hostess informed me that the coupon had expired and she would get in trouble for taking it (even though she did mention there are a slew of current coupons out there). Now, a bit about the coupon--it was one of those that comes in the mail in an envelope with a bunch of other coupons. There were 3 "squares" on the right side of the paper, one offering buy one get one free breakfast, one offering buy one get one free lunch, and the final one offer a free senior soup. Well, evidently I just looked at the expiration date for the senior soup, which was listed last on the sheet of paper, which expires later this week. The first two sections or "coupons" expired earlier in the month! After paying full price for our meals, turns out they really weren't that good. Now, I would never want to get the hostess in trouble, but I would like the management to know that they just lost a customer over $7.95. Overall, the food is fair but the service and policies are a disgrace. I wish I would have paid full-price for a lunch at a much better restaurant today.

ugh this place has my heart in the morning thats for sure!!!! i've been there a couple of times in the morning and i must say everything ive ordered there has been deeeelicious! and the presentation is good too. and those donuts... addicting!!!! really makes it a kid friendly place doing that. prices arent too bad either. and the signs on the wall LOVE EM! i spend the majority of my time reading them lol

Was there at 8 a.m. on a Saturday. Not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes due to an employee meeting(?) being held. Not a good time for that if patrons are waiting. Servers and hostess need to be a little more friendly. Ordered the banana foster french toast (nothing more than french toast with sliced bananas on it). Where's the sauce and nuts, other than the pancake syrup I was brought. Mediocre, at best.

Overall, the service was adequate and the food was poor. On a positive note, we did not have to wait to be seated and yummy donuts were give to us before we could order. However, the food was not prepared as promised. We asked if the french toast was served soggy or well done and the server insisted it was not soggy. The food came out really quick, perhaps too quick. The french toast was soggy in addition to the scrambled eggs not being fully cooked. The eggs tasted like pure butter with uncooked eggs scrambled into it - ate one bite and I was done! The sausage links had a different taste to them, my boyfriend insisted they didn't have a taste at all but I didn't care for them, neither did he. We got a large OJ and questioned it's size, save your money, you'll get three large gulps with a large juice. We were asked if we wanted more coffee before our food came, we replied yes and didn't get a refill until after we were done with our food. It also took awhile to get the bill. Even though I live so close, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon...

I rarely give out two stars, but this place deserved it. It was truely a major disappointment as the Juicy O's off of Finley Road and Butterfield is pretty decent. My companion and I stopped in one weekday morning. In spite of my wifes warnings about this being a terrible place for lunch, I assured her that the breakfast experience would be much better. This place made me look like a fool and a liar. Service was super slow, in spite of the fact that there were people standing around all over the place and the place was nearly empty, it seemed like it took forever for the waitress to take our order. After making the order, there is another prolonged period where you are waiting for your food. The food? Those cute litte donuts were good, but the positives stop there. I ordered a Denver Omlette which was more like scrambled eggs with peppers, onions and ham mixed in. Sausage was bizarre tasting. And the jimmy potatoes were greasy cubes of overspiced potatoes, a waste of calories. My dates french toast wasn't bad but it was cold and soggy. Sub-mediocre food, slow service, not for this guy. Be a long time before I come back to this place.

This place is literally walking distance from my mother's house, and since she and I like to brunch most weekends, we were thrilled when it opened. We have gone twice: once when it was new, and once to make sure that's not really how bad the place would be all the time. Nope, it's that bad all the time. The highlight of this place are the tiny, sweet hot donuts you get free when you arrive. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those, and the place would have gotten more stars. Alas, the meal went on. The service is absolutely abysmal here. Be prepared for terse, air headed service. Both times, I waited at least 10 minutes for coffee, and rarely saw refills. I ordered some omelette that had pesto in it, and it was so greasy and disgusting I chose not to eat it after a few bites. When our waitress took our plates away, she asked if I wanted a box and I said no, but she never once asked why I wouldn't want all but three bites of the food. With so many great brunch places in the area (Blueberry Hill, Moondance Diner, Egg Harbor) I'm mostly surprised this place is still here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Lots of harsh critics on Yelp for Juicy-O. I've been to Juicy-O about 3 times and have had nothing but good experiences with them. The wait staff has been great, and food isn't all that bad. This is a huge restuarant in a strip mall, so they're almost they can probably handle a good size group almost all times of the day.

Great food. Love the donuts! Service is on both ends of the spectrum, occasionally it's awesome but for the most part it is terrible. If you can make the drive to Downers Grove, it's definitely worth your time. I miss the Bubble Teas, now they are just smoothies with no tapioca. Still the same flavor, but not the same experience. I guess I'm the only one who likes frozen carcinogen laced dough in my beverages, ok I'll get over it. If you do come here try the Jimmy's potatoes, feta and tomato scrambler and the triple berry "smoothie" Just don't expect the order to be correct, or to leave in a decent amount of time.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT ANY OUNCE OF GOOD SERVICE (except from the bus boys - the only ones who had their stuff together). Waited 20+ minutes just for my drink. Received the waters 30 minutes in. Food I ordered wasn't cooked properly; no one likes soggy bacon! Waitress was very meh, it showed on her face. Time for her to get a new job. This place needs a serious management upgrade! And there were countless other customers complaining during our 40+ minute of horrible service. If you want a great breakfast place with actual service and delicious food, go to BLUEBERRY HILL!!! That place never fails and you are usually in and out within 30 minutes with great service and a satisfied belly!

