Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. The pizza wasn't to bad. Not one of my favorites. There were a lot toppings which I always like. Be sure to bring some cash, because they do not take credit and debit cards. The place is nice on the inside, and very clean. They have a salad bar, and pitchers of beer. Service was good, very attentive waitresses.

Best pizza EVER! It can be crowded at lunch time and on Sunday afternoons. If you are wanting to sample the pasta as well as the pizza they have buffet on Wed nights, and lunch tues-fri. The thick crust is my fav, but if your not a bread lover go with the original. Everything is fresh and hand made. The secrets in the sause, truly. The Owners Sal and Vita have not shared it with anyone but it is addicting. Every person I have exposed to this place asks for me to deliver every time I go home to visit. It is a true diamond in the rough!

We stopped by this place on a road trip from St. Louis to Chicago. We were fortunate to have done so. The pizza was delicious, but the service was hostile. We ordered off of the menu instead of choosing the buffet. The buffet was a bargain but the options were extremely limited.

Pizza real elite though. If you're passing exit 60 on I-55, stop by and enjoy this stuff. We got the 16" with ground beef, onions and mushrooms. Throw a little crushed red peppers and you're having a party. Unfortunately, the service isn't amazing. We never got water refills at any point. In fact, they only came to deliver the water and pizza. We had to flag them down to bring our check. That said, it's a small town pizzeria, so it gets a pass. Four stars.

It's so good . Sweet sauce perfect crust.. A real treat. Very generous on toppings , everyone is very nice. Price is extremely reasonable for the quality of food. This pizza is made with purpose and thoughtful care. I gladly drive from Chatham to eat this. It's worth it.

Great pizza, if you like sweet sauce. A little on the expensive side. Buffet is limited but refreshed often.

I grew up in Virden, and loved this pizza. I thought it was the best pizza in the world. Eventually, I grew more sophisticated, and realized that it was just the pizza I became imprinted on, and that was it. But, I bring people from all over, and they all say that this is some if the best pizza on the planet. Super tasty, with a sweet sauce and a yeasty crisp crust. They make it on site, and throw their dough the old fashioned way. I love my family, but, even if I didn't, I'd still come 2400 miles for DiCarlos.

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I remember growing up and always eating at the DiCarlos every time that I would pass through Virden. A definite go to if you are ever in the area!!!

Buy the hype. DiCarlo's is pizza at its best. I've had the fortune of living within delivery distance- a blessing untold. Any time family or friends visit from out of town, they want to go to Dicarlo's. Stop reading and go get pizza.

We will for sure come back to this wonderful, friendly, Italian family restaurant. Food is great, staff were friendly. Loved the atmosphere!

Excellent pizza. Sauce is a bit sweet which I like. Even better next day warmed in the oven. Delivery drivers are always courteous.

Pretty good pizza. Really like the supreme (forget the name it's called) that has everything on it. I could eat an extra large by myself in one sitting if only my stomach was bigger. I just don't want to stop eating it. Service is usually pretty good even when the place is packed. A lot of evenings they could use a building twice this size.

My family loves this place! The pizza is very good, I prefer the pastas though . The owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! My husband and I recently moved back to Virden and We go a few times a week. The take out orders are awesome as well.

My mom grew up in Girard, and every visit back this pizza is a must! The ground beef pizza is my personal favorite, but whatever toppings you like are sure to be a hit - because the secret is in the amazing sauce!

Best Pizza EVER! It's the only reason I go back to Virden!

A little crowded at noon on a Sunday, go figure... Still in and out within an hour and the pizza was delicious. The little sausages were perfect. The ingredients were truly " fresh ingredients " and the service was quick and as friendly as an overworked waitress could be... Also very attentive to pops, refills were quick and easy... "Yours is the one without the straw" Funny;)
