I eat here almost everytime I come to Springfield. The food is fast, good and inexpensive. I love the Pad Thai lunch special

I thought they did a nice job. The Chinese menu was a little bland. The Thai food was good

I love going to Taste of Thai! My husband introduced me to the place back in 2005 (he is a Springfield native) and we go there every time that we are in Springfield (twice if we have the time). I would recommend this place to everyone! It really is good and reasonably priced ^_^

Truly one of Springfield's best kept secrets. What's not to say about this place. The prices are beyond reasonable and the service is great. Tons of parking available in the huge lot outside. Normally I'd recommend a specific item at this place, but everything that I have ordered has turned out great. They do give you the option of spice level. I normally like a medium level, however their medium still kicks your butt. So if you're not into hot, just order it mild. One thing that does stick out is the chicken soup. Definately something you should be having when feeling under the weather. Finally, I appreciate a place that splits the bill up without any grief. I really recommend this place if you're looking for good Thai and or Chinese in beautiful, sunny Springfield.

Egg rolls are great. Food here hits the spot. One of my favorites.

Hard to beat a great meal! Taste of Thai is my favorite restaurant in Springfield. Service is good and the food comes out to you pretty quickly usually (depends what you order).

My family and I have become regulars at this restaurant to the point where the scold us when we don't come in. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. I always get the Chicken pad thai in mild plus or the beef fried rice. Both are exceptional. Would highly recommend

Really surprising, unassuming place. My new favorite Thai place in the area! Had the shrimp massaman curry. It was very tasty with a good portion of rice. The Thai tea was also awesome.

Wow. If you like Thai food this place is great. They offer a Thai menu as well as Chinese but I did not come for Chinese. I live Thai food and this is some of the best I have had. I order the Chili Paste it's a simple dish with choice of meat onions, mushrooms, and if you want some heat just let them know. I asked for a medium heat and it was just right. Had a great amount of spice to it. Additional these were some on the nicest people I have seen running a place. Very laid back joking around with customers talking to them etc. I will be back. You have to try this place out. By the way it Is located in the strip mall some of the maps make you think it is out on the road.

I ordered basil chicken fried rice and asked for medium spicy. The dish was good, tasty but super spicy. Will order again but this time non spicy.

Yum. Got medium spice for my basil fried rice and it was pretty spicy, but I didn't mind. It was a bit more expensive than I expected, but no complaints! Waitress was very friendly also!!

This small inconspicuous place serves up a fantastic Pad See-Ew and a great (although HOT HOT) Thai green curry that is just right! The staff was so friendly that they even offered for me to wait in my car and they would bring me my meal, since I mentioned my precious pooch was in the vehicle. Everyone could not have been nicer! The price is totally right for the quality of the food! Only thing missing was chop sticks in my to go bag (but to be fair, it is a Thai place, not a Chinese one). They do not deliver - but you can call in and pick up your meal. I think this place will be a regular for me.

This restaurant was not too hot nor was it too cold. I only visited once, but that may have been enough for me; I found it through Yelp. It is located in a mall setting, a small place that could be overlooked if not looked for. When I went in around 4, the place was completely empty. The restaurant looked great, with a dim lighting and very nice ceiling fans that were detailed. There was also a board by the register with the specials for that day. I was immediately welcomed and told to sit wherever I wanted, which was very friendly. The menu is rather small, but the choices were diverse and sounded somewhat generic. My friend and I ordered, and the food was ready in less than 10 minutes. This was a surprise to me that it was ready so quickly. I got beef basil fried rice and my friend ordered katsuy chicken. My friend said the chicken was good at first glance, but it was dry and unenjoyable after the first piece. My rice was not fried, it was white and wet. Other times I've had fried rice, it was brown, but that is a comparison to Chinese restaurants. The price came out to about $15, which was pretty good price wise for the food. At my time of leaving, there was only one couple there. This is a great place for cheap "fast-food" Thai, but not a great place for authentic. May not be going back.

Horrible! Worst Thai food I have ever had. Table and drink glass were dirty, food over spiced and not tasty. Would Not reccommend

Good place to eat, I normally go there and get the pad-see-ewe. The food can be customized to their preference as I usually get it medium or hot and ends up really good. The establishment however could use some cleaning and updating but the service is super friendly and relaxed. The owner is quite comical at times too.

The soup and wide-rice-noodle dishes I had were excellent. The service was friendly and relaxed. It is an open place, not too cozy. So if you desire ambiance I'd do take out. Good place overall that I'd eat at again if I am in town.

Try the Garlic Black Pepper Chicken! It's absolutely amazing and the rice complements it perfectly. I like to mix part of it in with the vegetable soup (included). I'm yet to find anything like this at any other thai restaurant. It has a very unique and delicious taste. Any time I'm back in Springfield, this is a must have. Take a less spicy approach if its your first, as they tend to make things really hot.

Great food, great service and reasonable prices. We'll be back.

Great food and the price is right. Not on-a-date atmosphere but casual and easy. The curry is great. I recommend the summer rolls -- they are some of the best I've had.

Been here twice and will probably go back since it's close to my hotel and their prices are great! I will skip the Chinese menu in the future though. The General Chicken was nothing like I had expected and was just ok. The Thai food is good though and the lunch special can't be beat.

Maybe it was the dishes I ordered but I wasn't too impressed by the food. The 4 star rating on yelp caught my eye but my expectations were not met. Summer Roll: The clear wrap was wrapped nicely around lettuce, lotta noodles, and tiny pieces of chicken here and there. The roll was definitely overpowered by too much noodles and not enough meat. Texture was good - balance of ingredients not so good. Red Curry: Bamboo shredded shoots overload. I wasn't asked which type of meat was given (turned out they added chicken - and again, wasn't much chicken). Honestly, the more I think about this dish, I can't believe how much bamboo shoots there were... they should rebrand this dish to bamboo curry. Service was good. Cost was typical ($7-9) for Thai food / Chinese entrees. Other than that, what I ordered were just A-OK.

I stopped here for lunch, hoping it might be good, but wasn't.the service was very good though, and she was attentive to me.I ordered the vegetable soup though the broth was decent it was loaded with onions.it was way too much and ruined the soup.I also got the pad Thai pad chicken, and it wasn't that great.the sauce didn't taste that good.the service was great, but you need to have a good dish to keep me coming back.

Very tasty! Waitress was friendly and funny. Ginger chicken lunch special was better than most I've had. Price is reasonable and I would definitely return.

This is my second Thai restaurant I visited after coming to United States. One word I say is "awesome". I want to visit it again and again before I leave Springfield.

There is no way this restaurant can legitimately be given 5 stars. It's an ok restaurant with ok food. The employees seem very nice, but that's not enough to justify a rating higher than 3 stars. It is situated in an old strip mall. The restaurant is small and there is no direction when one walks in on whether to seat yourself or go to the counter. The tables are very basic linoleum and wood. There's nothing outstanding about any of the physical space as it is decorated like most strip mall Chinese/Thai/Szechwan type restaurants (Asian kitsch). The food at our table seemed to have been thrown together without much care. For example, ingredients which other restaurants would finely mince were only rough chopped. The sauces are the highlight here, although they seem a little watery. Another reviewer praised the spring rolls, but ours were excessively chewy and wouldn't even hold the sauce. It's not a bad place. There's just nothing about it which sets it apart.

Enjoyed friendly staff. I had the seafood soup which was good but just average taste. Also had Summer rolls.....good. Not on my list for a return visit

I love the Duck Curry!! The grapes and pineapple in coconut is wonderful. I have been enjoying this place for years.