I really like this place for breakfast/brunch because of the options. I wish they had veggie sausage, though, that would be sublime. Busy and loud but a pretty well-oiled machine. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest, but I looked past that for the blintzes were delish. I loved the donuts they brought out. They have fresh juice.
(3)
Maranda E.
My favorite breakfast place. You can't go wrong with anything. Make sure you get Jimmy's Potatoes. They are the best. You won't be disappointed by anything. Also, the dietary options are great for the folks who cannot eat gluten.
(5)
Katie J.
Food is not bad, however the wait staff and cashiers are rude and incompetent which keeps us away. We have been here 4 times, each being a really bad experience with the wait staff. And we always seem to get the same, sad waitress (chubby, bobbed hair and blonde usually streaked with a reddish or different color) They dont even come around to ask if all is well, and the cashiers were ditzy and dumb. I have heard about better service at other Juicy Os but stay away from this one unless you are prepared for bad service. We rarely tip this girl for her rudeness.
(2)
Len V.
Excellent breakfast spot! Quality food and excellent service. Good value. The warm doughnuts start the meal out right. I was seated promptly and immediately greeted by Melody who provided outstanding service- pleasant and attentive. Steak and eggs with grits was an excellent choice. Coffee was hot, tasty and refilled constantly. Don't pass on this spot for breakfast.

Juicy-O Pancake House is located off Route 83, a convenient truck stop. It is a bright, cheerful family restaurant with lots of interesting sayings framed on the walls. For those who are famished upon entering, you will be pleased to know the free doughnut holes arrive promptly. For a table of two, we received four small doughnut holes at breakfast Sunday. When it comes right down to it, I do not recommend dining at Juicy-O. As many other reviewers have already written, the food ranges from average to downright awful. Thankfully I have never had the experience of being served moldy bread or been seated near an ant colony but...I have not been pleased. The Breakfast Fruit Crunch Parfait was pretty awful. It contains Greek yogurt which tasted rotten, and I am glad I did not get sick from it (though I didn't eat much). I have had mixed experiences with the chicken salad sandwich. The first time I ordered it, around when the restaurant first opened, I thought it was great. The second time it was quite average. There are better breakfast joints out there, I'm sure. I would skip this one.
(1)
Alex S.
Obviously by now everyone knows about the free donut. Is it worth it ... DUHH!!! They're amazing. Putting that aside, the food is pretty good but a little pricey unless you have a groupon or some kind of coupon. However, considering their huge menu and so many great things to choose from I'll continue coming back and slowly contemplating on whether to get lunch or breakfast food!!
(3)

Very kid friendly. Staff is very helpful and attentive. The mini donuts are a great start to the meal. Potatoes are grrrreat. Beware of sausage patties the size of hockey pucks but tasty.

I've only been here once, and I had a good experience - friendly waitress, decent omelette, great pancakes, and yummy free donuts. I loved that it was quiet with lots of room. No waiting time at all even though we went on a Sunday at 10 a.m. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. We'll have to try it again and see if we still like it.
(4)
Joe C.
Garbage!!!! Food sat on the table for 10 minutes before we could get cutlery. Manager was rude and outspoken. She tried to defend why the table did not have salt pepper and utencils. Instead of just apologizing, she starting name calling in front of my two kids.... Worst experience ever, choose Denny's......

We went here for the first time today for lunch. We had a great experience and I am surprised by all the bad reviews. Maybe we went on a good day but the service was very good and the food was very tasty. My burger wasn't cooked exactly to what I requested but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. The waitress also gave us an extra bowl of mini donut when we said it was our first time there. The soup was good and the sandwiches were very tasty. Our server was also very nice and attended to our needs promptly. I will be giving them another chance as I personally had a good experience here.

Good is about all I can say. The food was just good. The service was just good. The prices were just good. Full disclosure: I stay away from carbs and that is really their forte. The donut holes they brought out with the menus were hot and tasty. If you don't have high expectations and are looking for a good meal, this place is fine.

Love this place.....great service...great menu. This is the perfect breakfast after church on Sunday for my family and friends to gather. Love those delicious donuts they serve...hot and tasty ...soon as you sit down. Pancakes are scrumptious. Endless Egg dishes on the menu. Love to try a new one every time I go there. Bring the family...the price is right too

Visited on a Thursday at 11:30am. They weren't very busy. Service was slow. My meal came with soup, however, when my sandwich arrived and no soup, I had to remind the waiter (young latino man with mohawk) that it was missing. I ran out of tea twice. Sat with a party of 3 but we only had two place settings. We asked for mustard and was provided with a mostly empty bottle of mustard. I won't be coming back.

Service stinks! Reviews were correct. Our waitress was totally useless!!! Her ponytail looked like she just woke up. She never returned to make sure we needed anything. And on the way out we found out why, she was busy watching T.V. Donuts were great. Omelette was huge. Don't waste your time or waistline on the bread pudding French toast. Cold in the center, dry and flavorless. I love brioche bread and this was NOT brioche in any form. Next time I'm going to McDonalds.

The fresh squeezed OJ was great! The pancakes were really dense.. I prefer light and fluffy. I got the triple something or other, which came with blueberries, strawberries, & bananas. The banana was fresh (slightly brown). The blues & straws were cold, which quickly brought my pancakes down to below room temp. I'd just stay away from the pancakes.. Nothing was good about them. My wife ordered an omelette with jimmy potatoes (holy butter!). She was debating on pancakes or toast. The waitress should have suggested toast, since I got the pancakes, which came with 4. My wife got an additional 2 as the side to her omelette. We're taking 4 pancakes home... Theses days, I prefer quality over quantity. This place works the other way around... Your choice!

Horrible service. It took 30 minutes to get our coke. It was Labor Day but this was out right lack of organization. Our waitress just oozed apathy. I'm going to blue berry hill next time.

Nice and bright inside. Very friendly employees, our waitress was around often enough to make sure we had everything we needed. My wife ordered the crepes with strawberries, it was very good. I had the open face beef sandwich and soup. The soup seemed a bit overcooked, but it was close to closing time when we were there, so maybe it was made a few hours earlier. The mashed potatoes that came with my sandwich were thick and lumpy, not light and fluffy. But, they were tasty. We liked all of the signs on the walls, and had fun reading them while we were waiting for our food.

