What a great find. Fried pickles anyone? Don't knock'em up until you try them. DJs is where your bartender is your server and your topless dancer! No lie. Honest injun. Would you believe wears a bikiini while serving drinks and cracks wise? How about fun, pours an honest drink and if you have something interesting to say is engaging? That's more like it. Food is pretty darn good. But can you afford to eat here? Well if you can too bad, so sad. How long you been between jobs bub? I've had the chicken wings, cheeseburger, Chicago hot dog, home made chips, volcanic chocolate cake, sampled the entire wine list, more than a few cocktails and two kiddie cocktails. That's just this sitting. Okay, I'm having some fun dear readers. So can you. Head on over. Recommended without reservation. Come to think of it they don't take reservations. But I digress, come anyway.

Good food. Bar tender was great and knowledgable about the craft beers they had available. Great local atmosphere if you are looking for a local place.

Great local bar! I live within walking distance and my husband and I often walk over for a few drinks. You never know when it's going to be crowded or empty, it could be packed on a Wednesday and dead on a Saturday! You also never know what the crowd will be, sometimes we are the oldest people in the bar and other times the youngest! It's always a good time with nightly drink specials. Definitely a dive bar, but who doesn't love their local dive?!

If your under 40, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Great place and great food. Beer/Booze was priced pretty good but the real draw was the food. Deep.Fried.Hot.Dog. It was something else. Cheese melted on the dog then wrapped in bacon then deep fried. Good stuff. Fries were fresh and hand cut. Very good also. Only thing that I think would be an improvement would be to add a craft beer on tap. Miller/Stella gets old after a while. Check it out!

A much older crowd the time I went. It has good bar grub and a unique christmas display now that could fit in on State Street. A pretty neato looking neighborhood bar. It has all the games on Sunday and the usual beers on tap. Nothing to write home about and just another three star yelp

I like dive bars. I liked them better when I was drunk which I wish I would have been this time. This place is beyond a ripoff. I went with a group and we decided to split a few appetizers. They charge $8 for the smallest order of nachos ever. Maybe if they would have been good, that would be acceptable but this was mystery cheese with a couple of jalapeno slices and Hormel Chili and salsa straight out the can. The chips were kind of good but there were barely any. We were informed that if we wanted more chips and cheese, we were going to be charged 3 more dollars. Ooh, $11 for diarrhea. Pass. The fries were actually good, except we ordered cheese fries. I don't know what that thin yellow grease was but it wasn't cheese. It wasn't even the bright orange goop you get at a ballpark. The hot wings were, well, hot. Temperature wise, at least. The predominant flavor of the wings was, in fact, salt - not any kind of spice. My friend ordered a double shot of tequila that looked like someone took a sip on the way back. We were really just there to play trivia but the nastiness in this place made us wish we would have just played Trivial Pursuit in a Taco Bell. Yeah, this place makes running for the border sound delicious.

I've recently become a fan of this place. it's a great place to go grab a drink and some pretty decent food. The bartenders are great and know how to run a bar. The atmosphere is a bunch of regular locals but it's a great time.

Love the atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome burgers! The more recent addition of craft beers on draft is also a major plus in my book!

A good friend of ours is a major regular and while staying at his place, we decided to grab one of their famous burgers, watch the Cowboys win and drink some beer. I loved the feel of the place. It was clean, loud, but not too loud for conversation, decorated nicely and the stools were pretty comfortable. The bartender was pretty quick at getting what we wanted and even recommended the pumpkin ale beer, which turned out to be fantastic and perfect for upcoming Halloween and the Fall season. Big screen television hung on the walls playing the game, dartboard and casino games were in the back and a pretty neat jukebox had some good tunes for 2 for a 1$. The burgers were pretty damn good and were cooked the way we asked with some amazing French fries. Next time, I'll add all the veggies and maybe some cheese, because it was kinda plain. I'll be back for sure, even if just to try their fried pickles and have another Shirley Temple.

I can't believe that this place doesn't have a higher rating! Great burgers, reasonably priced drinks, friendly bartenders and locals. Yes, it's a bit divey but in the best possible way... And it's always very clean. You walk in a stranger and you leave feeling like you're apart of a secret club. Love it. Very mixed crowd-you'll see rowdy young 20 somethings sitting next to old couples and everything in between. Great for kicking back to watch a game with hubs or for girls night out!

Awesome sports bar. Friendly crowd. Might be the best burgers in Chicago and a great beer selection!

A fabulous burger at a wonderful dive bar off the beaten path. The quarters are a bit tight but it is well worth the stop for a burger and a beer. Price and service were of great value and I will be seeing DJ's again in the near future!

DJs is at the end of my block. It has the best burgers in a pretty good radius. The crowd varies wildly from we're-home-from-college coeds during the holidays and summers to the local barflies. Service is friendly and fun. Plenty of TVs. Comfortable atmosphere. Best neighborhood bar.

I went here on lunch because I had a groupon. I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't expect as big of a dive as it was. It smelled like an old basement. The woman behind the bar seemed annoyed that we wanted to sit at a table and not the bar. I ordered a turkey club wrap with no mayo. When it came, it had mayo. I opened up the wrap to wipe out the mayo, rather then send it back and found a platic tie!! Like the ones used on bags of hamburger buns! Thank goodness I opened the wrap up and didn't bite into that! They took it back and gave me 20% off my bill for the "inconvenience" The reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because once I got my new wrap, the food was actually decent.

This is a great find. I feel torn about being the one to expose it on here. It's on the corner of Blackhawk and Chicago just a few blocks east of Cass and a few blocks south of Ogden but nothing else is right nearby. It's been there for years with the same owner, Tracy, who sometime bartends. She is friendly and gracious and deserves more business. There are darts and a patio. A great jukebox. A horseshoe bar. Cheap drinks. Big booths to hide in. And friendly locals. It sorta feels like you're in somebody's basement... In a good way.

I have been here one time. It is your typical neighborhood dive sports bar. Staff was nice and the crowd was cool. On Thursday nights, a pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea is $10. Now, they are a tad weak, but for $10 bucks it is still worth it. This is reason enough to go here. They have other good daily specials though.
