Visited this Chilis this evening for dinner. Since we aren't from the area, we weren't sure whether or not we were willing to take a chance at a local venue so we decided to dine at Chilis. The service was great for a Friday afternoon, this Chilis was the nearest one to Zion according to the app, we were quickly seated and the waitress quickly took our orders. She brought us our chips and salsa, very good paired with sweet tea. I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and needless to say I was amazed how tender and flavorful they were, I haven't had ribs like this from Chilis for quite some time! French fries and I was all set! Way to GO CHILIS! AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE, if I am in Waukegan in the future, I will recommend making another stop here.

I frequent this place and I now decide to write a review, the SERVICE IS ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectation for a chain establishment. Chili's is so much better than applebees and the cost is even less. The menu is extensive and almost everything tastes awesome. I could go on and on about this place but try it for yourself... Unlimited free refills of the lemonades, teas and sodas. Top notch food, our large group of 14 was quickly seated and extremely well taken care of.

It's chili's. The staff here is friendly and the food is prompt. We come here from work every few weeks and it does okay for a medium sized businesses lunch. Nothing special, but they also don't totally let you down.

The address brought me to the middle of a road. Housing on one side and a company on the other. Couldn't find it anywhere so I have nothing to say about the service when we couldn't even find the place.

I forgot to defrost the pork chops yesterday so we were in panic mode for dinner when I arrived home late. Chili's is close to our house -- and a place we *never* go. We did a To Go order a few weeks ago that was palatable so we decided to stop in and give it a try last night. First of all, it's oddly dark inside. I'm not sure if the lack of lighting is cost savings or ambiance, but it was weird. And I am fully aware that I sound like my grandmother complaining about the lack of light in a restaurant. Service was pretty terrible. It took almost ten minutes for a waiter to greet us or take our drink orders. Every time he came to our table after that, it was as though we were an annoyance or inconvenience. I also -- oh, God, I really am my grandmother -- don't understand the Ziosk screens on the table. You can't order from them. I have the same menu in front of me in printed form. And there was some dude across the aisle watching movie previews on what I have to assume was top volume while we tried to have a conversation. All of that said, the food was good. We shared the steak fajitas for two and chips and salsa. Chips were fresh and salty; salsa was good. The steak fajitas could have used more seasoning, but they were good for what they were. Probably won't come back until the next time I forget to defrost our intended dinner.

Had a good server, food was good and surprisingly there's wasn't a crazy lunch rush hour. I guess 2pm is the time to come

Again, horrible service. My dinner came when my friends were almost finished with theirs. When I was done, she didn't buss my plate. They didn't comp the bill so we tried signaling for the server with that tabletop app. She was too busy sitting in a booth with her friends to notice. My friend had to hol the table thing over her head just to get her attention. Finally she came over, we asked for the manager, and after her fake and scripted apology, she comped part of the bill, leaving $6.27 on the bill for me to pay. It's really too bad that this restaurant is earning such a poor reputation for crappy service.

I haven't been to a Chili's in eons but I do remember the food was alright. When we got there we were seated upon arrival. As I browsed through the menu, I couldn't help but to think of the Chili's Jingle Song - "I Want My Baby-back Ribs" and I all of a sudden I found myself singing it silently in my head! Well that was a no brainer. I ended up ordering the half rack of ribs with homestyle fries. The place was fairly full and service kept up with the demand. Besides the traditional menu, I noticed that every table had this wireless portable gizmo on it where you can browse and order anything on the menu via touch screen. It was pretty neat! It even offered games and other fun stuff. You even had the option to slide your credit card to pay your check and it prints out a receipt. I was wowed. I wonder what the wait staff thought about this electronic waiter gizmo? I'm sure it's not good... Anyhow our food arrived in a timely manner and my Baby-back ribs with Shiner Bock BBQ Sauce were tasty good. At the end of dinner I opted to pay the old fashion way and handed my card to our waiter. Chili's surely kept us warm on a pretty darn chilly evening...