Nothing was satisfying about this place, except the doughnuts. The coffee was horrible. The food was horrible. Ambiance was cute. Service mediocre. Won't be coming back here

I have been here twice now. The first time I came I didn't really like the food that I ordered. The fresh doughnuts is a cute idea. I decided to give them a second chance and ordered something completely different, and still the food was just bland. I really wanted to like this place bc it's so close to home but I will not be coming back. And the customer service was fine both times I went.
(2)
Jessica H.
Eh, this place is just okay, from the service to the food. My omelet was huge but lacked flavor. The pancakes (also enormous) were good. I think my coffee was only topped off twice and we were there over an hour. $25 for two people before tip. There are many other local breakfast places I prefer, with better food and friendlier service.
(3)

If you are planning on going on a Saturday, plan on having some time, as it will take 30-45 mins to be seated. Food is okay, they told me that no onions in the "jimmy" potatoes was not an option as they are just made that way....the potatoes are loaded with onions, which are not my favorite. Ordered a corn beef hash skillet, VERY disappointed with the amount of corned beef hash in my skillet, hardly any at all. They give you complimentary, house made mini donuts, which are great with coffee, price point is average.... Would suggest blueberry hill or willow hills restaurant on Joliet and willow springs rd over this place though!

Sonya Z.
I must be insane to keep trying this place! The food is horrible and I don think the cook understands the concept of dicing...only slicing! Who wants to bite into a huge green pepper or onion for breakfast??!! And today was a new low....who puts squash in a veggie omelet? I'm sure they were left over from last night because as I picked them out they were soggy! Also who eats pancakes bigger than a frisbee? Please save your money and don't go here!

Juicy-O? Hmm . . . . .sounds more like a candy than a restaurant but that's another story for another day. Juicy-O is located at the end of a deserted strip mall. Open for only breakfast and lunch- I stopped in for lunch the other day after an appointment in the area. The space is wide open and the walls are covered in little framed "sayings" (a little kitschy but gave me something to read while I waited on my food!). The clientele on this week day? Seniors and moms with kids. I was seated immediately, handed a menu and within about 3 minutes- a small bowl of donut holes was put down before me. Warm and sugary- these were quite a nice surprise. My server was functional but not friendly- she took my order and scampered off to the kitchen. When she returned, she had my soup with her. A bit disappointing as usually in places like this- the soup is one of the best things on the menu. This soup lacked any taste and had the consistency of "from a can" cream of mushroom. As for mushrooms- there was one slice in the entire bowl. Not a great start. Next up- grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes which was surprisingly tasty served on whole grain bread. With two kinds of cheese- it was as good as my favorite place that makes this sandwich. The fries that came with it, however, were not "calorie worthy" and so remained uneaten. Total bill for lunch? $10. Fairly reasonable. Time from start to finish? About 30 minutes which was also good. Open for only breakfast and lunch- the breakfast portion of the menu is much more robust that the lunch one. Parking is free (it's a strip mall- and it's missing many tenants so you can park pretty much anywhere) And there appears to outside seating although that was not an option given on the day I was there. Doubt I would go out of my way to go here again as there are places I like better in the area, but an okay choice to grab a bite.

This place gets a lot of bad reviews, but the hubby and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. We have gone in to eat a few times. We didn't go during a really busy time and had no wait. The restaurant is pretty good sized inside so they can seat quite a few people at a time. We enjoy the decor as there are a lot of cute/funny little sayings on the walls. We have also gotten take out a few times. We call in the order and pick it up. We have not had any problems with the food at all. It has always been good and fresh and correct. No complaints from us so far!

This place is soooo over rated! Long wait for table, prices were high, food was not good, service was mediocre. It started with cold donuts coming to the table that did not taste fresh and went down hill from there. Would not go back. $30 for 2 people to eat breakfast and the food was horrible. Not worth it!

I liked this place when it first opened but now...not so much. I got to sit next to a colony of ants, that was awesome. In that same visit they served my niece a kiddy pizza with spoiled cheese. For real it wasn't blue cheese or anything it was rotten mozzarella and it smelled like puke. The orange juice is good.

In this update, I just lowered the rating from 2 stars to 1 star. This visit was mid-morning on 11/19/12. It was our second try at breakfast. We ordered the same order as the first time. My wife's cinnamon swirl was okay, but the cinnamon was inconsistent - some parts had more, some less. I again ordered the Silver Dollar Dozen pancakes. AGAIN, I ONLY RECEIVED EIGHT PANCAKES!!!!! Can't these people count? When I pointed out the 8 versus the 12, the waitress came back with some LAME EXCUSE that the cook must have "used the kids menu." HUH??? Even if a kid's menu was used, 12 is 12 AND NOT 8. I have to wonder if Jucy-O's hires really stupid people or likes to cheat its customers - give the customer 8 pancakes, and only the full dozen if they ask. Unbelievable with maybe a bit of larceny involved .. We will not be coming back anytime soon, or ever. There are simply too many other places for breakfast. The pancakes did taste good, as did the sausage links. That is not a good enough reason to come back to a place that doesn't seem able to count from 1 to 12. Service was okay, overall. At least the coffee was refilled frequently. We tipped the waitress 10% --- she should have checked that the order was what was ordered AND that 12 is 12, not 8. She's lucky she got any tip.

This restaurant is cute, but the service is mediocre at best and the food is nothing to write home about. My ham/swiss/mushroom omlette was decent. The coffee was bad (no flavor). I didn't touch my pancakes, but they didn't look good. My sister ordered off the "specials" menu - carrot cake french toast with cream cheese filling. Sounds like something that would be really sinful and ooey-gooey, right? Well it wasn't. It was bland, boring and totally not worth it. I probably won't eat here again.

