Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

By far my fav pizza place! It's become a Sunday tradition for us and now one of my favorite days for dinner.

We ordered the Pizzas for a work related lunch and they were pretty good. I tried their vegetarian pizza and it was quite tasty.

We were staying in a nearby hotel and saw their advertisement on the back of the channel guide which boasted "Hotel Special: 18" 2-topping pizza, breadsticks, and a two liter for $24.99." When I called, the girl seemed imposed to be taking my order. She told me the price had increased to $26.99. I asked if I could still get the lower price since that was what was advertised to me and she said no, the price had increased. I then pointed out that it was not my fault and that it was false advertising otherwise. She put me on hold and carried on without clarifying the price. She hurriedly told me she'd give me the lower price. I wasn't sure if my kids would eat anything but cheese, so I asked if I could just get extra cheese and that was it. She argued with me saying, "But you get TWO toppings!" I settled with getting half sausage (which they put on the whole pizza anyway). We then found a triangular piece of black plastic, measuring about half a square inch, located in the sauce of the pizza. Unfortunately, their quality control for both service and product was just not there for us.

Standard pizza fare, you can not go wrong with Jimano's. Good menu variety. The italian beefs are HUGE! You will need a fork and knife to manage that sandwich. The pasta is alright, nothing too spectacular. Online ordering is reliable. Delivery is reliable as well. They offer the kind of consistency that you would expect from a local pizza chain (5+ locations).

This place has the most amazing pizza, definitely my GO TO for any type of pizza! Whether it's delivery or pick up they are always so friendly and timely. And whenever I call they are always pleasant and helpful. And there are always coupons available that never expire. If you are looking for the best pizza around, you will find it here!!

Great Chicago deep dish pizza, very fast, tasty, & hot!!!!! Ordered bread sticks too, got quite a bit more then expected. You get your moneys worth here that's for sure.

It's been more then 5 years for me, but i think of Jimmy's every time my belly craves pizza. The monday night special used to be the things dreams were made of. I was wondering is Jimmy's would be willing to send their pizza sauce recipe over to the east side of the states, so they could learn how it's done. Edgeless pizza that makes you eat more then your fill, just because it taste like heaven. I miss you guys, and honestly wish you were here! Ever thought of expanding? White pizza, double decker, blt, meat lovers utopia. I need you Jimano's in my life.

Hadn't ordered in awhile. Jimano's use to be one of my favorites around here. I remember it being much better. While the pizza was cooked and prepared just fine, it just wasn't good. It was WAY too salty! I mean, I couldn't even taste anything else! It also had that frozen pizza taste to it too. Idk, maybe the ingredients had picked it up from being refrigerated. My mother and I really had a taste for some good pizza....and to think of how much it cost too. Money down the drain. I'm so disappointed. I probably will not order again.

It's one of the only places that tasted close to Chicago's pizza, when we moved here 11 years ago. Still ordering from here today.

My husband and I ordered the BLT pizza with a stuffed crust and an order of breadsticks. It was amazing! Not only was the crust perfect but it had a ton of toppings on it, and with bacon that's definitely a good thing. I was skeptical about the breadsticks at first because they didn't look typical, but I was pleasantly surprised with those as well. This will be our go to delivery place from now on.

It's been years since I've had this place. The first time I had it, I loved it. Years later, came no where close to how it was the first time. Almost felt like I was eating frozen pizza. Don't know if I'll return, it's hard to beat pizza house, quenset, and kaisers. Even luigi's in kenosha is way better to me.

I love their pizza!! I introduced my boyfriend to their pizza and he is all about it. It comes LOADED with the toppings you order. Often delivered before the time frame they give you. Never have we had a pizza slide!! I love when you order bacon, the receipt says BACON!!!! They always have a free breadstick coupon and they are super yummy and buttery

I can always count on Jimano's Waukegan to take care of my busy office. From group pizza partys to catering visitors, the food is great, always fresh and delivered on time. I always get a friendly and courteous voice when I call which makes all the difference. Great quality and outstanding customer service keeps me coming back.

I am giving this 2 stars for the pizza I had last night. When they run a 50% off text deal or BOGO promo they skimp on the cheese. I have complained before and they swear that they don't use less cheese on these promo deals. I am not stupid and have had their NORMAL pizza and would give it 4-1/2 stars but stay away from the promo days if you want a quality pizza.

