What can I say? This is the best value for breakfast in the Sauk Valley area. The breakfasts are made to order and they are willing to do whatever to make you happy... and FULL!! The owner can be found busing tables and always in the front of the house. His hands on approach seems to be working and the staff seems to be happy this. One negative is that they close at 3:00 PM.

Excellent place for breakfast! (I've never eaten lunch there). The service is always fast and the waitresses are friendly and experienced. My personal favorite is the Swedish pancakes.

What a pleasant surprise! Driving on 88 from Ames to Chicago, stop for Saturday brunch, looking a bit worn from outside, inside service and food were great! Had a nice talk with the kind severs and owner, even got a taste of a Swedish pancake...highly recommended for a cool stop for brunch

This is the best breakfast restaurant in sterling Illinois. Move never had a bad meal or experience here. The waitresses are top notch!

While traveling alone on vacation, I was looking for breakfast in Sterling, Illinois. After reading rave reviews about this place I wasn't surprised to find a wait, which I did patiently. When they seated two couples ahead of me who had arrived later, I questioned why they gave preferential seating to couples and was told a table would be "coming up soon." Is this good business? The food may have been good; however, my treatment didn't seem right. I departed the establishment in search of a McDonald's drive-through where one's place in line is honored!

This is the best breakfast spot in town! Pancakes are fluffy, coffee is great, omelette are thick and tasty. The bacon and sausage is also very good. This is our new place to go for my favorite meal of the day - breakfast!