Soooo, I have a coupon for buy one, get one free entree... I was like, hey I might as well try this place. My bf and I used the coupon today, sad to say.. Even if I had another coupon. I will never eat here again... Gross.... Gross... Gross.... Positives first... The place looks clean and bright... The "sayings" on the wall is cool to read while getting seated or waiting for our food... *sigh* *yawn*. That's the best part of this brunch.. The rest went down the drain... Boy, where do I start with the bad stuff?? There's too many... 1. Front of the menu shows their new product "bubble tea". Bubble tea is like a fruit shake with huge tapioca pearls at the bottom.... I was so excited to try it.... heck yeah.... Being Asian... I love bubble tea.... Hell no... When they brought the drink to me... I wanted to throw it to the manager... I ordered mango banana, didnt taste anything like it... Didnt taste mango or banana??? The tapioca was soooooo gross... Can I say this again? Grooooooossssss.... The tapioca was hard and cold.... Which shouldnt be... If you try the bubble tea @ the International Asian Mall (Ogden & pasquinelli rt 34, huge building on the right, between Triple crown restaurant and Best Western hotel) The tapioca is always soft, chewy and dee-lish.... I can't get enough.... The worst part of this is, for customers who try bubble tea for the first time, might think all bubble teas are the same... So I urge everyone who reads this... If you want quality and refreshing drink... Try the international mall, they only take cash, it's a food court type, there's 4 Chinese/Thai restaurants that offer bubble tea... You can't go wrong... The best I have tasted is avocado bubble tea..... Yea yea, u might say gross, my bf (african italian) said the same thing... He tried it and now addicted to avocado bubble tea like crazy, like ordering at least every two weeks... I am not THAT addicted, but since he gets me one, why not right? I asked the server to bring me another one... She said, a new batch will be made but it will take 10 mins... I'm like ok... I will give them another chance... Our meal was almost over, when I got my "other new bubble tea" shit... It's freaking same?! Frozen hard tapioca....What the hell? 2. Waitress can't seem to get anything right, from bringing pancake syrup, Greek toast missing, cheddar cheese side order.... f**ck... What wad she on? I wanted to ask her, what was she smoking, for crying out loud, dammit.... 3. Food sucked soooooo bad... I would rather go to Harvest, down the street (63rd and fairview) my skirt steak was unseasoned, ordered medium... Came out well done... Hash brown was cold, scrambled eggs was cold and overly cooked, super dry.... My bf didn't like his food either... 4. Server didnt even check on us, if we like our food, or if we need anything else... We had to call her to request for something she forgot to bring.... Arghhhhhhhh.... 5. Bill was $19 plus tip, With a buy one get one coupon.... Never again.... Never ever, never ever, blah food, blah service..... Blaaaaaaaah....

Stopped in here on a whim with a hungry stomach. though the place was empty, our service was slow, we did find out it was 10 minutes to closing time. I inquired if they were still seating or else we could go somewhere else, but they chose to seat us. The sausage and pancakes were decent, the home made mini donuts were great, the highlight of the meal was the Strawberry Milkshake, simply put, the BEST I have had to date in the Midwest and East coast, smooth and delicious. What qualifies it as the BEST, my experience of ordering Milkshakes in 15 states I have traveled through on the east coast and Midwest ordering milk shakes at every stop along the way. Cheers!

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed, forgot our donuts and then when we finally got them, they were nothing great . I had an egg dish, seemed bland, but I was hungry after a long run. This place seems slightly under Egg Harbor, but we don't have many good breakfast choices in the suburbs.

This place is awful. A few girls and I went here for lunch a few weeks ago and literally experienced the worst service I've had in years. YEARS. The server made us feel like we were bothering her, and she was impatient and totally F*&$-ING rude. I heard her drop the F bomb more than once, and loudly yell Shit and run away when something happened. She was really brazen, and just basically a total trash ball. I was mortified. We wanted a nice quick lunch out during work, and it took forever, and the food was just okay. I don't really think it's worth the price, especially when Moondance isn't that far away- which is cheaper and the service is usually amazing there. Granted, their donuts are good. And that's why I gave it one star. I will never go here again. Hire trash, and your restaurant looks like trash.

I have been here several times and have not had a problem with the service provided. It always seems like a nice friendly place to me! It is a little pricey but the Groupon offers are helpful. The food is OK, I have never had a bad meal. It's not the most wonderful food I've ever had but it does the job when you are looking for a quick breakfast or a sandwich. Last time we were in we had the fastest breakfast ever! Free doughnuts are always a nice touch! I'll be back for sure!

Great service today, but lousy food. I had pancakes and they were terrible. Tough to botch good old American pancakes. I got the sense this place is about quantity, not quality.

Bright roomy dinning area. The service was good The food was very good and waitress came around often but not too much. The only real negative was that the bus boys were noisier than I have ever heard at any other restaurant. It was like they were trying to make as much noise as possible. They need to fix this.Once they were out of there it was fine.

JUICY O...NO WAY! Mediocre service would be a compliment. Our waitress was more concerned with eating donuts and talking to other waitresses than her customers. Busboys did more serving then waitress. But when we left, she shot like a bullet to the table to collect tip....what a joke. Can't believe Owners/Managers don't break up the chat circle! Soup came from a can....looked like gruel, eggs were rubber and had a strange taste, my daughter's medium burger was definitely well done and place could use a good cleaning. For this we waited 20 minutes to be seated and paid $60 for late breakfast for four? Close this place and bring back the Sandwich Factory! Pay attention when reviews say this place has gone downhill fast. No need to EVER go back here!

Huge portion sizes for decent prices. Great food! Their portions seem to be 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of other restaurants, but priced the same. Their pancakes take up an entire plate. Good service too.