It may be hotter than Hades in here, but sometimes you have to sweat a little. The pizza is worth it and if you can't handle the heat, you can sit outside, they have some chairs out there for you. I've only tried the pizza and breadsticks, both of which I'd be all over again, but my sister also enjoys some of their other choices. Sometimes it's not a pizza kind of day (BLASPHEMY!). Jimano's suddenly became a no-brainer addition to my suburban rotation. Also, apparently they have a pizza called the Beast. For some reason, this is worth a mention, despite the fact that I have no idea what's on it. BEAST.
(5)Janice G.
My go-to pizza place for delivery. Staff is friendly and professional. They always deliver on time. I've only had thin crust pizza and it's always good. Not too much sauce. Not too salty. Price is right and they often have specials and coupons.
(4)Mike L.
Love this place for lunch! The slice of pie is fantastic! And the price is right. 5.00 for slice and a drink! I will continue to visit!
(4)Ron Z.
Heat pizza, we order this all the time at the office and have never been disappointed. Too bad they don't deliver to Chicago
(5)Renee W.
Really good Pizza! I will add one more star once I try the thin crust. My parents and I got a double crust supreme pizza last night. They like a lot of dough I do not so I am going back for a small thin crust this week. Even with the extra dough the flavor of the sauce and ingredients were amazing.
(4)Tiffany W.
We love this place. We've always have this delivered! great pizza!! a very delicious supreme salad.. the Italian beef is great!! the steak fries are yummy!!! They have great coupons!! Nice and friendly workers. The only issue we've had is them forgetting either fries or jalapeno poppers on occasion.. the prices are great!
(5)Daniel G.
This is where I go for pizza when it comes to thin crust. Yes its a bit pricey but that's because its actually good pizza!
(5)Ryan D.
Best pizza in town. Cheese is real and dough seems to be a good quality. Price is a little high but I have no problem paying a little more for a good product!
(4)Bee H.
Ordered from this place a couple times but I'm not sure if its just me or my orders but I prefer the Gurnee location a lot better. I try to give them chances because sometimes it is really really good, other times it just downright not good. Edible but not what you would expect for an order that cost you $50. Or I reheat it in my own oven then it's a little better. I do say the pizza is better than all of those chain restaurants like Pizza Hut, Papa Johns and Dominos. Also it is way way better than the pizza from their neighbor Jacks Pizza. Its either a hit or miss with this restaurant location.
(4)Mike L.
The pizza here is pretty good, can be a little pricey but the quality is good. The crust is good and comes in all the Chicago styles. The pizza special "The Beast" which is a supreme type of pizza is just ridiculous in the amount of toppings they put on it, maybe a little too much. They have other food here like pasta and ribs but I have never tried those.
(4)Evan K.
This is the best pizza I've had in Illinois since Papa Dells in Champaign began to go downhill. Hands down the best around. To hell with all of you "thin crust only" or "deep dish only" people. It's about quality and flavor. This place has it. They nail it. You'll get what you pay for (and you will pay--haha)
(5)Evelyn Y.
I heard this place was good. Ordered a regular thin crust sausage pizza. It was OK. The cheese just kind of felt slabbed on too thick and a little too chewy on the inside, like the mozzarella hadn't fully cooked. Like I was eating Pizza Hut stuffed crust? Except... on the actual pie... And virtually no sauce. Disappointing. Toppings are fine, but nothing to moon over. It wasn't terrible pizza - just not my first choice. I'd order Papa Johns over this any day. Or Jack's. By the way, you don't really eat inside - this is more of a pick-up and delivery place only.

The name of this place is now Jimano's Pizzeria, but I guess the name hasn't been changed officially in the listing yet...ANYWHO....best pizza hands down in these parts, if you ask me. Some people who live or are from here will say Quonset, but I beg to differ. Jimano's AKA Jimmy's has not let me down yet. The pizza is always hot and fresh when I pick it up. It's tradition that I eat a slice as I drive home. The best one is the thin crust, cheese, ground beef and bacon....I'm in ecstasy just talking about it. I could eat this pizza at least twice a week with no problems. It's conveniently located in the shopping plaza 10 minutes from my house, next to a Jewel and.....hot DAMN, a 31 Flavors....so I can run into the grocery store, get some Mint Choco Chip ice cream from the 31, pick up my pizza and be in 7th heaven when I get home...WHOOOHOOOO...... I also like the fact that they have programmed my phone number into the system so when I call all they need is my order and I don't have to give a last name and phone every single time..... Only thing is, the place is not spickin span clean, but it's not disgustingly dirty either.....also, it's really small and between customers and the pizza delivery guys coming to pick up orders, it can get a little croweded and it's HOT AS FISH GREASE IN THE PLACE! The parking can be a bit packed also, the spaces are really small.

This is my go-to pizza place. I love the crust and their pizza sauce is the best in Gurnee. They have daily specials and do way more than pizza. The place is clean and service is friendly. Good value for your money and highly recommended.
