This is a little place with about a dozen tables located at the end of a strip mall. It's a little known gem. Great lunch specials and a good assortment of Chinese and Cantonese. Congee on saturday and sunday. Friendly staff . The patrons seem to be predominantly chinese. Lot's of menu items you don't normally see. Not a great dining experience but then it is a great value and I have always been happy with everything that I tried.

I've been driving by this place for around 10 years and wow I have definitely been missing out. Great Chinese food all around. They have your classic Americanized Chinese dishes but make them alot better than the competition. My favorite part of the menu was the authentic Chinese dish specialties. The salt and pepper shrimp was divine and the Stir Fried string beans are amazing. I would also recommend the Mongolian Beef/Mongolian Chicken and the fried rice is pretty solid. Everything is spiced perfectly here and all the spicy dishes had just the right amount of spice. This place is great, one of the best places to get Chinese food in the burbs and the prices seem to be slightly below other places. Will definitely make weekly visits to this joint from now on!

Not impressed, ordered carry out, food was not tasty and the order was wrong. I will not return.

Called on several occasions and was told there wasn't a delivery driver. Most recently the owner gave me 3 separate excuses as to why she couldn't deliver my food. First she said there wasn't a delivery driver. Then she said there were more chefs working before for their small business- what that has to do with food being delivered; bubbles float in my head. She then talked to the driver once more and he told her he had too many orders and he was the only one working and couldn't do it. Seriously?

Just found this place. Passed by many times and never saw it. Lunch specials are inexpensive with larger than expected portions. So far had the orange chicken which was OK and general chicken which was very good. I plan to go down the lunch menu and try most of the items.

It was my first time coming here and she didn't ask if I wanted fried or white rice. Normally i get white but I didn't want to complain when I received the fried rice. I ordered their orange chicken lunch special. The orange sauce is very citris-y. I love it, but they could take the sugar down a notch. It was starting to taste like desert. My chicken was also DRENCHED in sauce. Come on now... I didn't ask for an orange soup! I don't know if they did that because the western culture enjoys the extra sauce. The fried rice is the typical lazy version of fried rice. A ton of soy sauce, and scraps. Where is the egg/shrimp/chicken? Since they do have an extensive menu I might try something else more authentic like duck congee or bitter melon.

A small Chinese kitchen in a strip mall in Willowbrook.. The food was large for a small order andI was ore than satisfied with the usual dish I order in these Chinese carry outs. This place actually has room enough for some seating and it is good to see people enjoying these small mom and pop diners

So I am hoping to upgrade this rating soon. I found this on Yelp but did not have a menu. It was not online, so I just called and placed an order, really for whatever, but wound up with Hunan chicken, which was supposed to be spicy, but was not at all, and pot stickers. Once I got to the restaurant and got their menu, I saw that they have an excellent selection of Authentic dishes, which of course, is what I really wanted. They have Peking Duck, which I will for sure be getting next time. Anyway, the Hunan chicken was just fine. It was not spicy, which was not that big of a deal, the husband and I just added some good old rooster sauce to. But veggies could have been a tad more crunchy. I was not disappointed with overall flavor, for americanized chinese. Huge portion for $8.95. The pot stickers were overly large, that is the dough portion. Again, not a big deal, just don't eat all of it. The sauce served with it was lackluster and disappointing. But I can tell, this place has potential with it's authentic dishes. That is why I will be eating here again soon to re-rate this for it's large menu of authentic chinese food. Seriously, peking duck! Yes please! They did tell me to call first to make sure they had it.

I've been frequenting this place for a couple years now. I find that it is the best value for Chinese in the area. Lunch special is a great deal, and you always get plenty of food. Delivery can take a while but service is usually fast if you go there. Don't expect fancy decor or ambience. It's basically like a cafeteria. Overall, pretty good, authentic Chinese and American-Chinese food at the right price.