Good experience the first visit - who among us doesn't like free donuts. The next two visits the service was poor. Yesterday, our final visit, we had a bad situation. The waitress we like from seeing her at other restaurants. But when our meal arrived, every slice of toast was moldy. On the crust, pretty easy to spot, but the cooks toasted it anyway. We signaled out our waitress, she grabbed them and I heard her notify a manager on duty. My wife had poached eggs so she was a bit annoyed because they got cold waiting for the remake on the toast. I get it, this stuff happens in restaurants. What I would have liked to have seen is the manager, whom was notified, drop by the table to apologize. No coupons, no deduct off the check, just drop by the table. We referred other friends here and they all gave it one try and said basically, "it stinks". We went a few more times, before giving it up. Too bad. We wanted to make it our go to breakfast place.

Juicy-O was a major disappointment for me, but I may give it a second chance. My husband and I LOVE Heaven on Seven, so we did have high expectations. The worst thing about this place was the service. Our waitress was slow, unhelpful, and lazy. She never refilled our water glasses, took entirely too long to take our lunch order, and rarely checked in with us. And the place was dead. If it weren't for the food, I would be giving this review 1.5 or 2 stars. The doughnuts were awesome, peanut butter banana milkshake was fantastic, burgers were decent, and soups were just okay - but complimentary! I want to go a second time and order off the breakfast menu, as that seems to be their specialty, but I don't know if I can tolerate the horrible service.

The wait took 25 minutes. Service was poor. Our food came to the table lukewarm. One of our orders was wrong & we noticed other tables had same problem. Donuts were the highlight.

I had a broccoli omelet with some sausage added, the special potatoes, toast, and coffee. The omelet was large and tasty. I didn't really like the special potatoes, but give them a try, you might like them. Decaf coffee had decent flavor but could have been stronger. The free donuts were tasty. Not a destination breakfast spot, but certainly good if you're in the area. There is also a coffee bar which is good for picking up drinks quickly.

Hubby had purchased a Groupon to Juicy-O and wanted to take me out for brkfst. Since I'd eaten, a few times, at other Juicy-O's and was not at all impressed, I told him to take a friend. Well fast forward a few months and the Groupon was ready to expire. We had just come from my Dr. appt. where I received good news about some test results and wanted to "celebrate" a little. We hadn't had lunch yet, and hubby said "anywhere I want to go". We're frugal and like a bargain, so (against my better judgement!) I suggested we just use up that Groupon. He joked as we passed a 99 cent hotdog place, that we could stop there. I said "sure" but he kept going. We arrived at Juicy-O around 1:45 p.m. There were about 4 other tables with people, so it was quiet. Our waitress didn't show up at our table for about 10 minutes, at which time she asked if we wanted any beverages. When we said "no" she just kept right on past us to the next table, didn't even ask if we were ready to order. When she came back, another 10-15 minutes later to take our order, she apologized that they "let everyone else go home already"- so it appeared that she was the only waitress- and not too happy about it. I ordered the quiche with fresh fruit. Took a chance on the apple cheddar quiche, after her vote of approval. It came with a soup- which she forgot to bring until after my meal. The quiche was horrible! The apple didn't taste like apple at all. I had only eaten a few bites, but then hubby and I actually ended up finishing it off just trying to figure out what was wrong with the apples. They had NO flavor, except a bit of salt- as if they'd been pre-cut and soaking in saltwater overnight. They were not crisp, at all- like you'd expect to get from a partially cooked apple. There was absolutely no other flavors in the quiche. Couldn't detect cheddar, and the egg flavor was non-existant. There were no seasonings. And the "fresh" fruit tasted as if it had absorbed all the other refrigerator smells. The whole time, I kept wondering where the donuts were. Then figured that they are probably only given out for breakfast. When waitress came back, my husband informed her that the food just wasn't good. She immediately left and went to tell management. All we wanted was the check so we could leave. Well, after another 10 minutes, she came back and informed us that they'd taken the quiche off the bill, but that we couldn't use the Groupon. Then she also brought us a take-out container of old donuts that she "forgot" to bring to us when we first arrived. (donuts were stale...some even "crispy") So in the end, all was not lost- cause we were able to apply the amt. paid for the Groupon to the remainder of the bill and then get the heck out of there. Now Hubby understands why I think that place is nasty. What a way to "celebrate". Will never go back! ...And I was regretting, all day, not stopping for that 99 cent hot dog!

Ordered two dozen donuts to go. They made them hot and fresh for me. The donuts were okay a little skimpy on the cinnamon and sugar. Nothing compared to Kirschbaum's in Lagrange.

Nice, local, homey feel to it. Portions are large for a good price, and food is reasonably tasty. Service is fast (free mini-donuts!), and the walls are full of good humor. Food starts with mini donuts, and they are delicious. I could sit down and just eat these all day long, so hot and fresh, not too greasy either, just delicious. The Pigs In a Blanket are quite substantial. The sausages aren't as long as the pancakes, but that's because the pancakes are massive and not because the sausages are small. I was in after running a 10-mile race, clearly very hungry, and could not finish all the food on the plate. The pancakes themselves were average pancakes, taste good with syrup, and the sausages were comparable. The Chipotle Benedict looked good, and has a solid flavor. It comes with potatoes, and while they looked seasoned there isn't much on there.

Juicy-O is a rock solid breakfast place that I enjoy eating at when I am in the suburbs. During my last few visits this has been consistent: - We are able to get seated within 15 minutes of arriving (almost immediately most times). - The little bowl of donuts is good small taste of what is to come (and a fun conversation piece) - The coffee is solid for a breakfast place - The service is friendly, welcoming, and fast - The food is good and comes out pretty fast The past few times I have had the Chipotle Benedict, the Eggs Florentine, and the pancakes. All of them have hit the spot for a Saturday morning breakfast. I would recommend and I do keep on coming back to Juicy-O. A plus is that there is always something to read on the walls that has a lot of good snark.

