First time here. The waffles were like delicate flowers full of happiness for my tastebuds. The egg had a little shell in it which was my only complaint. The service staff was warm and welcoming. The server we had at our table seemed to be in a bad mood but she still kept our cups full. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean as well, except it had those faucets where you have to was one hand at a time...who does that?? Overall I was very pleased with the service and quality of the food. I was greeted kindly at the door. The server could have smiled just once but we all have a bad day from time to time. Eggs shouldn't have shells in them. But the waffle was to die for. I'd recommend them to all pancake house lovers.

I had brunch here today and I enjoyed my meal so much. I had the taffy caramel apple waffle along with a side of sausage links and hash browns and raspberry sweet tea. It was all so delicious.vMy mom and aunt had the breakfast special which is good as well. It is nice and quite. Very casual and cozy. Its good for groups. The service is efficient and friendly. I would go back there again for breakfast.

Best place ever! I love the breakfast and lunch, and on Sunday the soup of the day is the best ever cream of chicken and rice! The fries are to die for and they have amazing French toast made with a cinnamon bun! I come here just about every week and have never been disappointed! Make sure to get Sunday's soup of the day.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews on here. I've been here once, and I was very satisfied. I went on a Saturday morning around 11, and to my surprise, there was no wait. The waitress was very nice and patient (went with a bunch of young kids.) The menu had lots of interesting choices. I ordered a skillet, and it was cooked well, and very delicious. My son got pancakes with strawberries and hashbrowns. He is a very picky eater, and he gobbled it up. I will definitely come back, since it is very close to my house and the place I usually go to is usually already super crowded by 9am.

Went here for breakfast for the first time this morning. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, and the servers were very courteous and intuitive. The server brought a box for my companions leftovers without even being asked. I had the Spanish scramble, which had onions, peppers, chorizo and cheddar. It came with hash browns, tortillas and some salsa. I enjoyed the food...the salsa was flavorful. What I liked about the breakfast was that it was somewhat unique and different from the standard omelet you might get. They had a lot of interesting choices...lots of different benedicts, skillets and frittatas. The lunch and dinner items looked good too. I will be back. Nice surprise! Most of the breakfast items are $8.50.

Can we, as a whole, in Steger and Crete band together and woo some respectable restauranteurs to come here and take root? This place is awful and appears to be operated by drunken slobs. No care. No inspiration. Mediocre menu that no one appears able to cook. Sad. Very sad...

My favorite breakfast spot in the south burbs. I usually get the chopped steak, which comes with pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. Waffles are great, too. Never had any problems with the waitresses.

Sigh... I really tried to find something positive about this place and I just cannot. Just like someone else said: canned soup, and frozen food....YUCK!!! And the need to wipe down the menus and the salt and pepper shakers.. Gooey and sticky.. the health dept. needs to step in here.....

I love this place. The staff and servers are always friendly and courteous. When I go I share ( its just so big) the Veggie omelet. It has every veggie you can imagine in there and of course being a carnivore i ask for crunchy bacon to be folded in and to top it off I have them put some Mozzarella on top. The omelet is delicious and always fluffy never burned. If you are ever in the south suburbs and you are craving a delicious omelet please try this place. They have a huge selection of food on their menu so try something, I always want to but I just can't pass up my omelet! :)

The Chicken Philly was inedible, bland and unseasoned. The place was clean, and the servers were nice, so I gave it two stars.

I love this place! I've gone here a few times with my family, and a couple times with just my two young girls. The service is always very friendly and fast. My youngest is 3, but she's fairly well behaved in restaurants. But it is always wonderful to have a paitent server, and I get that every time at Raspberry's. The food is always delicious. Having a pancake house so close to me is dangerous! I'm a big fan of their cherries on anything. :)

This place is horrible, if you like canned soup then you might like it. Eggs where cold , i got a corned beef on rye and it was packaged meat that you buy at the dollar store.. We told owner we where disappointed and she said sorry but we never get a complaint?? we didnt eat anything and they would not take anything off the bill. i didnt even want to bring home for the dog.Take my word , dont go there
