This pizza is really bad. It's not the same Papa John's pizza I've had years ago. I don't know if it's this store or if they changed ingredients. You're much better off going right next door around the corner to Jet's Pizza, which is really delicious but a little pricier. As a matter of fact, their management should do the same to see what a difference.

for as much as they advertise.......and proclaim the freshest ingredients and great pie.....i don't get it, at all. i got a large pizza there, just to try them out, actually never had pj's.....it had the same consistency as domino's.....but with a weird kind of sweet / tangy sauce, which i really don't like. i'm continually amazed at the growth and staying power of these chains with really average food.......says a lot about the human condition i guess. i think little caesars is better, which i guess also says something about mine.

Why is this the only Papa John's I've had issues with? They never get the order right. If I want square cut, it never comes square cut. If I want light cheese, there's like zero cheese. If I want buffalo wings, they didn't make the trip. WTF. Enough with the "oh sorry" because you don't mean it.

I really can't understand why someone can't take 10 seconds to review an order to make sure all items ordered are included. On multiple occasions extra sauce I've ordered and paid for isn't included. Why does that happen so frequently, I just don't understand.

It's a chain pizza place, so you cant expect culinary genius but you always know it's going to be ok... So the reason for the terrible rating? Terrible customer service. First experience, I ordered for pick up (lived down the street) and when I got there they gave me a pizza full of olives. I told them they gave me the wrong pizza, in which some worker rudely and arrogantly said "This is your pizza you ordered, I remember taking your order over the phone" I politely showed him I ordered online and informed him that I actually HATE olives. I would have to possessed by an Olive lovin demon to even order the darn things. I received no apology for the rudeness or mix up or anything offered to me. Came back 3 more times(what was i thinking?!) and each time something was always missing off my order... Trust me I usually only get 1 to 2 ingredients on my pizza. (im a bit lame) Each time no apology or any effort to make up for the mistake. Sooo skip this place and go to local pizza shop that will probably have better food and customer service!

I ordered my pizza at noon. Around 1:15 when it wasn't here yet I called and asked where it was and they said it should be here any minute. I didn't get my pizza till 2:10 and because it took 2 hours my pizza wasn't even warm. Will NEVER order from this place again!

Spending an afternoon at Kids Town in Wheaton, and decided to order pizza for the kiddos. Was told 30-40 minutes for delivery, but it took an hour and 15 minutes. No apology when I called and no apology from the rude driver, who didn't even have proper change. To make it worse, our pizza and cheese sticks were cold. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your pizza!

Ordered a pizza from here as Papa Johns is one of my favorites. I should have seen the red flags when I ordered an original crust pizza and was told they only had thin crust. I ordered anyways as I was hungry. When it arrived it was luke warm and just not good. Will never order from this location again and I do not advise anyone else to either.

It was my son's ninth birthday yesterday. We ordered pizza from Papa John's because that's what he requested and he's a very picky eater. We placed the order at 5:30 PM and we were told it would be 30 minutes for delivery. That worked out perfectly because we are going to a 7 PM movie. When an hour had gone by and the pizza still hadn't arrived, I called the store. I was told that their computer accidentally had a glitch and they lost my order. I was told that my pizzas were not coming. By then we had absolutely no chance of getting dinner so we had to go to movie without dinner. My son and his friends and my kids were upset and hungry. So was my husband. I was pretty upset by this news and asked to speak with the manager after the girl on the phone just apologized and offered me nothing. I got the manager Steve on the phone and he told me he was very sorry it was completely their error in the next time I ordered Papa John's it would be totally free - he said everything - delivery the whole deal. So tonight I decided to order pizza for our family 5 kids and 2 adults (4 pizzas and 2 drinks) and when I called to my place my order I was told that they indeed had it in the system that indeed the entire order was free for causing my family an issue on my son's birthday yesterday. Our food arrived and we were enjoying it when we got two calls from Papa John's and then our doorbell rang again 10 minutes after he left. The deliveryman at the door said that we hadn't paid for our dinner! I said there had to be a mistake as my dinner was comped from their error last night. I called the store and spoke to someone who told me that they would only comp my two pizzas they would not comp my entire order tonight. So I basically paid for $50 for two pizzas and 2 bottles of soda plus we tipped the delivery guy. This is horrible public relations and terrible customer service. I told him if he would charge me the $50, he would lose me as a customer forever since now I've had to back to back negative experiences two days in a row. The man on the phone said that that he understood that. This is an example of a company winning the battle to lose the war. I feel treated poorly now not just once but twice. I would have not felt this way had they just did the right thing. It is changed my entire opinion of this company. I'm appalled. It's not about the money, it's the principle. There are plenty of better choices out there for better pizza. I would not give this store any business!

I live nearby, so my roommates and I order from here fairly frequently. The service and quality at this location is really inconsistent. We have gotten wrong pizzas, burnt pizzas, late pizzas, perfect pizzas, and uncut pizzas. We have also received perfectly cooked, perfectly delicious pizzas. We continue to order from here because it's close and cheap and the service is not awful. It's always a gamble, but at least they keep it interesting.

I order from this Papa John's often. They always get it right. The pizza is always great. I love their crust especially. Most of the time, the pizza's ready before I can even get there. I would give them five stars, since it's always great--but yelp says to say five stars for places that are, like, the best place you've ever eaten, or something like that. So this is a pretty awesome four-star rating. And I felt the need to give a review because the average review is so unreasonably low. So give this Papa John's a try. I think you'll like it!

Ordered pizza online on Sunday during the bears game. Received email saying pizza would be delivered within 40 minutes. After it being a hour, called them to ask where our order was and why did we get an email saying 40 minutes and was told that the email is an auto confirmation that is sent. Finally after 1 hour and 20 min we finally recieved our food and the pizza and cheese bread was cold. We ordered extra garlic sauce because there was a lot of us and we didn't receive that. I understand that it was busy and that the delivery time could be longer, however, a little customer service call saying our delivery time is longer than what the email said, would have gone a very long way and I might not be writing this review. I will not order from this papa John's again.

Ordered a pizza with a friend here, 35 minutes before they closed and we got our food on time, wasn't too expensive and it was delicious!! A real life saver.

This is a chain store pizza place so you know what kind of pizza you are getting when you order. This location has very friendly and FAST service. Food was hot and the garlic parmesan breadsticks were amazing! The ham on my pizza did taste a little older and they forgot the garlic dipping sauce with the pizza. All in all, this is a good Papa John's location.

I have had multiple problems getting the little extras such as the garlic sauce, pepperocini and special seasoning packets. Either they don't give them at all or they don't give you what you have asked for and paid extra for. I have now been told that garlic sauce DOES NOT come with thin crust pizza unless you ask for it. I have always ordered thin crust in the past and always gotten 1 garlic sauce. I called and instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding I was yelled at and talked over. DONE WITH THIS!!!!!