I wish I could give this place no stars. We came in the other day for a late breakfast and apparently the two waitresses that were on staff were too busy talking to each other and not waiting on the ONLY two tables with customers. Sad. What's even more sad is the bus boy took our order and tried his best to wait on our table. NOTE to Management: Perhaps you may want to train your staff and yourself to be better at serving/waiting on customers. I saw you come out of the back and yet you did nothing about the lack of service we were receiving. I know you saw me. Also, you might want to promote that bus boy that did his very best to help serve us. NOTE to Consumers: Don't waste your time in coming to this place. Go to another breakfast diner down the road. Heck,.... go to McDonald's. At least there, you know you'll get service and better food. WTF is "Jimmy Potatoes"?
(1)

This place has great servers and the food is always fresh and top notch. Doughnuts are yummy, all the juice is fresh. Jimmy's potatoes are a must! We are here once a month, it's not far and is our go too for a solid breakfast!

Since we knew the menu, we just placed our orders without reviewing the menu. Big mistake! Yesterday, we ordered 2 skillets, and 2 coffees. $30.28 without tip. Not one single person was there other than my husband and I. Their prices increased the Tuesday before Labor Day. For $30, we could have dined at Ditka's. Never again.

Really not worth it. The other Juicy-Os are ok but this one is just horrible. A lot of people sit around here not doing anything which drove me crazy as I waited close to an hour for eggs. The staff is rude and when you do say something they go to the host stand and pointing and laugh and people. Kind of like high school. I would avoid this one.

I'm giving props for the service. The food is hit-or-miss at this restaurant. On the last visit, the cheddar cheese and apple omelette with Jimmy potatoes (basically O'Brien potatoes at other restaurants) with toast was good. Not great, but good. On other visits, when I have come in at lunchtime or later, I would often have to send the potatoes back to the kitchen because they were usually 'old.' Servers and chef are accommodating when potatoes need to be sent back, but naturally, it disrupts the meal when one has to wait for fresh potatoes to be made and redelivered to the table. The signs on the wall are interesting to read. Like too many restaurants in this area, this restaurant closes mid-afternoon which isn't accommodating for many people. Maybe that's why they let their afternoon potatoes go stale on the grill so often rather than making fresh ones - because they'll be closing soon anyway... Lots of people like the little hot sugary doughnuts that come out when you're seated. I don't - but everyone who ever went here with me loves 'em. Again, it's hit-or-miss here.

Terrible. Food was bland, horrible and took forever to get out. Eggs didn't taste like eggs, bacon was grissly, potatoes weren't seasoned, asparagus in my omelette was way overcooked, pancakes were plain. Whole family left our plates full. Service was fine I guess. Don't come here. Nothing else to say.

What can I say!? Upon meeting a friend here I slipped in their wet inner doorway floor. I am waiting to see how I feel tomorrow!! Their manager was very unsympathetic and was getting very rude with me! Telling me that they've had problems with the condensation in their front doorway?! I cannot believe the way I was treated and would NEVER come back to this establishment again!! She kept saying my shoes (flip flops) were the problem when I scaled a 10 ft fence in them and they stayed on just fine!! The problem was your wet slick floor!! And if you have a problem with it then you make sure you have carpeting down in all your walk ways or have someone mopping the floor between customers! After this whole thing they don't even comp our bill- poor taste in my mouth!! Never again!! Beware!

The main draw is the free mini donuts. The machine was broken so no donuts. Then we w was sat at a really wonky table. After the waitress spilled coffee across the table while pouring we asked to move to a booth vs. the wonky table. She lets us but with attitude. Overall throughout service she was very gruff and rude.

This was the third time eating there and enjoyed it every time. The little donuts they bring in the beginning are a super little treat and the coffee was fresh. I had the Southern Breakfast, biscuits and gravy and eggs scrambled with the Johnnies potatoes. All of this was to the edges of my large plate! Food was amazing, potatoes were deliciously crisp! All in all fantastic meal! I couldn't eat it all had to bring some potatoes and a sausage gravy biscuit home! Will be back!

I don't know if it's the free mini donuts, restaurant decor, skirt steak skillet or Jimmy's potatoes, but something keeps making me come back. Maybe it's all four! Upon entering the restaurant, you can't help but look at the bajillion signs hanging on the wall with the most random quotes. Yes, it's a little tacky but gives off a family-restaurant feel. You get seated by the host as you approach the counter. The dining area is pretty open, and you won't feel like you're too close to other tables. My go-to dish is the skirt steak skillet (without cheese). The Jimmy's potatoes are to die for! Definitely enough for two people because it also comes with a stack of pancakes that are bigger than your face. The only downside with this dish is it's a little on the greasy side. Is it worth clogging your arteries? Perhaps! You probably shouldn't come here trying to eat healthy. Chances are it probably won't taste good. Overall, definitely worth trying!

I went here a couple of times and was very happy with the food and service. At those times, this place had a 3.5 star rating on Yelp. I'd have given it 4 stars at the time. I recently took a friend there because I liked it a lot (especially Jimmy's Potatos). The food was still very good. But, the service was horrible. Our waitress came by once to take our order. Drinks, donuts, and food were all brought out by other people (the waitress was still there, just taking other orders, and standing around chatting with other workers). Nobody brought syrup for the french toast. I waited a couple of minutes thinking that the waitress, or somebody at least, would stop by and make sure that we didn't need anything else. But, nope. Our waitress was standing around chatting with other workers for a good 5 minutes. We tried to wave her over as she was facing our direction. But, no luck. We had to get up, go to our waitress and ask for syrup. She brought it out, with our check, and we didn't see her again. No drink refills the whole time that we were there either aside from water (because others handle that, not the waitresses apparently). So, the bussers and the people handling the water were great. The waitress though was horrible. I'll give this place another shot sometime, but it's going downhill at the moment. It's lost a full star on Yelp since I started going there 9 months ago, and judging from the reviews, that is all due to service issues, not the food.