Super nice little Chinese restaurant. They make great Chinese food with reasonable price tag. And nice portion as well. We have been ordered food form this place for past two years and never been disappointed. I would recommend Tofu, won-ton soup, and fried fish. The cashier handles carry out order, waits on the table, and collects the money. So do expect a little lag time if you want to dine in there. I never had any problem with carry out orders.

It's a small place and it's quite easy to miss. But I really like eating @ this place. Food is GREAT with reasonable prices + good portion size. There's only one cashier that does almost EVERYTHING. But if you are not in a rush, definitely no biggy.

Quite possibly my absolute favorite Chinese food, ever. I highly recommend the sesame chicken with a side of their HUGE crab rangoon. Beyond delicious...

I've gotten their lunch special sesame chicken a few times. Very large portion. The fried rice always tastes a little strange. Other than that it's pretty standard Chinese food. Nothing to rave about.

Went to try this place based on good reviews on yelp. Upon entry, I was greeted with a confused look (because I was alone and didnt look chinese I guess). Anyway, so i get seated and get myself a free chinese tea - delish! I order their lunch option (6$) with Chicken Kow (chicken and vegies in white sauce) , get the crab rangoon instead of egg roll and some fried rice. The crab rangoon was very good, crab filling with what I thought was cream cheese, very tasty. The fried rice was just average, just fried up with soy sauce, no vegies in it my friend! And here comes the worst part, the chicken kow smelled and tasted of oil that has been used to fry something multiple times (know what I mean?) It was just bad and lacked any sort of flavor. I could not eat it beyond a couple of bites. Its a nice little deal to have lunch for 6 bucks but I should have ordered something else may be. I am not sure if I will come back here again!

This place is simply the best true Chinese restaurant in the western suburbs. Just expect traditional Chinese service and decor AKA not high end stuff. Excellent value and taste!

This is my first not so great review. The place was spotless the woman who was working Oh so sweet and kind. The food was fresh good but bland really bland no pizzazz .I had beef chow fun asked her to add pea pods she said no problem, there isn't anything the wonderful lady wouldn't do,chow fun is usually made with sesame oil that's what gives it that unusual flavor that I love ,I ordered Won Ton soup it came it was a large bowl it was good as well but bland I kept adding soy sauce to try and give it more flavor. My husband had vegetable soup .The vegetable were so fresh but sorry bland. He had I think three happiness fresh but bland .If she spiced it up I would go there all the time.

It's hard to find a good authentic asian restaurant out here, and this place is just amazing...

When the first time I went tothis restaurant, I was like..hmm....its that a carry out order restaurant? But well., actually they have dine in too, just they don't have a very nice atmosphere, dine in just like you eating at a carry out restaurant....so don not expecting they have a nice decor, but you will be surprise that they can made a very good food, I would say they have many different kind of Cantonese style food, it's authentic too!! The owner made their roasted pig, BBQ pork, cantonese style chicken..roasted pig is excellent, even better than the one from china town! Also, you will be surprise they even have cantonese style wonton noodles, so many authentic chinese dishes, Congee, rice plate...and it's not pricey at all. Last time I had their Pe Pa tofu, it was so yummy, very authentic and its like a home make Cantonese style food! The owner is extremely friendly, honestly it's very hard to find a quality Chinese food in suburb, even in Chinatown. If you wanna try some real Chinese food, give a chance for yourself to try this place!

This is my go-to place for great carry out Chinese food near my neighborhood. The whole family enjoys it every time.

I love going here with my mom because she orders in Chinese (i really think the food is better when she orders it)! From what she tells me (bc I can't understand), the lady who owns the place came to the suburbs from Chinatown because of competition. They have so many amazing authentic dishes, good prices and large portions. I only wish they had those long fried dough!!! If you're in Willowbrook looking for authentic Cantonese food, this is some of the best I've found outside of Vancouver or Hong Kong. Also, the owner is the sweetest lady ever. And the plastic pork display.

Good Chinese. The dumplings Appetizer is notable. Good fish and Mongolian beef dishes and great combination fried rice.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