Can't say anything bad about this place. I came here with my wife and 2 kids for lunch before seeing a show at Genessee Theatre on a Sunday afternoon and we had about 1 hour to get in and out to be on time. We got here about 11:45 AM and it was mostly empty. Our waitress promptly got us menus, drinks, and took our orders. The big screen TV's were on all over the place and I even got to see the first quarter of the Vikings runaway win over the Cowboys. Gotta love the 2 for $20 promo Chili's has going on. It's a lot of food for a great deal. I got the bacon burger and my wife got the ribs. Additionally we had the fried onion strings and jalapeno slices appetizer, which is awesome. The kids ordered a little pizza, plus a bowl of mac and cheese, which they split. And if that was not enough, our 2 for $20 included a dessert big enough for all 4 of us to share. When we were done, right on time, we headed off to the show feeling filled to our satisfaction. It wasn't until about 6 hours later that we even thought of eating something again. Good, fast service and clean place overall. I don't know why Liz S wrote an unfavorable review of this place for getting herself wasted. I stuck with the usual strawberry lemonade, my proven favorite at Chili's for many years now, and I walked out just fine. As far as a Chili's location goes, this place is good. If you're going to stay sober, a shot and 2 margaritas just doesn't make sense, so don't complain about the establishment if you get wasted. There's plenty of other places to get drunk out there.

It's chilis, we frequent here often as it is right around the corner from our house. Service can be hit or miss as the food can be but overall it does the job and meets my expectations. I must say it helps that I don't expect to much as chain restaurants like this typically are the same and not very consistent.

We'd left NTC after the graduation ceremony and the committee decision was to eat someplace that was familiar, sailor-approved, and predictably a vast improvement over food on the base. If you've been to a few Chili's Restaurants, you know they are variations on much the same theme. We enjoyed our lunch and I was told that business is brisk after every graduation ceremony, which is almost a weekly (Friday) event. As we looked about, there were a number of young men and women who had graduated that morning, so word apparently gets around or perhaps this Chili's is conveniently located near several of the area's hotels & motels. Our party of six was seated and served promptly. The staff was friendly, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced.

I've given the Waukegan Chili's Restaurant a few chances and it never failed to have good or any type of service. The first few times it took forever to get someone to even acknowledge us after we were seated. Then the final visit was when the microwaved veggies that they place in a baggie was placed on my plate and served to me. Ugh! I tried, but never again.

GHB. Oh yeah. I went here and I had two frozen margaritas and a shot and left plastered. Now, if you've ever drank with me you know I can hold my liquor. I have NEVER in my life been drunk like this. I was bouncing off the walls and barely remember the night. When I do look back, I remember the bartender saying, "we'll give you the special margarita" and I was the only one of my friends to get that batch. So, yeah GHB. Three little letters. Damn them. I suppose if you're on a date with someone and feel like taking advantage of them then this is the perfect place. However, I'd suggest staying away from here in general. It's not like their food is actually any good. Just have to say it one more time, GHB....

I LOVE Chili's! I've never had a bad experience at our local Chili's. The food is always perfect and the service is always super friendly and right there when you need them (but not so much so that they make you crazy.) It's one of the few sit down places I can go for lunch and KNOW I'm going to get to eat without feeling rushed or worrying about not making it back to work on time.

So I get it, it's Chili's. It was a cold, snowy night and we just wanted to grab a quick bite on the way home from the airport. While the place was dead, given the weather we sat at the bar and felt fairly comfortable. Not like we we're keeping anyone there, but more like they figured they had to be there anyway, so why not make money - which I can appreciate. The bartender was pretty accommodating and after a day of canceled flights and delays, thinking back, I may not have been in the best of moods. We had some slider type burgers which were really delicious and something else that was fair, but slipping my mind now, so obviously not too memorable. Would have been a solid three stars, except about midway through the meal I looked at a table across the bar to see a server rolling silverware roll-ups and after watching for a minute realized the cup he kept picking up was a spit cup! Sure enough, with silverware in hand, he was sitting there chewing tobacco and spitting with a tray of silverware there. Now as both an occasional smoker and someone around the food industry, I don't see much difference in had he been smoke. Actually with spit involved, I think it could be worse. I know everyone has their vice, and while I know it isn't 100% I would like to think every server washer their hands after smoking. But really? Sitting in the restaurant chewing and spitting, I don't know just something I can get past.