As soon as you walk in it smells amazing. The freshly made donuts are to die for. Of course I walked out with buying a dozen for later and that didn't last that long, yum! The portions of food are huge I got the southwest omelet it was amazing but there was no way that I was able to finish it all myself. I definitely recommend getting the fresh squeezed orange juice it is absolutely heaven!

Great lunch spot. The staff is helpful and fast, the food is very good, and the servings are quite large. The chicken tortilla soup was fantastic.

Honestly shocked this place only has 2.5 stars! I've been brings filly here for a few years and we've always had great experiences. Sometimes it is PACKED, in which case you can understand waiting a little while. It's worth the wait! Once seated i have only ever experienced fast, courteous service. The kids love the bowl of doughnuts!

Hangover or not, getting seated with a couple of mini donuts is pretty tough to beat. Aside from the free donuts, I was really impressed with my food. I didn't even order a "healthy" meal and I was really impressed with the lack of oil & grease. A typical breakfast dish unfortunately comes covered in grease and I leave feeling nauseous. This was far from greasy. This may not sound like a raving review but that's a pretty important aspect of a meal to me! Can't wait to go back :)

I went here for the first time this past Sunday. Got there before 9, so it wasn't crowded. Service was good, but the food was great. I had apple pancakes, jimmy potatoes and sausage patties. To say the pancakes were HUGE is an understatement. I did a five mi run before going, so I was starving when I arrived. I could only ear two of my pancakes and a few potatoes and my sausage patties. I was full. I ended up taking my food home and eating it for dinner around 7pm that day. I will be back again.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is usually good. The atmosphere is pleasant but the customer service is kind of hit and miss. I've been here sometimes and had great servers, others times...like today, not so much. The food is priced well, and you are presented with nice size portions. Where they get you is their juice and specialty coffee, which come in small glasses or tea cups and cost at least $3. You think Starbucks' mochas are expensive...you haven't seen anything. The complimentary bowl of doughnuts is a nice touch. Today I had my usual chicken mushroom skillet and it was particularly delicious. I'll be back.

Had brunch there today. Was a little worried after reading a large number of negative reviews. But I can honestly say, my visit today was very pleasant. We had a party of 9 and called ahead. Upon arriving a table was all set for us. Even though it was a pretty full house, service was prompt and professional throughout. We had 9 different food items and everyone commented how good their meal was. The entire facility was clean. I will definitely visit this place on my next visit up north. I suggest you take the negative comments with a grain of salt, because some people can just never be pleased. I suggest you visit the place and form your own opinion. Good job to the staff and management.

I've been here numerous times. I miss what this place use to be (sandwhich factory!) Juicy O use to be one of my favorites but have since fallen off. The donuts are a nice touch while waiting for your food. The food is okay. It's pretty standard. I usually order the steak and eggs and the steak is different every time I get it. The service is inconsistent. The juice is expensive for what it is and comes in a little cup. They have a lot of buy one get one free offers around here and that's the only reason I'd go. Regularly for the price, I'd go somewhere else.

Roomy place, really busy. Homey place rather than "trendy". Breakfast food is ok, LOVE the fact that we get free fresh donuts while we wait for our food:) You get a lot for what you pay for. I'll go back if I'm in the area. Service was friendly.

I am not sure what happened today but it was the worst meal I have had in a very long time. I came at 12 noon craving breakfast and ordered a cheese omelette with Jimmys potatoes and wheat pancakes. 20 min later I receive my omelette and potatoes. The omelette had a fish taste to it and the potatoes were very dry. I did not receive my side of pancakes until 10 min after my omelette arrived. I thought to myself. Hey the pancakes will make up for this. Well they were burnt on one side. That taste is still in my mouth. My server never asked why didn't I eat my food... She could care less. I did complain on the way out and the hostess seemed concerned but never again will I be back to this location. If only the cooks would stop and think. Hey would I eat this? My favorite location is on RT 59. I will never stray again. Do not go here, at least not for breakfast during lunch hours. :( they could have given me at least half off. If it didn't take so long to get the first one I would have asked for new.

I went here because of a groupon I purchased and I will definitely be coming back! Juicy-O has many different sayings, phrases, and quotes on the wall so it makes the waiting time much shorter. The service was pretty good. The free doughnuts were much better than expected. The smoothie and fresh juice was delicious! The food was very good also! It was okay priced and the hostess was very friendly. The only con is the parking is horrible, but that's understandable because it's in a shopping market. I definitely recommend it!

I've tried this place twice and I should have learned after my first visit here. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the donuts are good. The hostess sat us down right next to a huge party table with a bunch of screaming children when there were plenty of other empty tables to sit at. When the server came I politely asked if we could move, but she had this rude and clueless look on her face and replied "I don't know where to put you." We got up and found our own seat, leaving her section. The next waitress was really nice at first. It took 45 minutes for our food to come... we ordered an omelet and pancakes. Why it took that long is beyond me. My pancakes were scalding because they were undercooked and mushy inside. We hardly saw our waitress after that. Our water glasses were empty for about 15 minutes and the whole time I saw the waitress sitting by the hostess not doing a damn thing. The only people who actually work hard are the buss boys.

Don't, just don't.

(1)Brian D.

(5)Gordon A.
(1)Anastasia T.
(2)Elizabeth C.

(2)R R.

(1)Harsha M.
Donuts in the beginning were a nice touch. I got the Italian sausage skillet. The sausage texture was off, don't think they were cooked properly. The potatoes were delicious though!
(3)Stelios G.
There are much better options for breakfast. There were 4 free little doughnuts, sure, but ours seemed anything but fresh. The OJ isn't fresh squeezed. The French Toast was well below average. The decor is VERY cheesy.
(1)Uma I.
Went there for the first time. We tried their pancakes, french toast, and Spinach & feta cheese quiche. They were all good, especially the quiche. On the flip side, service was slow and coffee was always cold.
(3)M C.
If Chef Banos from HO7 fame is associated with this establishment I'm even more disappointed. Inconsistent (2 of 3 visits proved poor) service, cold food and inferior quality and prep are what I experienced. Those that rated this place better than 1 star have low expectations.
(1)Ed J.
(2)Joe R.
(4)Eric K.
(1)Danny J.
(2)Katie H.
(1)Colleen M.
(2)Jessica C.
ugh this place has my heart in the morning thats for sure!!!! i've been there a couple of times in the morning and i must say everything ive ordered there has been deeeelicious! and the presentation is good too. and those donuts... addicting!!!! really makes it a kid friendly place doing that. prices arent too bad either. and the signs on the wall LOVE EM! i spend the majority of my time reading them lol
(5)Mary Ann S.
(2)Zen T.
(2)Jeffery S.
(2)Amy R.
(1)Abhay S.
(4)Lynn S.
(4)Danielle W.
(1)Sonja B.
(3)Maranda E.
My favorite breakfast place. You can't go wrong with anything. Make sure you get Jimmy's Potatoes. They are the best. You won't be disappointed by anything. Also, the dietary options are great for the folks who cannot eat gluten.
(5)Katie J.
(2)Len V.
(5)Jo R.
(1)Alex S.
(3)Mr M.
Very kid friendly. Staff is very helpful and attentive. The mini donuts are a great start to the meal. Potatoes are grrrreat. Beware of sausage patties the size of hockey pucks but tasty.
(4)Star R.
(4)Joe C.
Garbage!!!! Food sat on the table for 10 minutes before we could get cutlery. Manager was rude and outspoken. She tried to defend why the table did not have salt pepper and utencils. Instead of just apologizing, she starting name calling in front of my two kids.... Worst experience ever, choose Denny's......
(1)Tracy O.
(4)Dan R.
Good is about all I can say. The food was just good. The service was just good. The prices were just good. Full disclosure: I stay away from carbs and that is really their forte. The donut holes they brought out with the menus were hot and tasty. If you don't have high expectations and are looking for a good meal, this place is fine.
(3)Denise S.
Bring the family...the price is right too
(4)Margaret S.
(2)Maris W.
(2)Adam B.
(1)John S.
Doughnuts are sugary delight. Omelets are big portions. Gravy on the biscuits are creamy. Always busy. Bring an appetite. A big appetite.
(3)Ray D.
Good breakfast place. Nothing amazing but very good place for pancakes and omelets etc.
(4)Marvin N.
Horrible service. It took 30 minutes to get our coke. It was Labor Day but this was out right lack of organization. Our waitress just oozed apathy. I'm going to blue berry hill next time.
(1)Roger S.
(3)Christopher S.
Nothing was satisfying about this place, except the doughnuts. The coffee was horrible. The food was horrible. Ambiance was cute. Service mediocre. Won't be coming back here
(1)Jess K.
(2)Jessica H.
(3)Dave E.

(1)J Q.

Just good!!!! HOWEVER..... the last time my husband and I visited the check was close to 30$............ ???? Still good.

Cheers!
(3)Kristin S.
(2)Stef F.
(1)Susan D.
(4)Brian W.
Great service today, but lousy food. I had pancakes and they were terrible. Tough to botch good old American pancakes. I got the sense this place is about quantity, not quality.
(2)roy l.
Bright roomy dinning area. The service was good The food was very good and waitress came around often but not too much. The only real negative was that the bus boys were noisier than I have ever heard at any other restaurant. It was like they were trying to make as much noise as possible. They need to fix this.Once they were out of there it was fine.
(3)Marty T.
(1)James M.
Huge portion sizes for decent prices. Great food! Their portions seem to be 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of other restaurants, but priced the same. Their pancakes take up an entire plate. Good service too.
(4)Bill R.
(2)Jen M.
(3)Lisa C.
The wait took 25 minutes. Service was poor. Our food came to the table lukewarm. One of our orders was wrong & we noticed other tables had same problem. Donuts were the highlight.
(1)George A.
We had a group of 8 for brunch and everyone enjoyed our meal. Our server was very good.
(4)Dave M.

(1)David H.
Ordered two dozen donuts to go. They made them hot and fresh for me. The donuts were okay a little skimpy on the cinnamon and sugar. Nothing compared to Kirschbaum's in Lagrange.
(3)Frank O.
(4)KC V.
(4)Ani L.
(1)C D.
This place has great servers and the food is always fresh and top notch. Doughnuts are yummy, all the juice is fresh. Jimmy's potatoes are a must! We are here once a month, it's not far and is our go too for a solid breakfast!
(5)Nancy W.
(1)Richard B.
(1)S. P.
(3)Jim S.
(1)Michelle I.
Beware!
(1)Shannon S.
(2)Craig M.
(5)J W.
Horrible just horrible !! I have not had food this bad in a long time. Service was very slow and just flat-out lazy. I would never go here again nor would I recommend anyone to go here.
(1)Shirley J.
(4)D M.
(3)Joanne D.
(5)Missy R.
Great lunch spot. The staff is helpful and fast, the food is very good, and the servings are quite large. The chicken tortilla soup was fantastic.
(5)Jon S.
(5)Jessica M.
(5)EL Y.
Eggs had the consistency of snot and the bacon was sooooo salty and chewy like beef jerky. Last minute decision to go here for breakfast. Never again.
(2)Brian S.
(5)Michael M.
(3)Joe W.
(4)Christina A.
(3)Dinah T.
Roomy place, really busy. Homey place rather than "trendy". Breakfast food is ok, LOVE the fact that we get free fresh donuts while we wait for our food:) You get a lot for what you pay for. I'll go back if I'm in the area. Service was friendly.
(4)Jim W.
